    Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan was recently taken into custody by the NCB as he was arrested in a drug case in Mumbai. 
    This bust took place on Cordelia Cruises' Empress ship on 2nd October. 
    While many hoped that Aryan Khan would get bail soon, his custody has now been extended. And, since people on the internet don't leave any stone unturned in coming up with memes or taking a dig when such events happen, recently, Aryan Khan's old video started doing rounds on the internet.

    The old video, in which Aryan is seen helping a beggar while leaving a restaurant in Mumbai, has now gone viral. 
    He is exiting from a joint with Malaika Arora and his other friends. When the girl approaches Aryan with a child in one arm, Aryan is seen responding with kind gestures. 
    He later obliges as there's a huge crowd gathered in the area.

    Meanwhile, many celebrities from the industry have come in support of Aryan and Shah Rukh Khan. 

    Sussane Khan recently extended her support to the Khan family after Aryan's arrest. She said Aryan was “at the wrong place at the wrong time". 
    Other famous personalities, including Salman Khan, Suniel Shetty, Pooja Bhatt and Suchitra Krishnamoorthi, too, have rallied in their support for the family. 
    Salman was seen visiting SRK's house, Mannat, on Sunday. Even Pooja Bhatt tweeted, “I stand in solidarity with you @iamsrk. Not that you need it. But I do. This too shall pass."

    Ever since MS Dhoni has announced that he will play in the Indian Premier League (IPL) next year, the Chennai Super Kings supporters are over the moon. 

    All the ‘Thala’ fans have another reason to rejoice as CSK ownership has now confirmed that they will retain Mahendra Singh Dhoni ahead of next year’s auction as they hope to see him leading their franchise not just next year but a few more years after that as well.

    During a virtual interaction, organised as part of India Cements’ Platinum Jubilee celebration, Dhoni put to bed all the speculations about his IPL retirement saying he intends to play his “farewell game” in front of their home crowd in Chennai.

    However, the India Cements official has rubbished all reports claiming that he would retire after next year’s IPL. 
    Indian cements official (in Cricbuzz) said "We are going to retain MS Dhoni, he will be there next year and maybe few more years. Nothing has been decided yet, all he said was fans can see his farewell match in Chennai. There is no way to conclude that next year is his last one".

    But some fans thought it would be foolish on the franchise's part if they indeed decide to spend a huge amount of money to retain an ageing player, who doesn’t have much cricket left in him and nobody knows till when he’ll continue to sport the yellow jersey. 

    It led to a huge debate on the micro-blogging site with fans questioning whether by retaining Dhoni CSK CSK would be making a wise choice or would be playing into the hands of their opposition and give them an advantage.

    Those arguing in favour of his retention feel Dhoni is much more to the franchise than just a player as he, despite being one of the oldest players in the league, continues to be their biggest crowd puller. 

    Letting go of a brand like him would make CSK look foolish. 
    Those who want CSK to utilise this money on building for the future are arguing that spending this big of an amount on a player who doesn’t know how much juice is left in him, just doesn’t make sense.

    That said, retaining Dhoni for a hefty amount is like a double-edged sword as it could either work wonders or prove a complete disaster. 

    The truth is, Dhoni is not getting any younger and while the CSK management is hoping for him to play for the next few years, the issue is nobody really knows how long he will last.

    Aryan Khan is in Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) custody till October 7, even though no drugs were found from him during the rave party on Saturday, according to his lawyers.
    As per news agency IANS report, Shah Rukh Khan took permission from the NCB to meet his son, and reportedly, Aryan broke down before him as the father and son had an emotional meeting. 
    Aryan Khan was arrested along with 10 others at a rave party. 
    Munmun Dhamecha, Arbaaz Merchant, Vikrant Chhoker, Nupur Sarika, Ismeet Singh, Mohak Jaiswal, and Gomit Chopra, and many others were taken in the custody by the second NCB operation abroad the cruiser on Monday (4th October).

    In the past one and a half years, the NCB has been tracking the alleged 'drug mafia' nexus in the Bollywood industry and several celebrities, accused to be in possession of illegal substances, have been taken in for questioning.

    In an interview with TOI, Zonal Director of NCB Sameer Wankhede said, “We are doing our job. There is a rule and it should be followed by everyone. It is the same for all. Everyone is equal in front of the law and just because someone is famous we should let them go free. Why should celebrities don’t follow those rules and why should they walk away scot-free? Famous doesn’t give them the right to violate the rules? If we see a famous person breaking the law, we shouldn’t do anything about it? Should I only run after the drug peddlers and conduct my operations and raids in slums alone?”
    Making another crucial point, Sameer pointed out that the NCB is hard at work all year and makes several arrests and carries out raids constantly, however, only those cases with celebrities involved are noticed.

    On Tuesday, Indian wrestler Sushil Kumar made his first attempt at requesting bail in the murder case of 27-year old junior wrestler Sagar Dhankar and running away from the police.
    Kumar’s advocate, Pradeep Rana accused the Delhi Police of fabricating the evidence and trying their best to portray a wrong image of his client. “In this case, twelve persons were present and none of them made a statement against me (Kumar). They make a statement after a delay of weeks and in some cases a month. This is because the police are trying to conceal something,” Rana said in a statement on behalf of the Olympian.

    He further accused the Delhi Police of relying on supplementary statements of the witnesses in order to fool-proof their original statements. He also stated that the head constable who claims to have brought Dhankar’s body to the hospital after the alleged beating he took at the hands of Kumar, was not even present at the hospital.
    Kumar’s lawyer also said that Dhankar’s dying declaration was “up in the air” and further questioned the reasons behind a sub-inspector’s 40-day delay in giving his statement.

    Special Public Prosecutor Atul Kumar Srivastava began his rebuttal by reading out loud the opinion shared by a forensic assistant on Sushil Kumar’s behaviourism after being arrested for the murder. He read that Sushil “showed no signs of remorse or guilt” and “was extremely ego-centric and he behaved as he thought that he is above the law”.

    He went on to explain the reason behind the delay in the sub-inspector’s statement by stating that the police officer was dealing with a severe medical issue. Srivastava further added that a statement must be recorded even if a person comes up with it after years of the crime taking place.
    “They were behaving like wild animals on a hunt. They hunted him (Sagar) like wild pigs. He was flailing on the floor while they mercilessly beat him,” Srivastava told the court.
    A #Delhi court rejected the bail plea filed by wrestler #SushilKumar who is currently lodged in a jail over a murder case.

    While the court did ask Prosecutor Srivastava to stick to the facts and evidence of the cases in his rebuttal, it was also decided by the judge that Kumar’s bail plea would be denied.

    Mapping his journey, life and the road to megastardom, a documentary series called ‘Beyond The Star Salman Khan’ was announced a few weeks ago. 

    If the reports are to be believed, the shooting for the same has already begun.
    An Instagram user shared a picture of the clapperboard of the docu-series which showed scene 2 called ‘Sarita’ is being shot for the series.

    The photo of the clapboard is going viral on social media and Bhaijaan fans are really excited for the series. 

    A source from the project told a leading daily, “The prep work has already begun and the interviews with Salman’s colleagues will be done in the coming few months.” 
    Khan’s co-stars, directors, friends from the industry and family members will reportedly feature in the series to give insights into the actor’s life.

    The series is slated for an OTT release and is being produced by SFK Films which is Khan’s own production company, along with Wiz Films and Applause Entertainment. The series will chronicle the actor’s journey in showbiz.
