Sometimes people get so attached to a reel life character that anything that happens to their real life version affects their fans in equal measure. Actor Dilip Joshi, who essays the role, shared a glimpse of his real life daughter’s wedding on social media and it ended up making his fans extremely emotional and happy for him.

In the press conference ahead of India’s tour of South Africa, Indian Test cricket captain Virat Kohli spoke about how he was removed from the position of the ODI skipper earlier this month and his reaction to the news.
Talking about the day he was informed that he would no longer be in charge of running the Men in Blue in the 50-over format, Kohli said the selection committee got in touch with him no more than an hour and a half before discussing the Test team for the upcoming three-match series, they discussed the roster.
The All-India Senior Selection Committee also decided to name Mr Rohit Sharma as the Captain of the ODI & T20I teams going forward.#TeamIndia | @ImRo45 pic.twitter.com/hcg92sPtCa
    — BCCI (@BCCI) December 8, 2021
Kohli further explained that the selectors informed him about being dropped as the ODI captain before the call was about to get cut. The former skipper further added that he was absolutely fine with the fact that he would no longer be the leading man in limited-overs cricket for India. He further added that there was no prior communication made to him about such a decision.
Such a statement from the former skipper cancels out the reports about the Indian cricket board giving Kohli a 48-hour ultimatum to voluntarily give up white-ball leadership and him refusing to do so. Ahead of the conference, there were also speculations about whether or not the 33-year old will be a part of the ODI squad for the three-match series which will begin in January in South Africa.
Virat Kohli has informed that he's not available for the ODI series & Rohit Sharma is unavailable fr d upcoming test. There is no harm in takin a break but d timing has to be better. This just substantiates speculation abt d rift. Neither wil be giving up d other form of cricket.
    — Mohammed Azharuddin (@azharflicks) December 14, 2021
Former Indian captain Mohammad Azharuddin even went on to tweet about the possibility of Kohli’s absence from the ODI team and said that such actions lead to speculations about a potential rift between two of the biggest names in the Indian dressing room.
The legendary batter and also an ex-Indian skipper, Sunil Gavaskar also called out Azharuddin’s tweet and said that he would be giving the benefit of the doubt to the players and not believe any of the gossip coming out of the Indian cricket board without concrete evidence.
Virat Kohli confirms he's available for the ODI series against South Africa.

However, Kohli clarified that at no point in time had he made himself unavailable to the selection committee and was very much included in the squad. Kohli also condemned the speculators and originators of such inaccurate theories and called their sources non-credible.

Former Indian captain Sunil Gavaskar has challenged Mohammad Azharuddin’s theory of a potential rift between the Indian red and white-ball captains, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, respectively after the two decided to take themselves out of certain cricket series ahead of the South Africa tour.
Earlier this week, reports suggested that Kohli had made himself unavailable for the ODI series, and meanwhile Sharma confirmed that he would not be playing the upcoming Test series in South Africa. While cricketers take breaks from such bilateral series all the time, the timing of Kohli and Sharma’s leaves of absence isn’t sitting well in the ongoing scenario.
Last week, the BCCI had announced that Rohit Sharma will be crowned the new T20I and ODI captain. In the days that followed, it was confirmed that Sharma had demanded to get the captaincy in the 50-over format whereas Kohli had no intention of giving it up. As a result, the Indian cricket board gave the latter a 48-hour ultimatum to stand down. When Kohli refused to do so, he was sacked from the position nonetheless.
Therefore, according to Azharuddin, the timing of both the megastars’ breaks from playing in the formats in which the team is captained by the other person, therefore creating space for speculations of a rift, the existence of which has been making the headlines for years now.
While a lot of people agreed with this theory, Gavaskar took an exception and asked Azharuddin to share some inside information about the rift between Sharma and Kohli. He said that if there is no such information, then it would be best for the fraternity to refrain from “jumping to conclusions”.
Always a players’ man, Gavaskar also added that until there is no official or concrete evidence or announcements made by either of the players, he would continue to give them the benefit of doubt as he feels it is unfair to point fingers at them without substantial proof.
Former India cricketer Sunil Gavaskar has urged fans and fellow pundits to not jump to conclusions on the alleged rift between India’s two stalwarts Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma.

While none of the Indian actors could make it to the top ten, the same can’t be said about Indian actresses, as Priyanka Chopra is slotted at the tenth spot in the list of Most Admired Women of 2021.

The list also features Aishwarya Rai Bachchan at number 13.
Similar to Shah Rukh, Aishwarya too has been away from the big screen. Since 2016, she was seen in only one film, Fanney Khan in 2018 which turned out to be a huge flop.

The Indian cricket team is currently setting itself up for their trip to South Africa three-Test series followed by as many ODIs in the final week of December and throughout January. However, with the growing cases of the highly contagious Omicron variant of the coronavirus, especially in the country, certain special arrangements that have been made for the team have rubbed their fans the wrong way.
According to reports, the BCCI has arranged for the Indian players and their family members to stay at a resort, and not a hotel, after reaching South Africa. This is done to avoid making the players feel stuck within their rooms, have some breathing space around them, and ensure that they don’t go through the mental fatigue of living in a bio-bubble.

    — Johns. (@CricCrazyJohns) December 15, 2021
Over the past year and a half, the Men in Blue, same as all the international cricket teams who have been on the road for bilateral series and the T20 World Cup tournament, have expressed the exhaustion of the mind while being confined to the walls of a hotel and only going to the cricket grounds for practices and matches.
Their fans, however, feel as if the BCCI are already taking a lot of risk allowing their cricketers to go to South Africa, one of the critical hotspots for the new covid variant and that they are doubling down on that risk by allowing their family members, including children, to be potentially exposed to the virus.

    — Sourav Choudhary (@SouravC06654349) December 15, 2021The Proteas have been extremely thankful to the BCCI and the Indian cricket team for making this series possible especially after many other countries with good ties with them had decided to cut off traveling routes ever since the origination of the omicron variant was first discovered by the scientists in South Africa.
Many, including the United Kingdom, was accused of imposing “travel apartheid” on South Africa and other African nations after putting them on the red list of travel bans, even though they were extremely efficient and transparent about the orinignation of a new variant on their soil, which allowed the rest of the world to prepare for the next chapter of the pandemic in advance.

The Pakistani cricket was in a deep turmoil a few months back after teams like New Zealand and England cancelled their tour owing to security concerns.
Back then, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Ramiz Raja had blamed the Indian cricket board (BCCI) for corrupting the minds of other countries including Australia and England with IPL money and encouraging them not to tour Pakistan.
    Top work boys!
Another T20I series win for pic.twitter.com/tACyCH1X65
    — Pakistan Cricket (@TheRealPCB) December 14, 2021
After a couple of countries withdrew from the tour at the last moment, Raja had described it as a grave injustice to the millions of cricket lovers in Pakistan, who wanted to see their team play cricket at home.
However, it seems like the craze Raja was talking about was nothing but a lie because people in Pakistan are not interested in going to the stadiums anymore.
    All smiles!! pic.twitter.com/v0rVzb3uQ9
    — Pakistan Cricket (@TheRealPCB) December 14, 2021
In a country where international teams don’t travel that often, everyone expected that when they would pounce on every opportunity they get and flock the stadiums but the ground reality is completely different.
The West Indies is currently on a limited-overs tour of Pakistan to play three T20Is and as many ODIs. The series has already started and the hosts have even won the opening two matches of the T20I series but despite that not many people have turned up to the stadium, that too in Karachi – the most populous city in Pakistan.
    CONGRATULATIONS!

On one hand it was great news for Pakistani cricket that a foreign team was visiting their shores but at the same time the low turnout gave them a big headache.
Disappointed with the extremely low attendance, legendary fast bowler Wasim Akram took to the micro-blogging site to express his frustration and without pointing fingers at anyone hinted that he knew what was the reason behind all this but urged his followers to tell him what could be the possible reason.
Incredibly sad to see an empty stadium in Karachi for the #PAKvWIt20 especially after the performance of Pakistan Team in the last month. I’m pretty sure I know why but I want to hear from you! Tell me, where is the crowd and why??
    — Wasim Akram (@wasimakramlive) December 14, 2021“Incredibly sad to see an empty stadium in Karachi for the #PAKvWIt20 especially after the performance of Pakistan Team in the last month. I’m pretty sure I know why but I want to hear from you! Tell me, where is the crowd and why??” Akram tweeted.

It’s not a secret that the Pakistani economy is in complete shambles and it explains why people couldn’t afford to part with a huge sum for a few hours of entertainment, especially when they could watch it for free on TV.
    View this post on Instagram
This conversation was hijacked by the Indian fans who started making fun of Pakistan’s crippling economy and the security issues as the two possible reasons for this low footfall.
“Isse jada to hamre yaha jcb ki khudai dekhne jate hai log,” wrote one user. While another user wrote: “Pakistan me tamatar nahi khareed skte, ticket kese lenge”.

Jokes apart, the fact is that the PCB is spending a huge amount of money on providing high-tech security to the visitors but this low turnout is going to dig a deeper hole in their pocket.

Unless they find a way to rekindle the public interest, they won’t be able to revive the sports in their country.

This morning, Ranveer Singh was seen arriving with Deepika Padukone at the Mumbai airport. It was 8.30 am to be precise when a celebrity photographer shared their video and they were seen wearing quirky outfits.
Ranveer was seen wearing a tiger-printed shirt paired with red pants and Deepika chose to wear a black and white combo in a skirt and top. They always grab eyeballs because of their eccentric fashion style. This time was no different either.
    Here’s the video:

People also said they’re going all extra because they are insecure of Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif who are in the limelight because of their wedding.

Are Ranveer and Deepika actually insecure of VicKat? Let us know in the comments section below.
In an earlier interview, when Deepika was questioned about trolls, she said, “I am not dressing for you, I am dressing for myself, so it’s okay if you don’t like it. I think all of us have a signature style, something that you are comfortable in. I have some things that I’m comfortable with… I like to put my hair up, I like red lips. I’m fortunate enough to work with the industry experts who help me find the balance between my comfort and the current trends.”
Well, it’s the criticism that fuels Deepika Padukone to work even harder. Talking about the criticism that comes her way, she once told India Today, “Criticism fuels me. It fuels me to work harder, improve my skills, and evolve the various aspects of my craft. More importantly, it fuels my personal evolution. Failure, too, has taught me a lot. I have often been put down, even written off. But I have never been bitter about these experiences. In fact, I am grateful."
Meanwhile, on the work front, Deepika will be seen next in ‘83' along with Ranveer Singh in the film based on India's first Cricket World Cup victory. The couple portrays the real-life couple Kapil Dev and Romi Bhatia in the film.

Surveen Chawla, who started her career with TV shows, has indeed come a long way. After featuring in various hit TV serials including Kahiin Toh Hoga and Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Surveen entered the Punjabi film industry followed by Bollywood films and web shows. She proved her mettle as an actor in every medium and is known for her performances in Hate Story 2 (2014), Ugly (2013), and Parched (2015).
    View this post on Instagram
Surveen, who will next be seen in the Netflix series Decoupled opposite R Madhavan, has opened up about facing casting couch during her initial days in the South film industry. In an interview, the actress revealed that she was body-shamed during her first film meeting and warned that she would not get good roles as her weight was 56 kilos.

During a recent interview with RJ Siddharth Kannan, when asked if she had faced body shaming or casting couch, Surveen talked about her first film meeting in Bombay. Calling out the supposed physical parameters, she said, "So I was doing television and then I went for this first meeting. You know it's their job to kind of get you in the space where you question yourself. And this happens to most women also where their appearance is questioned, their weight is questioned, what is your waist size is questioned, what is your chest size is questioned".
    View this post on Instagram
This experience made Surveen doubt herself as it is not right to judge a woman based on physical parameters.

She added, "It was a period where it, alongside all the casting couch that went on with it and then a lot from the south (film industry) actually and it was quite a difficult period...It was there but I don't think those are not the right parameters that define you or make you believe or disbelieve on where you want to be or where you are at".
For the unversed, Surveen made her South film debut in 2008 with the Kannada movie Paramesha Panwala and went on to feature in various Tamil and Telugu projects including Raju Maharaju, Puthiya Thiruppangal among others. Her filmography also includes various prominent Punjabi movies like Dharti, Taur Mittran Di, Singh vs Kaur, and Disco Singh. Whereas, on the web front, she has been a part of successful shows like Haq Se (ALTBalaji) and Sacred Games (Netflix).
Her next release, Decoupled is slated to release on December 17 and tells the story of a separating couple. Watch the trailer here:

As we grow up in this crazy world, we often realize that there are so many strange things that we really don't understand.

I mean, there was a time I went to the birthday party of a girl I kind of really liked, and well, I thought a box of expensive chocolates would be the perfect thing to gift.
But, to my surprise, it turned out that the girl was actually allergic to chocolates.
Now, as I cursed my luck in the world, when I grew a little older, things just started making a whole lot more sense. People like and hate completely different things, and sometimes they may just be so bizarre, you may end up questioning your own existence.
Well, a whole new example of this is a girl named Stephanie Matto!
    © Twitter
She won a reality TV Show called 90 Day Fiancé, where unlikely people are paired together in order to see whether they can endure each other and walk down the aisle after spending three months together. She won that show!

Must be a very likeable fella, right? Well, it's a little more complicated than that.
Turns out she has a new side hustle now, and it will make you vomit, or at least pull every string of your hair.
Stephanie now sells her own farts. To strangers. In jars. And. Earns crazy amount of money for it!
That's some weird side hustle now!
    View this post on Instagram
The process actually includes her bottling up her flatulence (gas formed in the stomach or fart) in a glass mason jar.
After that, she seals the top and then mails the package out to strangers who have clicked on the Buy button online.
She earns AUD$1,400 for it. These are in Australian dollars. This means she earns 63,154 rupees per fart.
Explaining the process, Stephanie says she likes to eat some beans, a protein muffin, hard-boiled eggs, a protein shake, and some yoghurt for breakfast. (almost threw up writing this!)
Following that, her body becomes completely ready to release a lot of flatulence.
She also adds, "I like to add a little flower petals. I feel like they attach the scent and make it last longer. And when I'm finally finished with my jar, I like to leave a personalized note,"
Just wow! Sorry if we ruined the rest of your day, but this is one bizarre thing that needed to be shared!
