    A special court on Monday deferred the bail application of Aryan Khan to October 13 after NCB took time to file its reply in the matter. 

    Special NDPS Court’s special judge VV Patil has kept the bail pleas of other accused Arbaaz Merchant, Munmun Dhamecha, Nupur Satija, and Mohak Jaswal, also for hearing on Wednesday.

    Meanwhile, Senior advocate Amit Desai was seen representing Aryan Khan for his bail hearing. 

    Amit Desai also previously represented actor Salman Khan in the controversial 2002 hit-and-run case. He will represent Aryan Khan in the ongoing drugs case on Wednesday. 
    Amit Desai had represented Salman Khan for his bail hearing in 2015.

    The Bollywood actor was granted bail on a sum of Rs 30,000 in May 2015. 

    Speaking about Aryan Khan, advocate Amit Desai said, “We are in the hands of the court. To see justice is to be done. Admitted fact that nothing was found on Aryan Khan. NCB argued bail last week. So plea (sic) may be heard tomorrow. Question of my liberty at stake.”

    Meanwhile, Aryan Khan and the other accused will continue to be in custody and spend the next two days at the Arthur Road Central Jail and the Byculla Women’s Jail till they get bail.

    Virat Kohli’s tenure as Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) skipper came to a disappointing end as they lost to two-time champions Kolkata Knight Riders in the Eliminator and were knocked out of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021.

    RCB failed to put up a big score on the board KKR’s quality spin-bowling trio of Sunil Narine, Varun Chakravarthy and Shakib Al Hasan. 
    Although Kohli’s men did fight with all their might and took the game to the final over, it was their dismal batting performance that cost them the game as KKR chased down the 139-run target with two balls to spare.

    For the RCB fans who had hoped to see Kohli finish his captaincy tenure with silverware, the defeat was hard to take. That said, nobody expected them to stoop down to the level that some of them did.

    After the loss, some of the so-called RCB supporters began targeting the players and their family members on social media, with their prime target being Dan Christian, who had an off day on the field.

    He scored nine off eight balls before being run out and proved to be RCB's most expensive bowler on the night, conceding 29 runs in the 1.4 overs that he bowled. 

    He was hit for three sixes in the same over by Sunil Narine that perhaps shifted the game in KKR’s favour and the RCB supporters lashed out their anger on social media after the game.
    Not just Christian, the toxic fans didn’t even spare his pregnant partner Jorgia Dunn and passed nasty comments on her Instagram posts.

    The Aussie was distraught with the unnecessary hatred his partner was getting on social media and he decided to call the trolls out.

    “Check out the comments section of my partner’s Instagram post. I didn’t have a great game tonight but that’s sport. However please, leave her out,” Christian wrote on his Instagram story.

    Showing solidarity with his teammate, Glenn Maxwell lashed out at the trolls and called them out for abusing players and their loved ones. 
    Recalling the wonderful season that the RCB had this year, Maxwell said it was unfortunate that they couldn’t end their campaign on a high but they still gave their best every time they stepped onto the field.

    “Great season by RCB, unfortunately we fell well short of where we thought we should be. Doesn’t take away from an amazing season. Some of the garbage that has been flowing on social media is absolutely disgusting. We are human beings who are giving out best each and every day. Try being a decent person maybe instead of spreading abuse," Maxwell wrote on his Twitter handle. 
    “Thank you to the REAL fans that shared love and appreciation for the players giving their all. Unfortunately, there is some horrible people out there that make social media a horrible place to be. It is unacceptable. Please don’t be like them”.

    He urged the fans to respect their fellow human beings and further warned that anyone who is seen abusing his teammates or friends on social media, will be blocked not just by him but everyone.

    “If you comment abuse on one of my team-mates/friends' social media with negative/abusive rubbish, you will be blocked by everyone. What is the point of being a terrible person? There is no excuse,” read his statement. 
    These people who can’t stand by their team and its players in their tough times, don’t have any right to call themselves cricket fans because they don’t understand the very essence of the sport. 
    We fought till the end and never gave up but it just wasn’t our night.

    Cricket is a game. You win some, you lose some. Fans must understand that more than any of us losing a match of such magnitude is devastating for the players because they gave their all on the field but still came up short. 
    In moments like these, they look up to their fans to become their strength and help them recover from the heartbreaking defeat. Even if you can’t console them, you shouldn’t pull them further down by hurling abuse at them. A true cricket fan would never do that.

    Shah Rukh Khan has been going through the toughest phase of his life as his son Aryan Khan has been detained by the NCB in connection with the possession of drugs in a cruise raid. However, nothing has been proved against the star kid with the news of his arrest becoming the most trending topic on social media.
    SRK has been a protective father for his kids and has always maintained that he can do anything for them. He doesn’t mind being trolled or attacked but doesn't want his kids to be a part of all these controversies. Aryan has been going through this ordeal but this is not the first time that the star kid had to deal with controversies and rumours that affected Khan and the family. Back in the day, rumour mills were abuzz, claiming that AbRam Khan was Aryan Khan’s son instead of Shah Rukh Khan.

    In a TED talk in 2017, SRK quashed all these rumours and reacted to the rumours of Aryan Khan being AbRam Khan’s father. He said, “Four years ago, my wife Gauri and I decided to have a third child. It was claimed online that he was the love child of our first child who was 15-years-old at the time.” Shah Rukh further added that whoever let that rumour out, attempted to aid their claim with a “fake video” of Aryan Khan driving around Europe.

    He also revealed that Aryan was shaken by all these rumours because he didn’t even have the licence to drive on the streets of Europe and it took almost 4 years for Aryan to move on from all the backlash he received. Shah Rukh said, “Apparently, he had sown his wild oats with a girl while driving her car in Romania. And yeah, there was a fake video to go with it. And we were so disturbed as a family. My son, who is 19 now, even now when you say ‘hello’ to him, he just turns around and says, ‘But bro, I didn’t even have a European driving license.'" 
    It was later on revealed that AbRam, who was born via surrogacy, was born prematurely at 34 weeks and spent a substantial amount of time in hospital. Speaking to PTI, SRK had said, “It is one of the only things that has made me uncomfortable in my career is you take on a child who is sick when he was born and make it an issue… I find it very disgraceful. I am a movie star, disgrace me but not my kids."

    For most days, online shopping in India can be a trustworthy experience but you do tend to hear off the cuff cases that leaves you speechless. This is one such case where a customer ordered an iPhone 12 from an e-commerce website worth Rs 53,000 and ended up getting a soap bar instead that’s worth Rs 5.

    Simranpal Singh ordered the iPhone 12, thanks to a price cut during the festive season thinking he invested in a smartphone that will last him for years. However, when the package arrived, he was shocked to discover that his newly bought iPhone 12 had been replaced with a soap bar instead. He recorded the entire process of opening the package and uploaded the video to YouTube. 

    He tried to get customer service of the e-commerce website to admit to their mistake so that he could initiate a refund or a replacement. It took him several attempts to finally get the e-commerce website to own up to the mistake and has now been given a refund. 
    "The customer service denied that the product had been delivered since it showed ‘Out for delivery’ in their system. However, the behaviour of the logistics team troubled me more, as they called me again to get the OTP or Mobile Number after 'failed' delivery. It raised alarm and suspicion, which further led to 2-3 hours full of stress," he wrote in the video's description.

    One way to circumvent a situation like this is to opt for an ‘open-box delivery’ on e-commerce platforms. This prevents delivery agents from replacing your expensive orders with something like a soap bar or a brick. In addition, you can also open the package in front of the delivery agent while capturing a video so that you have all the proof you need to initiate a refund, replacement or make a complaint with the consumer court if the problem is not resolved smoothly.
