Kartik Aaryan, who is looking forward to the release of his much-awaited Netflix film Dhamaka, was all over the news post his controversial exit from Karan Johar's production venture Dostana 2. The young star was signed to play one of the lead roles opposite Janhvi Kapoor in the much-hyped sequel to Dostana which was released in 2008. However, KJo later announced Kartik's exit from the movie without citing any particular reason. This led to various theories and some of them even portrayed the Luka Chuppi actor in a negative light.
Recently, while promoting Dhamaka during an interview with RJ Siddharth Kanan, the actor finally opened up about the negativity that he faced after his exit from Dostana 2 and revealed that it affected his family. At times, he even had to sit down and explain the whole situation to his mother.
Kartik said, "A lot of times you ask yourself, ‘Why is this happening?’ But more than myself, I feel for my family, because they don’t belong to this world”.
“I belong to this industry, so I know that as long as you concentrate on your work, nothing else matters. But my family gets affected, and that’s the only thing I get worried about. Other than that, it doesn’t matter," he added.
On the professional front, Kartik has various interesting projects in his kitty. He's all set to make his digital debut with Dhamaka which will premiere on Netflix on 19 November. The film revolves around an ex-news anchor Arjun Pathak (Kartik Aaryan) who gets a chance to return to primetime TV after a terrorist informs him about a bomb threat over a call. However, he has no idea that the phone call is going to affect his whole life and he himself will play a crucial role in this game of betrayal. Directed by Neerja fame Ram Madhavni, the movie also features Mrunal Thakur and Amruta Subhash in prominent roles.
Also, the actor has wrapped up Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 co-starring Kiara Advani and Tabu, whereas, he is working on Freddy opposite Alaya F and Shehzada with Kriti Sanon as well.
Talking about Dostana 2, the makers are yet to announce the new cast of the film.

In a world where digital media makes up most of our lives, it’s easier to just hide behind the laptop screens and share your meanest opinions without the fear of being caught. This is increasingly becoming the sad reality of the world we are living in. Just the day before yesterday, Vir Das’ video started to go viral wherein he delivered a monologue as part of his recent performance at the John F Kennedy Centre in Washington DC. He uploaded a video on Instagram, titled ‘I Come From Two Indias’.
    View this post on Instagram
It was only a matter of hours after he uploaded the video that he started trending on Twitter with many social media users calling him out for insulting the country. He was termed a ‘traitor’ and people didn’t approve of his act. In the video, he is heard talking about the duality of the country. He mentions topical issues India is grappling with including the battle against COVID-19. Vir talks about how Bollywood divides the nation on Twitter and ironically unites the audience in the theatres. He mentions how women are worshipped in the day and gang-raped at night. Vir is also heard talking about the crackdown against comedians, lack of information about the PM CARES fund and does not forget to mention the farmers' protests. He also mentions that some might find it a gigantic joke but it’s not.
People were offended by his monologue and a complaint was registered against the comedian. Not just Vir Das, we have found out five more Indian comedians who have landed in trouble for their acts in the past.
    1. Munawar Faruqui  View this post on Instagram
On January 1, 2021, standup comedian Munawar Faruqui was arrested for a show in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. He was booked under various IPC sections including 295A, which relates to “deliberate and malicious intention of outraging the religious feelings.”
Town Inspector of Tukaganj Police Station Kamlesh Sharma had told The Indian Express that they had no evidence against Faruqui directly and that he had been booked as an organizer. “There’s no evidence against him for insulting Hindu deities or Union Minister Amit Shah,” he said.
The comedian has been a target of Hindutva groups for the past year. Last month, two shows featuring Faruqui were canceled after members of Bajrang Dal traveled from Gujarat to Mumbai and threatened the venue owners. They feel he has mocked Lord Rama in his previous videos and hence, they want to get all of his shows canceled.
    2. Kunal KamraKunal Kamra has always been in the news for his controversial tweets. He faced contempt charges over a series of tweets criticizing the Supreme Court for granting TV anchor Arnab Goswami interim bail.
Here’s one of the tweets that got him in trouble:

    3. Agrima Joshua View this post on Instagram
Mumbai-based stand-up comedian Agrima Joshua landed in big trouble after she joked about Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in a standup gig. She even received rape and death threats because of a harmless joke.
Swara Bhasker came out in support of her and also shared the video of the comedian’s act.
    Here’s the video:

    4. Kiku Sharda View this post on Instagram
Comedy Nights With Kapil actor Kiku Sharda was arrested for mimicking Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh on his show. He was arrested for allegedly hurting the sentiments of the self-styled godman’s followers. Kiku was booked on December 31 under section 295 A of the Indian Penal Code (outraging religious feelings of any class by insulting its religion or religious belief). Kiku Sharda was sent to 14-day judicial custody after police produced him before the court of Nandita Kaushik, Chief Judicial Magistrate in Kaithal. But, he was granted bail in this case.
    5. Tanmay Bhat  View this post on Instagram
Tanmay Bhat got in major trouble after he used an app called Face Swap, which allows users to “borrow” another person’s face, for creating two videos titled Sachin Vs Lata #Civilwar that agitated followers of both the singer and the cricketer. Police complaints were filed against Bhat by Maharashtra's ruling BJP and also Raj Thackeray's Maharashtra Navnirman Sena.

Shrugging off the T20 World Cup heartbreak, Team India returned back to winning ways as they defeated New Zealand by five wickets in Jaipur.
The Kiwis, who had landed in India a couple of days back after participating in the final of the multi-nation event in the UAE, came out with purpose but the Men In Blue proved their supremacy in all three departments of the game.

There were plenty of talking points throughout the match but the ‘Best Moment of the Match’ award went to Deepak Chahar for staring at New Zealand opener Martin Guptill, after picking up his wicket, which left the fans biting their teeth.
The reason behind Chahar’s animated send-off lies in what happened on the first ball of the 18th over of the innings. Guptill dispatched Chahar’s delivery deep into the stands for a 98-meter six a ball before.

Such was his confidence that he didn’t even bother looking at the ball and instead gave the bowler a solid stare for a couple of seconds. That’s why when the medium pacer got him caught at the hands of Shreyas Iyer at deep mid-wicket on the next ball, he returned the favour and gave him a stare as the Kiwi opener began his long march back to the pavilion.

Earlier, there used to be only one Player of the Match award but to accommodate the multiple sponsors, the BCCI introduced a variety of awards in the IPL and has introduced the same to bi-lateral series as well.

After the match the fans took to the micro-blogging site to criticise such useless prizes which have zero significance to the match.
Some of the fans raised objection against the number of awards that are being handed out after each match while others asked what the board was trying to prove by rewarding a bowler's animated send-off with a trophy.

    — Aghori Archer (@Rocky33852616) November 17, 2021To be honest, people loved the fact that it was all done in good spirits, with neither Guptill nor Deepak Chahar crossing the line during this incident. Fans loved the fact that both the players showed aggression but there was no malice in their action.
However, most of the supporters felt that awarding such an incidence was a bit too much and there were several other glorious cricket moments that were worthy of winning the ‘best moment’ award.

Had the team of commentators picked any of these events and awarded it with this ‘best moment’ award, we are sure nobody would have complained.

Pakistan Cricket Board chair Ramiz Raja compares the security measures of his country with that of the Indian Premier League and says that he will be fine with any of the teams who wish to drop out of the Champions Trophy 2025 tournament being hosted there.
“There's no insecurity of any team stepping down from CT 2025. Cricket should be played in relax environment. Security doesn't mean to closedown everything. World admits Pakistan has best security. Experts claim Pakistan has better security than IPL," Raja said, according to GeoNews journalist Arfa Feroz Zake.
Chairman PCB Ramiz Raja "There's no insecurity of any team stepping down from CT 2025. Cricket should be played in relax environment. Security doesn't mean to closedown everything. World admits Pakistan has best security. Experts claim Pakistan has better security than IPL"
    — Arfa Feroz Zake (@ArfaSays_) November 17, 2021
The year 2021 was supposed to be that of prosperity and success of international cricket in Pakistan as some of the most famous teams in the world were supposed to tour the country for bilateral series. This would not only have added to the Pakistani economy significantly but would have also boosted the morale of their fans.

However, earlier this year, just before the New Zealanad squad was about to begin its tour, cricketer Martin Guptill’s wife received a security threat about her husband which lead to the entire roster backing out at the last minute.

    — Government of Pakistan (@GovtofPakistan) September 22, 2021
To add insult to injury, it did not take long for England, the next big team scheduled to travel to Pakistan, to back out as well, quoting their players’ unwillingness to go for the tour and because of the concerns over “mental and physical wellbeing”.
Having said that, the T20 World Cup 2021 champions, Team Australia has confirmed that they will be visiting Pakistan for a three-Test and a three-ODI series in March and April 2022. This will the the Aussies’ first tour of the country since 1998.
Pakistan was unable to host any international cricket events on their home turf between 2009 and 2019 after a terror attack took place in the middle of a Sri Lankan tour. The team bus was ambushed by gunmen in Lahore on March 3, 2009.

However, since then the experts have suggested that the country has become a relatively safer place. Poetically, it was the Sri Lankan squad that returned to Pakistan after 10 long years to play the first Test on domestic soil in a decade.

It is great that Pakistan will finally be able to host an ICC event once again. Hopes are high about the security measures that will be put in place. However, the need for comparing themselves with the exponentially safer Indian Premier League remains unnecessary and that fans were unable to wrap their heads around why Ramiz Raja would do so in the first place.
Why is Pakistan so obsessed with ipl? You will be hosting CT 2025 congratulations. Why do you guys have to bring ipl and India in every little thing?

The new era of the Indian cricket team began with a solid win against New Zealand in the first of three T20I matches of the series. A lot of eyes were fixated on the duo of the newly appointed head coach Rahul Dravid and Rohit Sharma - who has just replaced Virat Kohli as the team captain in the shortest format of the game.
    View this post on Instagram
After winning the match by five wickets and two balls to spare against the T20 World Cup 2021 runners-up, the Men in Blue have taken a 1-0 advantage. Their victory was also backed by a 48(36) innings by the skipper and a ‘Player of the Match’ winning contribution by Suryakumar Yadav for his incredible 62(40) run innings while batting at the number three spot, filling in for Kohli, who has been rested for the entire New Zealand tour.
Former Indian cricketer and commentator Irfan Pathan lauded the new Dravid-Sharma duo that has come in power for “bringing to the table” something extremely basic and must-required for any team to thrive at a high level - clear communication.
Speaking from personal experience, one thing that #RahulDravid and #RohitSharma will bring to the table is CLEAR COMMUNICATION.
    — Irfan Pathan (@IrfanPathan) November 17, 2021
“Speaking from personal experience, one thing that #RahulDravid and #RohitSharma will bring to the table is CLEAR COMMUNICATION,” Pathan wrote from his official Twitter handle at the end of the India’s glorious night.
Fans were quick to read between the lines and asked Pathan asked him why he had not said anything about a lack of communication back when Ravi Shastri was the head coach and Virat Kohli, the captain?
Can't remember U denouncing Virat/ Shastri combo about your so called lack of 'clear' communication! Why now suddenly? Don't paint bad on Virat, right! MSK Prasad,as chief of selector, was very good in explaining team selection and may be you gotta target Chetan for communication!
    — Vijayakumar.K (@Vijayakumar1959) November 17, 2021Can't criticize directly so these blue tick accounts choose indirect routes to criticize big names like kohli and Dhoni .
    Lovely
    — Professor samuel oak (@prof_oak123) November 17, 2021You mean at the time of @RaviShastriOfc and @imVkohli there was no clear communication ...

This is next level analysis by @IrfanPathan
    — Omkar Burud (@OmkarBurud) November 17, 2021Does that mean there was lack of it in previous tenure...please tell
    — Bala (@Bala42353095) November 17, 2021The end of the Kohli-Shastri era was marked by a disappointing exit by Team India from the Super 12 round of the T20 World Cup 2021. When the Men in Blue lost to the Black Caps in their second match of the tournament, neither Kohli nor Shastri attended the press conference. Instead, they had sent Jasprit Bumrah to face the heat of the media after getting whipped on the field.
Additionally, issues such as the health and fitness status of India’s most important all-rounder during the time of the World Cup, Hardik Pandya, was also kept a secret from the public. News of Kohli contemplating resigning from captaincy first reached the audience through leaked reports before the team decided to announce it and make it official. Clearly, there was a lack of clear communication within the dressing room and between the team and the community, it is surrounded by.
    View this post on Instagram
Having said that, it is also true that the Dravid and Sharma combination at the top has gotten the experience of just one match which happened to turn into a victory and hence the first-time public perception is in favour of them. But when it comes to cricket talks in India, the fond memories only last till the time the team is winning matches.

A new-look Team India started its new era under Rohit Sharma and Rahul Dravid with a close five-wicket win over New Zealand at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.
With the change in captaincy, India’s luck with the toss also changed with the ‘Hitman’ winning the toss and opting to bowl. The Indian bowling unit did well to restrict the visitors to a below-par total of 164/6. After a flying start, Indian lost momentum in the middle overs but eventually they crossed the finish line, with the winning boundary coming on Rishabh Pant’s willow in the final over.

The platform for India’s run chase was laid out by skipper Rohit Sharma, who missed out on a well-deserved half-century, getting out on 48 off 36 balls trying to pull his IPL teammate Trent Boult for a maximum but was caught at the fence.
Another player who played a crucial role in India’s five-wicket triumph was Suryakumar Yadav, who came in to bat at number three in Virat Kohli’s absence and made the spot his own.

He took calculated risks throughout his innings that lasted 40 deliveries and didn’t allow the Kiwi bowlers to dominate the proceeding in the middle overs. After completing his half-century, he was given a lifeline with Boult dropping his catch on 57.
The finesse with which Suryakumar batted in Jaipur made fans and experts stand up and applaud his skills. He timed the ball beautifully, found gaps at will, used his feet to unsettle the NZ spinners and took the aerial route at regular intervals, which all made for an exciting watch.

All in all his performance brought a lot of joy on the faces of fans and experts alike and some even started demanding that he would be given the permanent number three position in India’s T20 side.
Among them was former India opener Gautam Gambhir who advocated for SKY to bat permanently at one down and suggested former skipper Virat Kohli, who scored tons of runs batting at number three in international cricket, should come down at number four.
Gambhir said "I want Suryakumar Yadav at 3 and Virat Kohli at 4 moving forward into the T20 World Cup 2022 - Kohli should get the middle order together".
    — Johns. (@CricCrazyJohns) November 17, 2021
“I want Suryakumar Yadav at 3 and Virat Kohli at 4 moving forward into the T20 World Cup 2022. Kohli should get the middle order together,” Gambhir said on Star Sports’ post-match show.
Gambhir’s suggestion evoked mixed reactions from the cricket aficionados. Some fans agreed with his advice saying it would help the Men In Blue in the middle overs as Suryakumar Yadav is a good player of spin bowling.
It's good opinion sky can play aggressively at 1down and if wkt gone early virat was there to save this is a good move when our top 3(rohit,kl,virat) player gone early we collapse badly we can use sky like Australia use marsh
    — Mohit Sahare (@mohit_sahare19) November 17, 2021It could work honestly. It would also give Virat more freedom. I feel at 3 he gets too caged, especially in this t20 side
He should either open or come at 4
    — K.Shah (@kshitijshah23) November 17, 2021However, Kohli fans felt that making this template permanent wouldn’t make any sense as both Kohli and Surya are right-handed batters and wouldn't solve India’s middle-order problem.
Listening to Gambhir’s ‘unsolicited’ gyan, some fans got really angry and urged the former opener to mind his own business.
Thank u gambhir for ur gyan. It's not required
    — Aryan Singh (@AryanSi79779749) November 17, 2021We know na what happened when vk came at 4 vs nz. His spot must be no 3. Surya also can play at 4. Also no 3 player should anchor the innings. Like virat vs pakistan

If he wants surya to face more balls let Rohit go to 4
    — Krishna (@krisbangalore95) November 17, 2021Kohli has done nothing wrong to be removed from no.3.He is the best player as well as best anchor and experienced as well.He will be our no.3

    — Chillz (@Logic75_) November 18, 2021What's wrong with @imVkohli batting at 3 if he keeps performing well. Kohli is way more important than @surya_14kumar when it comes to pressuring situations
    — Vinay Gamit (@gvinay0) November 17, 2021I think virat is perfect at 3 and surya at 4 bcoz surya dont need much balls to get going but virat need 10-15 balls, so virat at 3 is suitable for team
    — Bhavesh Bafana (@fantasy11circle) November 17, 2021Gambhir might have seen in Surya’s performance what most of us couldn't and that’s why he made such a huge change in the Indian batting line up.
That said, since ages we have been told that irrespective of the format your best batters should always get to face the maximum number of deliveries and Kohli certainly is the most skilled batter in the team, there is no two ways about it.
    © Twitter/Virat Kohli
As for SKY, he has done well in whatever limited opportunities he has got. Having said that, there is no second Kohli on this planet and experts like Gambhir must know that.

There is this famous dialogue in the movie - Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, when Saba (Aishwarya Rai) and Ayaan (Ranbir Kapoor) bump into Tahir aka Saba’s ex, played by the ever charming Shah Rukh Khan at an art exhibit.
Despite his cameo in the movie not lasting for more than 5 minutes, SRK managed to create some magic on the screen with the intensity in which he delivered his dialogues. Perhaps that is why, the first time I heard it, I didn’t pay much attention to what he was saying as opposed to how he was saying it.
    © Dharma Productions
However, upon a third or a fourth watch, as I paid a tad bit more attention, I realised that the words coming out of his character’s mouth were nothing more than typical bollywood bullsh*t that called ek tarfa pyaar (unrequited love) ‘the most beautiful feeling in the world’.

Well, guess what? It’s not. In fact, it is the worst feeling in the world right after period cramps and stubbing your toe.
Just the thought of not being loved back by the one person you’ve so madly and deeply fallen for, can be traumatising and very painful.

    via GIPHY
Oftentimes it doesn’t just make you question your self-worth but also your mere existence without love in the world. Which is why when Shahrukh Khan endorsed the power of one-sided love, we wanted to smack him right in the face. Because it is not a feeling to hold on, but to gracefully and carefully let go of.
And these tips might just be able to help with that.
    1) Out Of Sight, Out Of Mind
    via GIPHY
Despite the annoying overuse of the phrase by friends, family and Bollywood, this is one advice that still works like a charm. The longer you tend to keep your unrequited lover  in your sights, the more you’d think about them and continue getting drawn to them. Stop following them on social media, don’t try to “accidentally” bump into them at places you know they’re going to be there. Give yourself some time to get them out of the system at least until you feel more in control.
    2) Don’t Go Into Denial
    via GIPHY
The stages of getting over someone who didn’t love you back are pretty much similar to that of grief after breaking up. And most of the time, it starts with going into denial about the situation. Give yourself time to accept that things aren’t working out, because the longer you try to ignore the truth, the longer it takes you to get over them and gain back control over your life.
After all, the only way out is through.
    3) Tell Your Crush You Need Space
    via GIPHY
If the person you’re trying to get over already knows of your feelings, it is best to be upfront about your situation and tell them how you need them to back off  and give you some space. It might just take some stress off of you as they take a step back and let you get over it in your own sweet time.
    4) Consider Talking To A Professional © iStock
If you feel that despite your best attempts at getting them out of your mind, yu constantly feel pulled back to their thoughts, it might be a good idea to talk to a professional about it, Not because you’re in trouble but because they’re equipped at handling complex emotional situations and would know just how to navigate through this tricky labyrinth.

Recently, Rafiq also opened up about how the Indian Test cricket maestro Cheteshwar Pujara had also faced discrimination while playing county cricket in England and was “given” an English name simply because they found it too difficult to call him by his real first name.

"Not only Jack, the coaches, the media, Yorkshire Post, Yorkshire website, Yorkshire twitter page, commentators around the world, and some high profile people, everyone called him that.
