In what would be a fitting example of serving the people right up to the very end, Dr. KK Aggarwal, who passed away of Covid-19 on Monday night, can be seen talking about helping people out of the Covid-19 crisis in what was his last video.

However, while quoting late Indian actor Raj Kapoor's words, the people's doctor said that "the show must go on". "Even I am suffering from COVID, I am having COVID pneumonia which is progressive. But even then remember Raj Kapoor's words 'The show must go on - Picture Abhi Baaki Hai'," said the doctor, who was known for his positive attitude during the Covid-19 crisis.

Dr. Aggarwal, who was a very popular figure in the medical world as well as on social media for imparting Covid related information to thousands of people in need, also had other pieces of advice for fellow doctors.
While encouraging doctors to get people out of the Covid-19 crisis, he said, "We represent the collective consciousness of the society. Our job is to shift to jugadu OPD. Gather a hundred patients with similar symptoms and give them a joint consultation for 15 minutes. Time for one-to-one consultation has gone, we have to get people out of this crisis."
Unfortunately, these seem to be the parting words of the doctor who really led by example for people who had been left helpless in the pandemic at a time when the health care system of the country is close to a collapse.

Due to the rise in Covid cases in the country, now there is a growing demand for overseas vaccine tourism in India. Yes, you read that right!
Now, people are going to travel overseas just to get COVID jabs as there is a huge shortage of the same in our country. Currently, Moscow seems to be the destination of choice.
Now, a Delhi-based travel agency has started offering 24-day package tours, priced at Rs 1.3 lakh each, which will take vaccine hopefuls to Moscow for two shots of Sputnik-V with a spot of sightseeing thrown in to pass the 21-day interval between jabs.

An official from the travel agency said, “The first shot is administered the very next day after arrival in Moscow. Foreigners with a minimum seven-day stay in Russia can get vaccinated. They only need to register for vaccination, which we do for them.”
Recently, a Twitter user also shared a post regarding the same saying, “Yeh toh hona hi thaa.....”

Arjun Kapoor has a very particular sense of style. It’s very relaxed, sporty and casual. When he is not walking the red carpets in his dapper suits and tuxedos, you’d see him strolling in the most comfiest and coolest of outfits.
© Instagram/arjunkapoor
His fans and loyalists would know that his signature look often features an oversized hoodie or a sweatshirt, a pair of baggy shorts and a cap. And, he styles this uber cool outfit with either sneakers or sliders. There’s no in between.
© Instagram/arjunkapoor
Recently, Arjun Kapoor stepped out to meet his grandmother Nirmal Kapoor at her house to take her review on his latest film Sardar Ka Grandson which released on Netflix this week.
© Instagram/arjunkapoor
His outfit for the day out was his classic look--a sweatshirt, shorts and, you guessed it, a cap! This outfit was perfect for a rainy day in Mumbai. He also had clear glasses and a face mask on, abiding by the pandemic rules. However, we couldn't help but notice his velcro sliders that are definitely his go-to footwear.
© Instagram/filmfare
Arjun Kapoor has admitted to having a strong dislike for flip-flops and has sworn by sliders since forever now. Yes, he has been sporting the slip-ons before they were cool. He probably has hundreds of pairs in his closet including trendy lake chappals from brands such as Palm Angels, Bottega Venetta and more.
© Instagram/arjunkapoor
However, for this particular look, he went for his go-to black velcro sliders that we have seen him rocking a couple times before too.
They are super comfy and stylish and go with every outfit. Before this, he wore these same sliders with a casual shirt and denims and it worked well with that look too.

These sliders are pretty versatile and can be styled with casual or semi-formal outfits. In the given pandemic situation, these make total sense.
Now that we have officially shoved our work shoes and any sneakers back in the closet are trusting only comfortable footwear. From a quick meet-up with your grandma to a short walk to the grocery store, these chappals are worth the keep.

Arjun Kapoor definitely cannot get enough of them. What do you think?

2021 has been a very testing time for Indians due to the gigantic second wave of the Coronavirus pandemic leaving destruction in its path throughout the nation. However, if the pandemic was not enough, India's coastal states have been hit by Cyclone Tauktae, the most powerful storm to batter the west coast in two decades.

Now, at a time when the natural calamity has claimed the lives of at least 25 people, uprooted hundreds of trees, damaged houses, an Indian TV actress, Deepika Singh Goyal has landed herself in trouble for carrying out a tone-deaf photoshoot alongside an uprooted tree.
© Star Plus
The 31-year-old Diya Aur Baati Hum actress posed alongside uprooted trees in Mumbai, which has also been at the receiving end of the cyclone, with many places in the city reported to be flooded.
The actress posted photos of her shoot on her Instagram page, with her captions clearly not being in sync with the seriousness of the cyclone situation in the country.
“You can’t calm the storm, so stop trying. What you can do is calm yourself, embrace the nature and it’s gloomy moods because the storm will pass." stated her first post.
View this post on Instagram
The Instagram post also carried a post script explaining the situation, as she said, "This tree fell right outside my house nobody got hurt, but while putting it away from my door, Rohit (Deepika's husband) and I managed to take few pictures to remember the cyclone Tauktae."
It was followed by two more Instagram posts, the captions of which were definitely not better than the first in light of the crisis. “Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass, it’s learning to dance in the rain."

Unsurprisingly, her Instagram posts did not go down well with the people, who claimed that the actress was insensitive to the adverse cyclone situation in the country. Many took to social networking sites to post their reactions to the photoshoot.
Finding opportunities in calamities.
— SC (@shankar35) May 19, 2021Today we have a girlboss posing with (in?) a tree that fell because of the cyclone currently ravaging India’s west coast. pic.twitter.com/gmBVlkWZH3
— Iva (@ivadixit) May 18, 2021Oh my apologies for fake news, it was actually dancing in the “rain” with the fallen tree as background. pic.twitter.com/BoSNVZK1VD
— Iva (@ivadixit) May 18, 2021I'm sorry but stupidly posing with a fallen tree during cyclone is hazardous. I heard that people died. It's unsafe and unnecessary. U don't need motivation from people like these.

With the Indian Premier League’s resumption in complete uncertainty, the Indian cricket team, both the male and the female contingents, now look forward to a couple of bilateral series coming their way, all of which will be taking place on foreign soil.
The Women in Blue are expected to tour England next month in order to play their first red-ball match in over seven years, with a limited overs series to follow.
View this post on InstagramOn the other hand, the Men in Blue will be on their way to the United Kingdom in order to play in the World Test Championship clash against Kane Williamson’s New Zealand squad, followed by a Test series against Joe Root and Co.
At the moment, the two sides are in quarantine in Mumbai, before they finally fly off on June 2.
View this post on InstagramDuring the past couple of weeks, reports of the Board of Control for Cricket in India treating their male and female rosters differently have been making the news, especially with regard to the two sides’ travel arrangements.
According to media reports, the BCCI had arranged for a personal charter plane to enjoy the safety of their men’s team while travelling to the UK. However, no such arrangements were made for the women’s team and it was believed that they would be made to fly commercially.
On Tuesday however, T20I skipper Harmanpreet Kaur cleared the air on the ongoing speculations of sexism within the Indian cricket board and said that the BCCI had organised charter flights for the ladies as well.
The BCCI has organised Charter flights to ferry both men and women players to Mumbai before we leave for the UK. Considering the distance and individual convenience players have made their own choice.

“The BCCI has organised Charter flights to ferry both men and women players to Mumbai before we leave for the UK. Considering the distance and individual convenience players have made their own choice,” Kaur wrote on Twitter on Tuesday evening.
Shortly after, the captain of the ODI roster, Mithali Raj also issued a similar statement from her social media handle:
Traveling is a challenge in the pandemic but it is reassuring to see elaborate measures by BCCI for our health and safety. A charter ️ to Mumbai and UK and regular RT-PCR Tests at home. #LetsDoThis

Bollywood star Kangana Ranaut has gotten into the nastiest of controversies on Twitter in recent years with celebrities, politicians, and a string of other influential people over an array of issues.
The actress has not spared anyone and seems to have developed a taste for getting into feuds, following which she was recently blocked on Twitter as well.
But the ban seems to have had no effect on the 'Queen', as she has now found a haven on Instagram and continues to voice her strong opinions on Insta stories or posts.
© Instagram/Kangana Ranaut
Recently, Kangana had tested positive for Covid-19 and had quarantined herself. She had also declared that she will 'demolish' the virus and it's nothing but 'a small flu for her'.
On a good note, though she has now tested negative. But, with everything comes some drama for Kangana.
The actor took to Instagram and shared her negative report while branding people 'demons'. Here's why.
© Instagram/Kangana Ranaut
Sharing on her story, she wrote, "All the demons who are asking for my report because they see the world as a projection of their interior, here it is… A Ram bhakt never lies… Jai Shri Ram.”

In one of her stories, she could be seen expressing appreciation for Union Minister Smriti Irani. However, she tore into Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and called him a 'dumb fool' in her story.

Just yesterday, Kangana posted a whole video of her recovery. In the video, she mentions how people get offended when you underestimate the virus.
At the time when she had called the virus just 'a small flu', several people were enraged, and she took down the post as she was criticised for spreading wrong information.
Speaking of her work, Kangana has two interesting projects lined up for her, Thalaivi and Tejas.
Some of her other upcoming movies include Manikarnika Returns: The Legend Of Didda and Dhaakad.
