We have all grown up listening to the fierce tales about Raavan.Β
His unrighteous abduction of Sita is a story we are all too familiar with. But no matter how many times we have heard about Raavan and his fearsome wrath, he continues to remain a charismatic character that always draws us towards the story and keeps us hooked.

MX Original SeriesΒ RamyugΒ is a magnum-opus re-telling of Ramayan that narrates the tale of love, devotion, sacrifice, and revenge.Β
Bollywoodβs ace director Kunal Kohli is at the helm of this much-awaited series that promises stunning visuals and a grand setting like no other. By the looks of the trailer, they sure seem to deliver on that promise.Β Β
Touted as one of his most ambitious projects, Kunal Kohli has strived to focus heavily on creative and visually appealing VFX, editing, and post-production effects.Β
The majestic series walks us through the life of Rama, the unforgettable Prince of Ayodhya, played by the charismatic DiganthManchale. The beautiful Sita is brought to life by Aishwarya Ojha, who has already left quite an impression on us after the trailer.Β Β Β

The Indian Premier LeagueΒ has been called off indefinitely with a surge in positive COVID-19 cases within the various players of the tournament despite a strong Bio Bubble security being maintained by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

However, back when things were relatively normal and the franchises moved to Ahmedabad for the second leg of the tournament, a shocking scene was recorded on camera in which a convoy of buses belonging to the Kolkata Knight RidersΒ could be seen crossing a street being escorted by a couple of police vehicles while cutting off traffic in the middle.
The video also shows that the convoy ended up halting a medical ambulance as well, as they quickly moved across before the flow of the traffic resumed once again.

βAhmedabad police stopped an ambulance to let pass IPL cricketersβ convoy in a bizarre turn of events. News18 Gujarati reports this horrible incident that has sparked fury among citizens,β writes Twitter user TheAgeOfBananas, who shared the viral video online.
βFailure to allow free passage to emergency vehicles.-- Whoever while driving a motor vehicle fails to draw to the side of the road, on the approach of a fire service vehicle or of an ambulance or other emergency vehicle as may be specified by the State Government, shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to six months, or with a fine of ten thousand rupees or with both,β states section 194E in Motor Vehicles Act, βFailure to allow free passage to emergency vehiclesβ.
However, the Ahmedabad police refuses to accept the video as genuine and feels that it was created with the malicious intent to defame the local forces.
βWe have seen the video and are yet to verify whether the traffic at said junction was stopped by Traffic Police or Ahmedabad Police. The police will never stop an ambulance on its way for any VIP convoy, be it of IPL players or any minister. We even donβt stop hearse vans for convoys. The case could be of momentary confusion. This is a malicious attempt to tarnish the image of police with fake and defamatory video,β they said according to a report by The Indian Express.
The Knight Riders were supposed to face off Virat Kohliβs Royal Challengers Bangalore on May 3 (Monday) but the match was called off in the morning when two KKR players, namely Varun Chakravarthy and Sandeep Warrier were tested with the coronavirus.
Hereβs how the fans reacted to the video:
Ambulance is not important. Your Amit Shah and Jay Shah are important. IPL for them is above people..

India has given domestic telecom companies and network equipment vendors the go-ahead to conduct a six-month trial on 5G technology. However, none of the networking equipment that will be used for testing will be from China. The decision to exclude Chinese players could have been made due to the recent border tensions with Indiaβs neighbours.Β

Even though companies like Huawei were granted permission to participate in Indiaβs 5G trial phase last year, it seems like the company has been excluded for now. Chinese network equipment will be excluded from the trials while companies like Ericsson, Nokia, Samsung, and C-DOT kit have been granted permission by the Department of Telecommunications. The announcement came via a statement by the Ministry of Communications.Β
Indian telecom companies like Reliance Jio, Airtel, MTNL and Vodafone have been granted permission to conduct trials using their own technology or via key vendors. For the trials, telecom companies will use an experimental spectrum doled out by the Indian Government. These bands are spread across the mid-band, millimetre wave band, and the sub-gigahertz band. The telecom companies have also been granted permission to use their own spectrum for 5G trials.Β

The trials will be required to be conducted in three different settings i.e. rural, semi-urban settings, and urban settings so that 5G technology is not exclusive to urban areas, the Ministry of Communications said. Telecom companies have also been told to run the tests on a non-commercial basis and should not be connected to any of the existing networks.Β
5G trials are slated to begin six months after Reliance Jio CEO Mukesh Ambani announced that the company will be rolling out its own 5G networks by the end of 2021. "I assure you that Jio will pioneer the 5G revolution in India in the second half of 2021," said Ambani, during the India Mobile Congress 2020 keynote.Β

Ever since her permanent suspension from TwitterΒ for her remarks that could have enticed violence, actor Kangana Ranaut and her team are now facing a new round of boycotting.Β
This time around, by celebrated fashion designers.

Ever since the news of her Twitter account getting suspended broke out, notable designers like Rimzim Dadu & Anand Bhushan have put up statements, saying that going forth neither of them will be associated with any project that involves the actress.

Delhi-based designer Anand Bhushan took to social media to share a post, stating that he no longer would be associated with her for any project whatsoever and urged the other designers to think twice before associating with the actor.

Designer Rimzim Dadu shared a post on her social media and wrote, "Never too late to do the right thing! We are removing all posts of past collaborations from our social channels and pledge to not engage in any future association with her."

Furthermore, they also said that they are actively removing all photographs of their previous collaborations with Kangana and other similar content from their timelines.Β
As if this wasnβt a big βegg on the faceβ moment for Kanganaβs team, her sister, and manager, Rangoli Chandel, put up a post, trying to bash Anand Bhushan as someone who was trying to cash in on someone elseβs fame.

Anand Bhushan, savagely shut Rangoli down, by sharing an old Femina cover, where Rangoli is actually wearing clothes designed and created by Bhushan.Β

As if all this wasnβt enough, Rangoli then put up a story on her feed, saying that she would be filing a lawsuit against Anand Bhushan, alleging that βthis small-time designer" is using Indiaβs top actressβ name to promote himself.β

For people who are unaware of what has been going on, Kangana put up a tweet, asking Prime Minister to intervene and impose Presidentβs Rule in Bengal, citing post-election violence.Β
While doing so, she referred to the 2002 Gujarat riots in a discrete manner.

Twitter saw this as a call to riot and violence and therefore suspended her account permanently.Β
As is usual, Kangana saw herself as the victim in all this, and gave this incident a colonial colour, stating that Twitter is a βwhiteβ manβs platform, and saying, βA white person feels entitled to enslave a brown person.β

Within a couple of days, the Indian Premier League went from rescheduling a match to suspending the entire tournament indefinitely after at least one member of four out of eight franchises tested positive with the COVID-19 virus.
βThe IPL has been suspended for time being. We spoke to everyone from teams, broadcasters and all those who were involved in it. It was decided to defer the IPL especially looking at the sentiment and current situation in the country. For us players health is paramount and BCCI will always keeps safety first. We will meet again soon and decide when we can conclude this edition, we will have to see when is the next window available,β Rajeev Shuka, BCCI Vice President confirmed on Tuesday.

With uncertainty surrounding what has become the most lucrative T20 league in the world, many overseas players are trying to find their way back home, however, due to tough travel laws levied by the respective countries because of the dangerous Indian strain of the virus, the playersβ journey might not be easy at all.
However, co-owner of Punjab Kings, Ness Wadia feels that these βforeign playersβ should not be complaining so much about the situation, especially when they were made aware of the potential consequences of flying over to India for the league.
Punjab Kings co-owner said hats off to the Indian players who have been playing non stop and didn't complain unlike some foreigners. The situation was different a month ago. They should study the fact that cases were very less when IPL started before commenting on it. (To PTI).
β Mufaddal Vohra (@mufaddal_vohra) May 4, 2021
βHats off to the Indian players who have been playing non stop in bubbles and not complained unlike some of the foreign players. With due respect to the international cricketers including Zampa, the situation was very different a month ago. They should study the fact that cases were very less when we started before commenting on it,β he said according to The Times of IndiaΒ
"It happened during the Australian Open they shut the city down when it was happening. People didn't complain then, why now," Wadia added.
Not everyone is convinced with Wadiaβs take on the matter and fans of the numerous overseas players talk about the need to be more empathetic towards all those players who are thousands of miles away from their families while the Indian cricketers can take the next flight out and be with their families in less than one dayβs time.
That's such a stupid statement, Indian players don't have much of a worry of returning to home cause they ARE playing at home. Foreign players have to worry about leaving their homes, getting flights to India and back home. Plus add those insecure bubbles to the list
β Human (@adangotha69) May 4, 2021This is wrong
They are not slaves to play at any cost, they have every rights to play or not play
β M A N D E E P (@MandeepkumarN2) May 4, 2021Saying Indians didn't complain was fine, no need for him to say on foreigners..
It's not easy to stay away from ur country in a place where cases are skyrocketing π€·
β Raunit Ranjan (@RaunitRanjan2) May 4, 2021Well, to be honest you should be happy that some foreign players are actually playing while far away from the family + covid cases are going up day by day they was no need to disrespect the foreigner players.
