Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is one person that is always pretty much in the news, be it for her amazing acting talent or for her infamous habit of having a public spat with anyone and everyone. The 34-year-old actress started young in Bollywood and despite coming from a non-filmy background made a big name for herself by doing a wide range of films that were both successful at the box office and critically acclaimed.

However, despite her success, constant controversies and tiffs with fellow actors and personalities from the Bollywood film industry meant that she was both in and out of Bollywood just in terms of belongingness.

It's fair to say that most in Bollywood would not consider her as part of what they think is their industry, mainly because of how vocal she can be, for the good and for bad reasons. Well, despite that, the actress added another accolade to her list of already overflowing achievements, by winning the Padma Shri award 2020. Kangana was awarded the Padma Shri by Indian President Ram Nath Kovind at a ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi.

Now, you'd expect someone who just won the honorable award to thank her family, friends while having a sense of pride. Well, she kind of did that. But not before doing the most Kangana thing ever!

While sharing the news via an Instagram post, the actress said that she hopes that her winning the prestigious award will surely 'shut the mouths of many people.' 

Speaking on her difficult journey, she said in her Instagram video, "I am grateful. When I had started my career at a young age, it took me 8-10 years to taste success. But when I finally became successful, I did not enjoy that but launched myself into other issues. I shunned fairness products, item numbers, working in movies with popular male leads, and with production houses. I made more enemies than I made money."

"People often ask me what do I get by doing all this? Why do I do all this? This is not your job. So this award is my answer to them. Padma Shri ke roop mein jo mujhe sammaan mila hai ye bahut logon ke mooh band karega," she added
