    Mother nature had a message for the residents of Mumbai city today, "What's mine is yours".

    The onset of Cyclone Tauktae, considered to be the most powerful storm to batter the west coast in two decades, has been catastrophic as it has taken the lives of around 35 people, displaced many, while also uprooting hundreds of trees and damaging properties in the process.

    However, the storm also acted as a means of passing a moral to Mumbaikers, reminding them of the amount of trash thrown into the sea on a regular basis.

    With sea levels rising due to the cyclone, heaps of trash were passed back onto the shores and beaches of Mumbai, showcasing exactly how much garbage is actually thrown into the sea.
    Massive piles of garbage could be seen in several locations of the city that included major tourist places like the Gateway of India and Marine Drive.

    People on social media reacted to nature's reply while posting on micro-blogging site Twitter, with many calling it nature's "return gift" to the city.

    India has been severely hit by the second wave of the novel Coronavirus and it’s disturbing to see how people are struggling to secure basic medical facilities for their loved ones who've been affected by the virus. It’s sad that even state governments and the entire health care infrastructure are almost crippled. Farhan Akhtar who has always been vocal about his opinions on social media and often gets trolled because of them, has expressed his opinions about the government once again.
    Farhan took to Twitter to share that he is upset with the fact that people can’t criticize the government despite being in a democratic setup. He wrote, “First you couldn’t criticize the government. Then you couldn’t criticize any government policy. Then you couldn’t criticize their lack of any policy to tackle Covid. Now you can’t criticize cow dung. Next..??”

    India has been severely hit by the second wave of the deadly Coronavirus outbreak. From people looking for hospital beds to oxygen cylinders for the ones who have contracted the virus, the visuals are terrifying. This time no one was spared, be it the rich or the poor. Actor Atul Srivastava recently shared his harrowing experience of COVID-19 and how he lost two of his brothers to this deadly virus.
    Well, he was shooting in Lucknow and after returning from the sets to Mumbai, he developed Covid-19 symptoms and was admitted to the hospital. His three brothers also contracted the virus and sadly, two of his younger brothers couldn’t fight back and succumbed to it. “Last month was really the worst phase of my life. I myself was in the hospital and requesting people on social media to help find a bed for my brothers. My acquaintances did help me in getting them admitted but sadly we were unable to save two of them,” the actor told HT.

    He added that his brothers were also from the entertainment industry. He went on to say, “Mayank was a known choreographer and has worked in 130-odd films mostly Bhojpuri with all top names and some 25 Hindi films. Prafull on the other hand was a senior film editor and has worked in the films and TV industry. My elder brother Sanjay is recovering well and it's only now that we told him about our family’s loss. My sister too caught the infection but thankfully she is fine now. My brothers-in-law were our saviours.” 
    Atul said that he was lucky that he got treated at the right time and it was the doctors who saved him as his lungs were affected. He said, “I came back from Lucknow on April 13. I was negative then but then I developed symptoms. And I was tested positive and when my condition worsened, I was admitted to a hospital. My lungs were affected but now all is good. Luckily, God was kind and doctors in Mumbai were my rescuers.”

    He also agreed that he shouldn’t have continued to shoot when the cases were surging. He added, “I had this fear and was very cautious, but I overlooked it. After falling sick in Varanasi, I should have rested more but then my old-school habit of commitment made me return for the shoot. I did not realize that my immunity was low and thus I got infected. Shooting in this phase was my mistake…I should have been logical!” 
    For artists, it has been really difficult as the entertainment industry is one of the most severely hit industries by the pandemic. In fact, many actors have sought financial help during this time. 
    Atul also added that his family is yet to recover from the trauma after the tragic deaths of his brother. “There was a constant scare that my wife and son don’t get infected following me. The time is such that I can’t come to Lucknow when my family members are in such grief,” said the actor.

    Gautam Gulati didn’t just win the eighth season of the reality show Bigg Boss but also managed to win a lot of hearts too. He became a favourite of the audience in no time. 
    Anyone who followed that season would know how he emerged as a clear and deserving winner. His maturity, humour and smile made him the most popular contestant in the season.

    After winning the show, he continued to make appearances as a guest on the subsequent seasons, to the delight of his fans. However, we could never see him staying in the BB house as a contestant.

    Apparently, last year, he was, in fact, offered to be one of the ‘toofani seniors’ along with the other former contestants Sidharth Shukla and Hina Khan. However, he turned it down.  

    The reason he rejected the offer was that he was required to quarantine in the house for 14 days before and after going on the show, and he didn’t have that much time on his hands.

    Talking about the same, he said, “Last year they’d called me to stay in the house for two weeks. But because of the Covid situation, there had to be a quarantine for 14 days and then another period of quarantine after entering the show. I didn’t have that much of time since I was shooting and I didn’t want to miss the projects I was already working on.”

    After winning Bigg Boss 8, Gulati bagged several film offers and appeared in movies like Azhar, Behen Hogi Teri and recently, Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai. 

    In the Salman Khan starrer, he plays one of the antagonists named Girgit alongside Randeep Hooda.

    Gautam said that he never intends to go to the BB house again as a contestant. 

    He said, “I feel just happy and blessed that I was a part of it and people still remember the moments from the show. Never I would get into the house again... I can go agar koi theme ya task aate hai (if there is a particular task or theme), for 5-6 days or a week.”

    While this is sad news for his fans who have been waiting to see him in the BB house, we can be happy about the fact that he would still come to the show as a guest.

    While Twitter continues to be a battleground over COVID, a new diplomatic row broke out after Arvind Kejriwal posted a cautionary tweet about a new variant that has taken over Singapore, asking the center to cancel air services.

    Auctions can get pretty weird at times, for they tend to target a very niche audience. With that being said, some of the pieces that have been auctioned, genuinely baffle the mind, especially whenever there is a celebrity involved.

    Here are 6 super weird items that were sold at auctions, which will make you scratch your heads and ask, just how weird can fans get:

    1. Britney Spears’ Chewed Gum - $14,000 © AFP
    Yup, a piece of chewing gum that pop star Britney Spears once chewed and spat, was sold for $14,000 on eBay. 

    We’re just wondering who was it who picked it up and put it up on eBay. Moreover, who bought it, and why?
    2. Scarlett Johansson’s Used Tissues - $5,300 © NBC
    We get why Scarlett Johansson has such a huge fan following. What we don’t get, is why would someone buy tissues that were used by her. 

    Apparently, a couple of tissues on which she had blown her nose, sold for $5,300, again, on eBay.
    3. Violin Case Front The Titanic For $1.2 Million © National Geographic
    Okay, this might be weird for some, but not for people who are into naval history, especially sunken ships. 

    A violin case from the famous Titanic ship was once auctioned for more than a million dollars. Not much is known publicly about the case, as in who did it belong to, or where’s the violin. 
    The auctioneer was requested to not disclose the details by the private buyer.
    4. A Jar Containing The Air Brad Pitt Had Breathed Out - $340 © Reuters
    Seriously, don’t even ask us the logic behind this. 

    Someone apparently, “trapped” a breath of air that Brad Pitt exhaled, in a jar. And someone actually bought it in an eBay auction, for $340. 
    If you ask us, that’s $339 more than what it should be worth.
    5. Justin Timberlake’s Half-Eaten French Toast - $3154 © AFP
    During a morning radio interview at a popular radio station in LA, Justin Timberlake left a half-eaten french toast behind, after he was done with the interview. 

    The RJ put the toast up on eBay as a prank, but to his surprise, someone actually bid on the piece. Eventually, the toast was sold to a fan for $3154. 
    The proceeds from the sale went to a charity, but it is surprising, just what all people will actually buy from eBay.

    Yup, this happened. Why did it happen is as much a mystery to us, as it is to you. 

    Apparently, it went for an unbelievably crazy figure, but no one knows for sure. 
    What we do know, that it was first bought by an artist named Baron Joseph "Sepy" De Bicske Dobronyi, whose estate auctioned it off again, after his death.
    The Bottom Line…
    If you thought celebrities are crazy, then just imagine how crazy their fans can be. Seriously, I would like to meet the people who bought these, and again, what were they thinking?

    Say what you will about the X-Men franchise, you simply cannot deny, that it had its moments. 
    Wolverine in particular was such a character that we couldn’t help but chuckle at his cheeky dialogues.

    Thanks to Hugh Jackman, we all got to enjoy one of the most iconic characters in film history. 

    If you grew up watching X-Men, and have seen Logan, chances are, you must have teared up when he died. That’s how powerful Logan’s character arch was.

    Fun Fact: When he was preparing for the auditions for Bryan Singer's X-Men (2000), Jackman’s wife told him that this would be the end of his career if he did a “comic book movie.” 

    Luckily for us, he chose to ignore her advice!

    Given that the X-men Universe & the Marvel Universe (yes, these are two separate “universes”), are all but set to come together in the near future, ardent fans have been speculating who would take up the mantle from Jackman. 

    Well, it turns out, if Hugh Jackman had his way, it would be Tom Hardy.

    Unlike characters such as Magneto, Professor X, Nightcrawler and others, Wolverine has, so far, been played by just one actor since 2000. 

    So, whoever does actually, end up taking up Jackman’s spot, will be stepping in some quite big shoes.

    In a recent interview, with a notable Australian news portal, the actor stated that he has been asked a lot of times who should replace him. 

    He said “It has to be someone younger than me. I think Tom Hardy would’ve been great.”

    But isn’t Hardy already playing Venom? 

    Well if you remember, Chris Evans, before he picked up his shield and the Mjolnir, was the Human Torch. So, there is precedence for that happening. 
    Moreover, there is a possibility that the X-Men, or rather the mutant concept gets a complete revamp.

    According to several reports from earlier this year, the X-men would be integrated into the Marvel universe, in some way or the other. It is also said that Kevin Faige, the president of Marvel Studios, is personally overseeing this project.

    Anyway, given there’s no harm in a little bit of wishful thinking, we would say that Hugh indeed has great taste. 

    But seriously though, how cool would it be if Tom Hardy actually ends up playing the Wolverine?

    It's almost every day that we come across some people trolling celebrities and prying into their personal lives, passing unwarranted comments for absolutely no reason. 
    That being said, TV actor Gauhar Khan too was recently trolled for posting a video with her husband.

    Gauhar has time and again voiced her opinion and shut down trolls that have come her way. 

    In an Instagram live recently, she was asked why she had not posted 'RIP' on Hina Khan's father's passing away, to which Gauhar gave a befitting reply. 
    Coming to her recent post, Gauhar posted a trending reel on her feed. The video shows Gauhar and Zaid lying on a bed, wherein Zaid's feet are on hers.
    She captioned the reel saying "A Love Like This … hehehehe #Goofies #crazies #Gaza @zaid_darbar #reels #trending. ”
    As soon as she posted, while her fans and friends started showering love for the couple, one user made a distasteful remark and wrote "True Islam the women is a domination of man and always at his feet.”

    Obviously, since a comment like this would make anyone livid, Gauhar replied in a savage manner saying, "No loser, it is called comfort, friendship, love and companionship. In Islam the woman is described neither above nor below the man, it is next to him, so it is in his heart. May be close to. Learn and explore before talking some bullsh * t. “

    Gauhar is often seen posting trending videos along with adorable pictures with her husband, Zaid. The couple got married last year in December. 

    In one of her recent videos, Gauhar mentioned that she misses acting. With her favourite song, she asked the audience to give a short storyline of how it made them feel. That's definitely a filmy move!
