With cricket in India coming to a brief standstill because of the surge in the COVID-19 cases in the country and the Indian Premier League being postponed until September, 2021, fans of the game have ample time to critically analyse anything and everything our cricketers have to say or do.
So when skipper Virat Kohli had a rare ‘Ask Me Anything’ session on Instagram a couple of days ago and revealed that he eats “some eggs” throughout the day, people with strong memory recollected how he had boasted about turning vegetarian a few years ago.

Since then, a vegetarian-egg diet has become a comparing agent to some of the most hilarious analogies social media trolls have been putting up.

I'm vegetarian but I eat egg is like I'm straight but sometimes I kiss my male friends

Now, they have found another way to justify Kohli’s vegetarian egg diet: Eggplants! Trolls have been talking about white eggplants while having some with the captain, especially after he tweeted about the discussion once again.
I never claimed to be vegan. Always maintained I'm vegetarian. Take a deep breath and eat your Veggies (if you want )️

“I never claimed to be vegan. Always maintained that I'm vegetarian. Take a deep breath and eat your Veggies (if you want),” he tweeted and here’s how the fans reacted:

Kohli had explained to Kevin Pietersen why he stopped eating meat and turned vegetarian in a conversation he had with the former England cricketer in 2020.
"Left eating meat just before the England Test series. In 2018, when we went to South Africa, I got a cervical spine issue while playing a test match. It compressed a nerve that was running straight till my little finger of my right hand. It gave me a tingling sensation and I could barely feel my little finger. I could not sleep at night and it was hurting like mad," Kohli said in the video.

"Then I got my tests done and my stomach was too acidic and my body was too acidic, creating too much uric acid. Even though I was taking calcium, magnesium, everything but one tablet was not sufficient for my body to function properly. So, my stomach started pulling calcium from my bones and my bones got weaker. That is why I stopped eating meat completely in the middle of England tour to cut down the uric acid and I have never felt better in my life, to be honest," he added.
He had also advocated Netflix’ The Game Changers documentary which highlighted the benefits of turning vegan and the drawbacks of consuming meat.
Saw game changers on Netflix. Being a vegetarian athlete has made me realise what I have believed all these years regarding diet was a myth. What an amazing documentary and yes I’ve never felt better in my life after I turned vegetarian.

It was during the shoot of the Bollywood film Hastey Hastey (2008) where Karan Mehra first met Nisha Rawal. It was love at first sight for Karan but it took a while for Nisha to go ahead and fall in love with him. Things were rosy for the two initially but they have hit rock bottom now as their marriage is falling apart. Their fight is getting murkier with each passing day and it has come with a cascade of allegations.
Nisha held a press conference on Tuesday evening to share her side of things amid reports of domestic violence. Here's everything she has revealed.
    1. Troubled MarriageNisha, in her press conference, opened up on the whole incident and said that it has been 14 years of their relationship but no one came to know about anything. She said that she confronted Karan with many things which then turned into an ugly showdown as he got upset and banged her head. He also didn’t realize the severity of it until she started bleeding. Nisha Rawal said, "It is extremely embarrassing to meet you all like this since we have always met on the red carpet events. I am here only because of Kavish (their son). We have been together for 14 years. Many things happened in these years but no one came to know about anything."

Karan has completely denied the allegations here, saying that she herself banged her head and framed him.
    2. Karan’s Extramarital AffairNisha also revealed that she got to know about his extramarital affair and unlike many others, she wanted to sit and talk to him. She said, "Karan has been having an affair with another girl, which I didn't know about. When I came to know about it, he accepted that he has another girl in his life. I asked if he has physical relation if it's a serious affair or an emotional one. He said 'I love that girl. I have been having physical affair with her'.” She also said that the girl is from Delhi and it all started when Karan started shooting in Chandigarh.
She added, “I told him to sit down and talk. Then the next day I went to my parents-in-law. I told them everything. They asked us to work on it. I told them if Karan says sorry and wants to work on the relationship, then I will try. But after all this, he didn't make any effort while I tried a lot.”
Karan denied these allegations too and called them completely baseless. “All these allegations are bound to come up and I will be linked with many people. These stories are baseless. I haven’t cheated on her and I am not having an extramarital affair," he said.
    3. Domestic AbuseShe also added that she wanted to keep his image intact as she is an actor and understands how important it is to be in the public's good books. She said, “Seeing Karan's behaviour over the years, in the last 14 years, this is not new. I tried to keep his image intact because we are actors and doing all this can affect our careers. We also have a child. Every time Karan used to apologize, I used to say okay. I actually wanted to believe him. But then I had to speak up as domestic abuse is not okay.”

    4. Bipolar DisorderKaran, in many interviews, has spoken about Nisha’s bipolar disorder. Karan had said, “Nisha has mood swings and a violent anger streak. She would throw stuff and hit herself and others. Five-six years ago, she was diagnosed as bipolar. People, including our friends and relatives, have seen her behaviour in public and I couldn’t take it anymore.” In the press conference, she accepted the fact that she has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder but that doesn’t mean she is a ‘psycho’.

"Bipolarity is a mood disorder which happens due to extreme trauma and it’s genetic sometimes. I was diagnosed with bipolarity and I am not going to lie about it as I am not ashamed about it. But I am not a psycho, it is a mood disorder. And you all know how balanced I am. I create content for the web, make videos, and write about things. I don’t have to prove anything," she said.
    5. Her Miscarriage And Karan’s Controlling NatureShe revealed that she had a miscarriage in 2014 and Karan wasn’t there to support her. She said, “In September 2014, I was 5 months pregnant and I lost my child. Recently, I made a Mom’s group where women who lost their children can speak up about it as when I lost my child I did not have anyone to talk to about the loss. I wanted to go to my parents and talk to them because it was a very big trauma for me. In the middle of it my husband was beating me up, abusing me, he was unavailable, totally detached and that’s when I went to a therapist. In fact, Karan had stopped me from going to a therapist, he didn’t let me go to a gym, he was very controlling in everything.”

Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor recently revealed that he once got into a fight during his school days because of his cousin Sonam Kapoor.

He recalled that they were in the same school and both loved basketball, and that the incident took place when Sonam was playing.
Asserting that he has always been the non-violent one, Arjun stated that this time he got rather angry and abused the boy who behaved badly with Sonam.
    View this post on Instagram
Arjun and Sonam are first cousins as Arjun is the son of producer Boney Kapoor and Sonam is the daughter of Boney’s brother, actor Anil Kapoor.

Arjun Kapoor said in an interview, “Sonam and I were in the same school. I was chubby then. I used to love playing basketball and so did Sonam. One day, it was a typical, cliche scene where seniors came and grabbed the ball from Sonam and announced it was their time to play. Sonam came crying to me. She said, 'He behaved badly with me, this boy.' I asked, 'Who's this boy?' I am not a violent person at all. Neither in my childhood nor now. But I do get angry. I got angry and I went. That boy came and I abused him. He looked at me, kept staring at my verbal diarrhea of abuses, he just looked at me."

He also said, “He took his hand and punched me. I went back home with a black eye. Sonam was saying sorry to me and I remember, he was a part of some national-level boxing. He was a boxer. Maine galat ladke se panga le liya tha Sonam ke chakkar mein (I messed with the wrong guy for Sonam). I got the punch and had to go to the doctor. I got suspended because I was abused. I was the instigator of the problem. After that I told Sonam, 'you take care of yourself in school because I have been defamed very badly. I can't do this'.”

Arjun Kapoor was last seen in Sardar Ka Grandson and Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar which were released on OTT.

Yuzvendra Chahal has always been and continues to remain one of the most social media-active players of the Indian cricket team. Not only does he share content on a regular basis, he makes sure that he remains updated with the latest trends, to relate better with his online audience.
On Tuesday, the spinner shared a picture with the gang with a simple caption “F.R.I.E.N.D.S.” while obviously referring to the Friends: The Reunion episode being broadcast across multiple channels and applications.
    F.R.I.E.N.D.S ️ pic.twitter.com/ezRFNIuSs5
    — Yuzvendra Chahal (@yuzi_chahal) June 1, 2021
The picture consists of arguably the most beloved set of Indian athletes in one frame, with a few cricketers like Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah missing out. Based on the Oppo jerseys, it is also evident that the picture is certainly a couple of years old.
And despite instances such as Rohit Sharma in a white hoodie, and Shikhar Dhawan being choked by Chahal’s massive biceps, the only thing most fans could talk about was the smiling face of MS Dhoni, who was simply standing behind the entire group, not wanting any sort of spotlight on him.
In this pic my eyes were searching for one person only 🥺️

    — ʜᴀʀꜱʜᴜ™ (@HarshWord_s) June 1, 2021The kind of fandom ‘Captain Cool’ enjoys has been noticed and marveled upon by many of his international competitors over the years - how people react to his presence, how getting a picture clicked with him leads to a rise in excitement in the entire room.
England’s batsman and former Chennai Super Kings player Sam Billings recently shared his thoughts on the Ranchi-born superstar’s popularity in India.
    View this post on Instagram
“I had the huge honour of playing with MS Dhoni as my captain at Chennai and seeing his life and seeing how he has to live day by day in terms of being cooped up in a hotel and you literally cannot leave unless it’s to go to training or a match, it’s amazing. It’s just mind-boggling how people absolutely worship him,” said Billing in the Headstrong podcast.
“For me, I think everything that goes with it, is playing cricket in India. It’s something that people can’t just get their head around if you haven’t experienced it either as a fan or a player… An English person in London might say he doesn’t really follow cricket or doesn’t really like cricket, or that nobody kind of likes it, but 1.3 billion Indians absolutely adore and worship cricket,” said Billings.

He welcomed his son Laksshay through surrogacy on June 1, 2016, who turned 5-years-old yesterday.

In the interview, he was asked about his plans of getting married and Kapoor revealed that he has no plans to marry now or in the future.

He said, "Never, because I wouldn't have gone through the process of becoming a single parent if I had any doubts about it. I did it at a time and age when I was ready for it and willing to take on the responsibility. I feel like I'm taking the right step.”

“And as of today, I feel like my day is fulfilled because I have so many things to do with my son. There's no other option I could have opted for, and I wouldn't have had it any other way. I will not share myself with anybody in the world right now or in the future. So all's well that ends well," he added.

When he decided to have a child five years ago, he said that he couldn’t wait to get married at the time.

He told a news portal in an interview, “I was getting a little nervous because my energy is high right now and I can have a child. After 15-20 years, when I turn 50, I won’t be able to play with my child the way I can now.
He said that he had to make a decision quickly and marriage could wait. “So, I have to think about this fast. I was quite excited but then, the nervousness kicked in. It took me a month or two to actually start the process,” he said.

He said that he opted for surrogacy instead of adoption because he wanted to have his own child and he felt that he could take the step without tying the knot. We agree.

He is setting an example for all the men who want a child, but not marriage to go for single parenthood without inhibitions. As we can see, he is an amazing father.

Most of us look up to Milind Soman for his impeccable workout skills and sartorial sense.
If you think about it, it's rather impossible to fathom the fact that the 55-year-old actor was once into bad habits, given how fit he is now.
Recently, on the occasion of World No Tobacco Day, celebrated on 31st May, Milind took to social media and spoke about smoking in his 30s.
It is unbelievable but turns out, Milind had picked up the habit due to peer pressure in his life but later managed to get rid of it.

In a boomerang video, Milind can be seen breaking the cigarette into two.

He captioned the image saying "Every 31st of May, World No Tobacco Day, is a celebration for me, and also a reminder of the stupidest thing I ever did - smoke!!”
    View this post on Instagram
This came as a surprise to many. He further penned down more saying that he started smoking on the sets of Caption Vyom and he was 32-years-old at the time.
He got hooked to the habit just because of hanging out with smokers and saw himself smoking 20-30 cigarettes daily.
He further mentioned, "There was no reason to start, just hanging out with people who smoked, trying it out and getting hooked. I got addicted really quickly and was soon smoking 20-30 cigarettes a day. Was tough to stop and took me a long, long time, but I was fortunate that I could."
Milind also spoke about how this is an epidemic and has killed more than 8 million people a year around the world just because of this habit, as said by World Health Organisation.

Keeping this element aside, Milind is otherwise often seen treating his fans with some mind-boggling throwback photos.

Just a while ago, he shared a picture wearing spandex shorts and the image took the internet by storm. This was from his modelling days in 1991.

He is also seen posting workout videos, given his obsession with the fitness world. Right from his running videos to working out his wife Ankita Konwar, Milind manages to steal our attention.
