In the age of social media, rumours have become the way of life and famous personalities often become the victim of baseless stories about them floating in the online market. People have become way too quick to pass their judgments, which often ends up affecting celebrities in more ways than one.
Recently, actress Ankita Lokhande found herself in a fix when people started to troll for her alleged participation in Bigg Boss 15.
Turns out, she is not a part of Bigg Boss and the rumours of her participation are baseless.
She took to Instagram to shut down rumours of her Bigg Boss 15 participation herself. She also added that she's been receiving a lot of hate for something that she's not even part of.
"It has come to my notice that certain sections of the media have been speculating that I will be participating in Bigg Boss this year. I would like them and everyone at large to know and make a note that I am not going to be a part of the show. The rumours of my participation are baseless. People have been too quick to send me their hatred for something that I'm not even a part of," Ankita's statement read.

Her Instagram followers were happy to know that she is not a part of the show and also added that they are glad she clarified as this was the best way to deal with the haters.

Ankita Lokhande rose to fame with the TV show Pavitra Rishta where she played the role of Archana Deshmukh opposite late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The two dated for six years and separated in 2016.
On his first death anniversary, she dropped a video remembering him. The video gave a glimpse into the kind of bond Sushant and Ankita shared with each other.
Earlier this month, Ankita celebrated 12 years of Pavitra Rishta and spoke about how Sushant was the one who taught her how to act.

“Sushant is no longer with us and Pavitra Rishta is definitely incomplete without him. Archana ka Manav sirf vahi tha (He was the only Manav to Archana). I am sure he is watching us today and is just happy wherever he is,” Ankita said, adding later, “Sushant always taught me acting. I wasn’t an actor. He was the one who used to teach me what is acting. Because I was a junior, he was a senior. He always taught me. He was a brilliant actor, brilliant co-star and I was very fortunate to work with him.”
Ankita made her Bollywood debut with Kangana Ranaut’s Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi in 2019.
She was last seen on Baaghi 3, which also has Tiger Shroff, Shraddha Kapoor, and Riteish Deshmukh.

Tony Kakkar is among the new-age singers in the music industry with millions of young fans and he has delivered songs that top the charts as soon as they come out.
However, he has also been fodder for memes and has been trolled for his music and 'repetitive' lyrics too.

He took to Twitter yesterday to chat with his followers and started the hashtag #AskTony, urging his fans to ask him anything. The hashtag was trending in no time.
While his loyalists used the opportunity to ask the singer about his musical inspiration and his next song, others trolled him with memes and sarcastic questions.

Amidst this AMA session, a fan asked him how keeps his calm and deals with criticism? To this, Kakkar responded with the lyrics of an iconic song and said that his music has given him everything.
“Kuch toh log kahenge...I know what my music has given me. My home, my cars, my daily Starbucks ..Everything !! Bina khilono(toys) ke bachpan beeta hai (I spent my childhood without any toys),” he wrote.

He, along with his sisters Neha Kakkar and Sonu Kakkar, who are popular Bollywood singers now, used to sing in religious events as kids and whether you like them or not, you cannot deny the fact that they have come a long way.

Some of Tony Kakkar’s songs like ‘Dheeme Dheeme’ and ‘Coca Cola’ have been the most popular songs.
He recently released a song ‘Number Likh’ with Bigg Boss 14 fame Nikki Tamboli and it too had rather repetitive lyrics.

It seems like what started as a subject for trolling has become Kakkar’s signature style.

The World Test Championship final came as a huge disappointment for Virat Kohli and his troops as they were outplayed by Kane Williamson’s New Zealand in Southampton.
The defeat sparked a huge debate about what went wrong for the Indian team -- was it the wrong approach or the choice of wrong personnel -- that contributed to their heartbreaking loss?
In the absence of a proper seaming all-rounder, India went in with two spin-bowling all-rounders Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja but both got little help from the pitch throughout the match.
View this post on Instagram
There is no denying the fact that Kohli and the management picked the Playing XI they thought would give the side the perfect balance, but the move backfired as the overcast conditions were tailor-made for fast bowling and India has only three pacers up their ranks, with none of them known for swinging the ball in the air.
It came as a huge surprise when India’s ‘best swing bowler’ Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who would have enjoyed bowling in such conditions, was not picked for the England tour and former selector Sarandeep Singh feels it was a “huge mistake”.

"Not taking Bhuvi to England is a huge mistake. He is the best swing bowler you have and he is not even part of the squad," former selector Sarandeep Singh told PTI .
Apart from Bhuvi, another major reason why India picked two spinners was the lack of a proper fast-bowling all-rounder, someone like Hardik Pandya, who would have provided the side with the perfect balance. But Hardik, ever since undergoing his lower back surgery, hasn’t started bowling at full tilt and was dropped from the side altogether.

The Indian team which prides itself on a terrific bench strength is yet to find a like-for-like replacement for Hardik.
With Hardik’s priority being the T20 World Cup, now is the perfect time for selectors and the team management to look beyond him and explore other options like Shardul Thakur, Vijay Shankar or Shivam Dube and groom them to take his place.
© Instagrma/Hardik Pandya
"You can't be relying only on Hardik anymore. You don't know when he will be fit enough to bowl in all formats so someone like Shardul needs to be groomed or even Vijay Shankar or Shivam Dube are there.
"They deserve to win, they are playing well for over four years but why it is not happening means there is something wrong," he added.

Shirt collars are much like hair, you don’t notice them until you switch to a different one. But when is the right time to make that change?
Decisions like “should I wear a solid blue shirt or one with black-and-white stripes?”, “loose fit or slim fit?” are easy. But choosing from different types of collar is the real task.
Choosing a collar shape is primarily a matter of personal taste but each design has a history and a sartorial vibe that makes it complement different outfits on different occasions.
This is why we’ve assembled a quick guide to wearing each type of collar in its full glory.
Button Down CollarIt’s said that button down collars were invented for polo players as they needed something to prevent their shirt collars from flapping while they were on field. Men who enjoy the comfort and style of smart casuals at work or events never let go of this one.

Printed Mandarin CollarThis unisex collar style has a couple of variations—band collar and Nehru collar. The mandarin collar was worn by Chinese bureaucrats in the 17th century which is why even with a modern twist, it continues to add elegance. Band collars are best suited for a festive gathering or a semi-formal event.

Spread CollarSpread collar is versatile. You can wear it with your business outfits or smart casuals, with or without a tie. It looks great when paired with a softly tailored blazer.

Cuban CollarAloha shirts were widely popular in the west during the 50s. Seventy years later, this breezy open collar has established itself as a summer staple for stylish men all around the world. Cuban collars can add a relaxed vibe to anything—from well-fitted trousers to comfy pyjamas.
How to wear cuban collars? A half-sleeve cuban collar shirt with chinos or beach shorts and sneakers is perfect for sunny days.

Peter Pan Club CollarThe rounded Peter Pan club collar is a more casual option. It has a youthful and relaxed look. For the longest, it has been a key element of school uniforms but it remains a favourite among men who want to bring a hint of creativity, a sense of old-fashioned artists and writers to their tailoring.
__ECOMPRODUCT__1721__
V- NeckNot exactly a collar type but V-neck shirts complement men with rounder or wider face structure. But remember to not go too deep. The point of V should hit no more than about 3 inches from the collarbone line. V-necks can help you standout in a friendly gathering by accentuating all the right features.
__ECOMPRODUCT__1444__
TurtleneckNot all turtlenecks are for winters. They symbolise warmth, style and modesty. Initially, turtlenecks were only worn by polo players, the Navy, fishermen, etc. until it became a unisex trend. If you’re not worried about the double chin, wear a turtleneck to add elegance to your outfit.
__ECOMPRODUCT__1950__
Final ThoughtsA collar may not seem like the most important feature of a shirt but trust us, it is. Even when you pick a shirt based on its fit, print and colour, it’s the collar that changes the entire game.
Pro tip: If your intention is to hide the double chin, go for the ones with long collar stands and deeper neckline.

Twitter’s interim resident grievance officer for India has stepped away from his position. The micro-blogging site and other social media platforms have been mandated by the new IT rules to address complaints from Indian users which requires a grievance officer based in India.
Dharmendra Chatur, who was recently appointed as interim resident grievance officer for India by Twitter, has quit the position at a time when the company is facing a tussle with the Indian government. Twitter no longer displays his name as the grievance officer which is required under the new Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules 2021.
Twitter And The Indian Government Tussle The micro-blogging site has been engaged in a tussle with the Indian government for deliberately defying the new IT rules and failure to comply with the country’s new IT rules. The new rules came into effect on May 26th which mandates social media companies to establish a grievance redress system for resolving complaints from users or victims. The new Guidelines was issued in February 2021 and required all significant social media intermediaries to designate officers for these roles by May 26.
Social media platforms that have more than 50 lakh users are required to appoint a grievance officer to deal with raised complaints and are also required to share the contact details of the officer, as per the rules. The social media websites are also required to appoint a chief compliance officer and a Nodal Contact Person. All officers appointed by the social media companies need to be residents of India.
While Twitter resisted the new IT rules until the deadline date, the company responded to a final notice issued by the government on June 5th that it intends to comply with the new IT rules. The social media giant appointed Chatur as an interim resident grievance officer for India until a permanent replacement was found. Twitter now display’s the company’s name in place of Chatur’s name on its website with a US address and an email ID.

Losing the World Test Championship final to New Zealand continues to bring along some harsh criticism for the Indian cricket team from all over the world with the captain, Virat Kohli at the very centre of it all.
Former Pakistan captain Salman Butt has now weighed in on the matter and some a step further in questioning Kohli’s legacy as a captain, stating the importance of winning world titles and other multinational tournaments to truly become immortal in the world of any sport.
View this post on Instagram
“India were on top for five years but sadly couldn’t win the biggest match of all, so people are bound to raise questions. You can be a very good captain, but if you don’t win any title, masses won’t remember you,” Butt said in an interaction on YouTube.
“Maybe you are a good captain and have good plans, but your bowler may not be able to execute it. So luck has to be on your side as well. People only remember those who win tournaments,” he added.
View this post on Instagram
“Sometimes, you may not be a great captain, but your team may be very good, and you may end up winning a major title. So that does not define a captain, but for the world, of course, a good captain is one who has won big events,” he said.
“Virat Kohli has not won any ICC title; neither has he won the IPL. He is a top-class cricketer, has excellent body language and is aggressive. His energy level is at a different level, and it is evident that he wants to give his best every time he steps out in the middle. But captains should be subtle and not fiery. During the WTC final, we kept hearing that it is a battle between fire (Virat Kohli) and ice (Kane Williamson). Most top-class captains who have won titles were cool or gesture-less at crunch moments. Virat Kohli is a man full of gestures. Had he won, he would have been praised no end,” Butt went on to say.
View this post on Instagram
Across all formats of the game, Kohli has captained the Indian side in 201 matches out of which he has won 128, lost 56 while 17 of them ended in a draw, tie or without a result. As far as red-ball cricket in concerned, Kohli is already the most successful Indian skipper with 36 wins.
