Staying at home does a number on our minds. By virtue of having little to no change in routines, we’ve begun to find ourselves increasingly distracted and unable to focus  n the tasks at hand.
A lack of concentration can be dangerous. While at work, fumbling and forgetting a response in the middle of a meeting might not be as fatalistic. But when an inability to concentrate becomes an issue with your day to day tasks, then there’s a chance you may be putting yourself in harm’s way, e.g.: driving and cooking require constant attention, and a lack of it can be dangerous.
Here are 5 tips to improve your concentration levels:
SleepOne of the most wonderful natural phenomena of the human body, sleep allows you to recharge your batteries. High quality sleep improves your concentration levels, allowing you to focus better. Both REM and non-REM sleep have varying levels of brain activity. Studies have shown that a lifestyle built around poor sleep may lead to dementia and Alzheimer’s.

Exercise There are few things better than getting down to basics and giving yourself a good workout. It helps improve your cognitive functions, including concentration and memory. It can even lead to a better mood. Sometimes when we’re feeling distracted and unfocused, it can mean that our mind’s attention span has been depleted. Even a quick workout can help your nervous system calm down, as it floods the brain with endorphins.

Nutrition The quality of what we put inside our stomach has a pivotal role in how our cognitive functions fare. By binging on junk food, we’re training our brain to release dopamine frequently. This can overload the reward circuits in our brains. Junk foods are loaded with sugars and fats, plus they’re highly refined as well. They’ve been designed to be addictive. According to a study, our brain’s memory centre, the hippocampus, performs poorly when it's fed junk foods in comparison to healthier diets.

Mindfulness MeditationNot just another fad, Mindfulness Meditation allows your monkey brain to switch off. The Default Mode Network or The DMN in some people can overload and cause excessive rumination and self referential thoughts. Meditation allows you to train your mind to focus on one thing at a time.

Therapy Sometimes our inability to concentrate or focus can stem from being overwhelmed by numerous things. Talk therapy allows individuals to verbally address their issues. Talking to a mental health professional about your problems can take an excess burden off your mind and allow your brain some much needed space to function effectively.

Concentration issues sound silly, but they aren’t. It’s the equivalent of slowly chipping away at your cognitive abilities on a daily basis. So if your focus has been off for a while, try some of these tips for help!

A new remix to a Bollywood classic song is often met with cringe, hate and boos from the fans and it’s for the right reasons. We have certain sentiments attached to the cult tracks of our time and adding beats and rap to a simple song always seems (and sounds) like a very, very bad idea.

However, not all songs are necessarily bad. Yes, we agree that original is original and nothing can come close to the OG music but there are some songs that have been made so meticulously that they didn't take the essence out of the classic version. In fact, they got us listening to them on loop.

Here are 5 such Bollywood remixes that actually turned out to be better and more popular than the OG track.

    1. Kaala Chashma
Okay, the popular punjabi party song revived in Baar Baar Dekho and it certainly got much more popular than the original track. The new version is being played non-stop at weddings and parties. They didn’t really modify the music, beats or the lyrics much and that’s exactly how you pull off a remix without pissing the fans off.
    2. Chalti Hai Kya 9 Se 12
Only 90s kids know what a rage this song was back in the day and when the rumours of a remix of this iconic song was announced, we could only hope they won’t mess the song up. Fortunately, it got peppier, dancey and didn’t include any weird rap. They even kept the hook step!
    3. Mere Rashke Qamar
The song by the legendary duo Nusrat & Rahat Fateh Ali Khan was remade into this romantic melody for Baadshaho and only received double taps and likes from the audience upon its release. It also became viral in a couple of days and surpassed the popularity the OG song gained. You can’t deny that the remix has the same freshness and serenity of the original song.
    4. Laila Main Laila
As soon as this song starts, you know it’s way as good as the iconic song starring Zeenat Aman. It’s a dance number which has Sunny Leone and Shah Rukh Khan that got us grooving at the tunes, thanks to its peppy beats and the powerful voice of Pawni Pandey.
    5. Tamma Tamma Again
Madhuri Dixit’s classic ‘Tamma Tamma’ made an appearance in Badrinath Ki Dulhania as ‘Tamma Tamma Again’. The song begins with lines from the original song and seeps into this catchy dance track that you can’t probably keep yourself from dancing to. It was being played in all clubs and parties the year it was released and people loved it more than the previous version.

The troll army is always scrutinizing Bollywood celebrities and has been rather ruthless when it comes to degrading them for several reasons. Tiger Shroff has been at the receiving end of trolls when he stepped into the industry and he was told that he has feminine looks.

Tiger Shroff, in a new promo video for the third episode of Arbaaz Khan's talk show, Pinch, said that he had received a lot of hate surrounding his looks early in his career. He said in Hindi, "Before the release also, I used to be trolled a lot for my looks. People used to say, 'is he a hero or a heroine? He doesn't look like Jackie Dada's son at all.' It was a deliberate move to play to my strengths."
Talking about trolls, he said, If you're being trolled or bullied, it's only because you've made an impact. Whatever I am today, it's because of the audiences... As long as I'm number one in your heart, that's what matters to me.” He was also asked if he is a virgin, to which replied, "Like Salman bhai, I am a virgin.”
    Here’s the video:

He also added that people went on to say that he doesn’t look like his dad Jackie Shroff. “I was trolled for my looks. People use to say – Yeh hero hai ya heroine? Ye Jackie Dada ka beta lagta hi nahi hai,” added the actor. He further elaborated, “Just the fact that you have the power to say anything good or bad is sometimes scary.”
Earlier this year, in an interview, Tiger’s sister Krishna Shroff spoke about how it is unfair to compare Tiger with Jackie Shroff. She had said, “What my father created for himself and has done till date is unmatchable. What Tiger has done in such a short span is so impressive. So, it is not fair to compare Tiger with our father or me with any of the two. There is room for everyone. So, people should live and let live.
This is unfair how anyone is targeted because of their physical appearance.
