In the past one and a half years, the NCB has been tracking the alleged 'drug mafia' nexus in the Bollywood industry and several celebrities, accused to be in possession of illegal substances, have been taken in for questioning.
The NCB has conducted many raids at many Bollywood celebrities houses during these months and some have been detained for questioning.
    View this post on Instagram
In an interview with TOI, Zonal Director of NCB Sameer Wankhede said, “We are doing our job. There is a rule and it should be followed by everyone. It is the same for all. Everyone is equal in front of the law and just because someone is famous we should let them go free. Why should celebrities don’t follow those rules and why should they walk away scot-free? Famous doesn’t give them the right to violate the rules? If we see a famous person breaking the law, we shouldn’t do anything about it? Should I only run after the drug peddlers and conduct my operations and raids in slums alone?”
Making another crucial point, Sameer pointed out that the NCB is hard at work all year and makes several arrests and carries out raids constantly, however, only those cases with celebrities involved are noticed.
“This year we’ve made more than 310 arrests. How many of those are celebrities? We’ve seized illegal substances worth Rs 150 crores this year. Has anyone spoken about that?”, he said.
View this post on InstagramMeanwhile, in the cruise ship rave case, the NCB released an official statement that reads, “In a further development in Cr 94/21, the three accused namely Aryan Khan, Arbaz Merchant, and Munmun Dhamecha were arrested today on 03-10-2021 u/s 8 (c) r/w section 20 (b), 27, 28 & 29 of NDPS Act and were produced before the honourable holiday court today after their medical.”
According to reports, Aryan Khan is set to apply for bail today.

Fitness has become something of a hot topic in recent years, thanks to the constant bombardment of unbelievable physical standards via daily advertisements and Bollywood films. An individual’s personal benchmark has never been higher. That’s a lot of stress we’ve inadvertently signed up for.
Heroes like Tiger Shroff, Hrithik Roshan, John Abraham have changed the game when it comes to limits that actors are willing to push in order to look a certain way for their roles. Showing off their highly shredded physiques, it has almost become a subliminal covenant, that actors need to be willing to transform themselves into modern-day Greek Gods. Everybody wants to look like a high-performance athlete, even if the lifestyle isn’t sustainable for them.
Sure, it may be highly desirable according to current societal standards, but that seems to be the only reason people are following this trend. Being and feeling healthy seems to have gone out of the window, instead, our obsession with physical aesthetics seems to have taken over. Is it feasible to expect everyone to strut around with six-packs and eight-packs?
    View this post on Instagram
One such Bollywood personality, who goes against the grain when it comes to unrealistic standards of personal fitness is none other than Pankaj Tripathi. The actor enjoys a cult-like status in the industry, and for good reason. As an entertainer who’s known more for his mastery of the craft than his appeal to the audience’s vanity, Pankaj works out to keep himself fit and functioning above everything else.
    View this post on Instagram
“Main bahut conscious hoon fitness ko lekar. And more so in the past two years, for two reasons. First, I have crossed the age of 45, and secondly, I had an injury and there were some complications,” reveals the thespian.
Pankaj does “cardio at home”, but he interjects that thought with a caveat, “Par sab fitness ke liye, six ya eight pack abs banana ke liye nahi.”
Pankaj Tripathi is one of the most in-demand actors in Bollywood, and the resultant hectic schedules have forced his hand to embrace fitness as a lifestyle, rather than some avenue to show-off.
    View this post on Instagram
The Mimi actor tries to fit in a quick workout wherever he can, Pankaj shares, “I don’t work out every day. I have divided it like three days for yoga and two days for the gym. I walk as much as I can, ranging from 45 minutes to an hour as it depends on the shooting. Kisi dubbing ke beech beech mein kar leta hoon. And now advertisements have also got added to the everything, it is tough managing everything,”
The number of conventionally fit actors we see on our screens on a daily basis has shot up exponentially over the past decade. Fitness transformations have become the rage. Aamir Khan and Farhan Akhtar are two such actors who are infamous for their otherworldly body transformations.
So far, Pankaj Tripathi hasn’t had to indulge any such requests for the characters he essays. Even for ‘83, an upcoming film where he plays a cricket coach, Pankaj said that he was more focused on doing his characters justice than being pressured to look a certain way, “Aisa kabhi nahin hua, aur na aisa karna padha kisi film mein mujhe. I have not got any such role for which any director said mota hoja ya patla hoja. I play a coach in ’83, I have a different look in it. Body type and weight had nothing to do with that, but it’s only to do with the craft of acting.”
    View this post on Instagram
We’re glad that Pankaj Tripathi is from that rare breed of actors that march to the beat of their own drums. He has his personal definition of fitness and health, and he’s more than comfortable sticking to it.
What do you think about the industry’s obsession with six-packs and eight-packs? Do let us know in the comments below.

Recently, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) took Shah Rukh Khan's son, Aryan Khan, into custody over a drug case investigation, after a raid on a cruise in Mumbai.
Many celebrities have been called in for questioning in the past in similar cases, and Bollywood's history with drugs is not a newfangled thing.
Here, we look at all such celebrities who were a part of drug controversies over the years:
    1. Sanjay Dutt
    © Instagram/Sanjay Dutt
Sanjay Dutt's history with drugs is not new, and he has been open about it in many interviews as well.

    2. Fardeen Khan
The actor admitted to trying every new drug available, and he called the phase a living 'hell'. However, he later came clean and has managed to stay clean.
Even before the 1993 bomb blast case, Dutt spent five months in jail in 1982 after he was caught in the possession of illegal substances.

Fardeen Khan's career in Bollywood wasn't too long, as he went completely off the grid after a while. The actor was constantly called out for being overweight suddenly too.

Fardeen was arrested in a drug case in 2001 as 9gm of cocaine was found on him. He then underwent a detoxification course.
He is now set to make a comeback in the industry and will be seen in Visfot along with Riteish Deshmukh.
    3. Armaan Kohli

Even Armaan was arrested in 2021 as the NCB raided his apartment in Juhu, Mumbai, and drugs were found at his residence.
    4. Mamta Kulkarni

Mamta Kulkarni was a famous actress back in the day, but even she has had her fair share of drug cases.

She was booked for drug trafficking in 2014 and was arrested by the Kenya police with her husband Vicky Goswami and Indian national Kulam Hussein.
As per reports, drugs worth Rs 2,000 Crore was confiscated at the time of the raid.

    5. Bharti Singh

Bharti Singh and her husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa were also called in for questioning this year by the NCB as they recovered drugs from their residence. They also confessed to consuming cannabis.

The NCB said, “In follow-up and in corroboration with previous inputs, NCB raided two places on 21.11.2020 including production office and house of actor-comedian Ms Bharti Singh and from both the places, 86.5 gms of ganja was recovered. Both Ms Bharti Singh and her husband Harsh Limbachiya accepted the consumption of ganja. Ms Bharti Singh was placed under arrest as per the provisions of NDPS Act 1986 and examination of Shri Harsh Limbachiya is underway."

    6. KJo's Famous Party

Apart from all the other celebs, Karan Johar's party also came under NCB's scanner.
It was said that drugs were consumed at the party by many famous stars, including Deepika Padukone, Ranbir Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal etc. The video went viral, and the audience found 'cocaine lines' on the sofas.

So, the talk of the town at the moment has been Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan after he was detained for possessing drugs on a cruise ship just off the coast of Mumbai. Be it news channels or just people in general, everyone has been having their say on the whole ordeal.

However, while Aryan Khan's name has really been making the headlines, it's easy to forget that he's not the only one who was detained on the ship. As per reports, around 8-10 people were caught in the NCB raids with the names being Vikrant Chokker, Goumit Chopra, Mohak Jaswal, Nupur Sarika, Ishmeet Singh, Munmun Dhamecha, and Arbaaz Seth Merchantt.

Out of all of them, the two names that are sort of well known in the inner circles of Bollywood star kids are that of Munmun and Arbaaz. It is said that Arbaaz is a very close friend with both of Shah Rukh Khan's older children, Aryan and Suhana. Arbaaz, who works as an actor in the industry, is often seen in pictures with them as well as Chunky Pandey's daughter Ananya Panday.
Here is an Instagram photo of Arbaaz chilling with Ananya, Suhana and Ahaan Panday, son of Chunky Pandey.

Arbaaz's official Instagram account is said to be a private one but he is followed by the likes of late legendary actor Irrfan Khan's son, Babil, Pooja Bedi's daughter Alaya F, along with Aryan, and Ananya. It is rumored that Alaya F was actually in a relationship with Arbaaz and was actively a part of the inner circle of the star kids of Bollywood.
Here are some pictures just to show you that.

Apart from Arbaaz being well acquainted with the people from the industry, Munmun Dhamecha too knows a lot of people.

The young fashion model, who reportedly comes from a business family based in Madhya Pradesh, is said to be quite close to a list of Bollywood celebrities.
While the legal process is still underway in the case, a lot of new details regarding the drugs case have come in today. Clearly, this is not great PR for any of them.

Legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar and his family members are among several high-profile Indians who have been named in ‘Pandora Papers’ -- the biggest ever leak, exposing the offshore financial records of some of the world’s richest people, including world leaders, politicians, celebrities, and billionaires.
The former India cricketer along with his wife Anjali Tendulkar and father-in-law Anand Mehta have been named as Beneficiary Owners (BO) and Directors of an offshore company in the British Virgin Islands-based company (BVI) Saas International Limited, said a report in The Indian Express, which was one of several media outlets part of this investigation.
The firm was liquidated in July 2016, three months after the Panama Papers leak.
    View this post on Instagram
The world’s biggest expose of offshore financial assets was done by the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ), which included 150 media outlets in different parts of the world.
“People linked by the secret documents to offshore assets include India’s cricket superstar Sachin Tendulkar, pop music diva Shakira, supermodel Claudia Schiffer and an Italian mobster known as ‘Lell the Fat One’” the ICIJ said in its report as stated by news agency PTI.
The report stated that Tendulkar’s attorney has said that all the investments were legitimate and that the same was declared to the Indian tax authorities.

“Mr Tendulkar’s attorney said the cricket player’s investment is legitimate and has been declared to tax authorities,” it added.

In a country where many consider him the ‘God of Cricket’, watching his name in the world’s biggest financial expose has left people divided.
While some are defending the former cricketer saying he made his investments through legitimate channels and hid nothing from the Indian tax authorities, others are demanding strong action be taken against each and every individual who has been named in the expose.
    Divided Opinions:
Before dragging insulting person like Sachin Tendulkar go through this & @the_hindu it will be better if you remove this post with the thumbnail of sachin Tendulkar & stop defaming him https://t.co/Pw6DEShvvk pic.twitter.com/u2SMqIMqob

Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s son Aryan Khan has been trending for all the wrong reasons. Aryan along with friends Arbaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha was arrested by the NCB for consumption, sale, and purchase of contraband under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, 1985.

After the news started to go viral, celeb started to speak in favour of the star kid. Yesterday, Suniel Shetty came out in support of SRK’s son and asked for a breather for Aryan. At an event, he told ANI, “I would like to say that wherever there is a raid, several people are caught. And we assume that this child must have consumed drugs or this child must have done it. But the proceedings are on, let’s give that child a breather,” he said.
The actor added, “Whenever something happens in Bollywood, the media scrutinizes everything and jumps to conclusions. Give the child an opportunity. Let the real reports come out. Baccha Hai (He’s a kid). Taking care of him is our responsibility.” Suniel faced flak for his statements and was bashed brutally by people on social media.

Yesterday night, Pooja Bhatt also came out in support of Shah Rukh Khan and his family who are going through a tough time. Pooja and SRK have worked together in Chaahat, which was directed by her father Mahesh Bhatt. She took to her Twitter and wrote, “I stand in solidarity with you @iamsrk. Not that you need it. But I do. This too shall pass.”

The tweet hasn’t gone down too well with the people on social media. They are slamming Pooja for defending Aryan and his family. People went on to say that they didn’t expect any better from her as her family has always supported culprits and mentioned the names of Sanjay Dutt and Rhea Chakraborty. One of the Twitter users wrote, “I stand in solidarity with #SameerWankhede and #NCB team. I know he does not need it. This war on drugs needs to intensify and more culprits need to be arrested. This shall not pass, it will become a reality.”

Not just Pooja Bhatt and Suniel Shetty, director Hansal Mehta took to Twitter to support SRK in the situation. Hansal tweeted, "It is painful for a parent having to deal with a child getting into trouble. It gets compounded when people begin to arrive at judgements before the law takes its course. It is disrespectful and unfair to the parent and to the parent-child relationship. With you @iamsrk"

Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan along with two others were on Sunday arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in connection with a rave party taking place on a luxurious cruise ship.
The star 23-year-old son and two others were among eight, including two girls, detained by the NCB and are likely to be presented in front of the magistrate court today.
They were also taken for a medical examination to a government hospital, however, the NCB has not yet made any official statement on the latest development.
    View this post on Instagram
This happened after NCB’s swoop on Saturday evening aboard the Cordelia Cruises deluxe ship which was a scheduled Mumbai-Goa cruise ship.
And now, out of the blue, an old video of SRK and his wife Gauri Khan from Rendezvous with Simi Garewal has gone viral on the internet wherein SRK jokingly says that 'once Aryan becomes 3-4 years old, he will be allowed to chase girls, have *** and drugs.'
When Garewal says that she's sure that SRK will spoil his son, he jokingly makes the abovementioned statement saying that the kid should start early.
    Check out the video here-

Now, the video has gone viral as people are criticizing the Khan family for their involvement in drugs.
Here’s what people have to say about this:
A clip from a #ShahRukhKhan interview by #SimiGarewal when #AryanKhan was all of 3 years 2 months old (in which @iamsrk jokes about what all licences he will allow his son) is doing the rounds on WhatsApp. Amazed at how people discover these nuggets. Social media can be brutal.

    — Jitendra Chacha (@jeetcha19) October 4, 2021Over the years, there have been several reports of celebrities getting caught in drug scandals and shocking their fans.
One such very similar incident is when Gauri Khan’s name popped up in a drug scandal. According to The Free Press Journal, Gauri Khan was caught at Berlin Airport for possession of Marijuana.
However, no official report confirmed her involvement in the matter, and back then, there were reports that also stated that Gauri Khan was a 'drug addict', which she strongly denied in an interview for a leading lifestyle magazine.

SpaceX’s Inspiration4 crew completed the world’s first all-civilian orbital mission last month. Now, the crew have shared images of Earth from their voyage using a professional top-end Nikon camera. However, over the weekend, mission commander Jared Isaacman shared yet another gorgeous image of Earth but what was fascinating about this picture was that it was shot on an iPhone 12.
Apple’s iPhone 12 Series and most recently the iPhone 13 Series are ranked amongst the top camera smartphones in the world. The Cupertino giant has been credited for using the best camera technology; both in terms of hardware and software capabilities. And now, it seems like mission commander Isaacman used that camera technology to his advantage to capture a stunning image from 575 kilometres above the Earth.
    © Twitter_Jared Isaacman
It’s worth pointing out that the image was shot through the all-glass dome built beneath the nose cone of the spacecraft. The Crew Dragon spacecraft was carrying four non-professional astronauts during its three days in orbit.

The unique feature of the spacecraft is that the nose cone opens up for passengers to get panoramic views of Earth through the glass dome. That’s not all though, Isaacman also posted a video while orbiting over Brazil and captured the footage from the iPhone 12 as well.
A video over Brazil from first day on orbit. Shot w/iPhone but hopefully we can get some of @inspiration4x Nikon shots out soon. Such a privilege to see our from this perspective. We need to take far better care of our home planet and also reaching for the stars. pic.twitter.com/mAQw6eK8Ui
    — Jared Isaacman (@rookisaacman) September 25, 2021
We expect more images captured by the crew in the coming weeks especially from both the professional Nikon camera and the iPhone. For now, we’re quite impressed to see the level of details and image quality captured by the iPhone 12 in space.
