Richa Chadha Fills Her Car’s Fuel Tank At An Insane Price & People Understand Her Pain

Petrol and diesel rates in the country have sharply increased burning a hole in ‘aam-aadmi’s’ pocket. Not just the commoners, celebrities also are having a hard time getting their fuel tanks refilled. We already are tackling with COVID and government is adding one more stress to our lives.

Actor Richa Chadha just gave us a reality check and shared how much she paid for a full tank and it’s crazy. She ended up spending Rs 7855 on fuel. She took to Instagram to share the receipt and wrote, “Just filled fuel. ₹7855 for a full tank.” In an earlier tweet, she took a dig at the government and wrote, “WOW! Just so much wow. Who to thank for this ?”

Here are her tweets:

People also echoed similar emotions and said that country is being butchered economically. One of the users even went on to say that the EMI of 50% financed cars would be lower than getting a full tank.

Here are their reactions:

We completely relate to these emotions because it’s hard to keep up with the inflation of fuel prices very often as now it has even crossed the Rs 100 mark per litre.

There are a few people who trolled Richa for being an attention-seeker by sharing the receipt but it hardly matters to Richa. In one of the interviews, she had said, “There are two sets of trolls. One who troll you for your opinions and others who are trolls for hire, who are these two rupees trolls. The latter I don't pay any attention to because there is a lot of unemployment and they earn by trending hashtags with the same spelling mistakes. The former wants you to be vocal about everything, even if you don't know about it, who indulge in a lot of whatabouteries and want to reprimand you.”

She had further said, “In the end, a troll is a troll be it from the right-wing ecosystem or the left-wing and I really don't care about them. In fact, trolls make me very famous. I think trolls don't understand how much they help us unknowingly."

We completely agree with Richa.
