The Indian Premier League match between Punjab Kings and Kolkata Knight Ridersturned out to be one low-scoring affair as KL Rahul’s side struggled remarkably to put up a decent total after losing the toss and being asked to bat first.
Problems began for the championship-less side from the beginning when the skipper and previous year’s orange cap winner just couldn’t maintain a high run-rate and gave up his wicket after facing 20 deliveries while scoring just 19 runs, albeit 14 of it came off boundaries.
    View this post on Instagram
After yet another slow start by Rahul and his opening partner Mayank Agarwal, then a sudden collapse of names like Chris Gayle, Deepak Hooda and Moises Henriques only added to PBKS’ batting woes with an impressive cameo by Chris Jordan, who struck 30 off 13 deliveries to ensure that his side goes above 100 runs at least.
Still, to give credit to the Punjab bowlers, Kolkata Knight Riders lost five wickets while chasing the below-average score. Shubman Gill early dismissal and Nitish Rana’s golden duck, followed by yet another duck by Sunil Narine made things interesting in the middle.
Full toss chipped to cover and Shahrukh Khan takes a blinder to dismiss Nitish Rana for a duck. First wicket down for Kolkata!#IPLWITHANISSAJAN #IPL2021 #cricktunplugged #VIVOIPL #PBKSvKKR #KKRvPBKS pic.twitter.com/0cqmTrGwox

However, a brilliant innings by KKR skipper Eoin Morgan, which was long overdue, brought home the season’s second overall victory for the two-time IPL champions while Rahul Tripathi’s sheer class at the number three spot held the fort during testing times.
Kolkata Knight Riders ended up defeating Punjab Kings by five wickets and had 20 deliveries to spare when Dinesh Karthik smashed a four against Arshdeep Singh to finish the match in fashion.

During the post-match conference, KL Rahul found himself to be running out of words to define what went wrong during the game and settled by calling it “just a poor performance”. So, the not-so-humble and disappointed fans of the Punjab squad decided to help him out a little.

They hopped on Twitter to help their captain with a script of all the possible things that he could say to make matters better.
    Aise nahi bolte. Say this

    We weren't professional enough
We deserved to lose. On to the next one.

As RCB fan, I am used to these lines from 2017-2019.

Your eyes are your window to the world and no matter how tough the times may get, we must never stop visualising the better times that lie ahead.
However, it’s now that our eyes need more attention. Long screen hours — work from home — during the day, constantly scrolling social media and resorting to late night binge watching to de-stress, puts undue stress on the eyes.
All this can lead to puffiness, dark circles, dryness, redness and if neglected can cause serious eye problems. But, incorporating a few everyday habits in your routine can to a large extent reduce the odds of eye problems.
Here are 6 effective ways to soothe the effects of all that unending screen time.
    1. Rose Water To Combat Dry & Sunken EyesBeing constantly glued to your computer and mobile screen can often cause your eyes to dry up, or feel itchy and watery. Best would be to get time off the screen every half an hour, and give your eyes rest for 1 minute.
Second best thing would be to put eye drops or use rose water as an alternative. Rose water is known for its cooling, balancing, and moisturizing properties. While regularly using rose water helps restore the pH balance of your skin, its rejuvenating factor also helps treat dry and sunken eyes.
Dip cotton pads in rose water and gently place them on your eyes for 10-15 minutes. Do this twice a week to breathe life into your sunken eyes.

    2. Tea Bags To Treat Eye BagsLong screen time can put unnecessary strain on your eyes and if ignored it can in the long run cause the skin around your eyes to darken and create eye bags.
Green tea is known for its innumerable anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits. While you may be considering different flavours of green tea to boost your immunity, you actually can also use the used tea bags under your eyes to help soothe dark circles and puffy eyes.
Put the used tea bags in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes, squeeze the extra liquid and apply to your under-eye area for 10-15 minutes for a calming effect. The anti-inflammatory effects help increase blood flow to your skin and press that refresh button.
Try this tropical potpourri of blends that boast of enriching flavours and the most exquisite aromas. Tastefully handpicked for your gut and your eyes.

    3. Massage Those Tired Eyes With A Night SerumIt’s no secret that night serums work wonders to replenish your skin’s moisture and texture.
A quick 5 minute massage on the inner edge of the eyes and around your eyes with a few drops of night serum can help relax your tired eyes. Massage also helps battle pigmentation and diffuse blood vessels for a brighter look.
Keep your eye skin fresh and youthful with this nutritive night serum which is made with Bakuchiol, a plant based retinol alternative that promotes cell turnover and collagen production.
    __ECOMPRODUCT__1447__
    4. Eye Cream To Reduce Puffiness Long screen time can cause fluids to collect under your eyes and result in puffiness and dark circles.
Using an under eye cream helps soothe puffiness and combats dark circles. Also, an under eye cream keeps the appearance of wrinkles and lines in check, and strengthens the thinner under eye skin.
Consider a cream that’s been made with a natural formula for best results.

    5. Back Support Pillow For A Goodnight’s SleepA goodnight’s sleep is directly proportional to your overall well-being.
While you must have tried different mattresses, eye masks, and positions to catch that beauty sleep, the secret to actually having one may lie in your back support pillow.
Try this revolutionary pillow that offers you the much needed elevated support for your body. The extra cushioning provides comfort to the back, neck and body while sleeping, resting, or even sitting. This pillow can reduce acid reflux and congestion in the mornings and effectively heal your aches and pains.

    6. Sleeping Mask For Maximum HydrationIn addition to the under eye cream and night serum, one must give their skin some extra TLC by occasionally putting a sleep mask provides an overnight boost of hydration and nourishment to your skin.
Try this natural formula of Haldi and Hyaluronic acid to fight dullness, retain the skin’s moisture and create a plumping effect.

The BottomlineWhile we are doing everything that it takes to ensure that our immunity and mental health is in check, giving enough rest to your eyes and providing it the extra TLC that it needs can boost your overall well-being.
Rest it out, and should you face any discomfort in your eyes, visit an eye care specialist and get an examination done. These small habits and a yearly eye examination go a long way in keeping your vision and eye health in check.

The second wave of coronavirus has struck India and the repercussions are already a lot worse than what it was back in 2020. On Sunday alone, over 3.5 lakh positive cases were reported from all over the country alongside 2800-plus deaths
Amid such adversities, one of the biggest points of attention has been the ongoing Indian Premier League which moved its bases from Mumbai and Chennai to Ahmedabad and Delhi for the second leg of the season.
" IPL will continue as per Schedule, no Plans to cut the Tournament as of now ".

    - BCCI Sources to Times Now.#WhistlePodu | @ChennaiIPL
    — CSK Fans Army™ (@CSKFansArmy) April 26, 2021
Even though the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has assured the players and the fans that the tournament will continue to move ahead as planned, many of the players who were supposed to stick around till the end have decided to exit due to personal reasons, family issues or the very justified fear of the pandemic outbreak in the country.
Amid all the chaos, the news of Australian star-pacer Pat Cummins donating $50,000 towards PM Cares to do his bit in India’s fight against the deadly virus emerged. Cummins wishes that this money be used "specifically to purchase oxygen supplies for India's hospitals".
    pic.twitter.com/2TPkMmdWDE
    — Pat Cummins (@patcummins30) April 26, 2021
"There has been quite a bit of discussion over here as to whether it is appropriate for the IPL to continue while COVID-19 infection rates remain high," Cummins wrote. "I'm advised that the Indian Government is of the view that playing the IPL while the population is in lockdown provides a few hours of joy and respite each day at an otherwise difficult time for the country."
"As players, we are privileged to have a platform that allows us to reach millions of people that we can use for good. With that in mind, I have made a contribution to the 'PM Cares Fund,' specifically to purchase oxygen supplies for India's hospitals."
Pat Cummins donates around 37 Lakhs to buy oxygen supplies for hospitals in India.
    — Mufaddal Vohra (@mufaddal_vohra) April 26, 2021
"I encourage my fellow IPL players - and anyone around else the world who has been touched by India's passion and generosity - to contribute. I will kick it off with $50,000," he wrote.
"At times like this it is easy to feel helpless. I've certainly felt that of late. But I hope by making this public appeal we can all channel our emotions into action that will bring light into people's lives.I know my donation isn't much in the grand scheme of things, but I hope it will make a difference to someone."
Looking at the contributions made by the Australians, people are upset at the captain of Team India, Virat Kohli, for not making any such donations. Many have evidently forgotten the kind of massive contribution Kohli and his wife, Anushka Sharma had made back in March 2020 for the very same cause.
Slow claps for @sachin_rt @imVkohli Am waiting for them to attack Cummins for “interference in India’s international affairs”. https://t.co/7tFVVMDmQF
    — Swati Chaturvedi (@bainjal) April 26, 2021Thankyou Patric Cummins,,, shoob Akhtar ne bhi help ke liye hath brahye,,,or apne @kohli @ipl all fam players Shame on you guy's,,,
    — Sanjeev @lovePBindia (@Sanjeev99324638) April 26, 2021Huge Respect for Pat Cummins that he came forward and donated $50,000 to PM Cares Fund which is around 14% of his annual salary.
Whereas our own Indian Cricketers like Virat Kohli whose annual income is 69.6 times & Rohit Sharma whose annual income is 46.24 times than Cummins. Js
    — Vikas Shrivastava (@Viklicks0007) April 26, 2021Pat cummins donate kar rhe wahi virat kohli vivo selfi le rhe hai

    150 crore lekar
    — Sahil Thakur ❣️❣️mumbai indians meri jaan (@SahilSinghGour) April 26, 2021According to a Mumbai Mirror report, the power couple had made a hefty Rs. 3 crore donation to the PM-Cases program after Prime Minister Narendra Modi had requested his countrymen to contribute towards the cause.

And more importantly, the trend of expecting celebrities to make a donation just because someone else did so also doesn’t make sense. It's donation, it's charity and those who wish to go ahead with it are encouraged and lauded for their generosity. However, if a person does not wish to do so, must not be slandered either.
