Yes, we have always dreamed of the days where we work from home, stay in our PJs all day long and get to snack while doing it all.
But now that we have it, does it really feel like a dream come true?
Not really. In fact, this kind of lifestyle is only increasing lethargy and laziness in us.
Like it or not, movement and exercise is not just important for your physical, but mental health also. It can make you feel productive, healthy and happy.
If you’ve been a victim of such a lifestyle, you know that sometimes, it simply is too much.
It’s finally time to make a change and we’re here to help you through it.
Causes Of Lethargy Lethargy is a state of tiredness, fatigue and lack of energy. A lot of factors, from what you eat to your daily lifestyle habits, have a direct impact on your energy levels. Before we discuss how you can beat lethargy or extreme fatigue, let’s go through some of the major causes:
1. Poor Diet First and foremost, eating good quality foods, in the right amount, is extremely crucial for better energy throughout the day. Certain habits like eating too many refined carbohydrates, not eating enough or eating too much junk food, are some common causes of fatigue.
__ECOMPRODUCT__749__
The SolutionIf you want to be more active, you can start by improving your food habits. From consuming more fruits and vegetables to eating more whole foods, these small changes can have a huge impact on your energy levels.

2. Dehydration The second most important cause is dehydration. Water is needed for everything, from the most basic body functions to the most complex ones. Hydration is also important for keeping your body cool and energized during hotter weathers.
__ECOMPRODUCT__2333__
The Solution Even though any kind of liquid helps in hydrating your body, nothing beats water. Make sure that you always carry a water bottle and keep sipping on it throughout the day.
3. Lack Of Sleep When it comes to sleep, the quality and quantity are equally important. Emotional stress, late night snacking, blue light exposure and lack of exercise are some of the important factors that affect your sleep patterns.
__ECOMPRODUCT__1209__
The Solution The solution is simple, you need to improve your lifestyle and make sure that you get at least eight hours of sleep. Sleeping early and sticking to a routine helps in regulating your body’s internal clock. This helps in improving your both, the quality and quantity of the sleep.

You can read more about the best practices for better sleep here and apply them.
4. Caffeine Overload Wait, isn’t coffee supposed to give us an energy boost? Well, that’s true but it can also make you dependent on it. In fact, too much caffeine can also affect your blood pressure, make you anxious, restless and jittery.
__ECOMPRODUCT__2334__
The Solution As long as you don’t overindulge in coffee, you’re good to go. Having upto 400 mg. Of caffeine per day is safe for an average adult. In other words, limit your coffee intake to upto 4 cups a day and you should be fine.
__ECOMPRODUCT__2335__
5. Underlying Physical/Mental Conditions Certain mental or physical conditions like hyper or hypo thyroidism, depression, sleep apnea, etc., could be a reason behind extreme fatigue or lack of energy. If you suspect this could be the case, please consult a professional to help you.
The Bottomline Feeling easily fatigued or inactive is extremely common, especially while working or studying from home. Being stuck in a cycle of feeling lazy but not doing anything about it isn’t fun for any of us. If you do want to break this cycle, go ahead and follow our tips.

When only 64% of women say they had an orgasm in their last sexual encounter, and a whopping 91% of men had it their way, we know there is a problem. In fact, some researchers peg the orgasm inequality at a far, far higher number.
Porn, mainstream media, and movies comprise most Gen Z & Millennials' source of information when it comes to ***. But clearly, men have been doing it all wrong if most women don't even orgasm.
So behold, all men! As the world celebrates female orgasm day earlier this week, Skore has decided to make you more ‘cliterate’!
Presenting The Cliteracy Drive - an initiative to educate Indian men about the female clitoris - aka the house of female orgasms. This drive will tell you everything you need to know about pleasure, stimulation, and how to have a great fu**ing night!
But, first, what is a clitoris, really?
We all know it as an organ that gives us sexual pleasure. But do you really know where it is?
Well, according to a 2013 research report, 44% of men said that they can’t find a clitoris. Or even if they find one, they are not quite sure of what to do with it in order to make a woman orgasm. Shocking, right?
So, we decided it’s time to spread ‘Cliteracy’ and have put together 5 fun (yet informative) facts about the clitoris that will help you navigate through the body of your lady love!
Read on friends, this will definitely come in handy!
A clitoris is two times more sensitive than a *****With over 8000 nerve endings, the clitoris is touted to be two times more sensitive than the *****!
Giphy
It’s not a button, it’s an iceberg! We didn’t say it, artist Sophia Wallace did, in her piece called ‘Cliteracy’ in 2015. The clitoris is much bigger than most people think and only a quarter of it is visible.
A clitoris literally exists to make a woman feel goodUnlike a *****, the only function of a clitoris is to give you orgasms. No reproduction, no urination - no other use. Just pleasure, friend. Just pleasure.
Over 75% of women need clitoral stimulation to achieve orgasmWhile there is more than one kind of orgasm in women, they are much harder to achieve as opposed to clitoral stimulation. And Skore has just the right product for this. Skore’s Oh! Pleasure Gel has been specially formulated to increase the sensitivity of her intimate areas and intensify her climax. Just a few drops and you’re ready to go.
Giphy
Female orgasms last three times more than male orgasmsClitoral stimulation can give you an orgasm that can last for over 30 seconds. Contrary to that, a male orgasm lasts for not more than 10 seconds tops.
And did you know, when it comes to *** or foreplay, they say that wetter is better? So, to up the game in your bedroom, it’s time to step out of the box. Oh! Pleasure Gel truly ticks all the boxes.
Are you ready to up your bedroom game?

Every zodiac sign in astrology has its own sexual identity, one that can be explored if you know enough about the likes, dislikes, quirks and kinks of the star signs.
And in case you’re looking to add that extra and magical touch to your sexual escapades, knowing what does and doesn’t turn your partner on can pretty much come in handy (among other things of course, if you know what I mean..).
Think of it as a whisper from the universe, the kind that can make your partner reach for the stars in the bedroom.

A person’s sun sign dominates his personality with a select few qualities and instincts which, if you know well enough, can drive them right to the edge of pleasure. After all, it’s not necessary that what works to get your engine revving will also get your partner going.
So, to not dive headfirst into this sexual abyss without an ounce of knowledge, here is all you need to know about every zodiac sign’s turn-ons! Get a pen and paper out, guys:
1. Aries © iStock
The first sign on the list and one with the highest *** drive, nothing gets an Aries going like an unexpected hook-up or a quickie.
They love being caught off-guard because it adds an extra layer of thrill, be it through an unexpected sext in the middle of the day, or a quick sesh in a public washroom.
2. Taurus © iStock
Taureans are all about romance and sensuality and so, their biggest turn on can be anything that makes them feel sexy.
Candles? Yes. Dim lights and *** playlist? Yes, yes! Luxury satin sheets and handcuffs on the bed? Hell yesss!
3. Gemini © iStock
The quick-witted zodiac sign that often oscillates between two personalities can be swept off the feet by anything that is unconventional.
Think of experiments, variety and fantasies. Basically, getting freaky in bed!
4. Cancer © iStock
The ever-loving and caring sign on the list, a weak spot for a Cancerian will always be big romantic gestures.
They like to be cuddled, kissed deeply and shown great affection to get the waterworks down there started.
5. Leo © iStock
Energetic and always joyful, Leos are known for being spirited and that is exactly what turns them on as well.
They like to be flirted with, teased and given loads and loads of attention. That ought to get them going.
6. Virgo © iStock
Virgos can be flattered in the bed easily by taking things slow and putting a lot of attention on every part of the process.
The foreplay plays a major role in exciting them and they might even get turned on by turning you on!
7. Libra © iStock
Libras may be known for being poised and sophisticated but nothing turns them on like some spunk in the bed.
From spanking to dirty talk, ones having this zodiac sign are all about turning the tables in the bed and having fun.
8. Scorpio © iStock
It is observed that those falling under this sign are rather erotic and intimate.
They like to be surprised during *** and are up for raw magnetic and urgent ***. All they need to keep going is chemistry and lots of sparks!
9. Sagittarius © iStock
The downside to a Sagittarius is usually that they get easily bored. However, there is no way that one cannot be turned into a pro!
Sagittarius' love it when they get to experiment with something new in bed and constantly reinvent themselves to not fall victim to monotony.
10. Capricorn © iStock
Capricorns always like to operate in a power-play and that is what keeps them on the edge of excitement and pleasure. They like to be in charge, drive the act and are big on the whole dom/sub roleplay.
11. Aquarius © iStock
If you have to get an Aquarius all sexed up and turned on, all you have to do is be as unabashed as they are. Unafraid of anything and always down to go against convention, Aquarians like to be free-spirited in bed.
12. Pisces © iStock
The emotional ones from the list, the best way to spice it up with a Piscean is by forming a deep and meaningful connection either through an intimate conversation, lingering kisses or by simply indulging in some old-school poetry.

Ranu Mondal had become an overnight sensation after a video of her singing ‘Ek Pyaar Ka Nagma Hai’ at a railway station went viral. Later, she got a break from Himesh Reshammiya for singing a song with him.
Similarly, a few days ago, a video of a young boy named Sahdev Dirdo singing Bachpan Ka Pyaar in school went viral on the internet.
Soon, the song was being used by social media influencers, celebrities, and many other people as well. People started making Instagram reels and videos and later, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel felicitated the boy.
View this post on InstagramAnd now just after a few weeks of going viral, the little kid got his big break with Badshah, Aastha Gill, Rico, and Hiten in a music video.
He can be seen in a full rapper avatar in the song and the song just dropped on the internet.
Check out the video here-
Here’s what people have to say about it –

Earlier, in a report by a leading daily, it was also found out that the little boy lost his mother at the age of 8 and the loss affected him badly. At school, during the Republic Day celebration at school, his teacher pointed the camera towards him and he started singing the song. He randomly sang the song Bachpan Ka Pyar and then everyone forgot about it. But somehow the video surfaced two years later and the rest is history.

Petrol and diesel rates in the country have sharply increased burning a hole in ‘aam-aadmi’s’ pocket. Not just the commoners, celebrities also are having a hard time getting their fuel tanks refilled. We already are tackling with COVID and government is adding one more stress to our lives.
Actor Richa Chadha just gave us a reality check and shared how much she paid for a full tank and it’s crazy. She ended up spending Rs 7855 on fuel. She took to Instagram to share the receipt and wrote, “Just filled fuel. ₹7855 for a full tank.” In an earlier tweet, she took a dig at the government and wrote, “WOW! Just so much wow. Who to thank for this ?”
Here are her tweets:

People also echoed similar emotions and said that country is being butchered economically. One of the users even went on to say that the EMI of 50% financed cars would be lower than getting a full tank.
Here are their reactions:

We completely relate to these emotions because it’s hard to keep up with the inflation of fuel prices very often as now it has even crossed the Rs 100 mark per litre.
There are a few people who trolled Richa for being an attention-seeker by sharing the receipt but it hardly matters to Richa. In one of the interviews, she had said, “There are two sets of trolls. One who troll you for your opinions and others who are trolls for hire, who are these two rupees trolls. The latter I don't pay any attention to because there is a lot of unemployment and they earn by trending hashtags with the same spelling mistakes. The former wants you to be vocal about everything, even if you don't know about it, who indulge in a lot of whatabouteries and want to reprimand you.”
She had further said, “In the end, a troll is a troll be it from the right-wing ecosystem or the left-wing and I really don't care about them. In fact, trolls make me very famous. I think trolls don't understand how much they help us unknowingly."
We completely agree with Richa.

Chris Hemsworth had always been a superfit actor, however, from being called 'skinny Chris' in the movie Guinevere Jones to playing the Asgardian God Thor in the Avengers franchise, the Aussie heartthrob has come a long way. He’s often considered the de facto benchmark for impressive physiques on the silver screen.
Closer to home, in the southern peninsula of our country reside several Indian Gods who are no less than the Avenger from down under.
These south Indian heroes have shown that we’re no less when it comes to physiques that can put the world’s best to shame.
Here are 5 South Indian stars who can give Chris Hemsworth a run for his money when it comes to muscles:
1. Arya Born Jamshad Cethirakath, Arya’s latest tryst as Kaliban has left us seriously impressed. While he’s always been a great actor, his rippling physique stood out in Sarpatta Parambarai.
With each sinew and fibre of his body visible during the boxing sequences, he’s close to what looks like peak human performance.
Gyms in the country will soon be bustling with men who want to look like the hulking actor.

2. Rana Dagubatti The immensely talented Rana Dagubatti has shown his command of his craft by the sheer versatility of roles he plays.
He impressed everyone with his sinister take on Bhallala Deva from Baahubali. But what really caught people’s attention was the imposing figure that Rana Dagubatti had become.
His body was jaw-dropping and even though there was a generous use of CGI in Baahubali, he made all the outlandish stunts seem humanly possible, all thanks to the hard work and the dedication he put into building his physique.
View this post on Instagram
3. Bharath Srinivasan Gone are the days where he was considered a chocolate boy, an image that stuck with him after his debut film Boys in 2003.
Nowadays, he’s seen sporting a muscular figure that can put the best to shame, as he is ripped beyond belief.
4. Prabhas The moment he picked up the humongous Shiv Ling with his bare hands in Baahubali was when he had introduced himself to the world as an Indian demi-god.
Prabhas’ Baahubali redefined expectations of what a leading hero’s physique should look like when it comes to the entire genre.
5. Prithviraj Sukumaran He’s a chameleon in an actor’s body, such is his acting range. However, he’s one of the few actors in the Malayalam film industry to sport a muscular physique, at a time when no one else was.
Prithviraj Sukumaran may look like an endearing and gentle individual with his shirt on, but without it, he looks like a Greek God.
Which other South Indian superstar do you think can give Chris Hemsworth a run for his money?

Having won India its first-ever Olympic gold medal in athletics, star javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra returned home to a grand fanfare, with people flocking the Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi to catch a glimpse of the country’s new poster boy.
Huge welcome of Olympic Champion #NeerajChopra at Delhi Airport today pic.twitter.com/ntoC9oKvB0
— Athletics Federation of India (@afiindia) August 9, 2021
From the Indian government to the Indian Army, several felicitation ceremonies were conducted to honour the country’s golden boy, whose throw of 87.58m etched his name in the history of Indian sports as he ended the country’s wait for an Olympic medal in athletics by winning a gold medal in men’s javelin throw.
General Bipin Rawat #CDS applauded Subedar Neeraj Chopra and complimented him for his phenomenal performance in #OlympicGames, #Tokyo2020 that brought laurels to the Nation.#IndianArmy#StrongAndCapable pic.twitter.com/dlfPXj8sVk
— ADG PI - INDIAN ARMY (@adgpi) August 10, 2021
After returning, Neeraj, who is a Junior Commissioned Officer in the Rajputana Rifles, met with the Chief of Defense Staff General Bipin Rawat and Army chief General MM Naravane along with his family members.
© Reuters
It’s time for each one of us to celebrate Neeraj’s achievement but instead, some morons on social media are hell-bent on talking about everything but that.
Last week, they even dug up his old tweets and began a campaign against him just because his political ideology is in contrast to theirs and now, they have a problem with the attire he was wearing.
General MM Naravane #COAS also congratulated the family members of Subedar Neeraj Chopra on his stupendous performance. (2/2)#IndianArmy#StrongAndCapable pic.twitter.com/7ciroyUlg1
— ADG PI - INDIAN ARMY (@adgpi) August 10, 2021
When Neeraj met with the top Indian Army officials, he was wearing the India jersey along with cargo pants and sports shoes and some toxic people, instead of congratulating the athlete, decided to make an issue about his appearance.
Some people are like that, they are never happy with anything and just love to complain about everything, whether it concerns them or not, because their prime objective is to make the environment toxic with their negative comments.
I think issue might not be about him not wearing uniform.
It must be about him wearing folded cargo pants while meeting the CDS & the General in their office.
— Shreekant SN (@Shreekant_SN) August 11, 2021He needn’t have met them in uniform. A mufti with blazer, cropped hair and shoes (with socks) would’ve been more than enuf ;) No saluting reqd there ...
— Lie Doggo (@ben10jt) August 11, 2021Thankfully, not everyone is like them and there are many sane-minded people who are ready to show these toxic people their true place:
Twitter is that place that has a problem with Neeraj Chopra not being in uniform for his Army ceremonials when even the Army doesn’t have an issue, and has clearly made an exception for the Olympic hero.
— Shiv Aroor (@ShivAroor) August 11, 2021 “Twitter is that place that has a problem with Neeraj Chopra not being in uniform for his Army ceremonials when even the Army doesn’t have an issue, and has clearly made an exception for the Olympic hero,” wrote journalist Shiv Aroor on the micro-blogging site.
The people who have a problem cannot even win a gold medal at school level competition.
To give their words any weight would be as useful as Rahul Gandhi as an MP in Amethi.
— Samu Rai (@SamuraiSpeakin) August 11, 2021Winners focus on winning, losers focus on winners. #NeerajChopra
— राजीव (@ThePlenipotent) August 11, 2021It's between the person who won the gold medal and Army. Even CEO of twitter has no right to tell what is right vs wrong. Let other twitter gurus with free wifi data. Khud to ghar baith ke half pant me office ka kaam kar rahe honge.
— FrustratedCitizen (@FrustratedCit11) August 11, 2021Ever since he won a gold in Tokyo, Neeraj has become the most sought after personality in the country and when he returned home, he had to attend one event after the other.
On top of that, the race to get an exclusive interview with him began among the media houses and we all know how tiring that could be for any celebrity. But still, he did his best and entertained everyone.
© Reuters
It’s a pity that instead of celebrating his achievement some people are spending their energy on things that don't matter at all. This is not a one-off instance and we definitely need to learn how to treat our champions better.

There are many industries in which women have suffered inequality, especially regarding the pay gap.
This disparity due to the existence of the patriarchal system has been a part of Bollywood too, where from time to time, female actors have spoken out about the stark difference in their fee compared to their male counterparts.
Here's how some of Bollywood's biggest stars have raised their voices and demanded equal pay:
1. Taapsee Pannu © Instagram/Taapsee Pannu
Taapsee Pannu, who has given some mind-blowing movies in the recent past, has been upfront about the existing wage gap. She went on to say that when a man demands money, he gets it. Whereas when a female does it, they are considered 'demanding'.
She further added in an interview, "You will always read about this issue about hike in salary when it comes to women. But why not? She is one of the biggest female superstars we have in the country. If she commands a certain salary for her time, it's her job. Do you think any other mythological characters that are played by men, do you think they do it for free? I don't think so."
2. Deepika Padukone[Video] Deepika Padukone talks about experiencing gender pay disparity in Bollywood at the launch of 'The Dot That Went For A Walk'
(Tfs @TeamDeepikaMY_ ) pic.twitter.com/BAqTAhoa3G
— Deepika Padukone FC (@DeepikaPFC) January 17, 2019
If are rumours are to be believed, Deepika walked out of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's next project over demanding equal pay as her husband.
Earlier, speaking on the same issue, she had said in an interview, "I know my track record and what I'm worth. I know that my co-actor's films haven't been doing well as my films have been doing. It made absolutely no sense. I was okay to say no to that film based on that one thing as I thought it was unfair."
3. Sonam Kapoor © Instagram/Sonam/Kapoor
Sonam Kapoor has also been firm about the pay disparity in the industry. On Karan Johar's chat show, she spoke about how Kareena and her do good movies and still do not get paid as much. She further added, "I think it is about time, as women, as actors, as artists that we get our due."
4. Vidya Balan © Instagram/Vidya Balan
Vidya Balan, who has given immaculate performances in movies like Kahaani, Sherni etc, vowed to bring the disparity to an end. As per reports, Vidya had said, "We were always part of a male-dominated society. But now with films and TV, there seems to be a prominent shift now and perhaps it is going to be a female-dominated society."
Several women-centric movies have served society well, and females are not just a mere treat for the eyes. She further said, "There is a huge pay disparity between males and females in Bollywood. But I'm sure with time, this gap would reduce. We will definitely fight to bridge this gap."
5. Aditi Rao Hydari © Instagram/Aditi Rao Hydari
In an interview, Aditi had said that women work as hard as men do, and despite that, they get paid less.
She said, "I don't really understand why we are paid less than the male actors because we put equal efforts and recent past has shown that actresses can deliver a hit film. We deserve better pay, equal to what actors get."
6. Priyanka Chopra Jonas © Instagram/Priyanka Chopra Jonas
Even though Priyanka has spread her wings overseas, the global star suffered a wage gap too. Isn't that shocking? She said, "I don't like the fact that I get paid much less than the boys. I don't like the fact that the disparity is so massive."
Not just female stars, but even male actors have raised their voices against disparity.
7. Arjun KapoorArjun once gave his opinion on disparity and said that actors don't stop female actors from earning more. In fact, he never asked about their earnings on any movie.
"We as actors have never stopped any actress from earning more money than us. I've never asked my co-stars how much they are paid. It's a business and since a few years the protagonists have been actors, but it is changing. We are seeing a Raazi, Padmaavat, Veere Di Wedding being made and things will change," he said.
He further spoke about how many women are not able to work after marriage, but then several successful actresses have served as a good example of women resuming work after giving birth, and that things are evolving in the industry.
8. Shah Rukh Khan © Instagram/SRK
SRK is the true king of Bollywood for a reason. Speaking about pay disparity, he mentioned that it is very much possible to bridge this gap. He said, "In the past too, I have made my stance on equality of genders clear. I strongly believe dues meted out should be according to merit and not gender. Both genders have their own plus and minus points, though I love the women who make work so beautiful."

Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan, one of the most iconic cricketers of the modern era, recently wrote a heart-felt message from his Twitter account calling out to the various world leaders to “don’t leave us in chaos”.
Dear World Leaders! My country is in chaos, thousand of innocent people, including children & women, get martyred everyday, houses & properties being destructed.Thousand families displaced..
Don’t leave us in chaos. Stop killing Afghans & destroying Afghaniatan.
We want peace.

“Dear World Leaders! My country is in chaos, thousand of innocent people, including children & women, get martyred everyday, houses & properties being destructed.Thousand families displaced.. Don’t leave us in chaos. Stop killing Afghans & destroying Afghanistan. We want peace,” the leg spinner wrote from his official handle on the micro-blogging site.
However, instead of showing their support towards the 22-year-old’s plea for help, Twitter users from India and Pakistan once again made it about themselves and the ego battles began once again, with the essence of the message getting absolutely buried.

"Right now the Taliban are fighting with Afghan forces to capture the police headquarters and compound of the provincial governor," said Ziauddin Zia, a lawmaker in Aybak told Reuters. "Several parts of the capital have fallen to the Taliban."
According to The Print, India is unlikely to agree to provide military aid to the Afghanistan government at the moment while all their focus being diverted towards maintaining peace in the region through dialogue. Additionally, “benign support” like maintenance of military equipment, training, and spare parts continue to be a part of the discussion.

Indin-Pakistan banter began ages ago and based on the situation at hand, it doesn’t seem like it will come to an end anytime soon. However, as human beings, forgetting our own petty differences for the good of all mankind is a characteristic that both sides need to nurture and put in a lot of work in.

It can feel like taking the SATs right now if you walk into the personal care section. I'm not even talking about the ingredient lists; all of the bottles, tubes, and jars are coated with strange jargon. So many labels make it clear that the items within are free of sulphates, gluten, oxybenzone, and, yes, parabens. But why should you give a damn? In the first place, what are parabens?
But which components in products are beneficial and which are harmful? You don't have to be a dermatologist to figure out the answer. One of the biggest names on the naughty list will be familiar to anyone who is familiar with skincare: parabens.
What Are Parabens? So, parabens are said to be harmful to our health and skin, but what exactly are they?
Bacteria? Particles that aren't good?
These days, products have a long shelf life, especially when you consider the journey each pot, bottle, or tube will go from the producer to the store shelf to your bathroom shelf. So it's only natural that chemists would need to add some sort of preservative to keep things as fresh as possible—and that's where parabens come in. Preservatives like parabens are used in personal care products to keep bacteria and fungi from forming and extending the shelf life of the product.
© Instagram/MensXP Mud
They're in everything from shampoo and shower gel to face creams and serums (note: oils don't need the same preservatives as water-based products), where they keep active ingredients stable, effective, and free of harmful bacteria growth—which is especially important in jars and pots that allow for finger dipping).
Methylparaben, ethylparaben, propylparaben, and butylparaben are the most often used. These compounds have been available for decades, but their safety has been questioned since they resemble oestrogen, and amounts of parabens were identified in breast cancer cells in one study of roughly 20 patients.
Why Are Parabens Thought To Be Bad For Us?Parabens allow items to last months, if not years, in our bathroom cabinets; but, they can also enter your body through your skin when you use them.
By imitating oestrogen, parabens are thought to affect hormone function. Paraben use has been related to breast cancer and reproductive disorders because too much oestrogen can cause an increase in breast cell division and tumour growth.
© iStock
It isn't just a problem for women! Men who were exposed to parabens had worse quality sperm, according to a study. The study found that men who used paraben-containing items had decreased testosterone levels and sperm that were irregularly shaped.
In the long run, using parabens, at whatever level, is likely to harm your fertility. Because it is a hormone disruptor, paraben can have an influence on hormones. Parabens can have negative impacts on the developing, reproductive, neurological, and immunological systems.

Synthetic parabens are found in everything: medicines, soaps, shampoos, facewash, pesticides, plastics, detergents, food, toys, and flame retardants. Imagine the cumulative effect of the minute levels of paraben in all of these products. We use these goods on a daily basis without hesitation. How much does all of this add up to?
Not to mention that we've been using these things for years, naive to the health risks that I've identified.
What Are The Alternatives To Parabens? If you want to be safe and avoid parabens where possible, you're in luck: paraben-free products are widely available. To avoid greenwashing, we recommend constantly reading the ingredient list to ensure you're receiving the real deal. The fact that even their complete chemical names invariably end in "paraben" makes parabens easy to recognise (e.g., methylparaben, propylparaben, or butylparaben).
__ECOMPRODUCT__2330__
We propose looking for alternative preservatives in hair care, such as sodium benzoate or potassium sorbate, while many skincare products include organic compounds with preserving qualities, such as salicylic acid, benzoic acid, and sorbic acid.
__ECOMPRODUCT__2331__
When switching to paraben-free products, it's important to keep an eye on the expiry date, which is either printed on the bottle or represented by a symbol that looks like an open pot with a number in the middle; the number indicates how many months it's good for after opening. If your product is past its expiration date, it's advisable to toss it rather than risk it.
To Wrap UpWhen it comes to using any beauty products, the choice at the end of the day is in your hands, If you are trying to use clean products then it is always good to be updated about the ingredients and how it affects your health both inside and out.

I am 25-years-old right now and it shames me, actually no, allow me to rephrase that, it scares me to admit that I, along with a shockingly large number of women out there, have been victims to sexual harassment at one or more times in our lives. And what worries me more is that there is just as much a chance for it to happen again and again and then again.
Now, the reason why I am writing this is not to hold a mirror to society to show the kind of life that awaits every woman born in this country, but to let you in on a tiny detail that you never imagined could have a direct impact on your life. Like the rate at which crime against women happens in this country.
© iStock
From the surface of it, the statistics for this situation should have nothing to do with you, a man. But when you look closely and realise that an average of 62.4% of women in India get assaulted every year, it won’t be long until the woman you’re dating next also turns out to be a victim.
So, you see? Suddenly, you find yourself in the mix too.
As heartbreaking as the realisation sounds, it is true. In fact, for most women out there, the first sexual experience of their lives is an assault. Which is why when they enter a relationship, they do it not just with a lot of inhibitions but also with a lot of blurred lines about intimacy, comfort and boundaries. All of which need to be understood, respected and most of all - carefully navigated.
© T-Series
And so, in the event that you do find yourself dating a woman who has been a survivor of a sexual assault, here are a few things that you’d want to keep in mind:
1. Let Them Tell Their Story In Their Own Way © iStock
The thing about sexual abuse is, it cripples you. Not just in the moment it’s happening but also till long after, making you feel powerless.
To add on top of that the fear of judgement from society which doesn’t make it any easier to admit what happened.
Hence, it becomes important for you to understand that sharing their story is possibly one of the hardest things for them to do, especially since it might take them back to the incident, leaving them with a bitter aftertaste.
Show patience, show support and never probe. Let them open up at their own pace and decide when they are ready to share and how much.
Sexual abuse victims often struggle with feeling safe, but as and when they start developing trust, they will trust you with their story too.
2. Understand Trauma © iStock
When something as traumatic as sexual assault happens with someone, chances are that the survivor develops a post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) which makes it difficult for them to recover after the incident.
This might include symptoms such as nightmares, flashbacks, cold sweats and a vulnerability to be triggered at any point. And so, when a survivor is forced to live life like a ticking time-bomb, the duty to make them feel understood falls on your shoulders.
The best way to do so is read up about trauma and spend enough time trying to understand what does and does not trigger your partner.
Keep in mind that you’re navigating your way through a sensitive and sort of a mine-field, and should not get impatient in the process.
3. Consent, Consent, Consent © iStock
Having your body violated is perhaps one of the most terrifying and scarring things to happen to you.
The idea of ‘consent’, which more often than not is casually looked past, is everything for a sexual abuse survivor, because it is the very thing that was taken away from them in the first place.
Therefore, it is crucial to understand that the only way to proceed in a relationship with a survivor, not just sexually but also emotionally, is by seeking their consent every step of the way.
Comfort won’t come easy to them and there will be times when despite having said yes to something, they may have second thoughts in the middle. It is that moment when you have to tell yourself to not take it personally and let your partner decide the limits they want to hit.
4. Let Them Set Boundaries © iStock
Someone who has been violated can be triggered by anything that remotely reminds them of what happened. From being held a certain way to specific words being said, anything can take them back especially during a sexual act.
Let them decide what they are and aren’t comfortable with, even if it means moving at snail speed. It is important to make them feel they are in control and that at any given moment, they can call the shots.
There will be times when their boundaries may fluctuate, and that is okay. The more you respect them, the greater chance for you to build feelings of trust and intimacy with them.
