    We are all trying to grapple with the reality of the pandemic out there. And in doing so, our number one priority is to stay home and stay safe.
    As celebrities and brands come together to remind you to do your bit (that is, stay home!), MX TakaTak took the creative route to remind viewers to #StayHomeStayTakaTak.
    This innovative hashtag challenge has led viewers to create some interesting digital content that’s kept everyone hooked. From fun tips and tricks to comic sketches and short films, there’s something for almost everyone.
    And if that’s not all, as a part of their ‘Stay Home, Stay TakaTak’ campaign, the brand is also covering a LIVE musical concert from 20th May to 24th May.   
    This entertaining LIVE musical features performances from some of the most popular names in the industry. Ankur Tewari, Kr$na, Divine, Arjun Kanungo and Ash King will be live on the MX TakaTak app this weekend at 8.30 pm each day.

    As MX TakaTak aims to unite its large community of users and content creators, it is also urging viewers to click on the button that will appear during these LIVE sessions and donate to a fundraiser for a COVID19 cause called Mission Oxygen- Helping Hospitals Save Lives.
    Talking about the music festival, Mumbai-based rapper Divine reminded viewers to do their bit and help raise funds. He said, “Stay Home, Stay TakaTak is a motto that we must live by to break the chain of this virus. Other than keeping fans engaged, this campaign is encouraging those who can donate towards fighting the virus and I am glad to be able to do my part by performing for my fans.”

    Bollywood’s renowned playback singer Ankur Tewari further added saying, “In these uncertain times, music is an outlet that allows you to express yourself and is healing. I am glad to be able to uplift the mood and entertain people from the safety of their homes.”
    Arjun Kanungo believes that small beginnings lead to big things and this is his small way of keeping the spirits high of all his fans and followers. While Kr$na plans to help de-stress with his new album ‘Still Here’, Ash King is just happy to perform for a crowd and do his bit for the society with this music festival on MX TakaTak.

    Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said on May 22 that the Covid-19 vaccination drive for the 18-44 years age group will be suspended due to lack of doses.

    Providing the details of the vaccination, AAP MLA Atishi on Friday revealed, "For the 18-44 group, we have received a total supply of 8,17,690 vaccines out of which 7,75,310 have been used. Now, only 42,380 vaccine doses are available out of which 3000 are COVAXIN and 39,000 are COVISHIELD. After today's vaccination gets over, the supply of COVISHIELD will also get over".

    She also said, "Today, our capacity for 18-44 vaccination has considerably reduced because we have very little supply. When we commenced the 18-44 vaccination, it was taking place at 368 sites in 99 schools. First, the supply of COVAXIN got over. Now, the supply of COVISHIELD is also almost over. Today, we are administering the vaccine to 18-44 groups only at 133 sites in 46 schools. This implies that we had to shut down 235 vaccination sites for 18-44 in the last one week."

    She took to Twitter and said, “As Delhi’s vaccine supply runs out, we will be temporarily halting vaccination for the 18-44 age group from Monday. I would like to appeal to the Central Govt to provide Delhi vaccine doses for this age group, as a lot of young people have lost their lives in the second wave.”

    Time after time, Kunal Kemmu has demonstrated his zany approach towards style. Quirky, flamboyant and OTT sneakers have always been Kunal's go-to.  
    There was this instance when he wore Spider-man inspired sneakers and then again when he wore a pair that looked straight out of Dragon Ball Z.

    But, given the pandemic situation, most of the celebrities' style statement got super relaxed. We saw them stepping out wearing comfortable chappals and slides. These have certainly become a way to dress down.

    Kunal too has joined the league which was clear by his recent appearance. Take a good look at his entire ensemble and tell us if the chappals that he is wearing didn't grab your attention too. 
    And, these aren't any random pair, he is seen wearing Alphabounce chappals that legit have a heavy rubber outsole.

    As for his outfit, we really like the red T-shirt by Levi's. It's a regular fit T-shirt with short sleeves and a crew neck. The best bit is that this T-shirt is worth Rs 519 right now. 
    We also like the way he has paired it with grey shorts. As for accessories, he wore a simple white baseball cap. We think this is an ideal way of dressing up, especially when you want to run errands amid the pandemic.

    The cat-and-mouse chase between Sushil Kumar and the Delhi police has become somewhat of a mockery after the law enforcement has so far failed to catch hold of the wrestler despite being on the lookout for him for over three weeks.
    Kumar, a two-time Olympic medallist, has been charged under Sections 302 (murder), 365 (abduction), and 120-B (criminal conspiracy) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) due to his reported involvement in the assault and consequent death of international wrestler Sagar Dhankar.

    Since the news of Dhankar’s death was made public, Kumar has been absconding and according to police reports, has been living in multiple hideouts in and around the National Capital Region.
    Initially, it was established that the 37-year old was hiding in Yoga Guru’s ashram in Haridwar. From then onwards, stories of the wrestler’s hideouts in Rishikesh, Bhantina, and Meerut have been making the headlines.

    On Friday, the police also said that Kumar has been extremely careful in using technology for communications. He has been switching sim cards before making calls and going on the internet to use applications such as WhatsApp for very small periods of time before turning his phone off again.

    “Moreover Kumar has links with many gangsters. They are helping him stay off the grid,” the officer added, according to The Print.

    Another reason why the police feel it has been so difficult to get a grab on Kumar has been his popularity amongst the fans in the region. 
    “Sushil Kumar as an international wrestler enjoys a huge fan base in Delhi-NCR, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh… Most pehelwans (wrestlers) in the region consider him a guru and are his chelas (disciples). They have been helping him switch locations with new hideouts,” says a Delhi police officer.
    “The pehelwan fraternity here is very dedicated to Sushil Kumar. They don’t want to let out any information on his whereabouts,” he adds.
    The Delhi Police has also announced a Rs. 1 Lakh reward for anyone who is willing to give information on Sushil Kumar’s active location. However, based on the media reports, no such discovery has been made and the absconder has been successful in evading the law so far.

    Earlier this week, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) revealed the annual salaries for the Indian women’s cricket team by dividing the entire roster into three categories: A, B, and C with contracts worth Rs. 50 Lakh, Rs. 30 Lakh, and Rs. 10 Lakh, respectively.
    Ever since the discussion of the pay gap on the basis of gender has once again become prominent while comparing the salaries of some of India’s top women cricketers such as Harmanpreet Kaur and Smriti Mandhana with their male counterparts who earn significantly more.

    The gender pay gap is an important issue that must be addressed by each and every organisation. However, when it comes to industries such as entertainment and sports, the debate becomes a lot more complicated.
    These are professions in which the revenue generated depends on the number of eyeballs gathered and therefore many also believe that such a pay gap is justified. The idea is that when the two sides begin to draw equal attention and revenue, the pay gap will approximately close out and end eventually.

    Back in 2015, one of the most prominent faces of Mixed Martial Arts, Ronda Rousey was promoting her fight in Australia when a reporter asked her about her thoughts on the “pay dispute going on with the women’s soccer team” Down Under and her opinion on the discrepancy in pay between men and women in sports.
    “I think that how much you get paid should have something to do with how much you bring in. I’m the highest-paid fighter not because Dana and Lorenzo wanted to do something nice for the ladies *smirks*. They do it because I bring in the highest numbers. Because I make them the most money. So I think the money that they make should be proportionate to the money they bring in,” Rousey responded to the question surrounded by loud cheers and applause.

    A couple of years later, it was the 20-time Grand Slam champion, Rafael Nadal who was asked a similar question and his bold answer led to the Spaniard facing a low of criticism back in 2018. However, his comments have gathered a lot more supporters since then.
    “It’s a comparison we shouldn’t even make (pay gap between male and female tennis stars). Female models earn more than male models and nobody says anything. Why? Because they have a larger following. In tennis too, who gathers a larger audience earns more,” he had said in the interview with Io Donna, an Italian magazine.

    Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora’s relationship is not a secret and the duo made their relationship public on Arjun’s 34th birthday in 2019 via an Instagram post.

    Now, in a recent interview, Arjun Kapoor opened up about his relationship and dating  'someone older with a son from an earlier marriage'.
    Arjun Kapoor said in an interview with Film Companion, "I don't try and be overly talkative about my personal life, because I feel you should respect your partner, and there is a past there... And I've been in that situation where I've seen things pan out publicly and it's not always very nice, because there are kids affected."

    He said, "I try and keep a respectful boundary. I do what she's comfortable with. And my career should not hinge on my relationship. So you have to create boundaries. I talk about it today because there is a certain respect and regard given to the relationship. We have given it time.     Talking about his marriage plans, Arjun revealed in a live session last year, that nothing is panned yet. However, he won’t hide it when it happens. He said, "Not planned and not thought about it right now, but like I always say, I will not hide it.”

    Say what you will about Bollywood movies and actors, they have been monumental in shaping up how we perceive and think about style. 
    However, given that in the last one and a half years, major releases have been sort of erratic at best, OTT shows and movies have become all the rage.

    We have had a number of series and movies across OTT platforms that have been simply amazing. And, the best thing of all, we got to know of some seriously great talents. 

    Luckily for us, these guys have set some seriously dapper grooming standards, and set goals for us, on how to style and grow our beards.

    Here are 7 actors from various OTT shows & movies, who have set some seriously cool beard styling goals for us, in these one and half years:

    1. Purab Kohli © Instagram/purab_kohli
    Purab Kohli was simply outstanding in both the seasons of Out Of Love. Clearly, he is a very capable performer. 

    His salt & pepper beard, especially in season 2, though, was on a different level. They are proper grooming goals for sure.

    Popularly known as Maqbool from Mirzapur, Shaji actually has a very dope-looking beard. 

    It has great volume, texture, and shine. Seriously, we would love to find out just how he grooms, and takes care of that glorious looking facial hair.

    Nishant Dahiya too has an awesome looking beard. We, in fact, like just how sharp and well-defined he keeps it. 

    He is a great example of just how awesome your beard looks when it is neatly and properly defined.

    And then, there is Roshan Mathew. The man doesn’t experiment that much with his beard style, because he knows what works for him, and his facial features and face shape. 

    Pick any of his movies, and you’ll see how his seemingly unkempt, and scraggly, thickset beard adds a boyish charm to his character.

    If you’re keen on growing a heavy stubble but don’t want to let it grow into a proper beard, take cues from Dhruv. 

    Note how he keeps the edges of his stubble neat and in shape, no matter what the length of his beard is.

    Although he tends to keep himself clean-shaven most of the time, Sajjad actually had a very dope-looking beard in Neeraj Pandey’s Special Ops. 

    He also has a great looking beard in Tiger Zinda Hai, where he played the character of Abu Usman. His beard in Special Ops was elegant, sophisticated looking, and a style that can be easily replicated at home.

    And of course, there is Pankaj Tripathi. He has one of the best salt & pepper beards out there. He has a short, boxed beard that looks phenomenal, and very regal. 

    If you’re a guy who has just started to get some grey hairs in his beard, trust us, this is the way you want to go. 
    The Bottom line…
    In the absence of new movies from Bollywood, these celebrities have stepped up greatly. Not only have they entertained us to our heart’s content, but they have also served us some amazingly good-looking beard styles. 
    Seriously, if anyone wishes to grow a beard this year, these are the guys one should emulate.
