Bigg Boss veteran, Shamita Shetty has been confirmed as a contestant on Big Boss OTT, the latest iteration of the infamous reality TV show.

Her last stint with the Big Boss house ended prematurely with her having to leave the show in order to be a part of her sister Shilpa Shetty’s wedding to Raj Kundra.
#ShamitaShetty stood on her commitment, despite so much of family turmoil going on in the background {Raj Kundra Case}.

She is woman of her words ! RESPECT her for that.#BiggBossOTT #BBOTT

What makes things interesting is the inauspicious timing of her participation’s announcement, as it coincides with the recent spate of accusations against her brother-in-law, Raj Kundra, who has been undergoing investigations conducted by the Mumbai police regarding an adult film racket.

There has been a lot of noise that the Shetty family has had to endure, and Shamita, especially, may have a particularly tough time in the notoriously scandalous Bigg Boss house that is bursting with drama 24/7.
All that the showrunners are looking for is juicy gossip and the younger Shetty sibling may just be targeted for her family’s sustained presence in the news in connection to the porn scandal.

This scandal has taken over their lives right now, and it reminds us of the time when Shilpa Shetty had commented on Shamita’s 2009 stint with Bigg Boss 3.
“Ok! It’s out, my sister Shamita is in the Bigg Boss house. Took the next flight to Bombay from London when she told me she was going in, I scurried to spend the last two days before she left, tried to dissuade her; considering she’ll be away for three months if she lasts.”
We wonder if she would have reached out to Shamita and offered her the same sage advice this time around considering the hullabaloo around them.
It does feel like it could go either way as the Bigg Boss house presents Shamita with an opportunity to set facts straight, or she could just choose to stay mum about this whole thing. Either way, it will be interesting to see how things unfold in the house.
What if I will say #Shamitashetty & #KaranJohar came on #BiggBossOTT to clear their image and change the perception of audience towards them & their family members.

Back in 2009 Shilpa’s blog entry read, “She had her reasons to take part, felt it was a great opportunity to test herself and her level of patience. Must say she’s been very brave ‘cause trust me, it takes a lot of gumption considering she’s an introvert and very private.”
It’s truly a brave decision from the younger Shetty sister. Let’s also not forget that in 2009, Shilpa Shetty herself had been a participant in Celebrity Big Brother, the British version of the Indian Bigg Boss franchise.
At the premiere, Shamita spoke as tactfully as a politician, opening up about her hesitation regarding this participation without directly saying anything about the case involving Raj Kundra.
This skill might come in handy as she goes deeper into the Bigg Boss OTT campaign.

In the last few years, the men’s cosmetic industry has grown leaps and bounds. There are unlimited options when it comes to men’s skincare products and honestly, it can get very confusing.
When it comes to finding quick and easy remedies to dull skin or if you need an instant jolt of brightness on your face for a big date, sometimes the best option is to go back to our pre-skincare products era and try our hands at some good, old-fashioned home remedies.
What Are The Best DIY Remedies For Your Skin? While there are many answers to this question, here are the top three things you can use in your skincare routine that are readily available at home:
    1. Steaming the skinSkin steaming was the humble go-to treatment that our mothers and grandmothers swore on for naturally bright and flushed skin back when skincare treatments weren't as technologically advanced as they are now.

Skin steaming is making a comeback right now. Steaming makes your pores pliable and helps to dissolve the dirt that can cause acne.

The steam's heat will also enhance microcirculation giving your skin a dewy sheen. Additionally, steam increases hydration, improves your skin's barrier, plumps your skin, and smooths fine wrinkles. It's a one-step skincare routine that hydrates, clarifies, and detoxifies the skin.
When it comes to steaming, there are a few dos and don'ts to remember:
    Dos:
Use a gentle cleanser before and after steaming to eliminate any dirt that may have gotten into your open pores and caused irritation and acne. After that, it stops bacterial growth by preventing sweat from steam and other pollutants from promoting it, producing breakouts and irritation. Before steaming, apply an exfoliating serum or face mask to ensure that the product is properly absorbed. After steaming, apply a cold sheet mask to seal in the moisture. If you don't, you'll suffer from dehydration. You can do this once or twice a week for 10 minutes. Keep a safe space between you and the steamer. If you don't have a steamer, a container filled with hot water will suffice.__ECOMPRODUCT__1916__
    Don'ts
Do not attempt pore extraction at home; it is better left to professionals' skilled and quick hands. If you have rosacea, you should avoid steaming because it will irritate and inflame your skin even more.2. TurmericWhile the Western world has embraced turmeric (golden milk lattes, anyone? ), we have been using it in our food and for topical use for millennia. Turmeric is a strong player in most Indian households thanks to its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial properties, which can improve our skin and health in a variety of ways.

It's used to treat skin conditions like acne, eczema, psoriasis, and wounds and scars. It contains the antioxidant curcumin, which lightens pigmentation while also slowing the ageing process to decrease wrinkles and increase the flexibility of your skin.

Make this simple DIY mask at home using turmeric and other superfoods that are widely available:
Combine 2 tablespoons turmeric powder, 2 tablespoons yoghurt, and a splash of honey in a mixing bowl.Mix the ingredients and use the mixture to apply to your face. Allow for 15-20 minutes of wear before rinsing with lukewarm water.Note: Turmeric can turn your skin yellow, therefore if you want to avoid it, use Kasturi turmeric instead.__ECOMPRODUCT__2311__
    3. HoneyYou can drizzle it on french toast, put a dab of it in your oatmeal, use it to sweeten your tea, and now you can use it to smear it on your face. Honey is a natural humectant, which means it absorbs moisture from the air into your skin, moisturising and nourishing it. As a result, it's an elixir for dry skin in need of some tender loving care.

Its antimicrobial, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and anti-fungal characteristics are ideal for all skin types, and it helps repair breakouts and soothe sensitive skin, making it a winner for acne-prone skin. It also helps to cleanse your pores, exfoliate your skin, and minimise hyperpigmentation and stubborn acne scars that refuse to erase, making it a true multitasker!

    __ECOMPRODUCT__2312__
Using honey as a gentle cleanser is the greatest way to include it in your routine. For the safest and most effective outcomes, use raw organic honey.
To keep the honey from becoming too sticky on your skin, dampen your face.Apply a thin coating of honey to your skin with a spoonful. Before washing it off, leave it on for a few minutes. It can also be used as a mask, which you should leave on for 20 minutes.Note: Honey and milk can also be mixed together and used as a face wash.Honey as a cleanser promotes supple, well-moisturized skin by gently cleansing without removing the skin of its natural oils. It's a fantastic way to keep your skin naturally bright, fresh, and soft, especially if you have dry or sensitive skin.
To Wrap UpSkincare starts with determining your skin type and choosing products with the right ingredients for its concerns. You must understand that buying random products will do no good. So, while you figure out the products that work best for you keep using these home remedies on your skin.

Bollywood in the early 2000s was an interesting time for Indian cinema.

Far from being aware, most of us viewers were still young and free of the burden of opinions. Basically, we were able to enjoy anything that was served on our platter with a smile.
One such relish that I enjoyed back in 2003 was Hrithik Roshan’s blockbuster Koi Mil Gaya.  Between the ET-inspired storyline and scenic landscapes that we were convinced was Shimla, I was drafted into a world of make-believe.
Koi Mil Gaya was special in so many ways. Its purity, simplicity & Jaadoo captivated not just us as actors, but an entire generation of kids & families. For me, it was really special because it brought out the kid in me. Playing Nisha gave me so much joy pic.twitter.com/VGQ3tqbYo8

The thing with make-believe and fantasies is that, at some point, the cracks start appearing.
As Koi Mil Gaya turns 18 today, let’s take a look at 5 things from Koi Mil Gaya that we loved as kids but make zero sense right now:
    1. Alienware Edition 1 First and foremost, we really need to hand Rakesh Roshan a contract for building what could be the most sturdy piece of electrical equipment ever made.
Not even Apple can match this level of quality.

    2. An Inspiration For NASA As a species we’ve been trying to contact aliens since ancient times, however, who would have thought that all one needed to herald friendly aliens to Earth was create a series of ‘Om’ sounds that make up a melody eerily similar to this backing melody from a hip-hop classic.

    3. Fast And Furious...In Kasauli   © FIlmkraft Productions
This movie was definitely made for kids, and in hindsight, nothing gives that away more than the fact that they’re able to outrun the bad guys in jeeps and bikes using their simple wheeler scooters.

I tried this when I was a kid and the only thing I got were bruises on my ankles from it.
    4. Movie or Advertisement? Rohit is supposed to have developmental issues due to the car accident which killed his father. The resultant brain trauma stunted his mental growth.
However, it still doesn’t explain his affinity for Bournvita. The sheer amount of times Bournvita is mentioned in the film made it feel more like an advertisement than a Bollywood movie.
#KoiMilGaya is not only famous ‘Jadoo’ but also Bournvita. No movie has ever promoted @BournvitaIndia better. The partnership was so successful that it was followed by Krrish and Krrish 3! A product placement success story!

    5. Jadoo Ka Glow-Up  © Instagram @hrithikroshan
The blue alien did for Rohit, what modern-day medicine and fitness influencers couldn’t. Jadoo somehow undid an entire birth defect, suddenly transforming him into the most wanted hunk in Shimla.

Everyone could do with Jadoo as their wingman.
Koi Mil Gaya is a classic, undeniably so, but even for a movie about aliens, it took creative liberties to the next level.
    What do you think?
