In an ideal case scenario during ***, one would imagine that both the partners are so consumed by the act and the intensity that they forget about everything else.
After all, during such intimate and passionate moments, it becomes natural to expect that the focus of your partner would solely be on you and on the pleasure that the two of you would be relishing in.
However, contrary to popular belief, that is not how things usually go down.
via GIPHY
As it turns out, it rarely happens that the two people having *** are fully present and into the moment because most of the time, and for most people, while their body may be actively participating in the act, their mind sets off to wander.
© Prime Video
Especially with men, 10 of whom decided to get candid with us and share unfiltered, honest thoughts that they ever had while having ***.
Here is what they had to say:
via GIPHY
1. “Every time that I get intimate with someone and receive a hickey on my neck or shoulder, I immediately start freaking out in the middle of ***, thinking about how exactly will I hide it or explain it to my parents. God knows no one will believe it is a mosquito bite.”
2. “Just how I would have to clean up the long strands of hair my girl leaves on the bed, so that my mom doesn’t suspect me.”
via GIPHY
3. “This is something that happened when I had just started getting physical with my first girlfriend and while we were at it, I couldn’t stop thinking about how the real deal was so much more different than what I would see in porn.”
4. “I am constantly worried about whether or not what I am doing is ‘okay’ with my partner or if I am crossing any boundaries and if I am even any good. Honestly, it’s just too much anxiety!”
via GIPHY
5. “Because there is so much pressure built around looking into the eyes of your partner unless you want to come off as detached, I am mostly occupied with the thought of making constant eye contact, to the point where I have at times over-done it and freaked my partner out.”
6. “If the face I am making during *** looks flattering/sexy enough or not.”
via GIPHY
7. “The entire time my mind is just oscillating between the thoughts of ‘is it gonna happen too soon?’ and ‘is it not happening at all?’"
8. “At times when I am about to finish a little too soon than I should, I think about my grandma to instantly slow down.”
via GIPHY
9. “Random things honestly, like how good the patty I ate the other day was delicious and that we should get one after we’re done. Or if I left the geyser in the washroom on...”
10. “It may sound weird but I am constantly reminding myself of the fact that I am actually having *** in this moment!”

There’s often a lot of conversation and discourse around gender dynamics and how it affects people across gender spectrums. Patriarchy has borne countless victims across its existence.
Unbeknownst to us men, we’ve also been asked to follow an improper script since we were born. A lot of it has resulted in anguish and confusion for us as we’ve grown to be adults.
Lessons that were taught in our youth have now been found to be erroneous, no matter how well-intentioned it may have seemed in the past.
Here are 5 ways society has created unfair standards for men right from a young age itself:
1. Bring In The Moolah © iStock
From a young age, the entire responsibility of the family is thrust upon men, or at least they are told so.
Our culture only values hollow capitalistic success, and in this process, we end up losing valuable time and opportunity to allow young boys to explore the world around them. Kids learn lessons quickly, especially if the lesson is ‘paisa phenk, tamasha dekh.’
2. Never Fail © iStock
For Indian parents, failures are meant to be swept under the rug, never to be acknowledged. We avoid failures like we do skinny jeans in 2021.
What happens when generations of young boys are taught that their self worth is directly proportional to their successes? Well, if the odds aren’t in your favour, then you’ll grow up to be a discontented and loathsome man.
Groaning at every success story, hoping it would have been you, we become scared of trying things that might bring us joy. All because we’re scared of failing.
3. Helplessness Is Punished © iStock
Quick question. Are you comfortable enough to allow yourself to feel helpless and reach out for help? If the thought makes you awkward, then you’re not alone.
Our childhood played a formative role in making us the people we are today. As a child, you may have never been allowed to feel helpless and ask for help, in fact, even today, society ridicules such behaviour. In adulthood, this can end up in you bottling up your emotions in fear of being seen as meek or weak.
Men, please feel your emotions, because they’re truly yours. Allow yourself to go through feelings that aren’t ‘alpha’ behaviour. Society isn’t going to feel them on your behalf.
4. Bodybuilding For Fear © iStock
Certain beauty standards for men are a direct result of needing to look dominant and imposing.
Men are taught that the only way to earn some semblance of ‘respect’ is through rippling musculature. Boys are often shamed for not being ‘strong enough’.
Such deep-seated insecurities creep out in the form of rage in the later years. So, we go to the gym channelling that rage (if we’re lucky) not to be the best versions of ourselves, instead, chasing a look that could scare off potential bullies. Or worse, become one.
As a society, we have a long way to go in understanding the true impact of the patriarchy on men. Maybe, we can start by listening to each other?

Bollywood films are known to portray their narratives in a larger-than-life style. When it comes to sports movies or movies based on national interests, people are way more than skeptical and often tend to spot mistakes that directors might have thought the viewers would give a miss. Well, there are Bollywood buffs who see movies very critically and in detail.
After seeing this particular mistake, we can’t help but say that anything can happen in Bollywood because details aren’t necessary for the narratives. We are talking about one of the sequences of Govinda and Karisma Kapoor’s movie Haseena Maan Jaayegi.
In this scene, Karisma is seen playing basketball but with a football. Yes, you heard it right and we aren’t bluffing. To make it more disappointing, the director made Karisma wear yoga pants and a white tank top, and all the other teammates were seen wearing tennis skirts. If this is not ruining the details of a particular sport, then we are probably out of words.
Here is the proof as many fans have spotted this mistake:
© Twitter

Here’s a video too:
Last year, the movie completed 21 years of its release. The film hit the screens in the year 1999 and starred Sanjay Dutt, Govinda, Karisma Kapoor, and Pooja Batra in the lead roles. It was a hit at the box office and many loved the comic sequences.
In an interaction with IANS, Karisma had said, “21 years of Haseena Maan Jaayegi seems unreal! The film is timeless, be it the comedy, the romance, or the drama. The memory is still fresh of how the film charmed audiences and now that we achieve this milestone looking at the next generation groove to the music, knowing each character and the hook steps, just warms my heart." Karisma further added, "I feel tremendously nostalgic, the film is very special to me.”
Apart from Sanjay, Govinda, Karisma, and Pooja, Haseena Maan Jayegi also starred Kader Khan, Anupam Kher, Aruna Irani, and Paresh Rawal in pivotal roles.
Now, we wonder what Karisma has to say on this!

Actor Juhi Chawla has shared a new video on her Instagram talking about the Supreme Court dismissing her lawsuit over the implementation of 5G mobile technology and equipment in India. She shared the video with the caption “It was about time. I'll let you decide if it was a publicity stunt."
© Instagram_Juhi Chawla
In the video Chawla claims that she approached different parliamentary committees and organisations about her concerns. She said that her fight against 5G started after she saw some 14 towers installed at the Sahyadri Guest House right in front of her own home. She then cites a news report which talked about the harmful effects of cellular radiation on human health and decided to reach out to agencies to figure if the new cellular towers could harm her and her family.
© julian-tilgenkamp-unsplash
Chawla also claims that when the agency arrived at her home, their reading equipment recorded the maximum reading they were capable of. She also said that the agency submitted a report to her mentioning the various areas in her home with harmful levels of radiation. It is worthy to point out that neither the report nor its findings were published for everyone to view to support Chawla’s claims. It is also not known whether this particular report was shared in her lawsuit with the Supreme Court.
However, Chawla claims that that report said the harmful levels of radiation could lead to multiple health issues such as headaches, memory loss and irregular blood pressure. Juhi Chawla then filed PILs and petitions for the removal of the 14 towers in front of her home. It was found that 13 out of 14 of them were installed illegally.
View this post on Instagram
Juhi Chawla was trolled online for her lawsuit against 5G technology and was also given scathing remarks by the court. She was fined Rs 20 lakh and the court also said, “The plaintiffs have abused and misused the process of law which has resulted in waste of judicial time.” The court further said, “It is a defective plaint. This suit has been filed only for media publicity and nothing more than that. It is very shocking. Did you approach the government with a representation? If yes, is there any denial?” the court asked to which the plaintiffs’ counsel replied negatively.
© Reuters
Juhi Chawla has now said in a statement, "Whatever transpired in June, left me feeling hurt and confused. On one hand, I received some bad press and publicity, on the other, I received heartwarming messages from unknown people telling me they were genuinely and completely in support. One such message was from a group of farmers in Maharashtra which brought tears to my eyes, they wished to carry out a voluntary drive to collect a small sum of money from each of their 10,000 farmer communities to help me pay the hefty penalty, I had been fined with.”
"Moments like these made me grateful that no matter what, I had lent a voice to the health concerns of many, many simple people of my country. When the storm died down, and I could see more clearly, I became calm and strong because I realised what an important, timely, relevant and impacting question I had raised. Had it not been so, would the world have erupted the way it did?!”
"All this while I remained silent because I believe silence has its own deafening sound, but now I'd like to bring forth some very important and shocking details of happenings, in my 11-year journey of discovering EMF radiation, its health effects and the glaring ignorance of certain authorities in this regard. I hope you can make some time to watch this video," she said.

When two people come into a relationship, a lot of changes are bound to make their way into their lives. From their priorities to their preferences, quite a few things turn around to accommodate the newfound love and commitment they have with a person.
Some get more focused in life than others, others start taking up an interest in their partner’s likes and dislikes, and in some way or the other, their lives get intertwined and connected.
And while that is still understandable, what isn’t is when one partner starts to dictate the terms of life for the other.
© Viacom 18 motion pictures
You see, having influence over your partner’s life and having control over their lives are two very different things that should never be mixed up.
It is natural to get swayed by the opinion of your beau, but only as long as it is out of your own will. Because when you start doing things as per the wishes of your partner, you may be giving up too much control.
Here are 5 things that one should never let their partner control in their relationships:
1. Style © Viacom 18 motion pictures
When it comes to matters of personal style and fashion, one must always remember that it can be different for each person and doesn’t necessarily have to please anyone apart from yourself.
While it is okay to entertain the suggestions that your partner might have on your wardrobe, it is certainly not okay to give up total control over what you can and cannot wear.
Your style is an extension of your personality and it should remain personal.
2. Life Choices © Yash Raj Films
Now, by this, I don’t mean that you can justify every choice you make, especially if it means a bad one like that of cheating or doing drugs, but that your life choices are your own and should not be taken at the behest of your partner.
It may be okay to value their opinion and factor that in while making your choice about anything, but there is no way your partner should feel entitled enough to make them for you.
Whether it is about what you eat, what you drink or what you do, you should be the one deciding.
3. Interpersonal Relationships © T-Series
These are the ones you have with your family, friends, colleagues, etc. and should not be moulded or modified as per the taste and approval of your partner.
It is important to remember that you had a life before you were in a relationship, and perhaps these were the very people that made it fun. So, to abandon them or change towards them because your partner may be uncomfortable with the importance or the time you give to them is never healthy.
In fact, if this goes on, sooner or later you start feeling alienated from the world.
4. Career © Yash Raj Films
Love and career are two equally important parts of your life, which require just as much focus, attention and nourishment as any other. But at no point should one affect the other.
A boundary needs to be set when it comes to your growth, future aspirations and career because that is something that should never be dictated by your partner.
It may be okay till the point they’re pushing you to do better, trying to help you arrive at the right decision, but when that turns into ultimatums and expectations, you must know it isn’t right.
5. Time © Excel Entertainment
It is but natural to expect to be given time and attention when you’re in a relationship. Which makes it imperative that you amend your list of priorities and add the name of your partner to it.
However, one must never feel pressured to be at their partner’s every beck and call and realise that their partners shouldn’t be the ones deciding how and when you need to spend time with them.
You have every right to pick your own pace and your SO must learn to respect that about you.

As India celebrates the return of their heroes from Tokyo Olympics 2020, led by the new heartthrob of the nation and the only Indian gold medallist at the event Neeraj Chopra, a new troublesome concern has been brewing in the sports fraternity of the country.
Hearing impaired Sameeha Barwin is an 18-year-old track and field athlete who specialises in long jump and 100-metre dash, and was dropped from the Indian contingent for the upcoming 4th World Deaf Athletics Championships in Poland by the Sports Authority of India (SAI).
Sure, keep 'em tied to the kitchen walls because oh that's their territory! @Media_SAI #SameehaBarwin pic.twitter.com/56rTVNRLQW
— Ishita Singh (@ishitasinghhere) August 9, 2021
The reason given for getting rid of her from the team was allegedly the fact that she was the only female athlete while the rest of her Indian teammates were men and because they were unwilling to send a woman all by herself, as reported by The News Minute.
“My daughter is an excellent athlete. And the federation has wronged Sameeha by dropping her for such silly reasons. More than anything, I am now fighting for her dignity,” says Salamath, Sameeha’s mother. “I was told that they cannot send my daughter alone as she is only a female athlete and also arrangements cannot be made for an escort due to shortage of funds.”

An excellent athlete like her do nit deserve this@PMOIndia @AmitShah @Anurag_Office @CMOTamilnadu https://t.co/TOz1np24fZ
— Rency Thomas G (@grencythomas) August 5, 2021
Sameeha’s family runs a small coffee shop at Kadaiyaalumoodu in Kanyakumari and are in the middle of recovering from a massive financial crisis at the moment. Still, they have left no stones unturned to get their daughter’s name back on the list. However, all their efforts seemed to have gone down the drain so far.
“It requires a huge deal of money to come to Chennai to meet federation officials or ministers. With the help of people we are able to make a few trips to Chennai so that I can get justice for my daughter,” adds Salamath.

— WeTheWomen (@WeTheWomenAsia) August 8, 2021
The MP of Kanyakumari constituency, V Vijayakumar even wrote to the Union Sports Minister Anurag Thakur on July 26 requesting clarity in the matter and with the hopes of reinstating Sameeha into the touring squad but have not received any response from the boss-man.
Reports suggest that the Indian contingent is expected to leave for Poland on August 14 which gives Sameeha and her family less than a week’s time to realise the athlete’s dream of representing her country.

At the trailer launch of BellBottom, the media personnel were trying to figure out the absence of Lara Dutta in the trailer as she was present at the launch. Media present at the event and people who saw the trailer were shocked to know that it was Lara Dutta who is playing the role of Indira Gandhi.
During the press conference post the trailer launch, Dutta was asked about the character she portrays in the film. She had said, “If anyone is able to guess, then I will take all their family members free to the theatres.” After being asked multiple times, she finally revealed that she is playing the former Prime Minister.
View this post on InstagramBeing an actor demands way more than just a rock-solid performance and Lara has gone that extra mile by taking up this role. She is unrecognizable and we had to rub our eyes in disbelief. Not just us, her husband Mahesh Bhupathi also got a shock of his life and even refused to hug her as he saw her in this particular makeup.
View this post on InstagramShe told Quint, “Mahesh had seen the photos from the look test, but he didn't see me in person. The first day he came to the set during lunch. I was wearing an apron around my saree because I was going to eat. I was also wearing full make-up because it took around three hours to get into it and we obviously couldn't take that off. My husband completely freaked out. He was like, 'I can't hug you to say hi. I mean, where is my wife? It is so weird. I am not hugging you'." She also shared that her daughter was amused seeing the entire transformation process.
View this post on Instagram
She also said that she has done so many characters in her life but playing the role of Indira Gandhi was completely different as she had never gone through such a massive transformation.
“I have been a part of so many films and played different characters, but I have never seen people around me react the way they did when I was on the sets this time. It was weird because I wasn't looking at myself in the mirror, and I couldn't gauge how the transformation was coming across. So I would be amused by the reactions around me. Everybody stood straight, they were very polite. That is the power of Mrs. Gandhi. I didn't realize it initially,” she added.
When asked how did she lift her mannerisms, she said, “Both Ranjit Tiwari (director) and I watched hours of footage on Indira Gandhi. We watched everything we could find - interviews, Mrs. Gandhi at events, her interactions with different people. I noted down every minute detail - from Gandhi's eye and hand movements to the way she tilted her head and wore her glasses. The way she spoke, her tone, the way she stood - I tried to perfect all that.”
Well, we too were taken aback after we got to know she is playing Indira Gandhi and it will be interesting to see her nail the character.
BellBottom is set for a theatrical release on August 19.

Last Saturday, India witnessed a truly historic moment.
13 years since Abhinav Bindra did the unthinkable and brought home an Olympic gold medal, Neeraj Chopra, a 23-year-old athlete hailing from Panipat. went against all odds to win home another gold medal for India in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, this time in the Javelin throw.
© Reuters
It was wonderful to see a proud Neeraj, celebrating with the Indian flag on his shoulders only to later fold it up neatly right next to him.
The journey home is an exciting one for him, as the Indian government has planned great things for him, even rewards amounting to 6 crores, and a proper government job to reward India's top athlete.
It is strange that for every Neeraj in the country, there are thousands, or perhaps lakhs of other struggling sportsmen, who did their nation proud once, but are now all forgotten.
Amongst one of those is Naresh Tumda.
Does the name ring a bell? If it does, great!
If it doesn't, well, that's okay. Because guess what? The Indian government doesn't remember him either.
Naresh Tumda was a part of the Indian cricket team that helped the country clinch the 2018 Blind Cricket World Cup, however, instead of now getting ready for another World Cup or tournament, he's been forced to work as a labourer in Navsari, Gujarat.
© Twitter
It's a shock that just three years ago, he helped his Indian team chase Pakistan's staggering target of 308 runs in the final at the Sharjah Stadium in UAE.
This is because ever since the Covid-19 lockdown, Naresh has been selling vegetables and doing daily labour work to just survive and feed his family.
© Twitter
It is reported that Naresh tried several times to contact the government to get a job to support his family as he had trouble getting shelter and food.
He even applied for several government jobs but failed to get a positive response for any of them. People on social media even called in for a fundraiser in order to help support Tumda.
A deflated Naresh spoke to ANI regarding his situation. He said, "I earn Rs 250 a day. Requested CM thrice but didn't get a reply. I urge govt to give me a job so that I can take care of my family."

This is truly a sad state of affairs and clearly not the way how we should be treating our champions.
Meanwhile, people too weighed in their opinions on social media.
Very unfortunate. On one hand, where we are happy with India's performance in the Olympics today, but on the other hand, such situation of a player who has played for india!! Unfortunate. @vijayrupanibjp @KirenRijiju@ianuragthakur kindly look into this matter sir & help him.
— Anjana Rajput (@Anjana_09) August 8, 2021If this story is year old more shame on the current govt that despite him approaching CM thrice and been on newspaper they didn't do anything.
— HImanshu (@imanshu_) August 9, 2021Where the Fck is BCCI.
When we have such a rich board, why Cricketers have to labour for mere 250 Rupee.
— KhUrR@M (@Syed_Khurram) August 9, 2021Some are overhyped others are completely ignored /SHAME!!
— Shivam (@Shivam92256480) August 8, 2021@BCCI should be supportive to these players. Why treat these players differently..
— Shivaraj (@shivraj28) August 8, 2021Very sad state...all sports person should be absorbed into ecosystem based on their skill or be trained to train n coach
— Maverick Maddock (@MaddockMaverick) August 8, 2021Sad state of affairs
Politicians announce rewards during hype moments but then this is the fate of most sportspersons
— Unbiased Defenestrator (@Dontpushyourluk) August 8, 2021This is not related to Olympic but we should care and provide good facilities and future security of every national and state player if we don't provide then pls
Don't expect dozens medal in international games

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s Twitter account has been temporarily suspended and it seems like now the Youth Congress will be protesting outside Twitter’s offices in Delhi and Mumbai. The Youth Congress condemned Twitter’s action of locking his account and announced that the outfit will be protesting today from 5:30 PM.
© Reuters
Apart from the demonstrations outside Twitter’s offices, the National Students Union of India (NSUI) will also hold a demonstration near the Parliament area, according to ANI.
Why Rahul Gandhi’s Twitter Account Was SuspendedRahul Gandhi’s Twitter account was temporarily suspended over the weekend after the microblogging website removed some of his posts in relation to the Nangal rape case. The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) had written to Twitter regarding Gandhi’s tweet that disclosed the identity of the victim’s family. This is in violation of the POCSO act and has been used as the reason for suspending Gandhi’s account.
© Reuters
The Congress leader had posted a Tweet of him with a family member of the Delhi Cantt minor girl who was reportedly raped and killed in a heinous crime. Mr Gandhi went to meet with the family and posted it on social media without protecting the identity of the victim’s family. The NCPCR chief Priyank Kanoongo took up the violation with the Delhi police and put pressure on the social media website to follow India’s laws.
© joshua-hoehne-unsplash
"According to the intermediary status of Twitter, they should start an investigation. However, we have not received any response from Twitter but they have taken down the Tweet after the commission complained regarding it. No one has the right to violate rule of law in the country and if someone violates the law especially when they are related to children then the commission will take strict action,” he said.
The Indian National Congress is blaming the suspension of Rahul Gandhi’s Twitter account suspension on BJP. Congress communication department head Randeep Surjewala said, “Based on a complaint by the BJP, the Twitter account of Rahul Gandhi has been locked. Instead of giving justice to the 9-year-old Dalit girl, the BJP and the Narendra Modi government are far too preoccupied in intimidating Twitter as also illegally chasing Rahul Gandhi. Had PM Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah used this time in ensuring justice for the Dalit girl…Delhi would have been a safer place.”

The internet is a magical place which can lead to anyone’s overnight success in a jiffy. So many people get to fulfill their dreams, courtesy the power of reaching out to the world. Little did Sahadev Dirdo imagine that an old clip recorded by his school teacher two years ago would end up making him a star in the country. I am talking about the Bachpan Ka Pyar boy and his singing skills, which had led to social media booming with reels and videos being made on his singing.
Not only did he become a singing sensation on Instagram, he caught the eyes and the ears of singer-producer Badshah who offered to work with him. In a candid chat with Official Humans Of Chhatisgarh, the young star shared his life journey, which is no less than a movie in itself.
He lost his mother at a young age of 8 and obviously it hit him hard. During a Republic Day celebration at school, his teacher pointed out the camera at him and asked him to sing a song. He randomly sang Bachpan Ka Pyar and then everyone forgot about it.
Except, two years later, the video immediately got viral and before anyone knew about it, Sahadev was an Instagram star. The overnight success has been overwhelming for this 7th standard kid as so many people end up coming up to him at his home and request him for videos and pictures, but he understands that it's coming from a place of love and he is enjoying it.
