    Bollywood has set a very wrong perception of how a woman’s body should look like. Over years, we have started to accept that a woman should be thin and have a perfect figure with just the right assets. For women who don’t fit that criteria are body shamed and brutally trolled for the photos, they share on Instagram. 
    Well, Ileana D'Cruz is here to change how a Bollywood diva should look like. An actress doesn’t have to be a zero figure and she can still manage to look the best version of herself. Ileana was also body shamed and it took her a lot of inner strength to convince herself that trolls don’t matter.

    "I remember those days like it was yesterday. It’s weird because it’s a very deeply ingrained scar. I went through body-shaming right from the time I was 12. I had just hit puberty and growing up. You are hit with these weird comments. And people are passing comments about your body and saying, ‘Oh My God, why is your butt so big?’ And I am like, ‘What do you mean?’ You think you are fine and then suddenly you have random people saying things about you and you start to believe what they are saying. So I think it’s a deeply ingrained scar because you are carrying it for so many years. It takes a lot of inner strength to tell yourself that what they are saying doesn’t matter. What your feel about yourself is most important. And it’s something I tell myself every single day,” she told Bollywood Bubble in an interview.
    She also added, “Because I go through it every day. I have at least 10 messages that I can find on my Instagram right now about body shaming for sure. So there’s always going to be somebody saying something about you and it’s harsh. And as much as I would like to tell people can you please be more kind more sensitive because you don’t understand how much it can affect somebody else. The only thing that’s in your control is you and how you think about yourself. So I would constantly just tell people your opinion about yourself is what matters the most. The hell with the world, the hell with what they think. Only your opinion matters. You are someone who is going to live with your body. There are days when I am like, ‘I don’t like this. Is my stomach too bloated?’ But now I am like, ‘No it’s fine, there’s a uterus in there so it’s fine. It’s alright. It’s not gonna be flat.”

    For all the fans who have been waiting for the motion poster of Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor's Brahmastra, it has been launched at a grand event in the capital city. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, Brahmastra is a superhero film jointly produced by Fox Star Studios and Dharma Productions. The film was earlier slated to release in theatres on December 4, 2020. The film's release was delayed due to the novel coronavirus pandemic. 
    The three-apart fantasy trilogy will release in five languages. Soon, the makers will announce the film's release date. Brahmastra also features Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, Mouni Roy, and Dimple Kapadia in key roles.
    The motion poster looks grand and has piqued the curiosity of the viewers. In the motion poster, you can see Ranbir’s character claiming there is something happening on the earth that is unknown to mankind. Alia then questions him about this phenomenon and also wonders if only he can sense it. The video ends with Ranbir standing atop a hill as he holds a trishul and we see a new-age hero.

    At the trailer launch, Ayan said the movie focuses on energies and it’s been very long since the movie has been in making. He also said he has seen his friends getting married in this period and he was waiting for the right time to release the movie.

    Ranbir said, “It’s been eight years and I remember we were shooting for the last leg of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Ayan had a very basic idea of a young man born with a great power that he fully doesn’t understand. It’s been a lot of hard work, blood, tears, and sweat that has gone into it. It has taught me something you and I should live by that we have to hold on to the fundamental quality of having faith. I miss my father terribly today and he kept fighting with us because it took us many years. I hope he is proud of us and he is watching us.” 

    Alia added, “It has been such a long journey for us and we are emotional. I will be obviously emotional because baby (Ranbir), you are in the poster.” 
    A section of people have already given it a thumbs up and had goosebumps while watching it. They said it’s going to change the history of Bollywood cinema. Well, there were others who were a tad bit disappointed with the poster and didn’t approve of it.

    On July 22, 2014, trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and shared the announcement news of Karan Johar’s Brahmastra directed by Ayan Mukerji and starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. 
    At that time, the movie was slated for a December 2016 release. His tweet had read, “This is BIG news! Ayan Mukerji to direct Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. Produced by Karan Johar. Releasing Christmas 2016 - 23 Dec 2016.”

    The movie had instantly garnered traction as this was supposed to be Ayan and Ranbir’s third collaboration after Wake Up Sid in 2009 and the blockbuster Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, a year before in 2014.

    However, things didn’t go as planned for the makers as well as fans. 
    The movie couldn’t make it to its December 2016 release and was delayed. Over the years, Brahmastra release date has been announced multiple times only to get delayed. 
    In early 2019, it seemed Brahmastra was finally ready to release as its logo was launched amidst much fanfare at Kumbh Mela. But once again, the film faced a delay. Often the reason given for the film’s endless delays was its heavy VFX work. 
    Soon, the release of Brahmastra became a butt of jokes in social media with many users creating memes on it. Now after more than seven years since its announcement, it seems makers are finally ready for the film’s release.

    While the new release date of Brahmastra has finally been announced with a motion poster, here’s a look at how much things have changed around us since the Ranbir Kapoor starrer was announced in July of 2014:

    After the 2014 election win, BJP’s Narendra Modi was sworn-in as the 14th Prime Minister of India on May 26, 2014. Brahmastra was announced two months later on July 22.

    Alia Bhatt, who was announced as the lead actress of Brahmastra, had made her debut in 2012 with Student of the Year. By the time Brahmastra was announced, she had featured in only 4 films out of which 3 had released in the first half of 2014 itself. 

    Similarly, Varun and Sidharth who made their debut with Alia, were seen in only three films by then. Out of which two each of their films released in the first half of 2014.

    Ranbir Kapoor, who is currently dating Alia Bhatt, was still in a relationship with Katrina Kaif. In fact, a year after Brahmastra’s announcement, he had talked in an interview about his plans of marrying Katrina by the end of 2016. 

    However, a few months later, they broke up. Katrina recently married Vicky Kaushal.

    The common misconception is that the success of Baahubali prompted Karan Johar to make Brahmastra. Well, that is not entirely true as Brahmastra was announced a year before Baahubali’s release. 

    However, it seems like the makers had a change of plan after Baahubali released and they decided to go grand with their sci-fi fantasy. 
    Recently, Ayan had shared a picture with SS Rajamouli and a part of his caption had read, “The spirit of SS Rajamouli has hung over my personal journey over the last few years… because the success of Bahubali truly energised us, and gave us the confidence to take on the mammoth journey of creating Brahmāstra, no matter the hurdles involved. Bahubali gave us a benchmark to work towards… showed us the power of cinema and a truly national movie!”

    Between the time Brahmastra was announced to now its final release date has been revealed with a motion poster, Pakistani actor Fawad Khan was introduced with Khoobsurat in 2014 and two years later faced a ban after the release of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil in 2016.

    The King of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan had delivered an all-time grosser in Chennai Express a year before and was about to deliver a record opener with Happy New Year that was released in the last quarter of 2014. 

    As of today, he hasn’t been seen in a film for over three years after starring in back to back duds in 2018 - Jab Harry Met Sejal and Zero. However, he is expected to bounce back and reclaim his throne with Pathan.

    Before the Aryan Khan controversy hit the headlines, SRK was busy working on his next big project Pathan. He had to halt shoot in Spain to rush back and be there for his son. Now , with things more streamlined and better, he is back to work and is already working on his next schedule for the movie.

    According to a recent report , SRK has been working out religiously and following a strict diet to be on track and also be in the best shape for Pathan.

    “SRK has been following a diet and working out in Mannat to get back in shape for Pathan. The next schedule also requires a few action scenes and for that he’s been pumping some iron,” the insider revealed. Also, it appears that he is now moving towards taking up more projects and is in full mood to hear more narrations for other movies.  SRK fans are eagerly awaiting the release of this movie as he will be seen on the big screen after a hiatus of almost three years.

    Ranbir Kapoor, who was last seen in the 2018 blockbuster Sanju, owns a huge fan following and has proved his mettle as a performer over the years. The actor, who has delivered various hits including Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Barfi among others, made his Bollywood debut with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 2007 film Saawariya opposite Sonam Kapoor. Before Saawariya, he had also worked with Bhansali as an Assistant Director (AD) on Black starring Rani Mukerji and Amitabh Bachchan in leads. 
    Ever since Saawariya, the actor-director duo is yet to reunite for another film. However, Ranbir recently recalled the time he assisted Bhansali on Black. Talking about the same during an event in Delhi where his grandfather’s memoir, Raj Kapoor: The Master At Work, was launched, Ranbir revealed that the filmmaker treated him only as an AD and used to hit and abuse him on the sets which prepared him for the world. 
    Ranbir revealed this at the event while talking about how filmmaking has changed over the years. Talking about his experience of working with Bhansali, he said, "When I assisted Mr (Sanjay Leela) Bhansali (on Black), he used to really treat me as an assistant director. I used to be kneeling down for hours, he used to hit us, he used to abuse us… that only hardens you and prepares you for the world".
    Well, that’s interesting!
    On the career front, Ranbir will next be seen in Ayan Mukerji's long-delayed Brahmastra co-starring Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor. The much-hyped film, which has been in the making for several years, is finally set to release in theatres next year. For the unversed, Brahmastra is a superhero film jointly bankrolled by Dharma Productions and Fox Star Studios. The makers recently unveiled the teaser of the first motion poster of Brahmastra and will announce the release date soon. The three-apart fantasy trilogy is expected to hit the big screens in five languages. 
    Besides Brahmastra, Ranbir's line-up includes Yash Raj Film's Shamshera also featuring Vaani Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt, Luv Ranjan's next with Shraddha Kapoor, and Sanjay Reddy Vanga's Animal.

    The Fantastic Beasts franchise may not be as loved and successful as the original Harry Potter movie franchise, but it does have a large section of fans worldwide.

    This is merely down to the fact that even when the Potter franchise was stopped, people, mostly Potterheads, wanted more of it.
    Well, Warner Bros delivered and we got three magic-filled movies that starred Eddie Redmayne as the Hufflepuff drafted, magical beast-lover Newt Scamander.

    Now, while the second movie of the franchise may have not had the best reception, the casting of Johnny Depp as Grindelwald in the film, really struck a chord with the fans.

    Depp, through his tremendous acting abilities, did more than justice to the role in the film, and that along with the portrayal of Redmayne's Newt would remain to be the few things good about the actual film.

    However, following Depp's personal problems with ex-wife Amber Heard, Warner Bros chose to sack Depp and replace him in the third Fantastic Beasts film with Danish actor Mads Mikkelsen.

    Now, with the release of the trailer of the third film Secrets of Dumbledore, fans got to witness Mads' portrayal of Grindelwald.

    While he sure looks promising in the role, it looks like Depp fans are not having any of it, and are choosing to boycott the whole franchise.

    Karan Johar made his directorial debut with Kuch Kuch Hota Hai in 1998 starring Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukerji. The movie turned out to be an all-time blockbuster establishing Karan Johar as a director to look out for. 
    However, it was his second film, the ambitious Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham in 2001 that cemented a position as one of the most sought after directors in the Hindi film industry.

    The movie had a huge star cast featuring some of the biggest names of the industry including Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor. 

    Upon its release, K3G became a massive blockbuster and also received love from critics and audiences. Recently, the film celebrated its 20-year anniversary and to commemorate that a lot of celebs recreated scenes from the films via Instagram reels.

    As the film completed 20 years of its release, here’s a throwback to day one of the shooting of Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham and how a stressed and hyper Karan Johar had a “loose motion attack” eventually leaving him unconscious as he fell on choreographer Farah Khan. 
    A few years back, on Rajeev Masand’s audio show Picture Ke Peeche, Karan Johar opened up about shooting of the song Bole Chudiyan which was also the day one of filming K3G. 
    He said, “So the training I had which Aditya Chopra gave me was that you should always begin a film’s shoot with a song because it helps the actors in getting into the graph. And also maybe, it was a part of my showing-off process!”

    Bole Chudiyan was one of the most hyped songs of the album as it features all the six lead stars in one frame. However, behind the scenes, Karan Johar was extremely stressed and nervous. As a result of which, “I fainted and fell on Farah Khan. I may have been responsible for some of her body injuries even today.”

    When asked about the reason behind his stress and nervousness, he explained, “I was literally so nervous. It was the third day of the song. I was unwell on the first two days because I was really stressed. I was really hyper and I kept saying, ‘Oh God, I am directing Amitabh Bachchan’!” 

    He continued, “By the time the day came and I knew he was arriving; my stomach had gone for a toss. I had this ‘loose motion attack’! I know it’s TMI (too much information), I am so sorry! I really kept running in and out of the loo. Finally, I think I had gotten so dehydrated, weak, and nervous that I walked out of the loo, I just said ‘Farah’ and I fell on her.”

    He further added, “The next thing I experienced was straight out of a Hindi film. Like you see all dhundla and then you slowly open your eyes, and I thought I saw Amitabh Bachchan looking into my eyes. There was a drip in my hand, there were doctors around in the make-up room and then there was Amitabh Bachchan sitting next to me and saying in his baritone voice, ‘Karan, don’t worry, we’ll dance well. I promise.’ I was fully conscious by then and I said, ‘Yes’. Farah gave me a monitor in the make-up room. The scene with all 6 actors in the song was shot at a time that I was not on the set! I was with my walkie-talkie and monitor in the make-up room. Farah said the day went really well because I was not on the set!”

    The sneakers used to retail for $400 or roughly Rs 31,000 when they were new. Back in 2018, these were some of the most expensive sneakers that Adidas used to sell to the public, in retail. Now, they aren’t even available on the market. As a result, the only place to cop a pair like these is the reseller’s market.

    The megastar, who has been on a roll for years now, and who is still riding the success of his most recent film, Sooryanvanshi, was seen wearing one of the quirkiest pieces of footwear, that we have seen in recent times.

    Akshay was seen wearing a rather dope looking pair of juttis, that had a very unique silhouette. It was shaped like any regular pair of loafers, with a slight heel. However, the multicoloured fabric using which it was made, along with the metal spikes that were studded across the shoe, gave the pair a very heavy metal-like appeal. We for one, totally dig such an aesthetic choice.

    Along with this zany juttis, Akshay was wearing a black coloured pair of co-ords, which, thanks to its relaxed fit, had a very athleisure-like vibe to it. The pairing of the juttis and the co-ord set may look a little odd at first, but it totally goes well together.

They come from the house of Christian Louboutin, the French luxury fashion house that is known to be a favourite among celebrities all across the world, for their line of elegant shoes.

Now, even for celebrities, paying that exorbitant price for a pair of loafers may seem high. But when you have a piece of footwear that’s nothing short of a piece of art, you really can’t resist the temptation now, can you?
