    Manoj Bajpayee reprises his role of Srikant Tiwari, while Samantha Akkineni essays the role of Rajji, a Sri Lankan Tamilian in The Family Man 2 which also mark Samantha's digital debut. Srikanth and Rajji are pitted against each other and going by trailer, we are sure that it will be a roller-coaster ride. In a recent interview, Manoj Bajpayee opened up about how a particular swear word even shocked him.
    In the trailer, Shrikant and his wife Suchitra (played by Priyamani) are seen at a couple's therapy session. In this particular scene, he is seen using a cuss word right after a popular Bollywood dialogue. Speaking to Bollywood Hungama about the scene, Manoj said that he hadn’t ever used this level of a swear word in his real life and he does not relate to this aspect of his character.
    He said, “Woh jo jeeta wahi sikander, uske baad joh gaali aati hai, woh zindagi mein kabhi use nahi kiya and woh gaali sach mein itni gandi lagti rahi ki pata nahi kaise muh se mere woh organically nikla, because Shrikant Tiwari ke character mein aap hotein hai pure samay – organically nikli then (The swear words I say after 'jo jeeta wahi sikander', I have never used them in my life. It is such an ugly swear word I don't know how it came so organically to me. Because I was in Shrikant Tiwari's character the whole time, it just came organically). I suddenly held my head, and I said ‘ki sh*t yaar yeh loge yahi rakhenge, yahi rakho iske alawa kuch nahi rakhna hai (These people will use it. Just this and nothing else).”

    He went on to add, “I spoke to Raj and DK, they said ‘no no it is looking good, it's superb’, then started jumping ‘no no don't change this abuse, this is fantastic this goes with Shrikant more'. I have never you know used that abuse at all in my life and I will not repeat it because social media is a very evil platform, you know it can come back to bite me all over again.”
    This candid confession by the actor proves why he's such a fine gentleman.
    The Family Man Season 2 has been in the news as it landed in trouble as it ended up upsetting a certain section of people who felt that the show is trying to portray Tamilians in a negative light.
    The makers have released a statement and have urged the audiences to watch the show first before making such judgments. In their statement, the directors of The Family Man 2, Raj and DK, said, "Some assumptions and impressions have been made based on just a couple of shots in the trailer. Many of our lead cast members and key members of the creative & writing team are Tamilians. We are very cognizant of the sentiments of the Tamil people and Tamil culture and have nothing but the utmost love and respect towards our Tamil people. We have put in years of hard work into this show, and we have taken great pains to bring to our audiences a sensitive, balanced and riveting story - much like we did in Season 1 of the show. We request everyone to wait and watch the show when it releases. We know you'll appreciate it once you watch it."

    Well, what a huge week for fans of the horror/supernatural movie genre worldwide. After three big years since the release of John Krasinski's hit horror/sci-fi film, A Quiet Place, fans living in the United States were finally treated with the release of the much-awaited sequel, A Quiet Place Part II.

    And, while the first film which starred Krasinski, his wife Emily Blunt alongside Millicent Simmonds and Noah Jupe, mustered in excellent reviews from both critics as well as fans, the new film is said to have had a similar reception.


    The sequel carries forward the story of the Abbotts, a family trying to survive in a world where they cannot make any sound beyond whispers due to the fear of being killed by blind otherworldly monsters who are very sensitive to sound.

    Spoiler Alert! While Krasinski died at the end of the first movie, according to recent reviews the movie still possesses a serious punch to it, owing to the plot, the visual elements, as well as the addition of some new cast members, especially Irish actor Cillian Murphy.

    As per reports, A Quiet Place Part II has received extremely positive reviews, with Rotten Tomatoes giving an impressive rating of 91 percent.


    The horror flick has also managed to really bring cinema back to theatres with a bang by clocking a first-day collection of $19.4 million at the box office in North America.
    Following the release of the movie, critics' reviews also reigned in with many being impressed by what the horror story has in store for fans.
    “A nerve-wracking continuation of its predecessor, A Quiet Place Part II expands the terrifying world of the franchise without losing track of its heart.” according to a critical consensus.
    “It’s almost immediately immersive to be here again… even if it ultimately feels like three-quarters of a very good movie chopped off from a whole,” said Weekly’s Leah Greenblatt.
    Fans of the franchise also had plenty to say about the film as they took to Twitter to share their views.

    A Russian oil tycoon recently got his brand new Rolls-Royce Phantom seized by the Italian customs, because of how insanely crazy the interiors of the car were.

    Do you know what separates the rich from the ultra-rich? Their cars. More specifically, how they bling their cars out. And for some, the sky is the limit on how crazy they can go with customisations, and premium carmakers, such as Rolls-Royce, often oblige happily.

    However, there are a select few who aren’t simply happy with what is on offer, and really want to stand out. They turn to aftermarket shops to get their needs catered.

    The Russian Tycoon in question had a bespoke leather upholstery made entirely out of crocodile leather. Super exotic and premium cars often have some of the most blinged-out interiors, made with some of the most exquisite materials. However, this is the first that Phantom has been reported to have seats and panels covered in crocodile leather.

    Crocodile leather is actually banned in a number of countries, especially around Europe because of the endangered status that they have been bestowed with. Hunting crocodiles for their leather is also prohibited in many parts of the world, and it usually attracts some hefty fines and insane jail sentences.

    With that being said, using crocodile leather isn’t entirely illegal. Outlets that work with such exotic leathers need a special certification, and each batch of crocodile leather needs to have a clearance certificate from CITES or the Washington Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora. CITES is one of the organisations that determine whether or not a particular animal is endangered.

    Coming back to the Rolls-Royce that was seized, rumor has it that the reupholstered Phantom was being imported into Italy from Russia. Gone undetected, it would have been on its way to an exotic car dealership in Rome to be resold.

    According to several reports, the custom upholstery was priced at about 250,000 Euros, just 50,000 Euros shy of the price of the Phantom itself. The Rolls-Royce, along with the customised interiors would have been priced well over 550,000 Euros. Now that’s a really expensive car.
    Rolls-Royce Phantom usually go for about Rs 10 Crores in India, without such audacious custom work. Do the maths yourself, on how much would the car cost for an Indian buyer. Our conservative estimate puts it around Rs 19 crores.
    In all probability though, the custom upholstery will be going to waste. As per a statement from the Italian officials, the leatherwork might be destroyed if the regulatory paperwork fails in their further inspection, or if the regulatory paperwork is not in place. They are also searching for the outlet that made the interiors of the car.

    Ever since the outbreak of Covid-19 in China, things certainly haven't been the same for anyone in the world, and from what we are getting to learn now, they aren't going to get better in the future either.

    According to reports, China has now reported a new case of human bird flu infection with a 41-year-old man in the country's eastern Jiangsu province being the first human to be infected with the H10N3 strain of bird flu.

    China's National Health Commission (NHC), while announcing the news on Tuesday (June 01) said, "The man, a resident of the city of Zhenjiang, was hospitalized on April 28 after developing a fever and other symptoms."

    While it did not give any details of how the man contracted the virus, it did say that he was later diagnosed having the H10N3 avian influenza virus on May 28.

    "H10N3 is a low pathogenic, or relatively less severe, strain of the virus in poultry, and the risk of it spreading on a large scale was very low," NHC added.
    As per reports, the man is now stable and was on the course of being discharged from the hospital.
    However, despite the reports, many people, who are already bearing the brunt of the Coronavirus, took to Twitter to share their disbelief on hearing that a new virus had been conjured up in the country again.

    A little girl from Kashmir took it upon herself to make sure the plight of children does not go unnoticed.

    She made a video addressing Prime Minister Narendra Modi and brought the issue to the notice of the entire nation. 

    The six-year-old asks PM Modi, who she calls ‘Modi Saab’ in the video, why teachers give so much homework to little kids who are her age. 
    She goes on to explain how she has to attend back-to-back classes for hours as soon as she wakes up and then has to work on the schoolwork given by her teachers.

    Last week it was rumoured that the next Nintendo Switch Pro will be announced soon and it seems like it might be closer to launch than we think. A new listing on Amazon Mexico revealed a “New Nintendo Switch Pro” where the listing did not have a product image and the name was changed shortly after it was discovered. It was then removed altogether suggesting that the new page was made as a placeholder for an impending launch by Nintendo.

    Usually when a retailer like Amazon lists a page, it's often in preparation for the launch of a product and in this case, it seems to be the next Nintendo Switch model. The latest rumours from Bloomberg suggest that Nintendo will begin assembling the next Switch model from July 2021 and plans to launch it in September or October 2021— just in time for the holidays. The report said that Nintendo will formally announce the new console before E3 2021, which begins on June 12th. The reason why Nintendo is slated to announce the new console before E3 is because it will allow developers to show off new games running on the new hardware.

    The Nintendo “Switch Pro” or whatever the company plans to call it, is expected to come with upgraded hardware. It's been four years since the Nintendo Switch launched and it has started to show its age. It is said to use a 7-inch Samsung OLED display, a faster and more efficient NVIDIA SoC that will enable it to run games at 4K resolution when docked to a TV. The new model is also expected to be costlier than the current model and is expected to retail between $350 - $400 dollars.

    The Nintendo Switch has now sold 85 million units in its lifespan and it seems like Nintendo wants to compete with the Xbox Series X and the PlayStation 5 with a hardware refresh of their own. While the Nintendo Switch doesn’t officially sell in India, the console has managed to outsell the Xbox One in the country in less than half the time.

    Singer Mika Singh is about to release his new diss track ‘KRK Kutta’ on actor Kamaal R Khan as a befitting reply to him. This all happened after an ongoing spat between Mika and KRK on Twitter. Mika is calling it a lovely track and also added that KRK is a good critic and urged him to rate this song as well.

    Salman Khan has now filed a defamation complaint in a Mumbai Court against actor Kamaal R Khan. This happened after Kamal R Khan reviewed Salman Khan’s recently released film Radhe. A legal notice was sent to Kamaal R Khan by the superstar’s legal team.
    Mika backed Salman Khan on the matter.
    In an interview Mika said, "...As I am a singer, I thought I would give him an answer with a song. The song is titled KRK Kutta. Famous singer Toshi Shabri is composing it. There will be rap in the song which will be a fitting reply to KRK. I will be recording the song today itself...I want to entertain people and make KRK popular, which would make him happy.     Once again, tinsel town has found itself in a major controversy as a 28-year-old former model has filed a complaint of rape and molestation at the Bandra police station against nine Bollywood personalities.
    According to reports, among the nine accused are actor-producer Jackky Bhagnani, photographer Colston Julian, founder of talent management company Kwan Entertainment Anirban Blah, and Krishan Kumar of T-series.
    Other names in her list of accused are Sheel Gupta, Ajit Thakur, Nikhil Kamat, Vishnu Induri, and Krishna Kumar. Although according to the FIR, only Colston Julian has been accused of rape while others have been accused of molesting her.

    “Police have registered an FIR after so many days of submitting my complaint letter against the high-profile people, but none of them have been arrested yet,” the woman told Mid-Day.

    The woman also added, “In a bid to conduct panchnama, one woman police officer took me to the locations where these accused sexually abused me in Mumbai. It seems that Colston Julian has gone underground as his Bandra house was locked and his car was also not there when we visited. Bhagnani is somewhere in a foreign land and he is expected to reach Mumbai in September.”  
    Inspector Sagar Nikam told the leading tabloid that they have registered the FIR based on the complaint. He said, “We have registered the FIR based on her complaint. We are in the process of collecting the pieces of evidence that the survivor claims to possess against them. Our investigations are underway.”
    A report in the Times Of India said that as per the statement recorded, most of the incidents allegedly took place under Bandra jurisdiction between 2013 and 2019.
    Talking about the allegations, producer Ajit Thakur spoke to ETimes and said that the former model used to blackmail him. He said, "The allegations made against me are false, malicious, and motivated. It is nothing more than an attempt to smear my reputation. In fact, I have evidence that indicates that the complainant was attempting to blackmail me amongst several others and when her attempts failed, she resorted to registering an FIR with baseless allegations. I will take all the necessary legal action against her and I am certain that truth will prevail."

    The Covid-19 scenario has ended up paralyzing the entire nation, with states forced to put up lockdowns throughout the country in order to tackle the deadly virus and contain it successfully.

    However, all these problems weren't even close to stopping a man, who was on a mission to provide for his sick son.

    Anand, a 45-year-old construction worker from Ganiganakoppalu village near Mysuru, had learned that his 10-year-old son had been diagnosed with a chronic neurological problem for which he needed daily medication.
    The doctors had warned Anand that if his son missed even a single dose of medicine, the treatment plan could be set back by years.
    So far, Anand had been traveling to Bengaluru every two months to get the medicine, but with Covid restrictions disrupting his schedule, he was not left with enough medicine and had to get more in four days' time. 
    With even his friends refusing to lend him their two-wheelers out of the fear of the vehicle being seized by the police, Anand did not see many options in front of him.
