Kangana Ranaut has never shied away from expressing her opinions and this time she has taken a dig at Sonu Sood. Yes, you read that right! Sonu Sood has helped many migrants and people in general during the whole Covid crisis.

Now, Kangana has liked a tweet that accuses Sonu Sood of being a fraud. Recently, a Twitter user shared advertisement images in which Sonu was seen promoting oxygen concentrating machines.

The oxygen concentrating machines costs lakhs of rupees and a Twitter user shared the posters saying, "Such a fraud using a crisis to make money Oxygen concentrator Rs. 2 lakh."

Check out the original post here-

The post has over 2800 likes and over 830 re-tweets and Kangana Ranaut has also liked the post.
Here’s what people have to say about it-
.@SonuSood you are cheating people whose loved ones are dying.. even 10ltrs of Oxygen Concentrator doesn’t cost 1 lac and you are charging ₹2 lac for 5 ltr oxygen concentrator..

How do you sleep at night doing so much fraud? BMC was right in saying you are a serial offender

    — RemdesivirBlackMarketWal (@salalungi) May 3, 2021However, the actor has been endorsing the brand since 2020. A press release on the brand’s website also stated, “brand joined hands with Sonu to be the "face of the company’s new range of Oximeters and Infrared Thermometers. He was chosen to educate people across the country about the correct use of these medical devices and how they are vital in monitoring one’s health."

Sonu and Kangana have had their differences. Earlier, Sonu Sood was part of Manikarnika: Queen of Jhansi but Kangana claimed that he refused to work under a female director. However, Sonu Sood clarified that wasn’t the reality. The actor revealed, "80% of my scenes were chopped off and the scenes that I was narrated were not there."
Later, he expressed that after talking to Kangana he realized that he wasn’t comfortable with what she was asking him to do.

Recently, Kangana also tweeted that people are forcefully taking oxygen from the environment. She wrote, “Everybody is building more and more oxygen plants, getting tons and tons of oxygen cylinders, how are we compensating for all the oxygen that we are forcefully drawing from the environment? It seems we learned nothing from our mistakes and catastrophes they cause #Planttrees.”

Facebook and Instagram are now threatening that users will need to pay for their services if they don’t allow these apps to track them after installing iOS 14.5. After the release of iOs 14.5, all apps must seek permission before they track a user between apps and websites. This move will reportedly cost Facebook millions of dollars as more and more people deny Facebook the right to track them.
    © Facebook
Now Facebook is trying every trick in the book to get people to share their data with them including charging for their services.

“To help people make a more informed decision, we're also showing a screen of our own, along with Apple's. It will provide more information about how we use personalized ads, which support small businesses and keep apps free. If you accept the prompts for Facebook and Instagram, the ads you see on those apps won't change. If you decline, you will still see ads, but they will be less relevant to you. Agreeing to these prompts doesn't result in Facebook collecting new types of data. It just means that we can continue to give people better experiences.”
    © BCCL
Facebook is subtly asking its users to keep “Facebook/Instagram free” by allowing targeted ads. This suggests that the company might charge its users for access in the future. This is nothing but a scare tactic deployed by Facebook to get users to allow targeted advertisements.

And it begins. @Facebook / @Instagram explore additional scare tactics to combat @Apple iOS14 #ATT privacy changes.

    — ashkan soltani (@ashk4n) April 30, 2021
It is also worth pointing out that new App Store rules prohibit app makers from offering incentives to users for allowing themselves to be tracked. Facebook and Instagram haven’t directly broken this rule right now but it sure comes close.

Kangana Ranaut has been a strong supporter of the BJP government and her tweets are proof of it.

Some of her tweets, which are political in nature, can be extremely toxic and even have the potential to create disharmony between religions and communities.
    © Instagram_Kangana Ranaut
Time and again, she has stirred controversies because of her tweets and people have had mixed reactions to them.

In the latest development, the actor’s account has now been suspended and honestly, it did not come as a surprise.
Turns out, the action was taken following her recent tweet in connection with the Bengal elections.
    © Kangana Ranaut Twitter
She made comments on the alleged violence that took place in West Bengal after the Assembly Election results were announced recently.

Kangana had demanded president rule in West Bengal after the Mamta Banerjee-led TMC won the election in the state and the BJP lost the battle.
In her tweet, she wrote, "Hundreds of murders and #Bengalisburning But Modi is Fascist and Mamata is a secular leader. Enough is enough #PresidentRuleinBengal."
    © Kangana Ranaut Twitter
Her tweet sparked outrage and social media users united to call on Twitter to take strong action.

Twitter’s spokesperson has now shared a statement that says, "We’ve been clear that we will take strong enforcement action on behaviour that has the potential to lead to offline harm. The referenced account has been permanently suspended for repeated violations of Twitter Rules specifically our Hateful Conduct policy and Abusive Behaviour policy. We enforce the Twitter Rules judiciously and impartially for everyone on our service."
Kangana had also posted a video talking on the same lines claiming the WB poll result to be the 'death of democracy'.
She even asked the BJP government not to be scared as she wants them to not let the ‘deshdrohis’ rule the nation.
    Here’s the video:

A lot of people are rather relieved that her account has been suspended and have been celebrating the development with memes:

This isn’t the first time that Twitter has taken action against her.

Earlier this year, certain restrictions were imposed on her account after she posted an incendiary tweet against the Prime Video series Tandav.
Kangana took to Twitter and wrote, “Because even Lord Krishna forgave 99 mistakes of Sheshupala.... pehle Shanti phir Kranti (Silence must be followed by revolution).... time to take their heads off... Jai Shri Krishan…”
At that time, a Twitter spokesperson told NDTV, “We prohibit content that wishes, hopes or expresses a desire for death, serious bodily harm against an individual or group of people and take enforcement action when we identify violations which could include placing an account in read-only mode.”

The Indian Premier League has been cancelled indefinitely after reports of multiple players testing positive for the coronavirus from different franchises found their way to the public.
On Tuesday, the chairman of the tournament, Brijesh Patel confirmed that the IPL will be temporarily called off. “We have suspended the IPL for now. The new window will be worked out later on. A statement will follow soon,” Patel told The Hindu.

Yesterday, reports of Kolkata Knight Riders players Varun Chakraborty and Sandeep Warrier testing positive with the virus led to the postponement of the match between KKR and Virat Kohli’s Royal Challengers Bangalore.
Today, it was confirmed that two members of the Chennai Super Kings franchise, namely bowling coach L Balaji, and a bus cleaner had COVID-19 and therefore their match against Rajasthan Royals was also called off.
Latest from @ChennaiIPL - the team CEO has tested negative for COVID-19, L Balaji and a service staff member are positive. Full details here
    — Cricbuzz (@cricbuzz) May 3, 2021
However, when the news of Covid-19-positive Amit Mirsha (Delhi Capitals) and Wriddhiman Saha (SunRisers Hyderabad) was issued, it meant that at least four out of eight IPL teams had at least one member of the team infected. Eventually the tournament was suspended until further notice.
“The IPL has been suspended for time being. We spoke to everyone from teams, broadcasters and all those who were involved in it. It was decided to defer the IPL especially looking at the sentiment and current situation in the country. For us players health is paramount and BCCI will always keeps safety first. We will meet again soon and decide when we can conclude this edition, we will have to see when is the next window available,” Rajeev Shuka, BCCI Vice President recently confirmed.
And while the disappointment of not being able to see their favourite cricketers lock horns with each other every single day remains high, some of the fans, especially those of former SRH captain, David Warner, are yelling “retribution”:

When it comes to naming one of the most improved batsmen between the 13th and 14th seasons of the Indian Premier League, Prithvi Shaw has a commanding lead in the category. Having played in just 8 matches so far, the 21-year old has already scored 80 more runs than his total runs through 13 matches last year and the confidence in his performance shows on his face.
    View this post on Instagram
However, every once in a while even the most confident players in the world have a humbling moment. For Shaw, this moment came on Sunday during the match between Delhi Capitals and Punjab Kings, when he had spent just a couple of overs on strike.
A 140kmph delivery by Riley Meredith on the final ball of the third over escaped Shaw’s bat and struck him in the most dreadful place a batsman could imagine, rendering him helpless, on his knees, gasping for air.
    © Twitter - @Vigneshcdm1
In between overs, a physio rushed to the batter in pain, checked him up and explained that everything was fine. Still, just to calm his mind, Shaw decided to do some inspection of his own. He still on his knees, Shaw began to curiously check something down his pants and gave a big grin once he was presumably happy with what he found.

Unfortunately for the DC player, the cameraman was too quick to catch the entire episode and fans even quicker to record the incident off their television screens to put in in front of the world to watch and rewatch, again and again.

According to media reports, the BCCI is contemplating a return to Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium to carry out the second leg of the tournament from May 7 after Delhi and Ahmedabad locations were deemed unsafe.

Australia has had one of the most strict set of international rules and policies when it comes to dealing with the coronavirus pandemic and it is safe to say that their ways have worked, considering the very few number of people (15-25) testing positive on a daily basis with practically zero per day deaths since October 2020.
So when some of the Australian citizens made their trip to India to become a member of the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League as players, coaches, and commentators and found themselves in the middle of the most adversely affected region of the world at the moment, their travel rights to go back to their country were quickly and very swiftly taken away.
    Official Announcment:

Adam Zampa & Kane Richardson are returning to Australia for personal reasons and will be unavailable for the remainder of #IPL2021. Royal Challengers Bangalore management respects their decision and offers them complete support.#PlayBold #WeAreChallengers pic.twitter.com/NfzIOW5Pwl
    — Royal Challengers Bangalore (@RCBTweets) April 26, 2021
Australian cricketers Adam Zampa and Kane Richardson were the only two athletes who were able to make their way back home by finding a travel loophole in the Australian government’s plan. With direct flights between the two countries, they decided to fly to Doha first and then make their way home from there.
The country’s government has shut transit flight routes via Doha, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur.https://t.co/kJV9HOjrga
    — scroll.in (@scroll_in) May 1, 2021
However, as soon as they reached Melbourne, the government decided to fix these loopholes, shutting down ‘Via’ flights from places like Doha, Singapore, and Kuala Lumpur, bringing complete exodus to the rest of their citizens who are absolutely stuck in India, amid the largest wave of COVID-19 that the world has ever seen.
One such person is the former Australian cricketer turned commentator, Michael Slater, who called out his Prime Minister Scott Morrison for such a move:
If our Government cared for the safety of Aussies they would allow us to get home. It's a disgrace!! Blood on your hands PM. How dare you treat us like this. How about you sort out quarantine system. I had government permission to work on the IPL but I now have government neglect
    — Michael Slater (@mj_slats) May 3, 2021
“If our Government cared for the safety of Aussies they would allow us to get home. It's a disgrace!! Blood on your hands PM. How dare you treat us like this. How about you sort out quarantine system. I had government permission to work on the IPL but I now have government neglect,” he tweeted.
On Tuesday morning, the Australian PM addressed Slater’s comments and called his take “absurd”.
“What we’re doing here is we’ve got a temporary pause in place because we’ve seen a rapid escalation in the infection rate in people who have travelled out of India,” Morrison said on the Nine Network.
Understanding the gravity of the situation, many of the local Australians also decided to stick with their leader’s decision of imposing the travel ban and reminded Slater that he must have known the potential risks of flying down to a hotspot even before the tournament had started.
Sorry but the safety of those Australian that live in Australia supersedes those that have chose to travel overseas (to known hot spots) for work during the pandemic, ride it out now Champ, I only feel for people who have been trying to get home prior to March/April 2020!!! pic.twitter.com/D0M27Il56Q
    — Cebreb (@cebreb) May 3, 2021Give me a break. You chose to go there knowing full well there was a covid crisis going on over there. You must have known there would be risks.
    — Sami Dowd (@samidowd) May 3, 2021We’re in a pandemic but you still CHOSE to go to India. You knew the risks but you went anyway. Did you expect to be able to pull the “don’t you know who I am” card to get around it?
    — Nicole Ryland (@dalley8) May 3, 2021Pretty sure you knew the risks before you left! Same as the Olympic athletes, although they don’t get any coun like you.
    — Jodi Willis-Roberts OAM (@THROWER_7) May 3, 2021U left to work overseas during a pandemic surely u must have suspected something like this could happen. U weight up the risk v reward and u lost. If u were that worried u shouldn’t have left
    — cliffy1981 (@cliffy19811) May 3, 2021“This is a temporary arrangement,” Mr Morrison had said earlier in the month. “It’s being put in place to ensure that we do not get a third wave here in Australia and that our quarantine system can remain strong.
