When you are a celebrity where you are pretty much under the spotlight all the time, no matter how hard you try, privacy is a luxury you cannot always afford.

Actor Akshay Kumar, who is currently riding high on the success of his latest film Sooryavanshi, has been at the centre of quite a few scandalous controversies himself in the past.
Here’s a look at some of the major controversies that dragged his name into the public eye:
    1. The Runway Fiasco
In March 2009, Akshay was on the runway for a denim brand and as a publicity stunt for the new range of denims, he casually walked up to his wife in the front row who then unzipped his pants for him.
This caused a big hue and cry and the couple was booked for obscenity.
    2. Citizenship Controversy
We all know how the actor has always been trolled for being a Canadian before an Indian but back in 2019, when he didn’t apparently cast a vote during the Lok Sabha elections, people criticised him for being a Canadian passport holder and making movies on topics aligned to national importance.
“I really don’t understand the unwarranted interest and negativity about my citizenship. I have never hidden or denied that I hold a Candian passport”, he tweeted back then.
    3. Good Newwz ControversyLast year, when Akshay’s movie Good Newwz was released, a dialogue from the movie caused a major uproar on social media.
In the trailer, a man says, "Mere Bache Ka Naam Hola Ram Hai Kyunki Wo Holi Pe Paida Hua Tha," to which Kumar replied as, "Acha Hua Aapka Bacha Lohri Pe Paida Nahi Hua."
This didn’t go very well with the audience and he was deemed 'irresponsible' and accused of supporting sacrilegious sentiments.
Now akshay kumar directly abusing our Lord ram for cheap humour.

    4. Rustom ControversyWhen Akshay Kumar announced the auctioning of his naval officer uniform from Rustom to support the cause of animal welfare, people on social media called him out for tagging movie costumes as a designated uniform.
The actor later explained his intention behind this and argued it was for a good cause.
Hi all ‍️ I'm thrilled to announce that you can bid to win the actual naval officer uniform I wore in Rustom! Auction's proceeds will support the cause of animal rescue and welfare. Place your bid at https://t.co/6Qr0LRnTFm! pic.twitter.com/FF23tlogs1

    5. Mallika Dua ControversyThe actor was called out by Malika Dua for 'inappropriate behaviour' on a comedy show after he said “aap bell bajao, main aapko bajata huun”.
The actor was also called out on social media by her father, journalist Vinod Dua.

In addition to this, the actor’s latest movie Sooryavanshi was banned in Hoshiarpur after farmers protested its viewing owing to the fact that he’s been quiet and unsupportive during the ongoing farmers protest.

Ekta Kapoor is one of the most powerful people in Indian cinema. In fact, she really is a brand by herself. After starting out as just the daughter of Jeetendra, a very popular and successful Bollywood actor, Ekta has gone on to build a dynasty all by herself.
The Bollywood film producer, tv producer, and director currently works as the Joint Managing Director and Creative Head of Balaji Telefilms Limited and is really the reason why your mom is addicted to Indian soaps so much.
    © Twitter
The 46-year-old is known to be one of the best in business when it comes to making ridiculously addicted TV serials targeted at a certain audience. However, did you know that she is also known as someone who would attack film heroines? Well, we're sure you didn't. Till now.

Ekta herself admitted to it just recently, and it looks like something she did a lot.
While speaking on The Kapil Sharma Show along with father Jeetendra, Ekta described how she'd actually do it on her father's movie sets when she was younger. “I was very possessive about papa. Main papa ko kisi ke saath shooting karne nahi deti thi (I used to not let him shoot with anyone). They used to not let me go on his set because I could attack his heroines. I was so jealous, ki mere papa ke saath koi kaam nahi karega. Mere father ke saath koi baat kare mujhe bilkul achcha nahi lagta tha (that no one should work with my father. Even if someone else spoke to my father, I did not like it at all).” she told Kapil Sharma.

Back then, Jeetendra, having worked in movies like Farz (1967), Nagin (1976), Dharam Veer (1977), Himmatwala (1983) Tohfa (1984), and Thanedaar (1990), was a truly phenomenal filmstar. However, no one would have expected something like that to happen.

Well, all is well that ends well and we are sure that she has wisened up, otherwise, how would she be running an empire as big as Balaji Telefilms?

Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is one person that is always pretty much in the news, be it for her amazing acting talent or for her infamous habit of having a public spat with anyone and everyone. The 34-year-old actress started young in Bollywood and despite coming from a non-filmy background made a big name for herself by doing a wide range of films that were both successful at the box office and critically acclaimed.
However, despite her success, constant controversies and tiffs with fellow actors and personalities from the Bollywood film industry meant that she was both in and out of Bollywood just in terms of belongingness.

It's fair to say that most in Bollywood would not consider her as part of what they think is their industry, mainly because of how vocal she can be, for the good and for bad reasons. Well, despite that, the actress added another accolade to her list of already overflowing achievements, by winning the Padma Shri award 2020. Kangana was awarded the Padma Shri by Indian President Ram Nath Kovind at a ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi.

Now, you'd expect someone who just won the honorable award to thank her family, friends while having a sense of pride. Well, she kind of did that. But not before doing the most Kangana thing ever!
While sharing the news via an Instagram post, the actress said that she hopes that her winning the prestigious award will surely 'shut the mouths of many people.'
Speaking on her difficult journey, she said in her Instagram video, "I am grateful. When I had started my career at a young age, it took me 8-10 years to taste success. But when I finally became successful, I did not enjoy that but launched myself into other issues. I shunned fairness products, item numbers, working in movies with popular male leads, and with production houses. I made more enemies than I made money."
"People often ask me what do I get by doing all this? Why do I do all this? This is not your job. So this award is my answer to them. Padma Shri ke roop mein jo mujhe sammaan mila hai ye bahut logon ke mooh band karega," she added
Here, take a look at the video to see for yourself.

Now, say what you will for Kangana, one thing that you cannot take away from her is that she is actually not scared of anyone, and is absolutely relentless apart from being super talented as well.

You can always trust Ayushmann Khurrana to up his game with every passing year and he literally never ceases to surprise the audience with his choice of roles.

The trailer for his next movie Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui released today and it has legit blown away the mind of every Ayushmann fan out there.

While the story and the plot are super interesting, it is obvious that Ayushmann is always looking to experiment with bravery and has no qualms in experimenting with his looks and his movie characters.
He plays the role of a ‘desi’ bodybuilder named Manu Munjal in the movie, who falls in love with a Zumba instructor at the gym (played by Vaani Kapoor).
The twist in the tale arrives when he realises that he’s in love with a transwoman, and thus, begins his war of heart vs the mind.
The movie clearly has a social message and the actors have done a fairly good job.
However, one thing that has left the fans in a state of frenzy is his unbelievable physical transformation and his Punjabi accent, which is so freaking on point, given the fact that he is Punjabi himself.

As India gear up for their final group match of the 2021 T20 World Cup, their fate is already sealed. The players who entered the tournament as one of the major title contenders will bow out of the mega event empty-handed.
Virat Kohli, one of the most successful Indian skippers of all-time, will end his T20 captaincy tenure with no trophy in his cabinet. Ravi Shastri and his support staff, under whom the Indian team scaled new heights winning matches all over the world in testing conditions, will end their coaching tenure without any silverware.
    © Twitter BCCI
The ongoing T20 World Cup was their last chance to win an ICC trophy but it all ended in a huge disappointment and many believe that the Indian Premier League (IPL) was the reason that caused the team's early exit from the marquee event.

From fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah to bowling coach Bharat Arun, many have pointed fingers towards bubble fatigue. Speaking at the pre-match conference ahead of the Namibia match, Arun said that a short break between the end of IPL and start of the T20 World Cup would have been an ideal scenario.
If you are also among those who blame the IPL for the team’s flop show, then I urge you to bear with me till the end of this article because I am sure you will also end up changing your mind.
IPL Was Ideal Preparation View this post on Instagram
If you ask any player what they would have liked heading into a big tournament like the T20 World Cup -- a break or match-practice --, I am sure most players would have picked the latter. Having spent over three weeks playing across all three venues in the second phase of the IPL, everybody thought that the Indian players would benefit a lot.
Even the Kiwis like Trent Boult and James Neesham who played in the IPL accepted that playing in the IPL aided their preparation for the competition. It’s strange that something that was considered to be helpful has turned into evil depending on the result.
Poor Team Selection View this post on Instagram
Heading into the tournament, Hardik Pandya’s fitness issue was a major cause of concern but the team management and the selectors persisted with him despite him not being fully fit to fulfill the role of an all-rounder.
With him not bowling, it affected the team’s overall balance but the leadership group still took this gamble and it didn’t pay off. Questions were also raised over the absence of in-form Yuzvendra Chahal who was one of the highest wicket-takers in the IPL 2021. What was baffling was that while most teams featured a leg-spinner in the starting XI, Team India missed this trick, with Rahul Chahar warming the bench.
Unlucky Kohli  View this post on Instagram
First things first, Indian skipper Virat Kohli, who otherwise boasts of an incredible record as a batter and a leader, has a dismal record when it comes to the flip of the coin. It’s a fact that even he is well aware of.
With the dew playing a major role in the UAE, winning the toss did give the team batting second an unfair advantage and it haunted India badly in the first two matches. The IPL had nothing to do with Kohli’s luck and anyway, we are not suggesting that losing the toss was the reason why India lost the match, especially after we saw how MS Dhoni’s CSK won the IPL batting first.
Batters’ Flop Show View this post on Instagram
Toss is not something that a player can control. The only thing that is under their control is how they perform on the field and the Indian batters failed to do just that. India’s high-profile batting group failed to deliver when it mattered the most, posting below-par totals against both Pakistan and New Zealand.
Against Pakistan, it was their world-class bowling that gave them nightmares but against the Kiwis, it was their poor shot selection that led to their downfall. And once they failed to put enough runs on the board, it became extremely difficult for the bowlers to defend the total, especially with the dew making things easy for the batters in the second innings.

While it’s true that India’s batting unit failed, we should not forget that even the bowlers did nothing exemplary in the first two games, going wicketless in the opening match against arch-rivals Pakistan and picking only two wickets in the next game.
Varun Chakravarthy who was causing all sorts of trouble while he was injured just a week before the start of the tournament, lost his mojo all of a sudden and failed to impress, going wicketless in all three games.

All eyes are on Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal’s December wedding. Their fans have been desperately waiting for the two to officially confirm the same on their social media handles but they have both chosen to be tight-lipped about their relationship.
    View this post on Instagram
As per recent reports, Vicky and Katrina recently had an intimate Roka ceremony. A friend close to the couple told IndiaToday that the special ceremony was held at Katrina’s friend and Ek Tha Tiger director Kabir Khan and Mini Mathur’s home.
Now, the newest development about the two is that they have finally rented a love nest for themselves as they plan to move to an apartment after their wedding. They will be neighbours to another power couple - Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli - who have two floors in the same building.
    View this post on Instagram
As per a report in India Today, Vicky is paying a whopping amount of rent for this apartment. Varun Singh, who heads a real-estate portal, told the entertainment portal, “Vicky has rented an apartment in Juhu’s Rajmahal, an ultra-luxurious building, for a period of 60 months, that is 5 years. He rented the 8th-floor apartment in July 2021. The security deposit paid by Vicky Kaushal is close to Rs 1.75 crore and the rent for the initial 36 months is Rs 8 lakh per month. For the next 12 months, it is Rs 8.40 lakh per month, and for the remaining 12 months, Vicky Kaushal will pay a rent of Rs 8.82 lakh per month.”
    Now, this is insanely expensive.
Talking about their Roka, a close friend of the couple told the portal, “It was a beautiful roka. There were lights and decorations and Katrina looked stunning in her lehenga. Since the Diwali dates were an auspicious muhurat, the families decided to go ahead with the ceremony. Kabir and Mini are almost like family to Katrina and they were the most gracious hosts.”
They will be reportedly tying the knot at Six Senses Fort Barwara, a resort in Sawai Madhopur, located just 30 minutes away from Ranthambore National Park in Rajasthan.
    View this post on Instagram
There’s a twist here too as no wedding invites have been rolled out yet since the couple is concerned about the fact that details of their wedding venue have already been leaked and they might think about changing it.
Well, we are eagerly waiting for their official announcement. What about you?

Bollywood celebrities, thanks to the kind of life they lead - always in the public eye, are by this time well-trained on how to proceed and conduct themselves with utmost grace and dignity.
Whether it is another celebrity taking a dig at them or a journalist making them uncomfortable with his probing questions, Bollywood actors and actresses have managed to grow a thick skin and control their temper, over time of course.
    © Twitter
But considering they’re only humans, there have been times when even the most civilised and poised celebrities have lost their calm on fans who tried to invade their space and overstepped their boundaries.

Here’s a look at a few celebrities who lost their temper with their fans:
    1) Salman Khan View this post on Instagram
At a recent promotional event for the actor’s upcoming film - Antim, Salman was peacefully posing for pictures when a fan kept trying to get a picture clicked with him.
Obliging the request, Salman Khan agreed to pose with him for the paparazzi that were already clicking their pictures, however, the fan insisted on a selfie and kept trying to shove himself in Salman’s private space.
It is then when the actor was irked and was heard saying, “Naachna band kar (stop dancing around),” which is when the fan finally stopped.
    2) Priyanka Chopra © Twitter
Global sensation Priyanka Chopra who enjoys one of the biggest fan following both online and offline, has too, had her own run-ins with fans who have overstepped their boundaries with her.

Once while she was promoting her film Jai Gangaajal the actress revealed how she quite literally slapped a fan after he held her from both her arms, insisting on getting pictures clicked, right after she stepped out from her RV.
PeeCee shared just how scared and startled she got with someone physically touching her without her permission, and so she ended up slapping him.
    3) John Abraham © Twitter
The Dhoom star who is famous amongst his female fan base, got a shocking reaction from a woman while he was out inaugurating a jewellery showroom in Mangalore.

As the star was greeted with tons of women going crazy after just seeing him in person, one female fan, in particular, was so overwhelmed, that she bit his hand just to make sure that he was in fact real and standing in front of her.
Taken aback by being bitten, John instantly reacted with a slap on the fan’s face.
    4) Ranveer Singh © Twitter
An otherwise jolly and kind-hearted actor, Ranveer Singh is known for being courteous and compliant when it comes to taking pictures with fans and greeting them nicely.

However, one of these times as fans started to mob the Padmavat actor, Ranveer Singh was seen pushing fans away who were barging in to click selfies, without requesting permission or giving him enough space.
    5) Jaya Bachchan © Twitter
The famous and veteran actress who has appeared in movies like Sholay and Kal Ho Naa Ho, Jaya Bachchan often finds herself losing her calm as fans keep clicking unauthorised pictures of her in public.

She is often seen reprimanding fans and paparazzi for waltzing in and clicking pictures without seeking her approval.
    6) Shah Rukh Khan © Twitter
The king of Bollywood, who is also known for having the biggest heart, is very good with fans except for a few times when he felt attacked and ended up pushing back a fan or two.

While the actor was shooting in Amsterdam for a movie, he was approached by a fan who reportedly got too close to SRK for his own safety and was ultimately pushed away by the actor himself, who got really pissed at the fan’s audacity.
Basically, being a fan does not give one a right to get all up in the personal space of a star. Everyone deserves privacy and respect, including celebrities.

We’ve seen him essay the role of a small-town boy, a sperm donor, a man suffering from erectile dysfunction and even a proud homosexual.
One would think that they’ve seen all 50 shades of Ayushmann Khurrana in his last bunch of movies, but nope.
The actor knows how to surprise you and has yet again, not disappointed, as he comes with the trailer of his upcoming movie - Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui.
    View this post on Instagram
Starring ace actor Ayushmann Khurrana alongside Befikre actress Vaani Kapoor, this movie is as typical as an Ayushmann Khurrana movie can be. And by that we mean - promising, fun, entertaining and with an unconventional plot twist.

We are looking at Ayushmann playing the role of a rather convincing cross-functional athlete by the name of Manu who is based out of Chandigarh (Ayushmann’s very own city).
From talking about squats at the dinner table to thinking more about his body than his future, Manu comes across as this typical weight-lifter, obsessed with fitness, who lives a rather linear and black and white life.
That is until he meets Maanvi Brar aka Vaani Kapoor and inevitably falls in love with her.
From exciting dialogues to the near-perfect imitation of a couple from Chandigarh, the two actors brew some gripping chemistry on screen.
    View this post on Instagram
And just when, as a viewer, you’d think you know exactly where the plot is headed, you’d be left as stunned as Ayushmann’s character in the movie.
Turns out, Maanvi isn’t who Manu thought he was. Well, not exactly...considering Maanvi Brar is a transgender and Manu, well, is simply in denial. Or so we assume from what we saw!
The three-minute trailer takes us on a rollercoaster ride in the lives of Manu and Maanvi who struggle to find their way through this romantic drama, giving us way more than just Vaani Kapoor’s toned body or Ayushmann Khurrana’s shredded shoulders to look at. Although, that is pretty hard to miss!
    © Twitter
The movie is said to have been shot during the time of the pandemic and with all precautions once the lockdown was lifted.

It is supposed to hit the theatres in December and it would be safe to say, we’re all already waiting with bated breath for this off-beat love story.

India’s disappointing run in the T20 World Cup has raised many eyebrows. Fans and experts have come up with their own reasons, explaining what caused the team's below-par performance in the tournament.
Whether it was due to the bio-bubble fatigue or Virat Kohli’s luck not favouring him at the toss or the batting unit’s collective failure in the first two matches, the reason varies from person to person and there's no consensus.
    © Twitter BCCI
After India lost to New Zealand by eight wickets, there was a huge uproar on social media, with fans showing their outrage against the BCCI and the IPL for ruining India’s hopes of winning the ICC trophy even before the tournament had commenced.

Not just the fans, fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah and bowling coach Bharat Arun have come out in public and raised a question over the team's tight schedules, which has seen them play non-stop cricket in the last six months, while living in strict to moderate bio-bubbles.
    © Twitter ICC
“Sometimes you need a break. You miss your family sometimes. You’ve been on the road for six months. So all of that sometimes play(s) on the back of your mind. But when you’re on the field, you don’t think of all those things. You don’t control a lot of things, how the scheduling goes on or what tournament is played when. So obviously staying in a bubble and staying away from your family for such a long period of time does play a role on the player’s mind as well,” Bumrah said after India lost to the Kiwis.

“Being on the road for six months is a huge ask, the players have not gone home ever since they had a short break after the last IPL. They are in a bubble for the last six months, which takes a huge toll. So very specific to your question, a short break between the IPL and World Cup would have done a lot of good for these boys,” Arun said ahead of the last Namibia encounter.
    © Twitter BCCI
With Bumrah and bowling coach Bharat Arun raising the issue of bubble fatigue and questioning the busy schedule, it has left the BCCI office bearers fuming, who think that they did everything to ensure the well-being of the players, providing them with the best facilities and even allowing their families to stay with them.

According to a report published in InsideSport, the BCCI is disappointed with their comments and a senior official has slammed the players, saying that if bubble fatigue was really an issue and they wanted a break, they could have withdrawn from the IPL like many international players from England and Australia did.
    © Twitter IPL
“As far as bio-bubble fatigue is concerned, players are not forced to play in the IPL. If Virat or Jasprit thought World Cup was more important, they could have withdrawn from IPL. BCCI provided them with all the facilities and has allowed families to be with them. We are all in a difficult time due to Covid,” a senior BCCI official told InsideSport.

Be it bubble fatigue or blaming the toss, many experts like Harbhajan Singh and Sunil Gavaskar feel that nothing explains the team’s shoddy performance in the first two matches.
    © Twitter
Both the legends of the game feel that having spent the last two months in the UAE should have helped the Indian players acclimatise to the conditions better than those who were not part of the IPL. But somehow it wasn’t the case and the players are now only using bubble fatigue as an excuse to divert the attention of fans from their shoddy performance.
