If you're a DC or Marvel fan, you can bet your a** that superheroes like Superman, Batman, Spider-Man and Iron Man will put their lives on the line to save the lives of the innocent and bring peace to the world.

However, while they would love nothing better than to kick the Supervillain's sinister butt back to their very layers, there is a thin line that they choose to never cross, regardless of how bad things get.

You see, the greatest superheroes on the planet live by a strict moral code, where-in they do not kill.

Despite possessing powers like superhuman strength, heat vision, and energy blasts, superheroes refuse to take the easy way out by decimating criminal masterminds like Joker, Lex Luther, and co, as they truly believe that the system, while being broken, is not irreparable.

However, there are still a few superhumans, who while wanting the same things as Earth's mightiest heroes, do not believe in giving into the moral code bulls***.
Popularly known as anti-heroes, these characters are known for their simple yet effective policy of hitting first and asking questions later.

Now, while they may not be out there to outrightly kill evil people, they will not shy away from it if one gives them the reason to.

Kill or No-Kill, one thing is certain. If they spot supervillains wandering about, making plans of mass destruction, they will beat them down to a pulp.
Well, without further ado, here is a list of the top 6 anti-heroes who will make sure that supervillains go back in a body bag.
    6. REDHOOD © CBR
An integral part of the Batman family, Red Hood AKA Jason Todd is known to be one character criminals are scared to come up against.

Todd was Batman's second Robin before he was killed by Joker, only to be later resurrected by the League of Assassins.
During the time, he garnered all the fighting experience and skills to become Gotham's protector in a fashion quite different to other members of the Bat-Family that included Batman, Nightwing, Robin, and Batgirl.
Redhood shattered the idea of having a moral compass and would not back away from being the ruthless vigilante that Gotham needed.
    5. CATWOMAN © Warner Bros.
Selina Kyle AKA Catwoman is one of DC's most famous female anti-heroes that does not care for the law. A master thief by trade, Kyle does spend an awful lot of time using her fists to beat up the corrupt in Gotham.

Known to be a person who stands up for the weak, Catwoman does not hold back anything in terms of crime-fighting on the dark streets of the city.
Despite not possessing superhuman powers, her athletic built, combat skills and cat-like reflexes help her in downing the biggest of criminals, making her a fearful anti-hero in the DC universe.
    4. GHOST RIDER © Deviantart
One of Marvel's dark and grim characters, Ghost Rider is an anti-hero who chooses to protect people and fights evil on his own terms, that is, with extreme prejudice.

While superheroes do instill fear among criminals and super-villains, imagine a superhuman who has his skull on flames, riding an even scarier-looking motorcycle while donning a leather jacket and chains, coming for you on an empty street in the middle of the night.
Yes, that's exactly what Johnny Blaze AKA Ghost Rider brings to the superhero universe.
Known to be the Devil's bounty hunter, the Ghost Rider is tasked with finding evil souls on earth and bringing them down to hell. That's a scary thought for people that are up to no good.
    3. VENOM © Sony Pictures
Eddie Brock AKA Venom may have started out as one of Spider-Man's most famous arch-enemies in the Marvel universe.

However, with time Venom started to drift off from the status of being a villain to that of an anti-hero, with comics and TV shows even showing incidences of him even teaming up with Spider-Man to fight greater evil.

Regardless of Venom turning a new leaf, he chooses to live by some of the old rules, which is having a no-nonsense attitude that even pushes him to eat people up who end up becoming a problem for him.

This along with Venom's status of being Marvel universe's lethal protector cements his position as one of the most fearful anti-heroes in the superhero universe.
    2. DEADPOOL © Marvel
We all know Deadpool, thanks to Ryan Reynolds' two movies, as a superhero character who would probably wear criminals and supervillains down with his puns, before killing them off with his Katanas.

Known as the "Merc with the Mouth", Deadpool is an anti-hero unlike any other in the DC as well as the Marvel universe.
However, underneath all that humor, there lies a man with a plan, a man who will cross all limits known to the world, to do the right thing.
Now, if that means cutting the villains into pieces or gorging someone's eyes out, he will do it and then have chimichangas right after it.
    1. PUNISHER © Comingsoon
Frank Castle took up the mantle of being The Punisher after the death of his wife and two children at the hands of the mob in New York.

While Castle belongs to the class of anti-heroes that does not possess superhuman powers, it does not mean that he cannot inflict damage.
Being a war veteran and a U.S. Marine Corps Scout/Sniper in Force Recon, Castle has all the tools one needs to wage war against criminals.
He possesses skills in hand-to-hand combat, guerrilla warfare, and marksmanship, and also has access to a plethora of weapons to use against different enemies.
Sporting the well-known skull motif on his chest, The Punisher is a criminal's worst nightmare and it is known that once he has you on target, it is almost impossible for him to be stopped, even by superheroes.
