Kangana Ranaut and controversies walk hand in hand as she is often seen participating in nasty fights and getting into feuds with celebrities, politicians etc, to prove a point.
Soon after Sushant Singh's demise last year, Kangana's tiffs with Bollywood insiders started erupting as she often took to Twitter to raise her voice against the 'mafia gang' of the industry.
After this point, there was no going back for her. She then started criticising almost everybody, to such an extent that her Twitter account was banned in May.

But since Kangana would leave no stone unturned, she returned on Instagram later to express her thoughts on several matters.
Very recently, though, the actress admitted that she was missing her days on Twitter.
Kangana's account was deleted on the grounds of provocative tweets during the Bengal elections.
Stating that Instagram is not a place for such conversations and exchanges, Kangana said, "This place has no scope for any conversations and exchange of ideas. I am not interested in your clothes and skin I want to see deeper I want to see your mind and intellect."

She further added, "Yes it is useful for influencers and homegrown businesses and I am happy for them but anti-national librus are my jam.... I am born to demolish them I miss them here I am sure they are also missing me because they love bdsm secretly they had started to love all the whipping and sweet torture I gave them .... Come to Koo my loves I miss you all."

Koo is also another Indian microblogging site, where Kangana signed up after being banned on Twitter and wrote in her bio, Desh Bakht and Hot Blooded Kshatriya.

After her first Koo went live, the brand's co-founder shared the post and wrote, "This was @kanganarofficial’s first Koo. She‘s right in saying Koo is like her home while everything else is rented.”
Her first post read, "Hello everyone .... working nights this is a lunch break for #Dhaakad crew. why not Koo now. This is a new place will take time to get fimiliar magar bhade ka ghar bhade ka hota hai, apna ghar kaisa bhi ho apna hota hai"

After her Twitter ban, Kangana was clearly enraged and said that there are many platforms to raise her voice in her own form.

She further said, "My heart goes out to the people of this nation who have been tortured, enslaved and censored for thousands of years and still there is no end to the suffering."

On the work front, Kangana has a pretty good line of movies in her kitty, including Thalaivi, Dhaakad, Tejas, and others.

Do you think Kangana should be allowed back on Twitter? Let us know in the comments below.

The rain played hide and seek throughout the opening day of the World Test Championship final between India and New Zealand, and in the end, the match officials declared the day abandoned, leaving millions of fans around the world disheartened.
Team India announcing its playing XI on the eve of the match oozed confidence and showed how confident they were going into the match and expected each player to do their respective jobs on the field.

    — BCCI (@BCCI) June 17, 2021
Despite being fully aware of the weather forecasts, Kohli and the team management picked two spinners -- Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja -- in the starting XI and went in with only three front-line pacers-- Jasprit Bumrah, Ishant Sharma and Mohammed Sharma.
The management would have thought that their spinners could be the game-changer on the Ageas Bowl track which starts turning on the fourth and the fifth day. But it happens only when the sky is clear and the sun is shining at its full force, baking the pitch.

While the weather is expected to improve over the next few days, chances of rain still loom large on all the remaining days and it could throw India’s whole game plan in the bin.

The only good thing that happened on the opening day was that the toss didn’t take place, hence, as per the ICC rules, the teams are allowed to make changes to their playing XI and fans expect that the team would want to make use of it.

If announcing the playing XI a day before the start was a battle won, drifting away from their initial plan now would be a sign of weakness and Kohli and Co definitely don’t want to give that impression, especially not when it’s the biggest Test match ever.

Hence, when asked about this during the virtual press conference at the end of the opening day’s play, India’s fielding coach R Sridhar answered in negative, saying the playing XI they have announced “takes conditions out of the equation” with each player capable of delivering on any kind of surface irrespective of the weather conditions.

    — BCCI (@BCCI) June 18, 2021
"I was expecting this to be the first question. The eleven that has been announced is eleven that takes conditions out of the equation. I think it's the eleven that can play and perform on any given surface and any given weather conditions. This eleven that has been put in the park. If need be, a decision will be taken," R Sridhar told journalists in a virtual press conference.
Having said that, Sridhar and team management know that this is not any game, it’s the World Test Championship final and they can’t leave anything to chance, only because of what people outside will think of them.

That’s why while asserting that the team is balanced for all conditions, Sridhar didn’t completely rule out the possibility of altering the playing XI and hinted that “if need be, a decision will be taken” by the management group.

After a long battle with Covid-19, four times Asian Games gold medalist, Milkha Singh succumbed to the virus at 91.
Known as the Flying Sikh, he was one of India's most successful athletes, who championed the first India Commonwealth Games Champion in 1958.
The next year, he was also honoured with the Padma Shri.

In 2013, Farhan Akhtar received a seal of approval from Milkha himself to play the role of the legendary athlete in the sports drama, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag.

The story traces back to Milkha's life, on how his family suffered the brutality of Partition in India and his journey to becoming an Indian Army soldier and representing India as an athlete.
Goes without saying that the movie was hit as people were blown away by Farhan's flawless and powerful portrayal of the icon.
We take a look at four instances when Farhan looked almost like the legendary sprinter in the biopic, proving his dedication to the role:

For actors, when they have to enact a character, they go through intense workouts and diet regimes to transform into the character's persona.

Farhan had to sculpt his body to look like a seasoned athlete.
From functional training to following a strict eating schedule, he was trained extensively by his coaches to morph into the Flying Sikh's personality and physicality as well.

Playing the Olympian's role proved a big challenge for Farhan, more than he had bargained for. He had to transform himself completely to fit into Milkha Singh's shoes for the movie.

He grew out his hair and beard and morphed into looking like a Sardar. Not just that, he was trained to even run exactly like the sprinter.
He said in an interview, "I am playing someone who is iconic. I can't afford to get it wrong. But the role's authenticity is what makes it exciting for me. If I can pick roles that can surprise me and the audience, I've achieved what I set out to as an actor."

Speaking of his style choices, Milkha Singh kept his ensembles pretty simple and casual.

He mostly wore basic T-shirts and checked shirts with his turban, which made his overall look stand out. Farhan was able to get the right tick even in the fashion department.

Young Milkha looked lean and fit, ergo Farhan had to attain the same visual for Bhaag Milkha Bhaag.

After doing a rigorous workout for several months, Farhan was finally able to achieve an athletic body similar to Milkha Singh's, during his championship days.
When Milkha saw the biopic, he was all praise for it, especially, for Farhan. “When 'Bhaag Mikha Bhaag' was released, no matter where I went -- Australia, England or Canada, people around the world used to say Farhan is Milkha Singh's ditto copy. I even went to see Farhan train during the film's making and saw him run 100 metres in 11 seconds! He was not a professional athlete, but he trained hard to become one,” he told the Economic Times.

Millions of Indian fans were left disappointed after the opening day of the World Test Championship Final didn’t go as per the plan and the play had to be abandoned without a ball bowled due to incessant rain.
Despite gloomy weather, Indian supporters were in high spirits throughout the day and didn’t lose hope and kept hoping to see some action from The Ageas Bowl Southampton.

As it turned out, the rain gods didn’t pay any heed to the prayers and finally, the match officials decided to call stumps after the pitch and the outfield had taken a lot of beating with rain persisting for the entirety of the day.

Furious fans took the opportunity to blame the ICC for their bad scheduling which deprived them of the action and urged BCCI secretary Jay Shah to use his contacts and change the venue of the match.

Amidst all this, former England skipper Michael Vaughan, who is known for often pulling Indian fans’ legs, joked that the English weather came as a blessing for the Indian team.
“I see India have been saved by the weather …. #WorldTestChampionship,” Vaughan tweeted.

How do you get people to fall for this every time Michael? https://t.co/D0cBj9tGWW
    — Gaurav Kapur (@gauravkapur) June 18, 2021 With his tweet, Vaughan definitely succeeded in what he wanted to achieve, leaving many Indian supporters gritting their teeth, but it only lasted for a while.
I see you have been saved by the weather..
Because if India would have perfomed good today,
Then Drops are coming from Cloud now..
But in that case, it would have been coming from your eyes.️️
    — ʜᴀʀꜱʜ𝟒𝟓™🇮🇳 (Masked) (@HarshRo45__) June 18, 2021It's a shame for ur team that final is played in ENGLAND and England team will be watching it on tv .icc would have atleast given them tickets so that they cheer for INDIA from stands
    — Bharat Chauhan (@BharatC21085526) June 18, 2021 Things changed after former Indian opener Wasim Jaffer reminded him how England weren’t good enough to even make it to their final.
The Joe Root-led finished fourth on the points table, behind the two finalists and arch-rivals Australia and it was a 1-3 defeat in India that put a final nail in their WTC campaign.
The online banter between Vaughan and Jaffer never ceases to amaze us and this time was no different as his epic reply brought the Englishman to his senses, at least this was what many fans thought.
Savage indeedonly you can bring Vaughan back to his senses sir

    — Abhishek Tripathi (@abhithecomic) June 18, 2021 If you follow both former cricketers’ Twitter handles, you would know how things are between them. Both don’t see each other eye to eye and are always looking for an opportunity to go one up on the other -- this time it was Jaffer’s chance.
Meme king Jaffer came up with another gem and fans thanked him for bringing Vaughan back to his senses.
Using a still from Amir Khan starrer Lagaan, Jaffer took a dig at the fact that despite the final being staged in England, the hosts were nowhere to be seen as they were simply not good enough to bet there.
“Meanwhile rest of the teams watching the #WTCFinals #iykyk,” Jaffer replied quote-tweeting Vaughan’s tweet.

As for the WTC final, despite the opening day getting completely washed out, the fans can still hope to see five full days of Test cricket, thanks to the reserve day provision implemented by the ICC to make up for the lost time during the game.
For that, the rain gods need to take a back seat but looking at the weather forecast in the coming days, that is unlikely to happen.
However, the good news is that the chances of rains are not as alarming as it was on Day 1, hence fans should be able to see some action in the coming days, starting from later today.
