    We all know that over the years, Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi, the child of Bollywood superstars Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan, has gained massive popularity since he was brought into the world.     Ahead of Diwali this year, like every year, brands are trying different strategies to sell their products. To this effect, FabIndia also launched its new collection but it landed in troubled waters as soon as its new advertisement was shared on social media platforms. They released an ad featuring their new collection, titled, ‘Jashn-E-Riwaaz’. People were quick to start bashing the brand for hurting Hindu sentiments.
    FabIndia had tweeted out the collection on October 9, with the post, “As we welcome the festival of love and light, Jashn-e-Riwaaz, by FabIndia is a collection that beautifully pays homage to Indian culture.” The ad was beautifully shot and the message was loud and clear that India is a country of diverse cultures but it backfired at the brand because of the name.
    The hashtag #boycottFabIndia started to trend on Twitter, with many people asking for the brand to shut down its operations. After this fiasco, the brand removed the tweet and even pulled down the ad.

    Now, Javed Akhtar, who is known for being vocal on various issues, has shared his opinion on the row and called it "crazy". He wrote on Twitter, "I failed to understand why some people have any problem with FabIndia’s Jashn- e- Riwaj . Which in English means nothing but “a celebration of tradition” how and why anybody can have a problem with that . It is crazy.”

    The lyricist is not new to trolling and this time is no different either. People are brutally trolling him for siding with the brand, with some asking him to change his name to Amar. 

    One of the users wrote, “Their problem is right there in your tweet, sir. Their problem is the usage of language. They wouldn't have a problem if the tagline was in simple English, "Celebration of Tradition".”  
    Another wrote, “Let's name Eid as Nirih Vadh Diwas. What say? Javed, you can write Diwali or Deepawali in Urdu that's not the issue, changing the name is not acceptable. The soft targeting by Abrahamics will be opposed vehemently.”

    Let’s take a moment and reel back to the year 2001 when Bollywood was at its peak of minting movies that did not make sense, yet a lot of money. And more so, when it started to release movies in a genre that wasn’t just your cliche boy meets girl romance angle.

    One such movie to break Bollywood’s romantic rhythm (and all sense or logic) was the Bobby Deol and Kareena Kapoor starrer film Ajnabee.

    The film starts with both the main protagonists - Raj (Bobby Deol) and Priya (Kareena Kapoor) bumping into each other at every possible place to worship.

    Priya, like the average Indian woman who can’t be too careful of men anywhere, takes Raj to be a stalker and runs from the church, only to be chased all the way to her home.

    When confronted by Priya and her hilariously ill father, who can laugh at cue, it turns out that Raj was not a stalker, but simply religious and was only chasing Priya because the woman ran away with his umbrella.

    From this moment on to the next 5 minutes, all we hear is Priya’s father’s annoying and unbearably loud laughter. The man is literally laughing at anything at this point. 

    Raj : *breathes*
    Father : HAAHHAHAHAHAHA. Good one. HAHAHAHAHA.

    In between this paranoid hysteria, it is found out that Raj was awaiting results from his polo club where he applied for the position of a coach in Switzerland. And to no one’s surprise, Priya’s father turned out to be the chairman of the polo club and obviously selected him for it.

    Not wasting any time Raj asks Priya for a date and over a round of mosambi juice asks her hand for marriage in a rather unsolicited and unromantic way and on the very first date (because who knows there would have been a second).

    Priya, obviously, says yes, because who denies a proposal from a total stranger you thought was a stalker up until 12 hours ago? Jackpot!

    Cut to Switzerland where the couple arrives in a neighbourhood where people are even more annoying than Priya’s father’s laugh. And that is saying a lot.

    They soon get acquainted with the couple living next door, wherein Sonia (Bipasha Basu) is shown as this seductress who likes to play the piano in a silk dress and in all 64 positions devised by the Kamasutra. And Vikram, on the other hand, is this cocky and spying husband who likes to crack uncomfortable jokes to maintain awkwardness in the air.

    The two couples go for a holiday in Mauritius and a couple of hundred songs later, the plot starts to thicken.

    Sonia starts coming on to Raj like a nymphomaniac on the loose and shit finally hits the fan when Vikram puts swinging on the table.

    Raj, who is clearly not okay with swapping wives, ends up getting into a fight with Vikram which cuts their vacation short.

    The two reconcile after a few days and become BFFs again. One such day while celebrating Vikram’s birthday, Raj and Vikram get pissed drunk and he again suggests swapping wives that night.

    By this time we already know Raj’s answer, however, this is where the first twist comes in.

    Raj (despite saying no to Vikram’s proposal), wakes up naked next to Sonia the next morning.

    Sonia is soon found dead and Raj is framed for her murder, consider his prints are found on the murder weapon - a bottle of alcohol. Raj, however, in a fit to prove his innocence, escapes from the court and the police, because it’s apparently just that easy.

    An otherwise poor polo coach now becomes a top tier detective, out to solve the case of his neighbour’s wife. Priya eventually trusts Raj and agrees to help him out, because that’s the cost you pay for marrying a guy whom you knew for all of 7 minutes.

    They sneak into Vikram’s house trying to find evidence but get confronted by Vikram, who reveals how everything was planned (except for the plot of the movie, of course..).

    Showing his cards probably a little too early and calling the police, Vikram chases the couple out of his house who flee away in Vikram’s car.

    In their car, they come across a boarding pass that belonged to Sonia Bajaj, according to which Sonia arrived in Zurich on 29 December - the very night she was supposedly murdered.

    Raj tries to connect dots with the woman he once saw Vikram with in Mauritius. 

    As the desperate couple travels to Geneva (and mind you, with no trouble despite an arrest warrant out for Raj as a murder suspect), they find an insurance agent also trying to look for evidence against Vikram who supposedly received a $100 million payout after his wife’s death.

    The three pair up and follow a trail to a cruise where they come across Vikram, chilling and buying everyone drinks on the ship.

    And that is when the second bomb drops, as Bipasha Basu aka Sonia is shown alive, well and dancing to the beats of oila oila with dear Vicky.

    Raj and Priya, dismissing the obvious plan of action - calling the police to let them in on the information, decide to confront the con couple instead. 

    Vikram, as cocky as he is, sings like a canary and tells him of his master plan that was put into action the day Raj and Priya moved into the house next door. Turns out, the woman Raj saw Vikram with was the real Sonia Bajaj and also Vikram’s wife.

    While Bipasha’s real identity was Neeta, who used to be a bar dancer. Neeta and her lover Vicky wanted to get rich quick and so, Vikram decided to hook a sugar mama for himself, only to come up with an elaborate plan to kill her and acquire her estate and money. And while Vikram is basking in the glory of his rags to riches story, he is interrupted by Raj and how.

    Raj then goes on to show Vikram how his bank account that had $100 million was now empty because genius Raj Malhotra simply guessed his password to be ‘everything is planned’ and transferred the money back.

    Not only that, but he apparently also recorded the entire confession and rather than being sneaky enough to somehow escape and submit it to the cops, he shows Vikram the recorder and invites a blood bath. The genius of this movie was obviously way ahead of its time. 

    Vikram who is now both - exposed and broke, and clearly has nothing to lose, goes into a fit of rage and attacks the three.

    In all the commotion, Neeta dies and Vikram runs rampant to kill both Priya and Raj. Of course, Raj wins and Vikram gets stabbed by the ship anchor.

    Surprisingly no charges of even manslaughter in self-defence get imposed on Raj, who walks a free man with Priya, right back to the streets of India, where they have normally annoying neighbours and not downright psycho killers.

    The ‘sheher ki ladki’ of Bollywood, actress Raveena Tandon recently rang in her 47th birthday and continues to be a forever favorite for every 90s kid out there. In a recent interview with a media house, Raveena narrated an interesting incident around her situation with actor and friend Salman Khan who has previously worked with her in several projects, including Andaaz Apna Apna.

    Apparently during the shoot of their movie Patthar Ke Phool, Salman and Raveena were at loggerheads and in fact, he vowed to not work with her again. “We were like two kids in a class who just wanted to fight over everything. I was sixteen and a half and Salman must have been 23. We were both brats. Salman and I are the same nature-wise, we were almost brought up in the same house as Salim uncle and my dad used to work together. It was like we were continuing our fights from home. We fought throughout the film and Salman said ‘I’m not going to work with her’ and then we did Andaaz Apna Apna”, she revealed.


    The two went on to sign Andaaz Apna Apna post this project so clearly the break up didn’t happen, thankfully. She also spoke about how she entered the show business. "One day, I was in one of the studios in Bandra and my friend Bunty, who was a filmmaker, I knew him because I had done a few advertisements with him, asked if I was in Bandra. I said yes. To that he said, ‘Come outside, Salman (Khan) and I are passing by, just say hi to us’. I remember my friends were more excited that my co-actor is Salman Khan and they encouraged me to go ahead. So, that was how my journey of being a film actress began”, she quipped.

    Bollywood is known worldwide for churning out great movies that center around drama, families and culture. In fact, nothing beats chilling on a Sunday and watching an early 90s or 2000s drama movie to get into the comfort zone, where you know that despite all the twists & turns, all will be well by the end of it. Now, one such movie that we have all enjoyed watching over the last two decades is Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.

    The movie, directed by Karan Johar, was a truly a proper ensemble of sorts, with Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Kajol, Jaya Bachchan, and Kareena Kapoor Khan all starring in it. The movie had everything needed for a proper family package including good songs, good plot, and terrific acting. And that is the reason why we still don't hesitate to watch it on the screens.

    Apart from that, another reason for the success of the movie was the acting showcased by lesser-known younger actors, with  Kavish Majmudar and Malvika Raaj playing the roles of a younger Hrithik and Kareena.

    Malvika, who played the role of young 'Pooja' or 'Poo' in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, will make her big debut in an action film titled Squad. The actress will star opposite Rinzing Denzongpa, son of veteran actor Danny Denzongpa in the film, and will be seen performing some high-octane action scenes. 

    Malvika, who will play the role of a sniper shooter in the film, spoke as to what the plot is actually about. "I am really excited for the film to reach the audience. The film revolves around a little Indian girl, who we rescue and bring back to our country amid all odds. My character in the film is a sniper shooter. All I can say is that my character is very sharp but also a lot of fun! She lives life on the edge and can handle tough situations with a lot of ease," she said.
    Honestly, we'd love to see her return to cinema, however, we are sure it will be difficult to think of her anything other than the young 'Poo' we so adored in K3G. Hopefully, her acting as an adult will create a newer image of her in our minds. Good luck to her!

    After spending almost 26 days in jail and being questioned by NCB officers, Aryan Khan can finally breathe a sigh of relief as he has been granted bail by the Bombay High Court. It’s a big day for Shah Rukh Khan and his family who have been fighting for it. As per reports, Khan had been booked for his consumption of ‘Charas’. The NCB alleged that they had seized 13 grams of cocaine, 5 grams of MD, 21 grams of charas, 22 pills of MDMA (ecstasy), and Rs 1.33 lakh in the raid.

    Days after he was detained, it was revealed that he didn’t consume drugs and didn’t even possess them for that matter. Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) counsel ASG Anil Singh said that applicant Aryan Khan is not a first-time consumer but a regular consumer of drugs for the last two years.

Arguing before Justice Nitin Sambre in the Bombay High court, Rohatgi said that Aryan didn’t possess any drugs. “No recovery, no consumption, I submit I am wrongly arrested," the former AGI said. He added, “Penalty is for consumption or carrying it. I don't have it, possession of somebody else can't be my possession. Unless it is in my knowledge.”

    Let's admit one thing! We all loved Shahid Kapoor's debut film Ishq Vishk when it came out in 2003. The movie was an absolute delight to watch with peppy songs, a good overall storyline with the right balance of drama, romance, comedy, and star power.

    The love-triangle story starred Shahid alongside Amrita Rao, Shenaz Treasury, Vishal Malhotra, Neelima Azeem, and Satish Shah, and became the hottest movie in town following its release. The college romance was very well accepted by viewers who could relate to the movie in all the senses, with Shahid getting a Bollywood debut he could have only dreamt of.

    Now, 18 years on, the much-anticipated sequel to the romantic-comedy may finally be on the way with Pinkvilla reporting the movie is back on track with probably a new star cast.

    According to a source speaking to Pinkvilla, Bollywood producer Ramesh Taurani, who had produced the first film along with movies like the Race series, Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahaani, The Legend Of Bhagat Singh, and others, is very excited about the new project.

    “Producer Ramesh Taurani is extremely excited about Ishq Vishk, and his writers have already begun work on the script. Development on it had been halted for a while because of the pandemic and a few other projects that were already in the pipeline. But work on the second part has begun once again, and Mr Taurani will start looking for a director and the actors as soon as the final script is locked,” the source said.
    The first film was directed by Ken Ghosh and clearly took into close consideration the dynamics of college romances, and successfully incorporated it with the talent of newcomers Shahid, Amrita, and Shenaz.
    While it remains to be seen which director will replace him and who all will star in the movie, Amrita had earlier mentioned that the actors that she'd love to star in the new movie would be Ishaan Khatter (Shahid Kapoor's brother), Sara Ali Khan, and Tara Sutaria.

    The internet has been abuzz with the news of Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif’s wedding and fans have been waiting for the official announcement from the two. However, the couple has been rather tight-lipped about their relationship
    According to a report in ETimes, the couple is already prepping for their wedding. A source said, “Their wedding outfits are being designed by Sabyasachi. They are currently in the process of choosing fabrics for the same; Katrina has chosen a raw silk number for her ensemble, which is going to be a lehenga. The wedding will take place in November-December.”

    1. They will be tying the knot at Six Senses Fort Barwara, a resort in Sawai Madhopur, located just 30 minutes away from Ranthambore National Park in Rajasthan. 
    2. As per the official website of the fort, it’s owned by a Rajasthani Royal Family, and faces the Chauth ka Barwara Mandir. 
    3. Six Senses Fort Barwara is a 14th-century fort that has been restored and converted into a Six Senses sanctuary and wellness spa. 
    4. As per the website, there are 48 suites ranging from 753 square feet (70 square meters) to 3,014 square feet (280 square meters). 
    5. It is designed in such a way that it has a blend of the old Rajasthani charm with modern amenities. 
    6. The fort has 8 types of accommodation suites ranging from Rs 60,000 to Rs 2,00,000 per night.

    Kiran Gosavi, the highly controversial 'independent witness' of the Narcotics Control Bureau that detained Aryan Khan in the cruise ship drug scandal, was finally detained in Pune by the police.
    Gosavi was the person who was seen in the selfie with Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan just after the star kid was detained by the NCB from the Goa-bound cruise ship.

    However, soon after the image went viral on the internet, Gosavi was nowhere to be found, with people speculating who exactly he was and why he was clicking a selfie with Shah Rukh's eldest son. Well now, weeks after absconding, Gosavi was finally arrested by the Pune police after a lookout notice had been stamped over his head for being involved in a 2018 cheating case.

    The arrest comes three days after Gosavi claimed that he had offered to surrender himself to the Uttar Pradesh police in Lucknow, with the police refusing to accept his surrender. A private investigator by profession, Gosavi had stated that he felt "threatened" in Maharashtra and wanted to surrender, however, his claims were refuted by the Lucknow police.

According to the videos and photos taken by Gosavi right after the arrest showed that he had unlimited access to Aryan.

    Later, this clearly brought up questions about NCB's investigation by Maharashtra's ruling alliance with many leaders asking as to why an "independent witness" of the agency was present at the cruise ship raid, the office, and how he could take selfies with Aryan.
    Gosavi's name is also a thing of particular interest as he is accused of extorting money from Shah Rukh for the release of his son Aryan.
    Earlier, Prabhakar Sail, another witness in the cruise ship drugs case, had said he had proof of the payoff allegations made against Gosavi. Sail, who claimed to be Gosavi's personal bodyguard said that he had overheard Gosavi and one Sam D'Souza talking about a Rs 25 crore payoff to let off Aryan Khan in the case.
    "They were discussing that Rs 8 crore would go to NCB Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede," Sail claimed at a press conference earlier. However, Gosavi on Monday released a video statement to rubbish Sail's account. 
    He said, "Sail is lying. I just want to request that his CDR (call details record) should be released. My CDR report or chat should be issued, along with the CDR report of Sail and his brother, then everything will be clear. At least one minister or any leader of the opposition from Maharashtra should stand with me. At least they should request the Mumbai Police to do what I am asking (to release CDR and chat of Sail."

    South African cricketer Quinton de Kock created a stir in the international cricket community when he refused to take a knee along with his teammates ahead of their T20 World Cup 2021 match against the West Indies on Tuesday. He even agreed to be removed from the squad and did not play a single minute of the match.
    For the next two days, de Kock remained silent about why he refused to do show any kind of support towards the International Cricket Council’s provision to stand against social inequality. 
    He was called a racist and a disgrace to the development that South Africa has made as a nation ever since the abolishment of Apartheid in the country.

    His own team captain Temba Bavuma agreed that he was left surprised by de Kock’s decision to not be alongside his teammates in this moment of social unity but refused to throw his reputation under the bus by calling him out for it.
    “As a team, we’re obviously surprised and taken aback. Quinton is a big player for the team, not just with the bat but the role he plays from a senior point of view,” Bavuma said after winning the match against the Windies. “In saying that, Quinton is an adult. He’s a man in his own shoes. We respect his decision, his convictions. I know that he’ll be standing behind whatever decision that he’s taken.”

    "I would like to start by saying sorry to my teammates, and the fans back home. I never ever wanted to make this a Quinton issue. I understand the importance of standing against racism, and I also understand the responsibility of us as players to set an example.
    "If me taking a knee helps to educate others, and makes the lives of others better, I am more than happy to do so. I did not, in any way, mean to disrespect anyone by not playing against West Indies, especially the West Indian team themselves. Maybe some people don't understand that we were just hit with this on Tuesday morning, on the way to a game.
    "I am deeply sorry for all the hurt, confusion and anger that I have caused. I was quiet on this very important issue until now. But I feel I have to explain myself a little bit.
    "For those who don't know, I come from a mixed-race family. My half-sisters are Coloured and my stepmom is Black. For me, Black lives have mattered since I was born. Not just because there was an international movement.
    "The rights and equality of all people is more important than any individual. I was raised to understand that we all have rights, and they are important. I felt like my rights were taken away when I was told what we had to do in the way that we were told.
    "Since our chat with the board last night, which was very emotional, I think we all have a better understanding of their intentions as well. I wish this had happened sooner, because what happened on match day could have been avoided.
    "I know I have an example to set. We were previously told we had the choice to do what we felt we wanted to do. I chose to keep my thoughts to myself, and thought of the pride of playing for my family and my country. 
    "I didn't understand why I had to prove it with a gesture, when I live and learn and love people from all walks of life every day. When you are told what to do, with no discussion, I felt like it takes away the meaning. If I was racist, I could easily have taken the knee and lied, which is wrong and doesn’t build a better society.  
    "Those who have grown up with me and played with me, know what type of person I am. I've been called a lot of things as a cricketer. Doff. Stupid. Selfish. Immature. But those didn't hurt. Being called a racist because of a misunderstanding hurts me deeply. It hurts my family. It hurts my pregnant wife.
    "I am not a racist. In my heart of hearts, I know that. And I think those who know me know that. I know I'm not great with words, but I've tried my best to explain how truly sorry I am for making like this is about me. It is not.
    "I won't lie, I was shocked that we were told on the way to an important match that there was an instruction that we had to follow, with a perceived 'or else.' I don't think I was the only one. We had camps. We had sessions. We had zoom meetings. We know where we all stand. And that is together.
    "I love every one of my teammates, and I love nothing more than playing cricket for South Africa. I think it would have been better for everyone concerned if we had sorted this out before the tournament started.
    "Then we could have focused on our job, to win cricket matches for our country. There always seems to be a drama when we go to World Cups. That isn't fair.
    "I just want to thank my teammates for their support, especially my captain, Temba. People might not recognise, but he is a flipping amazing leader. If he and the team, and South Africa, will have me, I would love nothing more than to play cricket for my country again."

    There has been much debate and discussion about Vicky Kaushal’s Sardar Udham not making the cut as India’s official entry to Oscars 2022. Instead, the Tamil-language film, Koozhangal (Pebbles) “was picked by a 15-member jury, headed by filmmaker Shaji N Karun, in a unanimous decision.”

    Koozhangal tells the story of a child following his violent and alcoholic father to find his mother who ran away from her husband’s abuse. 

    The story is inspired by a real-life incident in director Vinothraj’s family. South actors Vignesh Shivan and Nayanthara produced the film and newcomers Chellapandi and Karuththadaiyaan star in it.

    Shaji has explained why it beat any other Indian film in the race for Oscar’s entry. “For me, personally, choosing a film nomination for the Oscars is like strategising to win an Olympic match. The jury agreed that this film had great cinematic content, and has the strength, capability and contestability to win at the Oscars. This is not a National Award nomination. We have to pick a film that will stand out among nominations coming from 92 countries,” he said, adding that it was “best from the lot.”

    Shoojit Sircar, who directed Sardar Udham, commented, “It is a personal opinion, it is very subjective, I have no comment on that. I respect the jury and their decision. The film that was finally selected, I know about it, and I am glad that it was chosen. I go by the jury’s decision."

    Another factor that was a hindrance in Sardar Udham going to the Oscar is its prolonged climax. 

    Sumit Basu, another jury member, had said, “Many have loved Sardar Udham for its cinematic quality including camerawork, editing, sound design and depiction of the period. I thought the length of the film was an issue. It has a delayed climax. It takes a lot of time for a viewer to feel the real pain for the martyrs of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre.”

    While we do agree with the jury’s decision and are glad that an off-beat Tamil film made it to the Oscars, the whole row was not about Vicky Kaushal’s film not being selected, but the reason given by the jury member Indraadip Dasgupta. 

    He had said, “Sardar Udham is a little lengthy and harps on the Jallianwala Bagh incident. It is an honest effort to make a lavish film on an unsung hero of the Indian freedom struggle. But in the process, it again projects our hatred towards the British. In this era of globalization, it is not fair to hold on to this hatred.”

    Well, apart from the fact that the film doesn’t show hatred towards the British but only tells the truth about the horrifying incident of the Jallianwala Bagh tragedy, this shouldn’t be the reason to hold a deserving film back to be represented on an international platform. 

    It’s baseless and unfair and such a desi parent thing to do, if you think about it; when they shush their kids and ask them to respect their toxic relatives, just because “Achi baat nahi hai.”

    Bollywood celebs have been speaking in favour of the star kid and one of the names who has been supportive of the star kid is Hrithik Roshan. Taking to his Instagram stories, he posted a video of famous journalist Faye D’Souza who had shared an interview with Supreme Court advocate Dushyant Dave. In the interview, he gave his opinion on the case mentioning how Justice Nitin Sambre, who is hearing the case, has previously allowed bail to men who have been found in possession of drugs. Hrithik wrote, “If these are facts. It is truly sad.”

    As far as latest developments in the case are concerned, the former attorney general of India, Mukul Rohatgi, has stepped in to represent Aryan in the Bombay High Court. Arguing before Justice Nitin Sambre in the Bombay High court, Rohatgi said that Aryan didn’t possess any drugs. “No recovery, no consumption, I submit I am wrongly arrested," the former AGI said. He added, “Penalty is for consumption or carrying it. I don't have it, possession of somebody else can't be my possession. Unless it is in my knowledge.”

    The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has decided to expand the Indian Premier League and make it a little bit more inclusive for two other cities of India now that it has accepted bids for two more franchises to be included, making the total number of IPL teams rise from 8 to 10.
    While this move did bring generate a lot of extra revenue for them, it also comes with severe complications, one of them being the need to ensure a fair chance for the new franchises to build a strong roster with the players who will be available during the upcoming Mega-Auction ahead of the 2022 season.
    The BCCI is thinking to give two new IPL teams 3 free picks for IPL 2022 which means the new teams will have the right to pick 3 players from auction pool even before the auction kicks off. Current IPL teams are uncomfortable with this idea. (Reported by Inside Sport).

    There is also a rule which allows the older franchises to retain four of their best players and not add their names to the auction pool. This means that the new teams in Lucknow and Ahmedabad will not have the opportunity to bid for the top 32 players of the league.
    In order to combat this issue, the Indian cricket board is contemplating a unique provision for the two franchises which allows them to pick three players each from the auction pool to be added to their respective squads even before the Mega Auction begins.
    Waiting for the mega auction and how these two new teams pick up, I hope there won't be a major difference as it might affect the quality of the league.

    However, just the news about the thought of introducing this new rule has enraged some of the franchise owners because they feel that it takes away their ‘Right-to-Match’ or RTM. 
    Introduced for the first time in IPL 2018, RTM is an option for a team to retain a player, by matching the highest bid amount for the player by another team during the auction.

    Life felt empty and purposeless ever since Avengers: Endgame hit the theatres and literally took our (and well, Tony Stark’s) breath away. 
    Of course, a few movies did come in, cue Black Widow, Shang Chi and Spiderman, but let’s face it, none had the impact a power-packed group of superheroes does. 
    And then came ‘Eternals’. The trailer, at least. With a cast that included actors like Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Salma Hayek, Angelina Jolie, Gemma Chan, Lia McHugh, Brian Tyree Henry, Lauren Ridloff, Barry Keoghan, Don Lee, Gil Birmingham, Harish Patel, and Kit Harington.

    There was intense music, a ticking deadline of 7 days to save the world, an absolutely new lot of superheroes which were 7000 years old, sarcastic dialogues and well, Angelina Jolie. 
    Who wouldn’t think of it as the next Marvel masterpiece, right? Wrong. Because the answer is - most of the critics who reviewed the movie gave it the lowest rating ever to be given to an MCU film.
    Out of the 92 reviews, Marvel’s Eternals has received a score of 64 per cent which is, by far, the lowest for any Marvel movie. Including Thor: Dark World that had a rating of 66%.

    The critics claimed about the movie, “An ambitious superhero epic that soars more often than it strains, Eternals takes the MCU in intriguing — and occasionally confounding — new directions.” 
    Meanwhile, we still eagerly await to see whether there will be a further drop or a significant rise in the rating once it is open to other reviewers.

    While the film has been lauded for its visuals and scale it is being criticized for being overstuffed and full of expository dialogue, among a list of other things.
    Eternals premiered in the UK on Wednesday and most of the cast including Nanjiani, Jolie, Hayek, Ridloff, and director Zhao were present for it. 
    Meanwhile, Black Panther still remains the top-rated Marvel Universe movie followed by Avengers: Endgame.

    Harbhajan Singh has had a pretty eventful week on Twitter. 
    After fighting with Mohammad Amir for taunting him after India’s loss to Pakistan, the Indian spinner lashed out at a Pakistani journalist who tried taking pot-shots at him first.
    While Singh was in the middle of a war of words with Amir, reminding him about his infamous days for taking money to spot-fix, a Pakistani journalist Iqra Nasir decided to jump in the middle of the debate with a video of Younis Khan hitting sixes against him in a Test match.
