Kajol has always been blunt and does not shy away from putting her opinions out in public. She is surely one of the most celebrated actors of Bollywood but that doesn’t protect her from being the victim of social media bullying and trolling. Yesterday, she was spotted by the paparazzi exiting the Mumbai airport. In the video, she can be seen walking way too fast making people question her bizarre style of walking.
In the videos that are now going viral, you can also notice how Kajol asked paps to stay away from her and continue walking fast. This has led people to bash her brutally on social media.
    Here are the videos:

View this post on InstagramFrom calling her ‘aunty’ to ‘overacting ki dukaan’, people have called her all sorts of names. There were people who even went on to say that she is without makeup and hence wants to avoid getting clicked. There were a few who made lewd remarks that she might want to go to the washroom and hence she was walking this way.
    Here are the reactions:

We wonder how Kajol would react to these comments. Trolling should be called out and it might be possible that she was actually running late for some prior commitments. With regards to her asking paps to maintain some distance, we think it was quite a mature decision considering the rise in the COVID cases.

Not just Kajol, her daughter Nysa has been a victim of this harsh practice time and again. In an interview with Bollywood Bubble (https://youtu.be/6RhqLwghIyE), Kajol while addressing these nasty trolls, said, “My daughter gets followed by the paps, you have comments and horrible things said at her and the only thing you can do at that point is to counsel them that people will talk crap because you matter to them but you cannot let that matter to you so much. You have to tell them that their and our opinions matter more than anyone who is writing from behind fake names on social media, whom she will perhaps never meet. I want to tell this to trolls to ‘please, get a life.'”
    Here’s the interview:

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Kajol was last seen in a web film titled Tribhanga alongside Tanvi Azmi and Mithila Palkar.
Now, she is gearing up to star in the movie titled The Last Hurrah helmed by acclaimed veteran Revathi.

The much awaited teaser for Vijay Deverakonda's Liger is finally out, and as expected, the man has been successful in reeling us all in, yet again. He plays an MMA fighter in the movie, and looks like a monster - in the best way possible.
    View this post on Instagram
Vijay looks like a literal beast in this aptly named film, and has worked extremely hard for this over a period of more than a year. Kuldip Sethi, his trainer, has revealed 5 things that helped him achieve this super impressive physique.
    View this post on Instagram
    1. Consistency Vijay started his transformation journey in December, just before COVID hit us. After training for 3-4 months, all the gyms shut and he had to make do with home workouts. While it was extremely limited for the physique goal he had, he kept going with whatever equipment he had at home. While it felt like an uphill task, his consistency made sure that he did not let all the progress slide off.
    View this post on Instagram
    2. Nutrition Kuldip mentioned that even though training is extremely important, nutrition is the real game changer. Sticking to one's calories as well as macros when there is a goal to be achieved is crucial for succeeding. While everyone seems to be more curious about 'what exercises have been done' to achieve a particular physique, it's the nutrition bit that's actually more important.
    View this post on Instagram
    3. Carb loading as per requirement After a fat loss phase, carb loading is important to make the muscles look fuller. While the popular perception is 'no carbs will lead to a chiseled physique', that's not entirely true. Carbohydrates are important and need to be utilized wisely when it comes to achieving a physique like Vijay Deverakonda in Liger.
View this post on Instagram4. Carb depletion and high protein diet as per requirement Vijay was also put under a carb depletion diet once he reached a particular body fat percentage to achieve his physique goals for the character. While carbs are important, one may need to temporarily get rid of a major chunk of them during shredding. Sometimes, to achieve that ultra ripped look, carb depletion can be an important tool. However, one should only resort to that under expert supervision, as it can be counterproductive otherwise.
View this post on Instagram5. Goal oriented training Even though Vijay already had a lean muscular physique before Liger, the physique required for this particular role was extremely different, and required specialized training in terms of exercise as well as nutrition. While taking inspiration from stars in terms of their physique is great, beginners must keep a few things in mind, like sustainability of an active lifestyle and long term training benefits, before jumping in the bandwagon and blindly following someone's training plan.

A couple of weeks ago, all of my friends had an elaborate conference call trying to make a plan for New Year’s eve.
And while some of us went straight ahead to the idea of an intimate house party, others jumped to the thought of chilling at a beach in Goa. And I wouldn’t lie, I was tempted.
Call it bad luck or good, but I fell sick just a week before the New Year and ended up staying in on the big night. Others, however, flew to Goa and landed plum in the middle of what can only be called a breeding ground for Omicron, as thousands of people partied into the night without a mask on.
Goa is immune to Covid! Protocols, masks, social distancing- what’s dat??#pandemic #Goa #BeachParty2022 #COVID19 pic.twitter.com/rbUn672oRg

And just like that, the adage that goes like, ‘Old habits die hard’, continues to stand true in the new year as people continue to wear blinkers and party like there is no tomorrow, ironically also ensuring just that.
Welcome to #Goa. These photos from Calangute-Baga beach during #Christmas weekend tell you the story about the #tourist rush. And we have #NewYear and then the #AssemblyElections2022#MaskUp Goa and be safe.

Several horrifying and worrisome videos of hundreds of people parading Goa beaches have gone viral, despite the rise in Covid and Omicron cases.
And what’s worse is, most of this crowd includes educated and woke millennials who have conveniently turned a blind eye to the pandemic that had engulfed us for two years.

As people raved into the night, there was no sign of social distancing, using a sanitiser or even wearing a mask as thousands of people crammed in small spaces to attend concerts, techno music festivals and parties at the beach.
The bombardment of people and utter disregard of the health guidelines started from the time around Christmas which is when Goa started to get flooded by tourists from all across the country.

As of now, the health ministry has said that the active cases in the country now stand at a whopping 1,45,582 while 1,700 cases of Omicron have been registered.

Stunned how Indians are celebrating their #NewYear in #Goa. No masks or any compliance of covid protocols & social distancing can be seen! #Lockdown isn’t the option. People need to be aware.

And we won’t be surprised if the number spikes after people return from Goa and spread the disease.
At this rate, Go Goa Gone might just turn into a reality, except this time the threat won’t be flesh-eating zombies but virus spreading careless humans!

Radhika Apte has time and time again established why she is one of the finest actors in Bollywood.
Whether it is her performance in Sacred Games, Andhadhun, Lust Stories or Badlapur, Radhika is considered an actor who takes her profession very seriously, by putting in stellar performances in films as well as OTT series.
    © Netflix
Now, having been around in the industry for some time, Radhika once revealed having to do something very crazy to get the part in a Bollywood movie.

Speaking to Neha Dhupia in an interview a few years back, Radhika opened up that the weirdest audition she had to give for a role was for one where she had to actually do 'phone ***'.
"The weirdest audition was when I had to have phone *** for Dev D. I had to tie my hair or eat a lollipop or something. And I used to live in Pune, and I never had phone *** till then ever. But I did it and it was great fun. Although I didn’t get the part…clearly." said Radhika.
Yep! That's right. The role was for the movie Dev D which was directed by Anurag Kashyap and had starred actor Abhay Deol.
    © Netflix
The movie obviously went on to do very well at the box office as well as critically. However, unfortunately for Radhika, she did not get the part with the role eventually going to actress Kalki Koechlin.

In the film, Kalki played the role of Leni who lands herself in the middle of an MMS *** scandal.
    © Netflix
Later on, after the MMS gets leaked online, Leni's father ends up committing suicide.

During the course of the same interview, Radhika also opened up on what happened in the aftermath of her leaked nude clip from Clean Shaven.
“When a nude clip of mine leaked, while I was filming Clean Shaven, I was trolled badly, and it did affect me. I couldn’t step out of the house for four days, not because of what the media was saying but because my driver, watchman, and my stylist’s driver recognized me from the images," said Radhika.
The Padman actress will next be seen in the upcoming movie Vikram Vedha starring Saif Ali Khan and Hrithik Roshan.

India cricket team capped 2021 with a historic win as they defeated South Africa by 113 runs in the Boxing Day Test in Centurion. While everyone celebrated India’s memorable victory, head coach Rahul Dravid was not happy with the way things panned out for Virat Kohli and his men.
Speaking at the pre-match virtual press conference on the eve of the second Test, the former India skipper shared one thing that hurt him the most after the Boxing Day Test.

‘The Wall’ was not pleased with the fact that India lost one World Test Championship (WTC) point as a punishment for maintaining slow over rate during the series opener at the SuperSport Park in Centurion.
The 48-year-old cricket legend said that it was disappointing to lose hard-earned points, especially in overseas encounters because the players worked hard to get on the right side of the result over the course of the five days.
Head coach Rahul Dravid is disappointed with India losing one WTC point due to slow over-rate in Centurion.

This was not the first time Kohli’s side had to part ways with crucial WTC points. Before Centurion, they had already lost two valuable points for their slow over rate during the Trent Bridge Test against England last year.
“The rules are the same for everyone. We understand that, we know that. It's hard - I mean we're playing four seamers, conditions were very hot in the two days that we bowled, and we're trying. It's an area we need to get better at. We've discussed that, we've had a few chats around it,” Dravid said while addressing the media on the eve of the Johannesburg Test.
    © Twitter BCCI
The head coach said that personally he felt that losing points like this felt a bit harsh but at the same time he understood why the International Cricket Council (ICC) had brought this rule in place.

Team India is striving to make it to their second consecutive WTC summit clash but losing on points like these could hurt their chances and that’s why Dravid said he had discussed the issue with the players and everyone felt that it was an area where they needed to improve going forward.
    © Twitter BCCI
“We got docked one over in this game - it is disappointing to lose points because each of these points, especially these overseas points, are really hard-earned, and we have to earn each and one of them, so it is [disappointing], and we need to get better at that, and we need to ensure that we're not docked more points, because in the end, it would be very disappointing to miss out [on a place in the WTC final] because of over-rate points that get docked, so yeah, it's something we need to work on.

“I think the ICC is trying something. It does feel harsh when you're a coach, but it certainly gets us thinking, it certainly gets us wanting to quicken it up. They've tried fines in the past and that doesn't seem to work, tried other methodologies in the past that don't seem to work, so the ICC is trying to go down the points route, which I'm fine with,” he added.
Cannot ask for a better end to 2021! @28anand captures the essence and vibes in Centurion post #TeamIndia's historic Test win at SuperSport Park. #SAvIND

No team would want to miss out on a WTC final berth due to a slender margin, hence Dravid has warned Kohli and Co. that if they repeat the same mistake again and again they would have nobody else but themselves to blame.
He wants the players to realise that every single point is equally important and wants them to ensure that they finish their stipulated overs in a given time frame to avoid any more penalties in the future.

During the toss for the second Test match between India and South Africa, everyone was confused when KL Rahul walked to the centre to the Wanderers cricket ground alongside South African skipper Dean Elgar instead of the Indian captain Virat Kohli.
Even the former Indian cricketer and commentator, Sunil Gavaskar was absolutely stumped upon looking at how come the vice-captain of the squad was appearing for the toss and what it meant for the team going into the penultimate match of the series.
Surprising news for the Cricket Team fans as the captain Kohli has an upper back spam and will not take part in this second Test against South Africa!

    - KL will be handling the responsibilities! #Crickslab #SAvIND #india #southafrica #ViratKohli pic.twitter.com/WHQ3URwXmY
    — CricksLab (@CricksLab) January 3, 2022
Soon after, Rahul confirmed what all the Virat Kohli fans were hoping not to hear - that the skipper will be missing out on playing in the second Test match. In the five or six minutes between the cameras first caught Rahul walking in and talking about Kohli’s reason for not showing up, the fans had already come up with a series of potential explanations for his absence.
While some speculated that the war of words between Kohli and BCCI president Sourav Ganguly had finally caught up with the skipper and that this was Dada’s way of punishing him for candidly opposing his words in the media. Another reaching argument was that Kohli missed out on playing the match as he was busy making preparations for his daughter, Vamika’s second birthday. Some were even fearing that Kohli may have contracted the COVID-19 virus which would mean the end of his series almost instantly.
KL Rahul confirms Virat Kohli had a upper back spasm.
    — Johns. (@CricCrazyJohns) January 3, 2022
However, after Rahul won the toss and chose to bat first, the first question he answered was by giving an update on the reason behind’s Kohli’s absence. According to the substitute captain, Kohli suffered an upper back spasm which ruled him out for the entirety of the second Test. However, Rahul did mention that he should be back in good shape to play the third and final match of the series.
For the second match, however, Rahul announced that red-ball veteran Hanuma Vihari would be taking Kohli’s spot in the team and will help the side on their quest to secure a 2-0 lead in the series.

The last Test of the series would have been Kohli’s 100th in the all-white uniform. However, after missing out on the second match, it seems as if the skipper will be playing the monumental match on home ground against a touring Sri Lankan side on February 25th, in Bengaluru.

As India and South Africa buckle up for the second of three Test matches of the ongoing series as the Wanderers cricket ground, former Indian cricketer Ashish Nehra has opened up about the massive gap that he sees between the two sides as a result of the first match at the Centurion.
After the Men in Blue won their first-ever red-ball match at the venue and dominated the Proteas by 113 runs despite the fact that one of the five days got washed out due to rain, Nehra feels that there exists a gulf between the two sides that the hosts may not be able to close in time.
    View this post on Instagram
The South African side is going through some of its own problems in-house, including dealing with the mid-series retirement announcement made by Quinton de Kock, one of the most experienced players of the squad and their leading wicketkeeper as well. The unavailability of the injured Anrich Nortje is also hurting them in the bowling department.
“India will look to continue their work from 2021. I see a huge gap between the two teams now. South Africa has been going through some problems recently, and now the problems for SA are deeper with de Kock’s retirement. He was experienced and a key player in the squad. Dean Elgar would wish that he has senior players around him, and de Kock’s departure is a concern,” Nehra said.
View this post on InstagramTheir skipper Dean Elgar managed to play a captain’s knock during the second inning and tried his best to hold together their batting lineup to the best of his ability but the continuous leak of wickets from the other end thanks to some fierce pace bowling by Mohammed Shami and Jasprit Bumrah. Eventually, even Elgar’s time at the crease was up and there was no going back for Team India.
If one had to find a problem with India’s performance in the first Test, it would have to do with the fact that some of the most seasoned batters for the side including Cheteshwar Pujara, Ajinkya Rahane and skipper Virat Kohli himself, could not manage to put up enough runs on the board. However, with the added morale of the win from the first match, those issues are also being hoped to take care of themselves. For instance, Rahane in particular looked a lot more confident than he did while playing against England a couple of months ago.
    View this post on Instagram
Despite the fact that today is just Day 1 of the second Test and there is yet another match left in the bank, Nehra feels that this series is for the tourists to win and finally break the curse of India not owning a series on South African soil in the longest format of the game.

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who was last seen in Aanand L Rai's film Zero alongside Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif in 2018, is currently busy with his next project Pathan. Helmed by Siddharth Anand, the much-hyped movie also features John Abraham and Deepika Padukone in pivotal roles. While the makers are yet to announce it officially, SRK started shooting for Pathan last year and his fans are eagerly waiting to see him on the silver screen after a long wait.
    View this post on Instagram
However, the film has now faced another roadblock. According to the latest buzz, the shooting schedule of Pathan has been delayed once again amid the huge increase in COVID-19 cases in Spain.
Revealing the same, a source told Free Press Journal, "The shoot was to first take place in October in Spain where two songs were to be filmed apart from some action sequences. But that was not to be as SRK had to take a break due to the case against Aryan. But now, when he had allotted these dates in January, the COVID-19 cases in Spain are on an all-time high. They recorded over 1.6 lakh cases in a single day, with cases crossing a lakh for consecutive days".
The shooting atmosphere in Spain is not very good despite 80 percent of the country being vaccinated. "Hence the makers were prudent enough to push the shoot," the source added.
Reportedly, after consultation with SRK and Deepika, the makers are now planning to shoot the songs and other remaining portions in February. However, nothing is yet confirmed.
    View this post on Instagram
The actor, who stopped shooting for Pathan after Aryan’s arrest in the drugs case, recently resumed work in Mumbai. A new picture of the Kuch Kuch Hota Hai star from a set also made it to social media. In the picture, SRK was seen posing with Hrithik Roshan's Mohenjo Daro co-star Diganta Hazarika. The photo grabbed eyeballs and SRK fans speculated that it was clicked on Pathan sets.
While the official announcement is still awaited, there is a buzz that Shah Rukh Khan has also signed films with Rajkumar Hirani and Atlee. Also, he will be seen doing a cameo role in the third installment of Salman Khan & Katrina Kaif's Tiger franchise.
