    When a celebrity is spotted outside a director's house, speculations of the actor working in one of the films start spreading stat. 

    Ranbir Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan were recently seen entering Jacky Bhagnani's office on Saturday, and since then, there have been rumours that they are all set to cast in Ramayana. 
    It was recently learnt that the two visited Namit Malhotra's office, whose workplace is in the same building as Bhagnani's, to have a meeting for the epic Ramayana.

    Apart from the actors, the magnum opus also has directors Nitesh Tiwari, Namit and Madhu Mantena on board.

    Reports in a leading daily also said that this was the first round of the project, and that they both have been locked for the roles of Raavan and Ram while the makers are still looking for someone to essay the role of Sita.

    Talking about the movie, Madhu Mantena mentioned in an interview, "We're actually telling it in a different manner; we are going to narrate the traditional Ramayan in all its glory. What we all revisited last year was an epic that was told years ago; the feel, and technology were different. We are now using new means to present it on a bigger scale by using the latest technology available. Making a movie on Ramayan presents us an opportunity of a lifetime to tell these stories again.”

    Speaking of the budget, he said, "Initially we didn’t have a budget in mind and even now, there is no figure. Right now we are trying to see how we can tell this epic in all its glory. But when I started the project, I had thought we can make the film for Rs 300 crore, but today, I don’t think that much will be enough to tell this story. It is a continuous process but with Allu (Aravind), Namit (Malhotra), and me collaborating, we will hopefully be successful in presenting a story like this.”

    A source told a leading daily, “This was among their first joint meeting with Hrithik Roshan and Ranbir Kapoor, who play Raavan and Ram respectively. They discussed the massive vision of this project and even the tentative plans of taking it on floors sometime in the second half of next year."

    The news report further added, "Hrithik will be off to Abu Dhabi for the shoot of Vikram Vedha within a fortnight, whereas Ranbir too will gear up to complete director Luv Ranjan’s next, followed by the final 10-day shoot of Brahmastra. Before they get going with other projects, the creative team wanted to meet to discuss some basic stuff around Ramayana."

    If everything goes as planned, this will be the first time the two actors, Hrithik Roshan and Ranbir Kapoor, will be working together in a movie.

    Kartik Aaryan has a huge fan-following and time and again he indulges in talking with his fans on social media.  
    Recently, he did an ‘ask me anything' session on Twitter on Monday night and had quirky things to tell his fans.  
    One of his fans asked him about his new Lamborghini Urus car and he had the most relatable 'middle-class' Indian reply for him that’ll make you laugh.  
    A fan asked him on Twitter, “#AskKartik Bhai Lambo kaisi hai (How is your Lambo, brother?).”  
    Kartik was quick in responding and said, “Average kam deti hai.”

    Earlier, he could be seen driving in a dope-looking BMW, and then he bought a green-coloured Mini Cooper and now, he is the proud owner of a Lamborghini Urus. 

    Kartik also posted a fun video revealing his new car. 
    He captioned the video saying, "Kharid li....Par main shayad mehengi cheezon ke liye bana hi nahi hoon (Bought it, but perhaps I am not made for costly things).”
    The video showed Kartik posing beside the new car. He then gets startled when several balloons start bursting behind the car, showering the area with confetti.

    Kartik has several exciting projects in his pipeline including Freddy, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and Captain India, apart from the much-anticipated crime-thriller Dhamaka. 
    Also, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is set to hit the theatres in March 2022. The film was earlier set to be released in July 2020 but then it was pushed to November 19 due to the second wave of the Coronavirus pandemic.

    The reason why so many people watch the Indian Premier League (IPL) is that the quality of cricket here is found nowhere in the world. Most of the matches are closely fought and go down to the wire, making up for an exciting edge-of-the-seat thriller. 

    However, in the last few days, what has made headlines more than cricket is the poor umpiring. 
    As the tournament nears its culmination, there is no room for any mistakes and while players understand that it can make or break their whole campaign, the match officials seem to have turned a blind eye to this.

    The low-scoring encounter was decided in the last over, with DC overhauling CSK’s total with two balls to spare. 
    With the better side coming out on top, the umpiring mistake didn’t create much buzz on social media but it surely added to the list of poor decisions made by the match officials throughout this edition.

    Miffed with the poor horrendous umpiring call, Gavaskar said that such decisions could decide the fate of any match and so many mistakes by the umpires doesn’t reflect well on the brand of the biggest T20 league in the world -- which prides itself on its top-notch quality.

    With few exceptions, the world’s richest cricket board has failed to produce world-class match officials and the lack of quality umpires has started to hamper the brand image of its most valuable asset -- the IPL.

    It’s high time that the BCCI must start investing in preparing quality umpires to avoid the embarrassment it has to face due to horrendous umpiring decisions.
