PUBG Mobile India will officially be called Battlegrounds Mobile India when it relaunches and it seems like we can start counting down the days. The battle royale game is expected to launch sometime soon once it gains permission from the Indian Government as Krafton has not released any new information about its relaunch.
However, the game company has started to update the logo on its official YouTube Channel where it takes cues from the Indian national flag. The company also updated its official Facebook and YouTube pages with the new name and removed all mention of PUBG Mobile from its social media handles and feed.

Krafton has officially announced the rebranding of the game via a press release and said, “BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA, a battle royale experience, will have a period of pre-registration before the launch. The game will be available to play only in India. KRAFTON will collaborate with partners to build an esports ecosystem while bringing in-game content regularly, starting with a series of India specific in-game events at launch, to be announced later.”

It is currently unknown whether the game has been granted permission by the Indian Government, however the company said, “With privacy and data security being a top priority, KRAFTON will be working with partners, to ensure data protection and security, at each stage. This will ensure privacy rights are respected, and all data collection and storage will be in full compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in India and for players here” in a statement to IGN India.
Krafton has now also updated its social network pages and YouTube channel with the rebranding and a teaser video. Though the teaser video does not say when the game is expected to launch and only puts an emphasis on the new logo.
PUBG Mobile was banned in India last year due to its partnership with Chinese games developer Tencent. The game was banned by the Indian Government on the grounds of national security and privacy. Krafton has now partnered with Microsoft to run its in-game servers and has recently made a donation of Rs 1.5 crore to the PM Cares fund to help battle the second wave of COVID-19 in India.

Krafton also said the company will “collaborate with partners to build an esports ecosystem while bringing in-game content regularly, starting with a series of India specific in-game events at launch, to be announced later.”

India continues to face the ugly wrath of the second wave of Covid-19 as the number of positive cases is only increasing by the day.
In the midst of these things, our country is dealing with other issues, including lack of hospital beds, oxygen cylinders etc.
But at a time when everyone is grappling with the virus, Rakhi Sawant recently made a statement that left some in splits and some rather impressed.

Rakhi has been on the down-low during the pandemic, however, she has still had her moments. Just a couple of weeks ago, she legit wore a PPE kit while buying vegetables and asked everyone to wear it to be safe from coronavirus.
Recently, the Bigg Boss 14 contestant was spotted grabbing a coffee in Mumbai and has now claimed that she can never contract the virus.

In a video shared on the paparazzi account, Rakhi can be heard talking about the shortage of vaccines among other things.
According to her, she is safe is from the virus and hence would pass on her share of the vaccine to someone in need.
Rakhi can be heard saying “Mujhe corona nahi ho sakta, mujhe kabhi nahi hoga, kyunki mere shareer mein mere Yeshu ka pavithra lahoo hai. Isliye mujhe corona aur meri family ko nahi ho sakta"
When translated into English, Rakhi is basically trying to say that, she will not catch the virus because she has 'the holy blood of Jesus flowing through her'. And according to her, that's the reason why she and her family will not contract Covid-19.
In the end, she also says that she has surrendered herself completely to god.

Recently, Bigg Boss 14 contestant Nikki Tamboli's brother succumbed to Covid-19. Rakhi also conveyed her condolences for Nikki and recalled how she would talk about her brother on the show often.

The paparazzi also asked her if she is aware that Kangana's Twitter account was suspended. To that, Rakhi responded saying that it's good as there's no need to spread negativity between neighbouring countries.
She also said that one shouldn't make such comments that are against the country's people, politicians etc.

Rakhi Sawant is said to be the queen of entertainment and controversies. Her last stint was Bigg Boss 14 and she was one of the finalists but left the show after receiving Rs 14 Lakhs as a cash prize so she could use the money for her mother's treatment.

Just like Kangana Ranaut, Swara Bhasker is also known to voice her opinions and at times, her tweets too stir controversies.
Meanwhile, Swara’s latest tweets have landed her in big trouble as she is being brutally trolled online and people are addressing her as the modern-day 'Manthra'.
For the unversed, Manthra was a character in Ramayana who was extremely wicked.
She convinced Queen Kaikeyi that the throne of the king belonged to her son Bharata and that her step-son Lord Rama should be exiled from the kingdom.
In Swara’s case, she has been reprimanding the BJP government over the current scenario in the country.
From asking PM Narendra Modi to resign to calling BJP members 'murderers' and even give it back to BJP Spokesperson Nighat Abbass, Swara has offended many people from the ruling dispensation of late.
Here are the tweets by Swara Bhasker:

And this is why people have been calling her the modern-day 'Manthra'.
While some people have been bashing her and asking her to focus more on her acting career, others have even asked people to report her account.
Here are the reactions:

Just recently, Swara reacted to Kangana Ranaut’s account being suspended and also shared about a fashion house terminating all ties with Kangana.
The actor wrote, "Pleasantly surprised to see this! Kudos to you @AnandBhushan & #RimzimDadu for calling out hate speech and incitement to genocide in a direct manner! Stand tall you guys!"
On the work front, Swara Bhasker was shooting for her upcoming film, Jahaan Chaar Yaar, whose shoot has now been stalled.
According to the official synopsis, Jahaan Chaar Yaar, helmed by Kamal Pandey, follows the story of four friends trapped in a rut of hapless monotony.
With grown-up kids and distant husbands, their middle-class lives have nothing to look forward to until a chance vacation in Goa.
The getaway turns into a thrilling roller coaster they never bargained for. The film will chronicle the journey of these four friends who go from being demure housewives into daring dames.

It’s time for Game of Thrones fans to get excited as HBO has finally released images from House of the Dragon. House of the Dragon, is a prequel to GOT which is based on George R.R. Martin’s book Fire and Blood and is set 300 years before GOT.
The show revolves around the story of House of Targaryen and one of the pictures which have been released showcases Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen and Prince Daemon Targaryen, played by Emma D'Arcy and Matt Smith.
In the first picture, you can see both the characters in the same bright blonde hair, very similar to their descendant, Game of Thrones’ Daenerys Targaryen.
Check out the first picture here-

HBO in a statement described the new characters in the picture as, “Rhaenyra Targaryen: The king’s first-born child, she is of pure Valyrian blood, and she is a dragon rider. Many would say that Rhaenyra was born with everything… but she was not born a man."
“Daemon Targaryen: The younger brother to King Viserys and heir to the throne. A peerless warrior and a dragon rider, Daemon possesses the true blood of the dragon. But it is said that whenever a Targaryen is born, the gods toss a coin in the air."
© HBO
In the second image, we can see Olivia Cook and Rhys Ifans who play Otto Hightower and his daughter Alicent Hightower respectively. In the show, Otto is the Hand of the King to the present ruler in the power of Westeros, King Viserys Targaryen.
According to HBO’s statement, “Ser Otto loyally and faithfully serves both his king and his realm. As the Hand sees it, the greatest threat to the realm is the king's brother, Daemon, and his position as heir to the throne."
The description also said, “Alicent is the most comely woman in the Seven Kingdoms. She was raised in the Red Keep, in King's Landing, close to the king and his innermost circle; she possesses both a courtly grace and a keen political acumen."
© HBO
In this image, we can see Steve Toussaint who is playing the role of Lord Corlys of House Velaryon, known as the Sea Snake. Corlys and his whole family are said to be from a Valyrian bloodline as old as House Targaryen.
"As 'The Sea Snake,' the most famed nautical adventurer in the history of Westeros, Lord Corlys built his house into a powerful seat that is even richer than the Lannisters and that claims the largest navy in the world," says the description.
The show is said to release in the year 2022 on HBO Max and we are already excited. What do you think? Let us know in the comments section below!

Mahendra Singh Dhoni has been known as one of the best captains and leaders the Indian cricket team has had the honour of playing and functioning under in the history of the sport in this country.
But from time to time, the guy does something so special that the fans can’t help to be in absolute awe of him and the character he shows on and off the field.
#IPL2021 #MSDhoni #CSK
In a virtual meeting with his teammates, @msdhoni said that since the IPL is happening in India, the foreign players and support staff should get the preference to travel first to reach their homes abroad.
✍️ @pdevendrahttps://t.co/IjF1GKozDZ
— Express Sports (@IExpressSports) May 6, 2021In a conversation with The Indian Express, a member of the Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings franchise revealed that the skipper had delayed his own journey back home to Ranchi and wanted to wait until each and every member of his squad (cricketers and the support staff), managed to find a way back home, including the overseas personnel.
“Mahibhai said that he will be the last person to leave the hotel. He wanted foreigners to leave first, then the Indian players. He will be taking the last flight tomorrow when everyone reaches their home safe and secure,” the CSK member said.
Even after #IPL2021 suspension, #Dhoni proved he is the Captain off the field too..
He said he would be the last person to leave and wanted overseas players return first and then other domestic players..
He is still #Delhi hotel making sure, other players travel arrangement!
— Ramesh Bala (@rameshlaus) May 6, 2021
Dhoni fans, who were eagerly waiting for their idol’s return to form after the CSK made an incredible bounce-back to the top of the tournament, had even more admiration and respected for him after learning about what he is doing at the moment:

— धोनी भक्त (@prathamkhokharr) May 6, 2021CSK organised chartered flights for their players to Rajkot and Mumbai while another evening flight picked players from Bengaluru and Chennai. Dhoni will be flying back to Ranchi on Thursday, according to the current schedule.
On Tuesday, BCCI treasurer Arun Dhumal had said, “We stand by our word that for us, the IPL is not complete until our players and officials reach their homes safe and secure. We are working on that and will come out with a detailed plan in two days.”
The Indian cricket board has already made arrangements to transport the Australian members of the IPL community including players, coaching staff and the commentators to the Maldives where they will be in at least a three-day quarantine before being allowed to return to their country.
Aussie commentator Michael Slater had already made his way to the archipelagic state last week after his government had taken away every Australian citizen’s right to come back home (who has been in India) until May 15th.
Slater has been extremely critical of this precautionary measure and has expressed his dissent towards his Prime Minister Scott Morrison on Twitter a number of times.
Amazing to smoke out the PM on a matter that is a human crisis. The panic, the fear of every Australian in India is real!! How about you take your private jet and come and witness dead bodies on the street!
— Michael Slater (@mj_slats) May 5, 2021
“Amazing to smoke out the PM on a matter that is a human crisis. The panic, the fear of every Australian in India is real!! How about you take your private jet and come and witness dead bodies on the street!” the former cricketer wrote in his latest jab.

Passion and the stubbornness to become successful will help you achieve the kind of things you thought you were incapable of.
The financially mediocre family that you were born in, the limitations levied on you by the place where you grew up and the people who told you that you would not be good enough to meet your goals, all that feels no more than a pinch on your arm when you look back at the journey in life that you have completed having reached your destination.
61-year-old Vivek Ranadive, a Mumbai-born, grew up in the streets of Juhu and in an environment in which people expected nothing but the best from him. The youngest of the three children in the family, Vivek was nothing short of a genius who got a call from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) when he was only 16 and started his first company, a UNIX consulting company during his time there.
Eternally grateful to @MIT for fulfilling my childhood dream. #tbt pic.twitter.com/jp6leaX6eR
— Vivek Ranadivé (@Vivek) April 19, 2018 With bachelor's and master's degrees from MIT, Ranadive finished his MBA from Harvard University and went on to become the founder of TIBCO, a billion-dollar real-time computing company.
“The way I was raised was that if you came second, you were a loser,” Ranadive had said a couple of days ago in a conference. “My hatred for failure is greater than my love for success.”
But owning a billion-dollar company was never the end goal for the Mumbaikar. For someone who always wanted to become a major part of the basketball culture of the USA, Ranadive decided to buy shares of the National Basketball Association (NBA) team, the Golden State Warriors (GSW). In 2010, he not only became the vice-chairman of the franchise but also the first person of Indian descent to co-own an NBA team.
In 2013, he sold his GSW shares and purchased 65% of the shares of the Sacramento Kings for approximately $348 million.

— Sacramento Kings (@SacramentoKings) May 29, 2013 The elite businessman often sees the term 'philanthropist' added ahead of his name. “This will sound corny, but when I wake up, the first thought I have is, 'What can I do to make a difference and make the world better?'” he'd said back in 2019 when he was here in India.
So he decided to bring the game he loves so dearly back to his country, better yet, his city.
On 4th and 5th October 2019, Ranadive's Sacramento Kings played against Indiana Pacers in the first-ever NBA India Games in Mumbai in what turned out to be a great success, indicating a successful future for the sport in the country.

“I left Bombay (Mumbai) when I was 17 years old and literally I had $50 in my pocket. So to come back here with my NBA team… to play an actual NBA game is beyond my wildest imagination,” he said in a press conference ahead of the first game.
In a conversation with MensXP, Ranadive spoke about the responsibilities that came about as the owner of such a major organisation and a global franchise.
“One of the first things that you discover when you buy a professional sports team is that you actually don't own the team. It belongs to the fans, it belongs to the city, even the media. We (Sacramento Kings) are committed to using our platform for impacting our community. When I bought the team, I laid out a mission statement which was to build a winning franchise that enhances the lives of those it touches and makes the world a better place,” he said.
Ranadive is using this platform to indeed make his birth city a better place, especially for the younger generations. Alongside NBA Commissioner Adam Silver and NBA India Managing Director Rajesh Sethi, the Kings owner has laid the foundation for 'Legacy Project' at the grassroots level of sports and education in Mumbai, in which they will be supporting five under-resourced Municipal schools in Mumbai with technology equipment, trained teachers, a basketball court, and improved infrastructure capacities.
“These kids are way smarter than me when I was their age,” Ranadive said at the plowing ceremony of the 'Legacy Project' on Sunday. “I have no doubt that those kids will be way more successful that I have been," he added.

“Indians have two natural resources. They have the ability to work hard and the second is that they have imagination. Those two resources, hard work, and imagination are the most important to succeed in the next century," Ranadive said.
His work speaks for him. A self-made man who has seen the two extremes of the world when it comes to money, Vivek Ranadive is all about building an empire, sure, but he also wishes to put the society on his shoulders and run towards excellence.
