Tony Kakkar is among the new-age singers in the music industry with millions of young fans and he has delivered songs that top the charts as soon as they come out. 

However, he has also been fodder for memes and has been trolled for his music and 'repetitive' lyrics too.

He took to Twitter yesterday to chat with his followers and started the hashtag #AskTony, urging his fans to ask him anything. The hashtag was trending in no time. 

While his loyalists used the opportunity to ask the singer about his musical inspiration and his next song, others trolled him with memes and sarcastic questions.

Amidst this AMA session, a fan asked him how keeps his calm and deals with criticism? To this, Kakkar responded with the lyrics of an iconic song and said that his music has given him everything. 

“Kuch toh log kahenge...I know what my music has given me. My home, my cars, my daily Starbucks ..Everything !! Bina khilono(toys) ke bachpan beeta hai (I spent my childhood without any toys),” he wrote.

He, along with his sisters Neha Kakkar and Sonu Kakkar, who are popular Bollywood singers now, used to sing in religious events as kids and whether you like them or not, you cannot deny the fact that they have come a long way.

Some of Tony Kakkar’s songs like ‘Dheeme Dheeme’ and ‘Coca Cola’ have been the most popular songs.

He recently released a song ‘Number Likh’ with Bigg Boss 14 fame Nikki Tamboli and it too had rather repetitive lyrics.
