    Popular TV Show Pavitra Rishta went on for six years and the show garnered immense popularity due to the chemistry between Ankita Lokhande and late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. 
    The show has now clocked 12 years and to celebrate its success, Ankita took to Instagram and shared a post that was quite emotional.

    She shared an assembly of photos of her journey with Sushant on the show and wrote "12Years!! Ohh, Yes Yes It's 12 Years Of Pavitra Rishta, Time Flies Really Quickly.     She also thanked Balaji Telefilms and Ekta Kapoor for letting her play the role 'Archana' in the post. Ankita and Sushant Singh's role as Archana and Manav became a household name and their chemistry instantly struck a chord with the audience.

    Ankita then hosted a live session with her fans and remembered Sushant Singh as she said "Sushant aaj hamare beech nahi hai, uske bina Pavitra Rishta adhoora hai. Archana ka Manav sirf Sushant tha"
    She also mentioned that Sushant was a brilliant star and acknowledged him for teaching her acting. 
    She said "Sushant taught me to act, I knew nothing. I was a junior and he was very senior. He was a brilliant actor, brilliant co-star and I am very fortunate to work with him."

    To celebrate this beautiful occasion, Ankita hosted the session with a cake and dedicated it to the followers of the show and Sushant Singh Rajput. 

    The show aired for the first time in 2009 on Zee TV and was one of the longest-running shows. While Ankita continued to essay the role of Archana till the end, Sushant quit in 2011 and then Hiten Tejwani took his place as Manav.

    It will soon be a year of Sushant's passing away. After the tragic demise, the OTT platform ZEE5 and ZEE TV channel decided to rerun Pavitra Rishta again in memory of the late actor.

    Almost 12 years after its release, Aamir Khan starrer 3 Idiots continues to be one of the best movies in Bollywood of all time because of its relevance to every generation. 
    With a cast of brilliant actors like Aamir Khan (Rancho), R Madhavan (Farhan), Sharman Joshi (Raju), Kareena Kapoor (Pia), Boman Irani (Professor Viru), and Omi Vaidya (Chatur), 3 Idiots took us through the journey of three students at an Indian engineering college. It’s interesting to see how everyone finally breaks the shell and chooses to follow their own choice of careers. 
    In an interview, Sharman Joshi recently revealed that they all got drunk for real, for a scene for the film. And it was Aamir’s idea. Speaking to The Times of India, Sharman Joshi remembered the scene in which Raju (Sharman), Rancho (Aamir), and Farhan (Madhavan) abuse Virus sitting on the stairs. 
    Here’s the scene in question: 


    Sharman said, “I especially remember the one scene where Aamir, Maddy, and I were drunk and cursing Boman Irani’s character in the film. Aamir suggested that we drink and perform. Aamir and I were on time to start drinking but Maddy had some work and reached a little late. Aamir told him to catch up with us. Madhavan is not much of a drinker but in order to catch up with us, he had a few drinks too fast." 
    He added, "By the time we were ready for the scene, we were a little too high, but Maddy was even more so. He performed the scene brilliantly! Not often do you get to see Madhavan like that because he rarely gets drunk (laughs). That scene is a really memorable one for us. After the release of the film, Rajkumar Hirani sir, Maddy, and I went on a trip to Aruba and it was absolutely fantastic. Maddy is a very lovable guy; he is very pleasant with everyone. On that trip, we shared a lot of things."

    India has been severely hit by the third wave of the pandemic and people are struggling with the shortage of vaccination. While people struggle for the slots for their doses, a very disturbing event has come to light.
    ANM (auxiliary nurse midwife) Niha Khan from Aligarh (Uttar Pradesh) has been accused of throwing 29 vaccine-loaded syringes in the dustbin. According to reports, she used to insert the needle inside the recipient's body but did not inject the Covid-19 vaccine.
    The FIR has been registered against Niha Khan under Section 203, 176, 465, 427, 120 B 3/4 of IPC at the Civil Lines police station of Aligarh. Niha Khan has been booked based on a complaint from the chief medical officer, Dr. Bhanu Pratap Kalyani.
    Chief Medical Officer Kalyani said: “There is a possibility that some people might not have actually received the vaccine. I have set up an inquiry committee by two ACMO-level officers and have asked them to submit a report as soon as possible.”

    Dr Afreen, in charge of the Centre where Niha worked, has been accused of covering up the act, and her name also been added to the FIR. According to Sudarshan News, many have referred to the incident as ‘Vaccination Jihad.’ The news channel also reported that Niha was also doing it intentionally and she wanted to show the BJP government led by Yogi Adityanath in a bad light.

    Politicians making promises to the public and going AWOL once they win the elections is not unheard of.  
    Most often than not, people who vote for them and give them the power by making them their leader are left to deal with their problems on their own, once the elections are over.

    Another such case has come to light but this time, the people have made sure this does not go unnoticed. 

    The absence of Congress MLA Navjot Singh Sidhu has irked some people in Amritsar who have declared him missing across the city.

    Sidhu had won elections in 2017 in Amritsar East. 

    According to Anil Vashisht, who runs a local NGO called the Baba Deep Singh Lok Sewa Society, the Congress leader has failed to deliver. 
    He admitted to having put up the missing posters of Sidhu and even announced a reward for Rs 50,000 to anyone who can find him.

    Talking about the reason why he put missing posters, Vashisht said, “Sidhu’s constituency is littered with garbage. People have been living in hell here. Ever since the Covid restrictions were imposed, people of his constituency haven’t seen him.”

    “Amritsar residents made him an MP and then MLA, but he has done nothing for the holy city. When he was elected as MP from Amritsar, youngsters had expectations from him. Residents have been complaining that Sidhu never bothered to listen to them and redress their grievances,” he added.

    Well, this isn’t the first time people in Punjab have made sure their leaders answer to them when they don't keep their promises. 

    A few years ago, missing posters of the MP of Gurdaspur Constituency, Sunny Doel sprung up in Pathankot. Locals said he was nowhere to be seen months after being elected and that “they expected better from him.’

    They stuck posters that read “Gumshuda ki talaash MP Sunny Doel” across railway stations and parks back in 2020. 

    Sunny Doel finally appeared on the occasion of Lohri and addressed the public, affirming to them that he “is working on the traffic congestion issue in the city” and “is here for the people” in a video.

    Google marked the starting of Pride Month with the doodle of one of the most influential and important champions of LGBTQ+ rights, Frank Kameny.

    Kameny’s body of work and his activism from the mid-1950s laid the foundations for people across the world to establish equal rights for the LGBTQ community.

    One of the most prominent gay rights activists, Kameny is credited with a lot of firsts - the first person to file a civil rights claim to the US Supreme court, the first openly gay candidate to run for the US Congress, and a whole lot more.

    Here are 7 things that will help people better understand, why he remains to be an important figure to this day, and why the Pride movement and all other LGBTQ rights Movements owe a lot to him:

    1. One Of The Sharpest Minds Of His Time © Wiki Commons
    Kameny was one of the sharpest minds of his time. Not only did he have a bachelors degree in physics, but he also had a masters and a doctorate in astronomy. 

    He was also one of the most skilled modern-day map-makers that the US Army had hired. 
    During his days as an activist, it is reported that he had one of the sharpest legal minds in the country, despite the fact that he never went to law school.
    2. Fired From The US Army For His Sexual Orientation © Wiki Commons
    His life is often cited as an example of just how hypocritical the US Federal Govt has been about LGBTQ people & Army services. 

    He was drafted into the military in the 1940s for World War II, when he was still a student. After the war, he returned and completed his masters and doctorate in astronomy. 
    In 1957, he was hired by the US Army, again, this time in the Map Services Department to teach young cartographers, the science behind map-making. 
    Upon learning that he was gay, he was fired. He was also banned to ever have a federal civil service job, ever again.
    3. Filed The First Known Civil Rights Claim Based On One’s Sexuality © Wiki Commons
    Owing to the fact that he was banned from being hired on a federal level, and the fact that most astronomy and cartography schools across American universities were funded by the federal government, he filed appeals against his firing through the American judicial system, until he finally reached the US Supreme Court. 

    He was the first person who filed a civil rights suit to the Supreme Court where the plaintiff was denied basic civil rights because of their sexual preferences. 
    Of course, he lost, but this just marked the first step in a long and coloured life as an LGBTQ Activist.
    4. Vital In Getting Homosexuality Removed As A Mental Disorder © Wiki Commons
    People might not know this, but for the longest time, homosexuality was seen as a mental disorder. And in order to treat this disorder, psychiatrists would often come up with some of the cruellest treatments, including forced hormonal therapies, giving an electric shock to the genitals etc. 

    In 1972, Kameny convinced the American Psychiatric Association or the APA to debate on psychiatry and the way homosexuals were seen by psychiatrists. 
    Dr John E. Fryer, a gay psychiatrist, put on a disguise and gave a heartfelt speech at the debate, upon Kameny’s request. This led to a series of serious discussion, and eventually, a year later, homosexuality was removed from the list of mental disorders.
    5. First Openly Gay Candidate To Run For The United States Congress © Wiki Commons
    After years of activism, Kameny realised that he had to get into politics to bring about real change. He decided to run for office and contested the election for a seat to the US Congress, as a member of the lower house. 

    He lost the election, but the fact that he contested an election made waves all over the country.
    He was eventually appointed as the first openly gay member of the District of Columbia's Human Rights Commission that same decade.
    6. Was Crucial In Uplifting A Federal Ban That Prohibited LGBTQI Civil Workers From Being Hired © Wiki Commons
    The LGBTQI people were banned from being employed under the Civil Services Commission. This meant that they could not be employed in any capacity by the federal government. 

    Kameny, with the help of a highly decorated Sergeant of the US Air Force, who had been discharged from his duties after he came out to his commanding officer, filed several suits and eventually managed to get the ban overturned.
    7. Was Elemental In Reversal Of The US Version Of Section 377 © Wiki Commons
    The US had their own version of Section 377, called the DC Sodomy Laws. Furthermore, each state had their own laws regarding what was considered back then “unnatural sexual encounters,” making homosexual activities illegal and a jailable offence. 

    In 1963 Frank Kameny proposed that these laws should be changed and tweaked to allow for a safe space for consenting adults. This was a battle that lasted for 30 years. 
    In 1993, Kameny drafted a portion of the bill, that would eventually replace the original DC Sodomy Laws.

    The trick is to get him as addicted to the game as you are. It might sound strange and impossible, but according to a Twitter user, her brother tried his luck.

    However, she mentioned in the caption that it was a devilish move to get him addicted to the game so he buys his son a new PS5.

    Indian TV actor Mohit Malhotra is one of those many people who lives on his own in Mumbai and the 27-year-old New Delhi actor says that things could have been very difficult for him had he not had the support of his house help, Bharti, who he considers a part of his family.

    The Naagin 5 actor, while talking to the Humans of Bombay, spoke about his close bond with Bharti. “For the past 12 years, I've been living alone in Mumbai. With my hectic work schedule and night shoots, managing everything on my own was challenging; my entire schedule was messed up, until Bharti, my house help, started working for me. Since 2013, she's literally taken over my kitchen and home! She'd call up my mom and ask for my favorite dishes... She learned to use Google to make new recipes–her Thai curry is out of this world,” he said.

    Mohit also spoke on how Bharti has become his mom's spy by even keeping a tab on his diet and the amount of junk food in it. “Within just a few months, she became like family. Whenever I was feeling low, she'd make amazing Rajma chawal. And when I came back home late and ordered junk, she'd find the untouched dishes in my refrigerator and be like– ‘Bhaiya, aap bahut unhealthy kha rahe ho' (Brother, you are eating a lot of unhealthy food). After a point, she became my mom's jasoos (spy)–if I didn't eat properly or was stressed out, she'd call my mom up...” said Mohit. 
    The actor said that over the course of the years, both of them have been making sure that they take care of each other, in any manner possible. With time, Bharti soon became like a sister to the actor - and he even funded her son's education. “She was like the older sister I never had. I'm even close to her son, Rohit–once, he told me that he wants to study well and get a Master's degree. I was aware of Bharti's financial condition, so I paid for his education. He's like my nephew," added Mohit. 
    “When the lockdown happened in 2020, I was stuck in Delhi. Since Bharti worked only for me, I knew she was out of a job. So, I continued sending her salary. And every other day, she'd text me to enquire about mine and mom's health; we both looked out for each other. 3 months later, the day I came back to Mumbai, Bharti was already there! She'd kept ghar ka khana (home-cooked food) ready…” said Mohit.

    In another episode of ‘this happens only in India,’ an FIR has been registered against a bride who indulged in celebratory firing during her marriage function in Uttar Pradesh’s Pratapgarh.

    According to the superintendent of Police Ashok Tomar, Rupa Pandey fired rounds into the air from a licensed revolver which belonged to her uncle before going on stage for ‘jai maala’.
    The video of the incident has now gone viral on social media and the police has lodged an FIR against the woman under the relevant section of IPC, the Arms Act, and the Epidemic act.

    Earlier, in another incident reported in Nagpur, police arrested a 19-year-old man for allegedly cutting cakes with a sword as part of his birthday celebrations.
    Nikhil Patel celebrated his birthday on October 21. In the week hours of the day, he and his friends brought four large cakes to celebrate, and then Patel took a sword and cut all the cake in front of his friends with a sword.

    Battlegrounds Mobile India does not have an official launch date yet but it seems like leaks are suggesting otherwise. The highly anticipated PUBG Mobile alternative by Krafton is expected to launch sometime in June after its predecessor was banned on the grounds of privacy and national security by the Indian government.

    Now, however, a new leak suggests that Battlegrounds Mobile India is expected to launch on June 18th. This date hasn’t been leaked for the first time and at this point it just seems like a reassurance to the launch date even though Krafton hasn’t announced a date officially yet. The latest leak comes from know PUBG tipster Sagar Thakur aka Maxtern.

    A tweet first reported by IGN India indicates a binary code that translates to 18062021. This could be a direct hint to an 18th June launch date, however we advise taking this information with a pinch of salt. Having said that, the same date was also tipped by a PUBG content creator named Abhijeet Andhare on Twitter. It is possible that the game will launch on June 18th if these rumours come to fruition. It is also worth pointing out that the rumoured launch date is also exactly a month after pre-registrations for the game went live on Google Play. 

    Krafton, the South Korean developer behind the new version of the Battlegrounds game has been regularly teasing the game and its features on its official social media handles. The latest teaser showed off a Level 3 backpack that is very similar to the one found in PUBG.

    Players on Android can still pre-register for the game on the Google Play Store and it's expected to launch on iOS platforms as well. Nevertheless, we can expect Krafton to launch the game sometime this month according to rumours. 

    The game is expected to have gameplay similar to PUBG Mobile and will even feature some of the popular maps from the original game. The game will also run on old budget Android devices as revealed by its Google Play listing. The game will require at least 2GB of RAM, Android 5.1.1 and up to 750MB of free storage.
