Before the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League was suspendedΒ and the worry of unable to fly back to their homes had plagued the overseas players, the most important and controversial issue in the league was that of the SunRisers Hyderabad and David Warner.
After winning just one of six matches under Warner’s captaincy, the team decided to not only take away Warner’s role as the skipper but even dropped him from the Playing XI, belittling him to a mere waterboy waiting at the boundary ropes.

    β€” Aryan Raj (@AryanRa84076229) May 2, 2021
However, former England cricketer and commentator, Graeme SwannΒ feels that the demotion seems to be the product of something more than just bad form or the losing record.Β

According to Swann, the decision to drop Warner from the team may have come after what he said about Manish Pandey during a press conference.
"It was a harsh call in my opinion. But at the end of the day, it is a decision of the selectors to do that," Warner had said during a post-match press conference when asked about whether he was the one who decided to remove Pandey from the Playing XI after the hitter struggled at the pitch.
Without Warner team is just like tea without sugar

Shame on SRH selector and franchise
    β€” Asish Kr Yadav (@asishyadavmail) May 4, 2021
Last Sunday, the official Twitter handle of the SRH confirmed that the team had indeed decided to drop Warner as the captain and have New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson carry out the role.Β Β
However, a day later, during the match between SRH and Rajasthan Royals, Warner could be seen wearing the support-staff kit while carrying bottles in his hands for the on-field players.Β
"It seems like a message has been given to David Warner after that press conference where he passed the buck that this is not my decision but the selectors'. Someone's not happy about it, and unhappy enough to get rid of him as the skipper and drop him from the team. It looks like punishment to me more than anything," Swann said on Star Sports.Β

Once the tournament resumes, possibly in the United Arab Emirates or even the United Kingdom, it would be interesting to see whether Warner still remains excluded from the Playing XI or does he make a return after sitting out for just one game.Β

Virat KohliΒ and Anushka SharmaΒ have started a fundraising campaign with the hopes of raising Rs 7 crore to contribute towards India’s ongoing struggle to battle the biggest wave of the coronavirus pandemic this world has ever seen.
Quickly after the Indian Premier League was suspended, Kohli returned to his home in Mumbai, and revealed the details of their movement with Ketto, under a campaign named β€˜Covid Relief For India - #InThisTogether’.
    View this post on Instagram
β€œAs our country battles the second wave of Covid-19, and our healthcare systems are facing extreme challenges, it breaks my heart to see our people suffering. So, Virat and I have initiated a campaign #InThisTogether, with Ketto, to raise funds for Covid-19 relief. We shall all overcome this crisis together. Please step forward to support India and Indians. Your contribution will help in saving lives during this critical time,” Sharma wrote in the Instagram caption while talking about their initiative.Β
However, the couple did not mention the monetary contributions that they themselves made towards the campaign and it was only after visiting the website that their names could be seen highlighted as β€˜Top Donors’ with the sum amount of Rs 2 crore.Β
The Rs. 2 crore contribution comes following a Rs 3 crore donation that the couple had made back in March 2020Β when the country was first struck with the pandemic and the first wave had just begun.Β
Still, many seemed to be unhappy with their contribution and wanted them to donate even more:Β
2 crore is nothing compared to their earning, they cud have donated more. They took just one post to earn these much money. Look at people like sonu sood and their contribution to the people who in need.
β€” CricketFan (@Cricket80799343) May 7, 20212 crore only??? Both are starts in their field. 17 crore IPL by RcB. Atleast, should be 5 crore
β€” NPS (@ATULKUM42569084) May 7, 2021Amazing how it takes an AUSSIE to start and the rest to follow...nothing new
    β€” Imraan (@Imraan55575634) May 7, 2021Only!
β€” Muhammad Siraj A I (@Iam_Craaaj) May 7, 2021Β Nonetheless, their fundraising efforts have already received over 2600 donors within the first couple of hours since the video was first published by the Bollywood actor with the donation amount surpassing the Rs. 2.5 crore mark.Β
The campaign will remain active for the next seven days and if you wish to make a contribution, you can do so by going to KettoΒ as well.Β
The proceedings from the movement will go towards the ACT Grants, which has been working towards providing oxygen, medical manpower, vaccination awareness, and telemedicine facilities during the pandemic.

Sony reported a record-breaking sales figure for the PlayStation 5, however the next-generation consoles have been facing supply problems due to semiconductor shortages. In fact, India has not received a restock of the console since its initial release in February 2021. However, it seems like Sony might already be thinking of a design change to ease the problem of supply.Β
    Β© Pexels/kerde severin
The potential redesign news surfaces courtesy of Sony CFO, Hiroki Totoki, who said in an earnings call that the firm was struggling to keep up with the demand of the PlayStation 5. "The shortage of semiconductors is one factor, but there are other factors that will impact on the production volume," stated Totoki. "So, at present, we’d like to aim at [surpassing] second year sales of 14.8 million, which was the second year of PS4.”

While Sony will be surpassing the second year sales target, Totoki still expressed concerns over increasing the sales figures. Totoki stated that Sony could, "find maybe a secondary resource, or by changing the design”
It is worth pointing out that changing the design doesn’t necessarily mean changing the external look of the console. Since it has more to do with the semiconductors shortage, Totoki might be referring to getting new suppliers for the chips being used inside the console.Β
    Β© Unsplash/martin-katler
That’s precisely what a new report by DigitimesΒ suggests as it claims Sony is indeed planning to launch a redesigned PlayStation 5 console. However, this redesign has to do more with the hardware than the outer shell of the console. The report claims Sony could feature an AMD-design, semi-custom chip based on TSMC's 6nm process node. The report also states that Sony did consider using a 5nm chip, however it was said to be β€œtoo costly.”

Production of the new PlayStation 5 could start sometime in Q2-Q3 2022 which means it would take a while for the supply problems to stabilise. As of now, there is no news whether Sony is considering any external changes to the console.Β

It is also worth highlighting that Sony usually features a new hardware revision in the life cycle of each PlayStation generation. For example, the PS4 received a performance upgrade with the PS4 Pro model. It could be possible that the new PS5 redesigned model might the β€œPro” variant Sony might release sometime in the future.Β Β

The Indian Premier League was called offΒ in a hurry earlier this week, when reports of at least one member of the four franchises of the tournament testing positive with the coronavirus started making rounds.Β
This happened despite the strict bio-bubble protocol which was installed by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI)Β to ensure the safety of the players and the smooth sailing of the season.
    OFFICIAL UPDATE pic.twitter.com/6bW8YUYhON
    β€” Mumbai Indians (@mipaltan) May 4, 2021
With the number of positive COVID-19 cases flirting with the 4 lakh margin on a daily basis and no signs of falling anytime soon, the future of the ongoing edition of the Indian T20 league has found to be in a bit of uncertainty.Β
Emphasising the need for this season to finish in its entirety, BCCI President and former Team India Captain, Sourav GangulyΒ has revealed the kind of losses the organisers will incur if the tournament gets called off completely.
    View this post on Instagram
"There has got to be a lot of shuffling. Only a day has passed since we suspended the IPL. We have to speak to other boards and see if a window can be made available before the T20 World Cup," Ganguly told The Telegraph.Β
"Lot of things are involved and we will slowly start working on them. If we fail to complete the IPL, the loss will be close to INR 2500 crore (USD 340 million approx). That is going by early estimates," he added.Β

The Indian cricket board stepped up while ensuring the safety of everyone who were involved in making this season a possibility, especially the overseas players who were struggling to go back home due to travel bans imposed on them by their governments to avoid bringing in the β€œIndian strain” of the virus to their respective countries.Β
Chartered planes were organisedΒ for players belonging to nations such as New Zealand, South Africa and the Caribbean while the Australians were sent to the Maldives, where they can undergo quarantine before catching a flight back home.Β
According to Cricbuzz, Mumbai Indians are sending their overseas players via Chartered plane and they also offered other franchise players to join them.
    β€” Mufaddal Vohra (@mufaddal_vohra) May 5, 2021
Having said that, discussions of continuing the remainder of the season in the United Arab Emirates have already begun while the England and Wales Cricket Board have also volunteered themselves as the hosts if the BCCI would wish to bring the IPL to the United Kingdom.

A day after her birthday, Indian actor Anushka SharmaΒ thanked her fans for all the wishes that poured in but also went on to talk about how she and her husband, Virat KohliΒ were going to start a β€œmovement” and asked their fans to become a part of it as well.
    View this post on Instagram
And even though the video was important and made fans realise that arguably the most important power couple in the country, at the moment, is also making a lot of effort to help their nation get through the pandemic, no actual details were revealed.Β
A couple of days later, after the Indian Premier League was suspendedΒ indefinitely and the captain of the Royal Challengers Bangalore franchise, Virat Kohli made his way back home in Mumbai, he was seen in a meeting with Rahul N Kanal, a core committee member of Yuva Sena (Shiv Sena, Youth Division) with the aim to bring COVID-19 relief to the people.Β

β€œMeeting our Captain...Respect and love for the movement he has started working on for COVID relief... No words just Respect and Prayers for all his efforts !!!” Rahul wrote while sharing the pictures from their meeting on Twitter.Β
Earlier today, Sharma once again shared a video from her Instagram handle, this time explaining their detail in-depth and with Kohli sitting next to her.Β
View this post on Instagramβ€œAs our country battles the second wave of Covid-19, and our healthcare systems are facing extreme challenges, it breaks my heart to see our people suffering. For days now, some of the unreasonable critics of the couple have been questioning why did they not make a monetary contribution towards any one of the numerous NGOs and government agencies that are working towards the betterment of the people under this devastating pandemic.Β
However, a lot of people may have forgotten that the Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma contributed about Rs 3 crore back in March, 2020 when the pandemic had first hit our country and nobody knew exactly what or how to tackle it.

The Apple AirTags aren’t particularly cheap to purchase and don’t come with an accessory such as a keychain to prevent the tracker from getting lost. However, some people have found a way to get around buying an accessory by drilling a hole through the AirTag. People are drilling holes through the plastic outer ring of the AirTag so that one can pass a string or a keychain ring through the hole.Β
    Β© iFixit
The first images of an AirTag with a hole surfaced in the MacRumors forums where a member called smythey had drilled a hole that doesn’t look too elegant. In fact, the reason why one should not drill a hole into the AirTag is probably because it might void the warranty in the process.
    Β© Macrumors Forums
According to the forum user, the AirTag was working normally even after drilling the hole. From the image, we can see that the hole was drilled through the outer circular plastic cover. The hole completely avoids the circular steel frame and the tiny PCB inside it. It seems a bit unnecessary as one small mistake could result in a useless AirTag.Β

While it is a clever way to avoid spending extra on the accessories, it could cost a lot more if users are not careful. Having said that, you can always get cheaper third-party accessories for your AirTag, sometimes considerably cheaper than Apple’s offering.Β
    Β© Macrumors Forums
Having said that, if you are interested in actually drilling a hole in your AirTag, we recommend following the method posted by iFixit. The iFixit team was able to drill a hole without damaging the tracker and gives a good step-by-step guide on the website for you to follow.Β
