Sometimes, certain things in the Bollywood industry come as a total surprise to us on the outside.

For example, when we listed out the shortest marriages in the industry. Likewise, another thing that we didn't know are some family bonds in Bollywood.
What if we told you that Karan Johar and Aditya Chopra are related?
There are a few relationships in Bollywood that have gone unnoticed. Here are 7 lesser-known relations in Bollywood that might take you by surprise:
    1. Ajay Devgn & Mohnish Bahl © Instagram/Ajay Devgn

Ajay Devgn and the popular actor from Hum Saath-Saath Hain are actually brothers-in-law, as Mohnish's mother Nutan and Kajol's mother Tanuja are sisters. He is Kajol's first cousin.

Remember Kajol's little sister in the movie DDLJ? Not many people know this but Pooja Ruparel is related to Sonakshi Sinha.

Both their grandmothers were siblings which makes the actresses cousins too.
    3. Ashutosh Gowariker & Ayan Mukherji © Instagram/ Ashutosh Gowariker

Ashutosh Gowariker and Ayan Mukherji's relation is not something everyone is aware of.

Ayan's father, who married twice, had a daughter from the first marriage named Sunita. Sunita is married to director Ashutosh Gowariker. Hence, the Lagaan director is Ayan's brother-in-law.

Feroz Khan and Mumtaz were a famous on-screen couple.

As for Fardeen's relation with the famous 60s actress, Mumtaz, he is married to Natasha Madhwani, who is Mumtaz's daughter.
    5. Amrita Rao & Guru Dutt © Instagram/Amrita Rao

Vivaah actress Amrita Rao is said to be related to the yesteryear actor Guru Dutt. This was revealed by Amrita herself.

She had mentioned that the legendary actor Guru Dutt and her grandfather were second cousins. Interestingly, she was inspired by Dutt's cult films but she was unaware back then that they were related.
    6. Prem Chopra & Sharman Joshi © Instagram/Sharman Joshi
Sharman Joshi also has an interesting relationship, something most of us didn't know about. He is the son-in-law of Prem Chopra.

Prem Chopra and his wife have three daughters and Sharman is married to Prerna Chopra, one of the daughters of the couple.
    7. Farhan Akhtar & Farah Khan © Instagram/Faru_agk
Even Farhan Akhtar and Farah Khan are related from their maternal side. Turns out, Farhan's mother Daisy Irani has two sisters and Farah Khan is the daughter of one of them.

Her mother's name is Maneka Irani and hence, these filmmakers are first cousins.

In the era of digitalization, everyone thinks it’s easy to target people by simply turning on their phones and laptops, enjoying the protection of anonymity.

We have found many celebs becoming the victim of brutal trolling on social media and just recently, Bajrangi Bhaijaan director Kabir Khan was trolled and his wife Mini Mathur didn’t spare the one who slammed him.
She replied to a nasty Twitter troll asking about her filmmaker husband’s financial condition.
"Heard ur husband has become bankrupt due to investment in 83. Is it true," the Twitter user wrote.
In response, Mini wrote, "Use your extra time to help someone in distress please." The person later deleted their comment after Mini shut him down.

Kabir's 83 was supposed to release last year but has been postponed indefinitely due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone's 83 is the story that revolves around how Team India created history by winning the World Cup for the first time in 1983 under the captainship of Kapil Dev.

Last year, Mini had also spoken about her marriage with Kabir as the two decided to be with each other despite how many people see interfaith relationships.

She had said, “By not speaking up, you are party to normalizing of hate between communities. Also, why and how does religion matter? What role does it/should it play in our generation? I’d rather the world turn atheist that have hate as religion. And wanting peace and harmony in our country does not make me or any of us, less of a patriot.”

Speaking about how they met each other, Kabir recently told Neha Dhupia on her show No Filter Neha, “There was a channel called Home TV and they were doing this very big show at that point in time where the first prize for that show was like a flat in Bombay and that’s how we met. I was a freelance camera person and Mini was a presenter and actually, we both went to the production house office to say that we might not be able to do the show because we both had date issues. We didn’t know about each other’s date issues, we met for the first time in that office, in that meeting, and in the course of that meeting our date issues sort of disappeared and we decided that we do want to do this show and that was fun because they made us travel all over India together and we got to know each other in the course of that journey and that’s how it started.”

The two have been married for more than two decades.

The world's eyes are on India right now amid the alarming rise in COVID cases each day and the second wave is only getting deadlier by the day.
Most countries have been coming forward and are providing aid in the form of oxygen cylinders, donations etc.
Moved by the sufferings of the neighbouring country, even Pakistan has expressed its solidarity with India, in such tragic times.

Recently, singer and songwriter Imran Hashmi from Pakistan composed a song, Hum Tere Sath Hai. The singer was touched by the distressing situation in India and hence, penned the beautiful song to express his solidarity.

Noted journalist Geeta Mohan took to Twitter to share the video.

    — Geeta Mohan گیتا موہن गीता मोहन (@Geeta_Mohan) May 3, 2021He told in one of the interviews, “I was shaken to the core as I watched on television the worsening situation in India and the destruction coronavirus was leaving in its path. It’s Ramadan, a time for compassion and I wanted to show our neighbours that we stand with them in their hour of need. I immediately started working on the song and penned the lyrics, which is about solidarity and hope,”
The song is now live on his YouTube Channel.
We are all aware of the constant disputes between Pakistan and India but Hashmi has always dreamt of bringing peace between both countries and this is his step towards making that happen.

He also said “I might be a random boy from Lahore, but I believe through my music I can spread the message of peace across the border and I’m also expecting them to reciprocate in the same way. I feel humbled to know my message of love and peace in my song is now being spread across the world and I am also glad to know that Pakistan is being seen as a peace-loving nation,”

Not just that, Hashmi had also written a song last year for the frontline workers. His song was named Tujhe Salam, and it was well-received across the globe.

Further mentioning that his recent song is based on harmony and brotherhood, Hashmi said, “We all are Indus people (Indus Valley civilisation), people of the same blood, same genome. If one of us gets hurt, all of us feel the same pain. This song is my humble tribute to show our neighbours that we are there for them, that we care, that we will never leave them during hard times.”

He also added "I believe it is very easy to spread hatred, but to spread love, it surely takes a lot of effort, and I’m doing my bit through my music,”
"My little effort may be just a drop in the ocean, but I’m sure that one day, even this little drop will show us how to love each other, just like when we were together. May God bless us all and help us through these difficult times,” Hashmi stated.
Here's how the people on Twitter reacted to his video:
    Very nice !
Yet .. Honest measurs to build up faithful n credible bilateral relationship always lacked !
    ( India's #Bollywood always bn generous to several #Pakistani Artists n film actors )
Every time #India tried to bridge gaps .. got back stabbed later !
