Meanwhile, Swara’s latest tweets have landed her in big trouble as she is being brutally trolled online and people are addressing her as the modern-day 'Manthra'. 

For the unversed, Manthra was a character in Ramayana who was extremely wicked. 

She convinced Queen Kaikeyi that the throne of the king belonged to her son Bharata and that her step-son Lord Rama should be exiled from the kingdom.

In Swara’s case, she has been reprimanding the BJP government over the current scenario in the country. 

From asking PM Narendra Modi to resign to calling BJP members 'murderers' and even give it back to BJP Spokesperson Nighat Abbass, Swara has offended many people from the ruling dispensation of late.

Just recently, Swara reacted to Kangana Ranaut’s account being suspended and also shared about a fashion house terminating all ties with Kangana. 

The actor wrote, "Pleasantly surprised to see this! Kudos to you @AnandBhushan & #RimzimDadu for calling out hate speech and incitement to genocide in a direct manner! Stand tall you guys!"

On the work front, Swara Bhasker was shooting for her upcoming film, Jahaan Chaar Yaar, whose shoot has now been stalled. 

According to the official synopsis, Jahaan Chaar Yaar, helmed by Kamal Pandey, follows the story of four friends trapped in a rut of hapless monotony. 

With grown-up kids and distant husbands, their middle-class lives have nothing to look forward to until a chance vacation in Goa. 

The getaway turns into a thrilling roller coaster they never bargained for. The film will chronicle the journey of these four friends who go from being demure housewives into daring dames.
