As Shah Rukh Khan completed a successful run of 29 years in Bollywood, he decided to conduct an 'Ask Me Anything' session. King Khan is extremely witty and his Twitter sessions are always fun. He can be sassy and creative in replying to his fans. With this new interactive session, we got to know the current state of his mind, and all we can say is that he is quite optimistic.

Hereβs all we could gauge through his Ask Me Anything Session:Β
1. We are living in an era where negativity can consume us very easily. In the lockdown times, people have been finding it hard to control their chain of thoughts. In his session, we got to know that SRK is rejuvenating and is focusing more on himself rather than listening to the negativity around him. One of the Twitter users asked, βHow to be positive in today's era full of negativity?? #AskSRKβ and hereβs how he responded:

3. SRK knows how to add vibes of positivity to his conversations. We got to know that he is a believer in doing things in a better way and his dose of inspirational quotes can work for many others. A Twitter user asked, βWhich is the most inspiring thing that you learnt on the journey of 29 years? #AskSrk?β To which he said:

5. Many Twitter users have asked him in the past about his future projects and even said that his career is over but the actor has a way to deal with the negativity which proves that he is a space wherein he is not letting any negativity seep in. One fan asked him if he was βberozgaar (unemployed)β. βApp bhi Berozgaar ho gaye kya sir.. Hamari trah (Sir, are you also unemployed now, like the rest of us?),β the fan asked, to which Shah Rukh gave a cryptic response: βJo kuch nahi karteβ¦.woh (Those who donβt do anything, they)β¦β

Youβd been with your partner for a while now, seen each other through thick and thin, been each otherβs biggest cheerleaders when the time came and at times, their worst critics to push them to do better. Youβd shared more than just a bed with them, youβd shared laughs, secrets and life as you knew it. And one such part of life is also death.Β

When youβre involved in a romantic relationship with someone, you are bound to come across moments of grief as a couple, whether it is through experiencing traumatic events, failure or even mourning the loss of a loved one. And it is during these very tough times that it becomes most important for us to ensure our significant other knows we are there for them as they struggle to cope with the loss of someone in their life.
Here are 5 ways you can support your partner through the grief of losing a loved one.
Donβt Try To Find The Silver Lining Β© iStock
One of the most disrespectful things to say in the face of death to a loved one is to try and make them see the positive side to it. Phrases like, βbut, he lived a long and fulfilling lifeβ, often imply that you are being insensitive to the pain and expecting your partner to be okay with it. Donβt focus on cheering them up, sometimes simply being there is enough.Β
Itβs Okay To Let Them Cry Β© iStock
Grief is often said to come in waves. It comes and goes and when that happens, it is advised to let your partner know that it is okay to cry. Crying, as a matter of fact, has been said to be therapeutic. It doesnβt just make one feel lighter but also is a healthy way to release all the emotions that would have been building up inside.Β
Donβt Try To Fill The Silences Β© iStock
You see your partner mourning the loss of someone close, someone special and despite being there for them in person, you feel you havenβt been more far apart from them. You want to say the right thing, but struggle to find the right words. My advice? Donβt try too hard.Β
There are times in life where more than your consoling words, your partner needs your shoulder to lean on. Let the silence between the two of you be comfortable. You donβt have to talk to let them know, theyβre not alone.Β
Let Them Choose Their Own Pace Β© iStock
While you may be coming from a place of concern, rushing your partner through the mourning process can only result in making them feel more displaced than ever. It is okay to let your partner figure out their own pace through it. Denial, acceptance and everything in between will take its own time to come and go, and the best thing you can do is be patient as your partner takes this journey.Β
Step Up Β© iStock
As much as you can be there for your partner emotionally during such a difficult time, it is important to realise that there are a few battles that they may have to win alone. However, that doesnβt mean you canβt be of help in other ways. Try to step up and take charge of other things in their life. Helping them plan the funeral, taking care of daily chores and cooking food, helping them respond to condolence calls, etc. Chances are, theyβd feel much better knowing they can fall on you for support.

Not all comic book heroes succeed wildly in films and TV shows. Some of the best ones, in fact, have had disastrous venturesΒ in movies and shows.
Β© Warner Bros. Pictures
If thereβs one thing that Marvel & DC Comics moviesΒ have shown us consistently, it is the fact that superhero movies and TV shows are wildly successful among todayβs audiences.Β
Β© Warner Bros. Pictures
Take Iron Man as an example. That role single-handedly made Robert Downey Jr. one of the most bankable stars overnight. Heck, that role made RDJ, one of the highest-paid actors in HollywoodΒ over the course of his stint at Marvel Cinemas. Not to mention the fact that the movies made Iron Man a wildly popular character.
Β© Marvel Cinemas
One would think that all comic book heroes are just as successful in movies & TV shows, right? Well, not quite. There are many comic book characters that tanked in movies and TV. Heck, there have been a number of great, wildly successful superheroes, who were wildly popular in comic books, but failed to take off in movies and TV series.
Β© Warner Bros. Pictures
We take a look at 9 such comic book superheroes that tanked badly in movies & TV shows
Daredevil Β© 20th Century Fox
Marvelβs Daredevil has had one of the most widely read comic books, and was just as popular as Batman, at least in terms of comic sales. However, Daredevil just couldnβt take off in cinema and TV shows. Ben Affleck actually played the character in a 2003 movie, which tanked miserably at the box office.
The Phantom Β© Paramount Pictures
The Phantom is considered to be the first superhero comic character ever to have been made. It was widely read when it appeared as comic strips in newspapers. DC finally acquired the rights of the character in 1988, and went berserk with the character - it was massively popular. One or two films were made, but neither of them could place The Phantom into the spotlight.Β
Catwoman Β© Warner Bros. Pictures
This may come as a surprise, but Catwoman has never been successful in films or TV shows. This, despite the fact that we have had someone like Halle Berry play the character in a stand-alone film. The most notable Catwoman we have had in recent years was Anne Hathway in The Dark Knight Rises. In comic books though, the character has a phenomenal following.
Green Lantern Β© Warner Bros. Pictures
You wouldnβt exactly expect a movie with Ryan Reynolds as the least to tank at the Box Office. Well, you certainly donβt expect that, when he has been given one of the most iconic characters in DCβs universe. Green Lantern has had a massive fan base among comic book nerds. Just look at The Big Bang Theory and youβll get an idea. However, ever since that 2011 debacle of a film called Green Lantern, we havenβt had any other version come along our way.
Steel Β© Warner Bros. Pictures
This is where we get into a bit of niche comic books. Steel was a character who took up Supermanβs mantle after he was killed in the comics by Doomsday. Even after Superman was resurrected, Steel had a good enough following that DC decided to keep Steel as a sidekick to Superman. In 1997, Warner Brothers actually made a film on Steel, with NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal playing the lead character. This was a time when basketball players were increasingly being seen in films. Also, Shaq was pretty popular back then. And yet, the film tanked badly at the Box Office.
The Punisher Β© Marvel Cinemas
Now, before you start typing away angrily in the comments about how Marvelβs The Punisher is a successful Netflix series, hear me out. Yes, this iteration of the Punisher is successful, and a great one. However, this is one of the rare occasions where the Punisher has been a success. Also, not to mention the fact that The Punisher, as good a show as it was, did not get renewed for the third season. Fans of the superhero have to make do with the comics for this one.
RoboCop Β© Sony Pictures Releasing
RoboCop actually has a peculiar history. The first movie ever that was made about RoboCop was a decently successful film, not too great though. Marvel decided to acquire the rights and make a series of comic books, which did decently well as well. When other publications took over RoboCop, it just exploded. It also had a successful animated series. However, barring that first film, and the animated series, RoboCop has proven to be a disaster. Fans just havenβt responded to it as enthusiastically as they have to the comics.
Special MentionHulk Β© Universal Pictures
Hulk has been a wildly successful character as a part of the Avengers. However, prior to that, Hulkβs individual films did not do that well at the Box Office. The 2003 movie Hulk starring Eric Bana was a good movie, but failed to get any new fans for the character. Similarly, The Incredible Hulk starring Edward Norton was a decently made film, and is Marvel Cinemaβs first undertaking. However, it did not work out as well as they had hoped.

The Indian cricket team is currently in the middle of a 20-day break from the sport and have been allowed by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to explore the United Kingdom, while adhering to the COVID-19 protocol set in place by the British government.
This means that some of the cricketers are now looking forward to attending Wimbledon, others are hoping to get their hands on a couple of Euro Cup tickets, while the rest may wish to do some sightseeing.
View this post on Instagram
For Dinesh Karthik , however, the priority was to visit an English Saloon and get himself a fresh haircut. The cricketer-turned commentator therefore decided to visit a barber shop in the vicinity along with Team India all-rounder Washington Sundar, and ended up finding himself in a pretty awkward situation.
In a video recently shared by Sundar from his official Twitter handle, Karthik could be seen sitting in his seat motionlessly, while wearing a barberβs cape, a helpless smile on his face and his eyes looking around awkwardly.
DK looking Sundar! π€ͺ @DineshKarthik pic.twitter.com/KK09v0Gn0i
β Washington Sundar (@Sundarwashi5) June 25, 2021
After watching the video, even the fans were wondering why Karthikβs smile looked as if he was crying on the inside.
Yoooo why does he look like he's internally crying!?!?!?!!!

In the recently concluded World Test Championship final, Karthik made a stunning debut as a commentator and ended up impressing the viewers from all over the world with his wit, information and knowledge of the game.Β
On the other hand, Sundar, who was selected for the Team India squad for the WTC and the upcoming five-match Test series against England, had to sit out as a reserve with the two all-rounder positions being filled by Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja.

The 20-day break for the Men in Blue is expected to get over on 14th July when all of them will reunite in London to resume practice for the England series. Upon recent negotiations between BCCI secretary Jay Shah and the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), Virat Kohli and Co. will also get two warm-up matches at Durham ahead of the series. These will be intra-squad in nature, possibly keeping in mind the added risk of contracting the COVID-19 virus if playing against an external squad.

Indian director Satyajit Rayβs films revolutionized Bengali stories on the screen in a way that we all felt we are somewhere indebted to him for changing how cinema can be portrayed. He had modern influences into his stories and weaved human emotions in a way that even the 21st-century millennials could also relate to it. His films and stories are coming-of-the-age tales. The complexity of human emotions was presented by him on the screen and he was an under-appreciated filmmaker back then. People started to understand his cinematic vision way later and then, he became Indiaβs very own Shakespeare.
His films use lyricism to portray human emotions and thereβs a quality in his movies that the events do not look forced. Many modern filmmakers took cues from his works and kept his qualities of telling a story alive. Netflix announced an anthology Ray to give tribute to the great master. When the trailer was released, I had high hopes but it all came crashing down when I finally got to watch the show. I had high expectations from the stories but the storytelling did disappoint me.
Letβs do a quick analysis of all four episodes. I have segregated it for a better understanding for all our readers.
1. Forget Me Not View this post on Instagram
Ali Fazal plays Ipsit, a corporate giant known as a human-computer by his colleagues and all the acquaintances he has known in his life. The whole story revolves around his character and how he cannot forget things and it somewhere adds pressure to his emotional being. It looked promising because it tackled a health hazard known as Dementia. I was more than excited to see the mystery unfold but my excitement soon fizzled out. Fazalβs performance is outstanding but itβs the script that doesnβt do justice. If they had left an open ending, it would have been far better. Well, director Srijit Mukherji explained everything making the climax look very patchy. It robbed the show of its essence and the cluttered approach made it a painful tribute to the great Satyajitβs vision. I did like a few shots of cinematography but again because of the script restrictions, the cinematography also landed up looking chaotic after a certain point in time. Ali deserved much better because he is only the saving grace.
2. Behrupiya View this post on Instagram
I am a very big fan of Kay Kay Menon but I landed up feeling sad for the man I truly admire. He is an actor who can lift spirits with his acting and expressions but here, he didnβt have much to play with. Even in the limited scope, Menon gave me the similar vibes I had after watching Joaquin Phoenixβs Joker. Menonβs character is a common man whoβs overlooked by everyone around him and you do sympathize with him but what more than that. I did like the message the director was trying to convey but some of the scenes looked like that they werenβt needed but were just added to keep up with the length of the episode. Despite having an actor like Kay Kay Menon, the episode failed to produce a cathartic effect. I did sympathize but I couldnβt empathize with his situation. I wonβt put any spoilers here because itβs for the viewers to judge the story with their own vision.
3. Hungama Hai Kyon Barpa View this post on Instagram
Manoj Bajpayee and Gajraj Raoβs episode was one of the best in the show and did provide a sense of relief to me as a viewer. Director Abhishek Chaubey did come to the rescue but somewhere couldnβt save the entire series from being a disappointment. Manoj and Gajraj are on a train journey and they are connected through an ailment that I wonβt reveal. Abhishek heavily relies on these two powerhouses of talent and carried the director's vision pretty well. Chaubey was given full liberty to use his own methods and he did use his style fearlessly. Niren Bhattβs screenplay also added humour to the episode. I also loved how the cinematographer captured the episode without going overboard.
4. Spotlight View this post on Instagram
The last film in the series, Vasan Bala's Spotlight is quite different from the rest and does stick to Rayβs vision. Vasan has done a great job here by adding references from Robert De Niro's The Raging Bull. But, I still somewhere feel that it could have been much better. Harshvarrdhan Kapoor did give his best but was outshined by Chandan Roy Sanyal. The showβs treatment was done in a way that you will be fascinated at the start but it will soon fade away. The whole climax fell short of expectations as it didnβt look promising.
Before I say goodbye to all the readers, I will add a point here. All the women in the show were given their space, which I genuinely appreciate about the show.
Overall, I felt that the actors did their job outstandingly but the show lacked in giving a perfect tribute to Satyajit Ray.
