Ranbir Kapoor has been linked to many women in the past and this is why he was called the lover-boy of Bollywood. When he made his debut with Saawariya in 2007, women went gaga over his boyish charm. Ranbir is currently dating Alia Bhatt and is celebrating his 39th birthday this year but did you know that he once wanted to get married and have children in his mid-20s.

Yes, you heard it right. He wanted to go the Kylie Jenner way as she was just 20 when she welcomed her first daughter. In a promotional event, Ranbir revealed that he wanted to get settled in his mid-20s. It wasn't just the idea of marriage that was on his mind, he also wanted to be a father.
During a promotional event of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, he said, “We are at times now where we should not give deadlines to marriage, age. When one falls in love, a wedding will happen, then children will happen. I think everything is natural progress.”
But it was Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani director and good friend Ayan Mukerji who told him not to get settled so early as his career was shaping up. Ranbir continued, “This is Ayan’s teaching to me. When I got to know him four years back, I was in a hurry to get married. I said, ‘I want to get married, I want to get married, I want to have children.’ He would tell me, ‘Relax, you’re just starting out your career, meet people, live your life a bit then get married.”

If he had chosen to marry back then, the relationship dynamics in the industry would have been way different.
As he is currently dating Alia, fans have been eagerly waiting to know when the couple will walk the aisle. A day before Ranbir Kapoor's birthday on September 27, he and Alia Bhatt were spotted at the Jodhpur airport. According to reports, the actors jetted off to the Blue City to celebrate Ranbir's birthday and to scout for their wedding venue.
