    It has been more than a year since we lost Sushant Singh Rajput but there’s no end to the misery of his fans and loved ones who want to know what happened on the unfortunate day of 14th June 2020. It’s still very hard to believe and come to terms with the fact that people who genuinely adored him won't be able to see him on the big screen anymore. His friends and family are still finding it hard to deal with this irreparable loss. 
    Before he became a Bollywood star, he showed his charm in the Television industry and his character of Manav in Pavitra Rishta made him a household name.

    However, there were reports stating Shaheer Sheikh will be playing the role of Manav in the second part of the show. He has now confirmed the reports and penned a long note regarding the same.
    He wrote, “When I was first approached for PR2 (Pavitra Rishta 2.0), I was taken aback. Who in their right frame of mind would dare to play a character immortalized by Sushant Singh Rajput. I too was reluctant. Then I thought, knowing Sushant he was one to take every challenge head-on. And so I decided that while it is scary to step into his shoes & live up to audience expectations… it is scarier to NOT even try. And so I did what I felt he would do if he was in my position. I took the challenge."

    He further wrote, "When the team told me they wanted someone earnest so that we could all tell a story that was a fitting homage to Sushant’s legacy… I decided to give it my all and leave the rest to the audience and The Almighty. Working with a team that loved & respected him immensely only adds to the genuine intent in all our hearts. Sushant, you will always be Manav. Nothing can change that & no one can replace that. I may not be as good, and I may not do justice to it as you did, but I promise to give it my ALL. #pavitrarishta2."
    For true Manav fans, it clearly was hard to imagine any other actor stepping into Sushant’s shoes. And the announcement completely backfired at him and the entire team, including Ankita Lokhande and Ekta Kapoor.
    People are angry and have been wanting to boycott the show completely. They have bashed Shaheer for not saying a single word when the tragedy happened. They are slamming Ankita for using Sushant’s fame as her golden ticket. They think it’s more to do with TRPs than actually giving a tribute to SSR.

    Jackie Shroff recently worked with Tiger Shroff’s rumored girlfriend Disha Patani in Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai. Jackie Shroff expressed how they have shared food on sets sometimes. They’ve also previously worked together in Bharat but they didn’t have any scenes with each other. 

    Disha Patani is rumoured to be dating Jackie Shroff’s son Tiger Shroff. However, both haven’t confirmed their relationship yet but they are frequently spotted on outings with each other, and not only this, but they also go on vacations together.

    KL Rahul’s rumoured relationship with Bollywood actor Athiya Shetty has been doing rounds since God knows when, but the couple has never acknowledged that both of them are dating, at least not in public.
    The Karnataka batsman is currently in the United Kingdom for the Test series against England and the pictures Rahul and Athiya have shared on social media in the last couple of months have given rise to the speculations that both of them had travelled to the UK together.
    Given the length of the tour, the BCCI allowed players’ families to travel with them and according to a report published in Hindustan Times, KL Rahul had declared Athiya as his partner in the documents submitted to the logistics department.

    “The couple left India together for England for the World Test Championship last month. Before leaving, the logistics department had asked all players for names of people travelling with each of them,” read a report in Hindustan Times, quoting sources.

    “The players were supposed to give the names of whether they would be travelling with wives or partners, for which KL Rahul listed Athiya Shetty as his partner. She travelled in the same bubble and stayed in Southampton with the team,” the report added.

    Before boarding the UK flight, the players and their partners lived in a bio-bubble in Mumbai and Athiya was also part of the same safety bubble.

    India’s tour began with the World Test Championship final against New Zealand in Southampton and Athiya stayed in the team bio-bubble with KL Rahul at the Ageas Bowl.
    The WTC final didn’t go India’s way as the Kiwis led by Kane Williamson came out on top, beating Virat Kohli ’s men by eight wickets last month.

    Both KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty have shared a lot of pictures together in the past but haven’t posted anything online recently that suggests both of them are together in the UK.

    Despite being extra careful, fans think there is enough evidence to prove that both of them are indeed spending their time together in the UK.

    Despite both of them treading extra-careful, the pictures they have shared on their respective Instagram stories features a common friend Sonali Fabiani, in which she was wearing the same red puffer jacket, which fans think suggests that both of them are indeed together in England.

    While KL Rahul hasn’t posted anything with Athiya, he is enjoying his break away from cricket along with Athiya’s brother Ahan Shetty in the UK.

    Sharing a video of Rahul and Ahan from their morning jogging, Suniel Shetty described them both as “MY LOVE MY STRENGTH” which suggests that the Indian cricketer has perhaps found the blessing of Bollywood’s Anna and it’s only a matter of time before they make their relationship official.

    Aamir Khan and the crew of his upcoming movie Laal Singh Chaddha were criticised for littering Wakha village in Ladakh after the shoot. Aamir, in particular, was accused of having double standards as he speaks of environmental cleanliness but in reality, he polluted the beautiful land of Ladakh.
    “This is the gift Bollywood star Amir Khan’s upcoming movie Lal Singh Chada has left for the villagers of Wakha in Ladakh. Amir Khan himself talks a lot about environmental cleanliness at Satyamev Jayate but this is what happens when it comes to himself,” wrote a Twitter user named Jigmat Ladakhi and shared the clip wherein one can see the plastic bottles spread across the area.

    After the video went viral, people started sharing their opinions. Some felt these were just rumours while some said that Aamir’s team should clean the place every day.

    Now, Aamir Khan and his team have denied all these allegations in a statement. In the statement, Aamir Khan Productions team said, "To whomsoever it may concern: AKP (Aamir Khan Productions) would like to clarify that as a company we follow strict protocols for cleanliness in and around our shooting spaces. We have a team which makes sure that the location is kept trash-free at all times. At the end of the day there is a re-check of the entire location. At the end of the entire schedule, we make sure that when we leave a location we leave it as clean, or cleaner than we found it."

    "We believe that there are some rumours/allegations about our location not being kept clean. We strongly deny such claims. Our location is always open to relevant local authorities to carry out checks anytime that they like," the statement added. 
    Replying to a statement shared by the team, Jigmat Ladakhi took to Twitter and wrote, “Our main concern was to protect the fragile environment of Ladakh not to defame anyone. I tweeted on the basis of eye witnesses of many people who went to the location to see the shooting but many of them came home with sad eyes. The video itself is the proof.” He also added, “However, the area has now been cleaned. Yesterday, from what we got to know, the crew members cleaned the entire area after the video went viral on social media. We want to thank the national media and Amair Khan production for taking a great step towards cleanliness drive.”

In fact, the 34-year old was finally able to enter the massive Indian market while getting a mega-endorsement, and that too in a business that remains the very core of the really desi people of the country.
    On Tuesday, a picture went viral on the Indian social media in which the portrait image of the Argentine Footballer could be seen on the packaging of a beedi bundle - which is a thin cigarette or mini-cigar filled with tobacco flake and commonly wrapped in a tendu, which originated in the Indian subcontinent.
    “Messi Biri” proudly reads the pack with the smiling picture of the five-time Golden Boot winner stamped on the cover in black, yellow, and white. Clearly, Arif Bidi Factory in Dhuliyan has got some big budgets to endorse their cigarette to have signed such a big world, a world influence, to promote their product.

    However, the truth is that there is a very unhealthy way of transforming your body, building muscle mass and bulk up fast, which is using anabolic steroids and growth hormones.

    A lot of celebs get jacked to look super muscular in photoshoots and films. It’s no secret. However, no one admits or even addresses it in the film industry.

    People on Twitter agreed with him. They talked about how male stars promote unrealistic expectations for real men by appearing in ads, magazines and films with a sculpted body that they probably gained from steroids. 
    Also, they called out the hypocrisy of celebrities who preach about health and fitness while simultaneously contributing to superficial body standards.

    If you were a fan of the ancient Indian epic Ramayana, you'd be familiar with how the Hindu god, Ram, who was also the exiled prince of Ayodhya, used the help of Hanuman to rescue his wife Sita by defeating Ravan, in an ultimate battle.

    Well, you'd also remember that Ravan, the King of Lanka, also had a brother called Kumbhkaran, who fascinated us equally. The saying was that Kumbhkaran would sleep for as long as six months because of a curse on him. 

    During the war between Ram and Ravan, Kumbhkaran was awakened with great difficulty as he only ended up waking up after a thousand elephants walked on top of him. Imagine waking someone up who sleeps like that? Hard, right?
    Well, there is indeed a real-life Kumbhkaran who resides in Rajasthan and goes by the name of Purkharam. (kind of rhymes, don't you think?) The 42-year-old man from Rajasthan's Nagaur city is apparently even more difficult to wake up than Kumbhkaran, as Purkharam actually sleeps for 300 days in a year.

    Now, while it is obviously fascinating to find someone who sleeps like that, the fact is that Purkharam, unfortunately, suffers from a rare disorder which is known as Axis hypersomnia. With normal people usually needing just six to eight hours of sleep a day, Purkharam ends up sleeping 25 days at a stretch due to the rare disorder which he was diagnosed with around 23 years ago.

    In the initial days of the condition, he would end up sleeping excessively, around 15 hours a day, after which his family got worried and sought medical help. However, his condition worsened as years went by, and his sleeping duration increased from several hours to several days in a month. 
    Now, his symptoms are far worse than anyone could have imagined as he sleeps for 20 to 25 days at a stretch. 
    Purkharam, who operates a local shop, is unfortunately able to work for only five days a month, as it becomes very difficult to wake him up when he sleeps. As a result, his family has to feed him and bathe him while he is still asleep most of the time. 
    The condition is clearly no joke, as despite receiving treatment and due to the excess sleep, he feels fatigued most of the time and often complains that his productivity is almost close to nil. 
    As per reports, he also complains of severe headaches amongst some of the symptoms of his rare condition. His family, of course, wants him to recover from it so that one day he can lead a normal life like everyone else and be rid of this awful sleeping curse.

    Indian-origin star, Justin Narayan who impressed the judges and us with his ingenious cooking skills, has won the trophy of MasterChef Australia season 13. 

    He beat three other contestants and reached the grand finale, must to the delight of Indian fans across the world. 
    The 27-year-old was pitted against Pete and Kishwar for the last assignment, and it was an epic grand finale. Justin's journey was teeming with ups and downs, but he took the trophy home despite all the challenges.

    Justin was awarded $250,000 (Rs 1.86 Crores approx.) and the trophy. Pete was the first runner up, who received $30,000, whereas Kishwar received $20,000.

    We all know how complex the challenges are on MasterChef. Justin won by a thin margin and scored a massive 40 points for the savoury dish he made. For the dessert, Justin gained 30 points.
    Justin shared his victory on Instagram and wrote, "Find people that believe in you. Back yourself. Go hard and hopefully you'll surprise yourself! Whoever's reading this I love you." 
    Justin is the second Indian origin participant to win the show. Back in 2018, it was Sashi Cheliah, a prison guard, who took the award home. 
    For the unversed, Narayan started cooking at the age of 13 and had produced some memorable meals. His meals have always been inspired by Fijian and Indian heritage. 
    First, he worked as a youth pastor and created a safe space for teenagers. He then went out on a limb to achieve his dreams and resigned from his job to commit to his passion for cooking.

    In a video shared by the page, he also spoke about it being a surreal feeling to win and how he is still processing it. 
    He also said that he is waiting to party with his friends and family members and described the show as one of the best experiences of his life.

    The official MasterChef Australia also shared pictures of the contestants and wrote, "Congratulations to our#MasterChefAU 2021 WINNER!" 

    On the show, Narayan impressed the judges with several Indian dishes, including pickle salad, Charcoal Chicken, Chicken with Toum, Flatbread etc.

    Elon Musk bought a ticket to space from fellow Billionaire Richard Branson’s Virgin Galactic according to a statement provided by the company to The Wall Street Journal. Musk had reportedly bought the ticket before Branson’s flight to space on Sunday and it’s unclear whether Musk is one of the 600 other prospective SpaceShipTwo passengers.

    However, the ticket bought by Musk may just be an extension of his friendship with Branson which can also be seen as a friendly endorsement of Virgin Galactic’s rocket-powered plane. Branson flew to space on Sunday on Virgin Galactic’s Unity 22 vehicle. Branson and three other employees floated around the vehicle’s cabin in microgravity before landing back a few minutes later. 

    On the other hand,  Elon Musk’s SpaceX has mostly been focused on securing Government contracts to ferry cargo, astronauts and satellites into space. The company will also carry out its first private astronaut mission later this year in September. SpaceX’s fusion will be a longer trip into orbit and far more expensive than Blue Origin and Virgin Galactic’s space trips.

    It is worth pointing out that Musk saw the Virgin Galactic takeoff in person from Spaceport America on Sunday. “Thanks for being so typically supportive and such a good friend, Elon,” Branson tweeted before the flight. Branson also spent his morning with Musk before liftoff. “Great to start the morning with a friend,” he said in another tweet. Feeling good, feeling excited, feeling ready.”

    SpaceShipTwo will be Virgin Galactic’s premier rocket plane that will be at the centre of the company’s space tourism business. The vehicle is said to have six seats that roughly sell for $350K each. So far, the company has booked over 600 passengers that includes celebrities like Leonardo DiCaprio, Justin Bieber amongst others.

    Bezos’ Blue Origin will also be aiming to launch customers into space albeit at a slightly higher altitude. Bezos is all set to launch into space later this month on July 20th on the company’s New Shepard rocket. Bezos is also reportedly expected to go to a higher altitude than Richard Branson.
