The moment we hit our teens, skin issues become a major concern, almost for everyone. And when in our mid twenties we think it’s about time to say goodbye to pesky acne and breakouts, hair concerns crop up!
    Well, hello adulthood!
But, does adulting always come at the cost of hair thinning and hair fall? And most, importantly…
Does Hair Fall Mean Balding? For most Indian men, no matter how well you take care of your mane, hair thinning and hair fall leading to male pattern baldness is inevitable. Because everyone isn’t blessed with good genes, you see!
That said, hair loss is a natural process of aging and it’s normal to lose some hair from your scalp each day, about 100 strands. But if you are in your twenties or early thirties and your hair is thinning and shedding faster than usual, you may be balding or experiencing androgenetic alopecia.
But, the good news is that it is treatable and in most cases also preventable.
In this piece, we’ll explore the possible causes and symptoms of balding in men and enlist some successful treatment options.
What Is Androgenetic Alopecia? While we understand baldness as a complete loss or absence of hair from one’s scalp, androgenetic alopecia also called male-pattern baldness in men is a common form of hair loss in which hair is lost in a well-defined pattern. The hair starts thinning and the hairline starts receding above both temples, gradually forming an ‘M’ shape.
According to the American Hair Loss Council, androgenetic alopecia is the cause for 95% of balding cases in men.
5 Therapies For Balding Treatment From oral medication to stimulate hair regrowth to cosmetic and technology-based therapies to reinsert patches of hair into the scalp, there are several treatment options available today for balding. Here are a few successful options you can consider:
    1. Hair TransplantHair transplantation is a surgical mode of hair treatment where the surgeon removes existing hair (grafts), mostly from the back of your head and reinserts it into the bald patches on your scalp.
Clinical studies have shown that about 90-95% of all implanted grafts easily grow in the transplanted area, making hair transplantation a successful and popular mode of male-pattern baldness treatment.
    2. Scalp Expansion This surgical treatment uses a balloon tissue expander to stretch out patches of the scalp where the hair has completely stopped growing. The expander is inserted under the scalp with a surgical procedure and filled with saline for six to ten weeks. The stretched tissue is used to cover bald spots as it usually contains hair. While this procedure may take more than 2-3 sittings and multiple visits to the doctor, one big advantage of scalp tissue expansion is that it generates new hair-bearing scalp.
    3. Flap SurgeryFlap surgery is a more instant option to put hair in bald patches. In this surgical treatment, a flap of skin that has hair is removed from one part of the scalp and added to a bald spot. If there are any gaps left between flaps, they are touched up with hair transplants to give your scalp hair instantly.
    4. Laser TherapyLaser therapy is a more painless and much effective treatment option to stimulate hair growth. Also called red light therapy, this technique uses low energy light pulses, which stimulate hair follicles to promote new hair growth and minimize hair loss.
    5. Protein-Rich Plasma (PRP) InjectionsPRP injection therapy has become one of the most popular ways to treat androgenetic alopecia. This treatment involves taking platelets from your blood in concentrated form and injecting it into bald spots on your scalp. This protein-rich plasma treatment helps promote hair growth.
6 Home Remedies To Prevent Hair FallWhile surgical therapies can best treat bald patches caused due to androgenetic alopecia, there are other lifestyle factors also that can lead to hair fall. If you are experiencing hair loss due to factors such as a diet pattern, lack of sleep, medical conditions, stress, home remedies may help address that concern.
There are some home remedies and natural supplements that you can take to prevent hair loss and also slow down the balding process.
    1. Apply Aloe Vera GelWe know aloe vera as a traditional home remedy to soothe skin concerns but it can do a world of good to your hair as well. Aloe vera gel is packed with protein and vitamins that nourish hair follicles, make them strong and help reduce hair fall.
Aloe vera is also very effective in reducing dandruff and making hair healthy and voluminous.

    2. Use Egg MaskEggs are rich in biotin and vitamin B-complex that help strengthen the roots of your hair. The nutrients and protein in eggs also stimulate new hair growth and improve hair texture. Apart from incorporating eggs in your daily diet you can directly apply egg as a hair mask to strengthen the hair shaft and make it soft and shiny.

    3. Consume Fish Oil Fish oil contains omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids which are superfoods for healthy hair and help nourish the hair from within. It also improves hair quality, makes it thicker and prevents hair fall. Omega 3 also helps boost immunity.

    4. Take Ginseng Ginseng contains ginsenosides, which helps stimulate hair follicles and promote new hair growth. It can be taken as a supplement to provide your hair with the right nutrients.

    5. Apply Onion JuiceAs per studies, onion juice is highly effective in promoting hair growth and slowing down the speed of androgenetic alopecia. It helps improve blood circulation to the hair follicles and promotes keratin production.

    6. Massage With Coconut OilMassaging your scalp with coconut oil can do wonders for your hair. It stimulates the blood circulation and reduces stress, thereby reducing hair fall and promoting hair growth.
Coconut oil also has fatty acids that can penetrate deep through your hair shaft and prevent the loss of protein from your hair, making it silky and shiny.

Oral Medications To Treat Hair FallThere are several oral medical formulations which are known to promote hair regrowth and slow down the process of balding. One of the most effective and popular ones is Minoxidil or Rogaine. It is a topical OTC (over-the-counter medicine) prescription formulation that can be used by men and women both to increase hair regrowth.
Finasteride is another prescription medication that is mostly prescribed for male pattern baldness. It slows down the hair loss process and promotes new hair growth.

Dos & Don’ts To Prevent Hair LossStick to these tips to prevent hair loss and reduce the risk of balding:
Avoid tight hairstyles like ponytails or braids as they can damage your hair follicles.Limit the use of styling tools like straighteners and hair dryers. Overexposure to the heat may cause root damage.Don’t use too many styling products. Keep from over usage of hair wax and hair gels.Eat healthy. A diet that lacks a variety of nutrients may lead to hair loss.Quit smoking as studies have proved that it may lead to hair fall.  If you are undergoing some treatment and start experiencing hair fall, consult your doctor and switch medication.Avoid excessive resistance and weight training exercisesFAQs Around Balding Can Hair Thinning Lead To Balding?Hair thinning may not always lead to balding. Sometimes, the hair shaft grows out thinner than before and falls off, allowing new hair to grow. However, if the hair stops regrowing in scalp areas from where they have fallen off, it may soon lead to balding.
At What Age Does Balding Start?Men can start losing hair as early as 21 years of age. However, it varies from case to case and there is no fixed age when balding starts. But 25% of men who have hair loss due to genetics, start to go bald by the time they turn 21.
How Long Does It Take To Go Bald? While hair thinning might start earlier but it can take anything between 5-25 years for a guy to go completely bald..
Can Wearing Caps Cause Hair Loss?Contrary to popular belief, wearing caps or hats or even frequent shampooing aren’t responsible for balding. However, it comes in handy as a trendy accessory to cover male-pattern baldness.
The BottomlineHope you find this article helpful and it answers most of your questions about balding in men. The way he marshalled his troops on the final day of the fourth Test at The Oval Cricket Ground and guided India to a remarkable victory, skipper Virat Kohli silenced all his critics who were questioning his leadership skills after a heavy loss in Leeds.
Personally, Kohli might not have performed as brilliantly as he did last time around, but he has certainly led the way with his on-field aggression. The whole world took note of Kohli’s tactical awareness on the final day as Indian bowlers took 10 wickets on a docile pitch.
    © Instagram Indian Cricket Team
The ball wasn’t doing much and England openers Rory Burns and Haseeb Hameed had forged a century partnership. Watching their openers do well, the Barmy Army was on a roll, making deafening noises playing various instruments.

The Indian bowlers and fielders knew that the situation was as hostile as it could be but they waited patiently for a breakthrough, for they knew that one wicket was all they needed to get back in the contest.

Shardul Thakur produced a peach of a delivery to send Burns packing, with the scoreboard reading 100 runs. One wicket led to another and the hosts were soon left reeling at 147 for six.

With each wicket, Indian players were inching closer towards yet another memorable triumph and it reflected in their celebration but what stood out the most was Kohli taking a dig at England supporters’ group after Jasprit Bumrah castled him with a brilliant inswinging delivery.
    © Twitter
Having been on the receiving end of their extravagant celebration at Headingley, Kohli gave them a taste of their own medicine when he made a trumpet using both hands and pretended to blow it while pointing it towards them.

Kohli’s gesture left the people divided with many praising the India skipper for his relentless energy, while others saying that it was a bit too much and he was setting wrong examples for the young players who consider him their idol.

The Barmy Army, however, was totally cool with Kohli’s reaction and did not make a fuss about it.

Throughout this season, this popular fan club has left no opportunity to rile up Indian fans but their mature response to Kohli’s animated celebration has, for the first time, earned them the respect of the Indian fans.
We can give it so we can take it so fair play Virat

    See you in Manchester @imVkohli

    — England's Barmy Army (@TheBarmyArmy) September 7, 2021
“We can give it so we can take it so fair play Virat Rolling on the floor laughing. See you in Manchester @imVkohli,” Barmy Army replied, quote-tweeting an article that described Kohli’s gesture as classless.
Who is crying ??we give it and take it so no tears mate
    — Digger of the Digdog (@villatid135) September 7, 2021It's cool,it should remain so,no need to ponder whether it's classy or classless,it's a professional game out there, where emotions gallore from both the fronts, imagine Man U vs Man City derby and supporters from both ends are actually exchanging pleasantries during the match
    — BOARDS DON'T HIT BACK..BUT I WILL.. (@37b77bf60ebf465) September 7, 2021Isn't it a bit too much to ask for...why it should be different for ckt...Barmy Army shouts for England...Virat leads the Indian team...when both ends are fiery...then firework is inevitable...that's exactly what happened..why such serious repurcussions??
    — BOARDS DON'T HIT BACK..BUT I WILL.. (@37b77bf60ebf465) September 7, 2021I think deep down the English fans have alot of respect for Virat kohli. He plays hard and gives a bit but he's committed to test match cricket and he's a class player too. He's not had massive runs yet . Maybe Manchester! England need to battle hard
    — Lord Lucan (@LordLuc41241795) September 7, 2021Very well said.. That's how it has to be.. Give and take.. This is what makes TEST Cricket interesting.. @imVkohli is actually putting life in test Cricket.. #ENGvIND @MichaelVaughan @bhogleharsha @FOXSports
    — Asim Modak (@asim_modak) September 8, 2021It's all good fun. I love that this series matters to both players and fans. I went to world cup game v India at Edgbaston and Indian fans were the best I've come across. Created great atmosphere and were very gracious in defeat.
    — Pewsham Red (@smitherman69) September 7, 2021Former England captain Michael Vaughan, who is known for messing with Indian fans on the micro-blogging site, described Kohli as an “incredible leader” and found nothing wrong with his trumpet celebration.
“Virat Kohli is an incredible leader. He’s just got this buzz of energy. He was taking the piss out of the Barmy Army we these trumpet signs,” Vaughan told Fox Sports.
    © Instagram Indian Cricket team
“I love it. We don’t have enough characters in the game and mimicking the crowd, trying to get his own supporters going. When they came out after lunch he was getting them going. It was like he was at the end of the long jump in the Olympics trying to get the crowd going. He’s an amazing character and yesterday he gave a tactical masterclass on how to win a Test match,” he added.

With this win, the visitors have taken an unassailable 2-1 lead with only one match to go. Drawing a Test series in England would be a big achievement in itself but Kohli is not someone who believes in sharing the spoils. So, expect him to go for the kill in the fifth and final Test in Manchester.

Bharti Singh has always carried herself unabashedly confidently. As she is a comedian, she is often seen making fun of herself and how she looks. But it was early this year that she started to work out and take care of her daily routine.
She didn’t follow any fancy diets and has revealed her secret mantra. She said that during the second lockdown earlier this year, she had no house help at home and Bharti used to find it hard to get going with even regular chores at home.
    View this post on Instagram
In an interview with Indian Express, she said, “When we were doing Khatra Khatra Khatra, I would often talk to all these actors and they mentioned how they would fast long hours. I decided to give it a try. While initially, I would crave food late at night, I worked hard on it and now my body has accepted the new change. I don’t follow any diet, I just don’t eat anything between 7 pm-12 pm. I have my regular parathas, eggs, dal-sabzi, everything I have always liked.”
She has lost 15kg and has come down from 91 to 76kg. She is now two sizes lesser and says that she wants to maintain her weight now. Bharti added, “The last 30-32 years I haven’t taken care of myself, and would eat at odd times. That caused a lot of issues and I was even at borderline diabetes. I also got asthma during my stint on Khatron Ke Khiladi, and would also get tired really easily. Now, having shed my extra kilos I am feeling so much lighter and don’t even have any health issues.”

Bharti also revealed how her husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa missed her old self and keeps saying that he doesn’t like her this thin.
She said, “He keeps saying don’t become too thin, stay cute. He also misses my chubby cheeks and gets irritated when he doesn’t get to pull that. Haarsh is supportive of me but feels I act pricey when I refuse to go for late dinner.”
We have finally got the secret mantra of Bharti and probably this will make people realize the worth of cutting down on junk, and eating at correct hours.

Recently, people trolled Farhan Akhtar’s singing and he finally decided to respond to them. During his appearance on the latest episode of Pinch, Farhan Akhtar addressed the attacks on his singing.

The show’s host Arbaaz Khan read out unflattering comments about his singing and one of the trolls compared Farhan’s singing to thousand croaking frogs. To which Farhan laughed and said, “This is a part of my social service extension. I want people to stay at home and listen to me.”
He also elaborated how people enjoyed his songs from Rock On!, Atrangi Yaari with Amitabh Bachchan and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. He said, “I totally understand that my voice is not a conventional playback singer’s voice. There is a certain quality of work that is associated with playback singing. My skill level or tone is not in that vicinity. So I don’t sing for other people. I absolutely enjoy it, and I am not apologetic about it at all.”
    View this post on Instagram
He said, “I was a big fan of Amitabh Bachchan. I got scared when I saw him in Don. I said this is my hero, and he is such a vicious, mean person. I told Zoya (sister Zoya Akhtar), that Don is such an amazing film and it would translate so well into today’s time. Zoya said, ‘I should remind you that you’re a director, why don’t you make it?”
Arbaaz also talked about the fact that people keep bringing up Don 3, as they’re waiting for Farhan to make the film. Farhan laughed and responded saying that they talk about Don 3 on condolence tweets.
He said, “When I’m writing deepest condolences, someone says, ‘let that go, when are you making Don 3?’ They can’t even give the respect that someone has passed away, at least leave that tweet alone.”

Farhan said, “I find it incredible that whatever happened between Salim saab and us, it never trickled down to us. I never knew when the split happened. As years went by, I saw Salim Saab wasn’t coming home and that we weren’t going over to his place.”
Arbaaz also said that this rift didn't come down to him and Farhan as they have always been on good terms.

There's no shortage of bizarre events on the internet these days to keep us entertained. And recently, people were left stunned after seeing a clip of a young boy sitting rather comfortably in a big pot filled with boiling water.
He is seen sitting in the seemingly hot water with folded hands in the 30-second clip that has now garnered more than one lakh views.
In the clip, while the people watching are astounded, the boy is absolutely unaffected by the supposedly searing temperature of the water.
This went viral after a Twitter user Sandeep Bisht shared the clip and captioned it, “This is 2021 India."

Many were impressed by the young boy's stunt of sitting in boiling hot water with no visible discomfort. However, some users called out the clip and said the video is fake.
One user also spoke about a water pump being made to show an illusion of boiling water. Another one said that this is a common magic trick with scientific explanation.
One more Twitter user wrote, "This is cheating of the highest order..no way that there is no steam being produced or the petals not being disturbed in the pot.”
It's not clear where this video was taken, but it has gone viral for sure. The more extended version of this clip was posted on YouTube in 2019 with a caption that said, "Boy sitting in a bowl filled with boiling water with fire under it.”
    Check out the video here.

Here's how people on Twitter reacted to it.

Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan has been in the headlines since yesterday. Well, not for some match but for a rocky innings that has hit his personal life. His wife Ayesha Mukherjee posted on her social media, announcing their divorce after being married for over eight years.

    View this post on Instagram
Shikhar and Ayesha met online and love blossomed courtesy the power of social media. It was love at first sight for Shikhar and after finding out that Harbhajan Singh is a mutual friend, he sent her a friend request. Ayesha is an Indian who moved to Australia when she was still young. Both Shikhar and Ayesha are into sports and she is also a qualified kickboxer. Ayesha is reportedly ten years older to Shikhar and was previously divorced when they met.

While the couple had to face some societal prejudices, Shikhar’s mother and his friends stood by him. The couple married in an intimate ceremony which was attended by their close family and friends. They juggled their relationship and distance between Australia and India and their son Zorawar was born in 2014.

Not much is known about their divorce and the cricketer has not spoken about it yet. While it’s always heartbreaking to witness a love story ending, one has to allow the couple the power to make their own decision and decide the fate of their relationship.

Xiaomi India may have struck gold with the new Mi Notebook Ultra as it has everything I need from a laptop. In fact, Xiaomi went a step further and fixed everything that I considered to be problematic about last year’s laptop lineup from the company. This time, it has a webcam, it has thunderbolt ports and to top it off, the Mi Notebook Ultra has a spectacular display. I’ve been using Xiaomi’s latest laptop for my work for the past few weeks and here’s how I feel about it:
Design From afar, the Mi Notebook Ultra looks very much like Apple’s MacBook Pro. That’s not surprising though as Xiaomi has been borrowing many design cues from the Cupertino giant for a range of its portfolio. However, I do have to say that this is by far the best design implementation by Xiaomi so far.
    © MensXP/Akshay Bhalla
The laptop has the same all-metal aluminium chassis and branding as Apple’s MacBooks that sometimes even fooled me when the two laptops were put next to each other. However, the Mi Notebook Ultra is fairly lighter and has more rounded edges than its MacBook counterparts. The laptop uses a 15.6-inch IPS LCD display which has a refresh rate of 90Hz.

    © MensXP/Akshay Bhalla
As for ports, Xiaomi finally decided to use Thunderbolt 4 and USB-C ports for data transfers and charging purposes. On the right side, you will find a USB-A 3.2 port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. On the left side, you will find the two USB-C ports, an HDMI 2.0 port and another USB-A 3.2 port. While I do like the fact that Xiaomi has two USB-C ports on the laptop, I would have preferred one of them to be on the right side. This would give users the freedom to use either port for charging or transferring according to how they are positioned in proximity to a power outlet.

    © MensXP/Akshay Bhalla
One of the biggest missed opportunities was that the laptop does not come with an ethernet port. While that will be disappointing to many, Xiaomi instead opted to offer WiFI 6 connectivity. There is also a 720p webcam on the top bezel of the display which was entirely missing from last year’s models. And finally, the Mi Notebook Ultra also has a fingerprint sensor on the top right corner that is embedded into the power button. It’s very similar to Apple’s implementation of the fingerprint sensor, however in the Mi Notebook Ultra’s case, it is far more prominent.

    © MensXP/Akshay Bhalla
While the overall design of the laptop is a major improvement from last year’s models, Xiaomi did commit a cardinal sin by using downward-firing speakers. When using the speakers on the Mi Notebook Ultra, you will notice that every sound is heavily muffled and isn’t clear even one bit. If you like to watch movies and TV shows on your laptop, I highly recommend investing in good earphones or a Bluetooth speaker. I would have preferred if Xiaomi used some form of upward or side-firing speakers for clarity purposes but that still remains a dream.

Overall, the design of the Mi Notebook Ultra is at par with most premium laptops released in 2021. I genuinely prefer the premium design of the laptop this year as it gets many things right. Sure, there are minor gripes such as downward-firing speakers and no USB-C port on the right side of the laptop, but I can live with these shortcomings.
Display The first thing you will fall in love with is the 15.6-inch IPS LCD display (3200 x 2000 pixels) the Mi Notebook Ultra uses. In fact, I still can’t believe how Xiaomi managed to use such a high-grade panel given how much it costs. The display is perfect for watching video content and browsing the web which wasn’t the case with the previous laptop. The display is also very bright which means you can easily use it at an outdoor cafe without straining your eyes or facing any glare.
    © MensXP/Akshay Bhalla
While the colour accuracy is fantastic for casual video viewing, it isn’t entirely accurate enough for graphic designers. Sure, if you have some casual video/image editing to do then this display will get the job done. However, even though the display is calibrated for full sRGB coverage, I would still recommend the MacBook Pro lineup or an external display with better colour accuracy for professional graphic designers.

    © MensXP/Akshay Bhalla
The display has a refresh rate of 90Hz which can be toggled by using the ‘Fn+S’ shortcut. While the laptop isn’t meant for hardcore gaming, you can take full advantage of higher frames in games like DOTA 2 and CS: GO. I found it most useful when watching F1 online as it was a far smoother experience than I expected. If you like to watch a lot of sports on your laptop, it doesn’t hurt to have a higher refresh rate display to avoid aliasing issues.

Keyboard and Trackpad  © MensXP/Akshay Bhalla
The Mi Notebook Ultra also uses one of the nicest keyboards I’ve seen on a Windows laptop. While it is a chiclet keyboard, it has a 1.5 mm key travel that makes typing a delight. The keyboard isn’t noisy either which is great for home/office use. You get used to the keyboard right away as it isn’t cramped up, however I did feel that the Redmibook offers better comfort. You will also be happy to know that the keyboard is now backlit which means you can now work in darker environments without any additional light. Having said that, there are only two levels of backlighting to choose from.

    © MensXP/Akshay Bhalla
Xiaomi has also taken criticism of last year's laptop's trackpad well and has definitely improved on it further. The trackpad does not feel cheap nor does it have any friction. Last year’s laptop caused my fingers to get fatigued after using the trackpad for five minutes, but that is not the case with the Mi Notebook Ultra. Having said that, I would have liked the trackpad to be slightly larger than what it is right now. Xiaomi has also improved the clicking function of the trackpad with this model as last year’s model felt outright awkward to use.

Performance The Mi Notebook Ultra is powered by an 11th Gen i7-11370H processor that has a maximum clock speed of 4.8GHz. The processor has been paired with up to 16GB of 3200 MHz RAM and up to 512GB of NVMe SSD.
    © MensXP/Akshay Bhalla
For professionals and college students, the Mi Notebook Ultra’s performance is ideal for handling moderate tasks such as running several Chrome tabs, Excel Sheets and Microsoft office. The laptop can handle multiple apps running in the background fairly well and it doesn’t get too hot either. I could also easily run Adobe’s Photoshop fairly well and did not experience any hard crashes or throttling during the review period.

    © MensXP/Akshay Bhalla
In PC Mark 10’s benchmark test, the Mi Notebook Ultra scored a respectable 4901 and 5297 in Geekbench 5’s multi-core benchmark test. The PC Mark 10 test is a bit more reliable representation of the laptop’s capabilities as it emulates a typical workflow of an average user. The test runs multiple Office apps, GIMP and video-conferencing apps to determine the overall score. As for the 512GB NVMe SSD, in CrystalDiskMark the laptop scored read and write speeds of 2,394MB/s and 1,549MB/s respectively.

Battery Life The Mi Notebook Ultra comes with a 70Wh battery that can last up to 12 hours according to Xiaomi. Realistically, with typical workflows, the laptop lasts for about 8 hours in total which isn’t bad considering my workflow is slightly more demanding than the average user. What’s great is that the laptop supports 65W PD charging which means you aren’t restricted to using the charger supplied by the company. In fact, I didn’t even bother taking out the charger and instead used the Stufcool Centurion instead. The laptop would get a 50% charge in about 48 minutes which is quite impressive considering the size of the battery.

If you’ve ever scrolled through LinkedIn in a desperate attempt to find a job (we’ve all been there done that), you know how tedious it is.

Coming across the perfect job posting for a role that pays you well and meets your professional competencies is like finding a needle in the haystack.
However, sometimes, you find totally bizarre and outrageous job descriptions that make you either ROFL or confused.

A user on Reddit found something similar while scavenging through the job postings.

The company has posted an opportunity for a research role at a think tank (as mentioned by the user in the comments) which came with a very specific and unusual requirement for candidates. One of the pointers said that the candidate should have “high level of personal integrity and good family background.”

For people who have sat through a few interviews know that sometimes recruiters do ask questions about your family during the interaction. They ask about what your parents and siblings do, maybe to get a better idea of your social status, but is it really required?

It is probably a very common practice and a lot of interviewers ask about the candidate’s family background but mentioning it in the requirements is a bit too much. It sounds more like a matrimonial ad than a job posting.

Are they looking for a perfect match for their daughter?

Desis on Reddit were confused and pointed out that it seems like they are not looking for an employee but a son-in-law or daughter-in-law. Some said it is very common in the job market in India but no one is really sure why family background matters for someone working professionally in the company, unless it is a ‘bring your family to work’ day in office.

Here are some of the replies from the users who found the requirement completely bizarre and redundant.

“At this point finding life partner and finding job are the same skill set,” a user wrote.
Another said, “Are they looking for son-in-law by chance?”
One user wrote, “Please tell me they pay salary on par with FAANG... Otherwise they are just delusional idiots…”

What do you think about this weird requirement? Would you apply?

Whenever you hear about a couple getting divorce, what’s the first thought that comes to your mind? ‘Failed Marriage’… right?
You might not know the couple personally but you sure start getting judgmental and quite conveniently label them as a ‘Failed Couple’, just because they decided to part ways.
And this very thought makes people -- be it normal folk like us or a celebrity -- afraid of listening to their inner soul and deciding what’s good for their well-being.
It makes them feel guilty about their decisions and, to an extent, themselves and the same thing happened with Aesha Mukerji, ex-wife of Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan, whom she was married to for over eight years.

Sharing her ordeal on Instagram, Aesha penned an emotional post explaining the sea of emotions she experienced while making such a big decision.

“I felt as if I had let everyone down and even felt selfish. I felt that I was letting my parents down, I felt that I was letting my children down and even to some extent I felt as if I was letting God down. Divorce was such a dirty word,” Aesha wrote on Instagram.
“So now imagine, I have to go through it a second time. Woooahhhhhh. That is terrifying. Being divorced once before already, felt like I had more at stake the second time round. I had more to prove. So when my second marriage broke down it was really scary. All the feelings I felt when I went through it the first time came flooding in. Fear, failure and disappointment x 100. What does this mean for me? How does this define me and my relationship to marriage?” she added.

For the initiated, this was Aesha's second marriage and going through a divorce for the second time in her life, she was “extremely scared”. She felt guilty about it thinking she was letting her parents, children and God down.
The decision to be in a marriage or walk out of it should concern none but the two people involved. However, in our society, where marriage is considered to be a ‘sacred bond’ that is meant to last even beyond this life, anyone who tries to challenge this bond is labelled as blasphemous.

Believe it or not, divorce is the last resort. It only happens when the couple has tried everything to save their marriage but failed to make it work. And all this is done just because they feel guilty about letting their loved ones down.

The reason why Dhawan and Aesha have decided to part ways is not known to anyone. But read some of the social media comments and you would realise people have already made their mind about who the guilty party is.

While sympathising with the Indian opener, some toxic people are pointing fingers at Aesha for their divorce, which once again proves how difficult it is for women to deal with such things.
Rather than being judgmental and passing on unnecessary remarks about someone’s personal life, the world would be a better place if they mind their own business and let them live in peace.

View this post on InstagramShe wrote, “The first time @anandahuja and I stepped foot into our flat it instantly felt like home! It’s a two-and-a-half bedroom space nestled in Notting Hill, and perfect for where we are in our lives at present. Upon seeing the space, we knew right away @rooshadshroff would bring to life a particular vision I had for the space. As always, Rooshad and I very much enjoyed collaborating together. He is highly adept in curating a space tailored to someone’s needs and individual design taste. Colour was a big requirement for me, and furthermore, he helped bring to fruition my vision to create a more outdoor feel on the inside, rich in greens, blues and jewel tones, etc. My taste and leanings have become far more eclectic over the years, with a need to incorporate warm textures, fabrics, wallpapers with vintage carpets, and chandeliers. I truly desired a delicate balance between modernist art and furniture that strongly mirrors my Indian heritage. Being away from home can be hard at times, and so Rooshad did a marvelous job of marrying British architecture with the Indian aesthetic and richness. While India is my soul, London has my heart.”
