    Throughout his playing career Rahul Dravid dealt with people’s massive expectations but never succumbed to the pressure, and finished his career as one of the all-time greats of the game.
    He shielded himself like a wall from the outside noise and kept answering his critics with his bat, However, the current pressure that he is under are of completely different nature.

    Unlike his playing days, where he was the master of his own fortune, in his current role as the head coach of the Indian cricket team, he has to depend on others for his success. He can share his experiences, lay out plans but in the end it will be the players who carry his fate in their hands, with their performance determining whether he failed or succeeded.

    That said, most former players, who had the privilege of knowing Dravid from close quarters, feel that he has all the qualities to take Indian cricket to great heights.

    Veteran off-spinner Harbhajan Singh, who spent a considerable amount of time in the same dressing room as Dravid, said that it won’t be easy for the current captains of the Indian cricket team, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, to adjust and mould themselves into his new strategies.

    “See, the combination will obviously take some time for everyone to adjust to new things, new processes that Rahul will bring onto the table and I think the triangle of these three is joined to one another, Rahul with Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. I think they should be working together and take Indian cricket to new heights,” Harbhajan said on Star Sports.

    Predicting the biggest hallmark of Dravid’s tenure, ‘The Turbanator’ said that the former India skipper would ensure that there was no unfair treatment with any of the players and they get a long rope to prove their talent at the highest level.

    Speaking of his former teammate he said that he would “bring a lot of stability to the team” by making sure that the players are not insecure of their positions in the team.

    “With Rahul coming in, I can tell you that players will be given a lot of assurance. Players will be given good chances, there won't be any unfair treatment and you’ll be left out of the team, they will be given proper opportunities and that’s what Rahul Dravid will bring onto the table. He will bring a lot of stability to the team.”

    Having played at the highest level for so many years, Dravid is well aware how important it is for players to get the assurance from their coach and their captain that their position in the team is not under threat.

    It helps the players go out and express themselves with full freedom without worrying about external factors. That’s why when Dravid and Rohit, during their joint press-conference before the New Zealand T20Is, emphasised on the same and highlighted that it would be their combined responsibility to make players feel secure.

    When players worry too much about their place in the team, it becomes extremely difficult for them to go out and perform. We have seen many times that players become selfish and start playing against their natural flair which eventually affects the team’s overall performance.

    This one change might not appear as big from the outset but if implemented properly it has the ability to change the face of Indian cricket forever.

    Now, he is all set to entertain fans with his upcoming movie wherein he will be seen essaying the role of Bob Biswas, in a spin-off movie with the same title, inspired by Bengali actor Saswata Chatterjee's character in Vidya Balan's 2012 film Kahaani.

    Speaking about his preparation, Abhishek revealed that he had gained extra kilos and was stuck with it when the film's shoot came to a halt due to lockdown. He told India Today in an interview, “I mean to put on the weight obviously shooting in Kolkata in winter when you can have Gud Sandesh and all the wonderful sweet food that Kolkata has, but mentally I got stuck because we had to shut down our shoot halfway through because of the lockdown and we were about 80 percent complete. And, we had another 10-15 days of work left. Throughout the lockdown, I had to maintain that weight. That was tough.”

    He went on to add, “I became between 100-105 kilos during the shoot. And if you see Bob’s face, the face changes when it is round and his cheeks fill up. When you do prosthetics on the cheeks it looks like a prosthetic. So, the stomach moves in a different way. When you have that weight and you are physically carrying that weight your entire performance changes because your body language changes your weight, your movement, your walk, your run, everything changes."
    Helmed by Diya Annapurna Ghosh, the spin-off has been written by Sujoy Ghosh and is all set to release on ZEE5 on December 3, 2021. Apart from Abhishek, the spin-off movie also features Chitrangda Singh and Samara Tijori in pivotal roles.

    Season 15 of reality show Bigg Boss, like most other seasons, is getting popular for two things: ugly fights and a love angle among contestants. This year, Tejasswi and Karan’s chemistry in the house is getting fans’ attention. The two have developed a bond and their relationship is being called ‘Tejran’ by fans.

    However, there seems to be trouble in paradise for the two.In a recent promo clip from an episode of Bigg Boss 15, Karan Kundrra is seen questioning Tejasswi Prakash about her feelings for another contestant Vishal Kotian. He says, “Tere ko usmein aisa kya dikha hai? Jab tujhe maloom hai jo sabke baare mein bakwas karta hai (What do you see in him? You know he back talks rubbish about everyone.)”

    Tejasswi tells him that she doesn’t react to what people say about others. “Mein logon ki kahi suni baaton pe react karne walon mein se nahi hun”, she said, adding, “Tujhe mein sahi lagun ya na lagun, mujhe pata hai ki mein sahi hun. Ultimately yeh tere uper hai. Tujhe jo sochna hai tu woh soch or tujhe jo karna hai woh tu kar. (I don't care if you think I am wrong, I know I am not. Ultimately, it's on you if you think I am wrong, you can think and do whatever you feel like.)”

    She then tells him that she is disappointed that he could think like this about her and she would never do the same to her partner. Karan then says, “If you will react like this then I will drift apart", to which Tejasswi says, “I will also drift apart then.”

    Karan’s behaviour is not sitting well with the audience and they are comparing him with Shahid Kapoor’s titular character from the movie Kabir Singh where he plays a toxic and possessive boyfriend.

    A user wrote,  “Karan's possessiveness is really creepy man. Sasta Kabir Singh vibes.” Another commented, “Press wale called Teja dominating, for advising Karan but Karan is being praised as ‘Kabir Singh’ for his possessiveness. I mean I like Karan but if this is his attitude towards a relationship, then the line dividing healthy and toxic is thinning.”

    Apparently, Karan admitted that he is possessive about Tejasswi but questioning her on national television and question her about what she sees in him, not to mention walking away, is borderline creepy and controlling.

    Shahid Kapoor entered the film industry in 2003 with Ishq Vishq and has indeed come a long way in the last 18 years. After going through a rough patch initially, he proved his mettle as an actor by delivering films like Vivah, Jab We Met, Kaminey, Haider, Udta Punjab, Padmaavat among others. However, the resounding success of Kabir Singh established him as one of the most bankable stars of Bollywood. Now, the versatile actor is set to entertain fans with his next film Jersey.
    Yesterday (23 November), the makers finally released the much-awaited trailer of Jersey at an event in Mumbai as the film is set to hit the theatres on 31 December. For the unversed, the movie was ready for a long time, however, the release got delayed as the cinema halls remained shut for several months due to the COVID-19 crisis. 
    At the trailer launch, Shahid talked about finally releasing the film in theatres and praised the makers of Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif's Soorvanshi for having the guts to release the film on the big screen. He revealed that the Jersey team was waiting excitedly for Sooryavanshi to do well at the box office. 
    He said, "One of the team’s really cheering hard for Sooryavanshi was also team Jersey. We all just wanted Sooryavanshi to do well and business kick-starts again, so we all can release our films. It is great to see that films are back in theatres and congratulations to Sooryavanshi for having the guts to go out there and be the first in line".
    Directed by Rohit Shetty, Sooryavanshi was released on 5 November and has crossed the Rs 180 mark at the domestic box office. The cop drama is still doing steady business.
    Coming back to his upcoming release, Jersey, Shahid said that the film is about the triumph of the human spirit and has a great context for today's time. In fact, it is more relevant today than it was when the team started shooting. 
    Well, the trailer of Jersey is receiving a positive response from cinemagoers and his fans are super-excited for the film's release. 
    Besides the sports drama, the actor has various interesting projects in his kitty. He is currently shooting for Ali Abbas Zafar's untitled thriller and has also signed an action movie titled Bull in which he will be seen as a paratrooper. It marks the reunion of Shahid and producer Bhushan Kumar onscreen after the humongous success of their last outing Kabir Singh. The movie is slated to release on 7 April, 2023. 
    Also, he has completed the shooting for Raj and DK's upcoming web series for Amazon Prime Video. It marks the digital debut of Shahid and also features Vijay Sethupathi and Rashi Khanna in pivotal roles.

    Former cricketer and current BJP politician Gautam Gambhir has reached out to the Delhi Police and requested them to file an FIR and beef up security arrangements outside his house after he received an alleged email from ‘ISIS Kashmir’, threatening to kill him and his family members.

    The former India opener, who is currently a Member of Parliament from the East Delhi constituency, received the alleged email on his official email ID on Tuesday night at 9:32 pm and his team soon reached out to the Delhi Police and urged them to take necessary action.

    As per the officials, the threat mail that Gambhir received read: “We are going to kill you and your family”.

    “This is further to our telecommunication, we have received an email from ISIS Kashmir on the official email ID of Gautam Gambhir on Tuesday evening. The mail states death threat to MP and his family. I therefore request you to look into the matter and make adequate security arrangement,” read a letter sent to DCP central district written by Gaurav Arora, PS to Gambhir.

    After receiving the complaint, the Delhi Police filed the FIR and tightened the security arrangements outside the BJP MP’s house. Moreover, the special cyber cell of Delhi Police has launched an investigation into the matter to trace the source of the mail and nab the culprits.

    “Gautam Gambhir has approached the Delhi Police, alleging he has received death threats from 'ISIS Kashmir'. The investigation is under way. Security has been beefed up outside Gambhir's residence,” said Shweta Chauhan, DCP central.
    Gambhir was not the only to have received such threats, several other notable personalities also received a similar email from the same source giving death threats.
