    There’s something about revenge plots and tales that keeps one on the edge till the end. The famous Mexican show on Netflix, Who Killed Sara has got so many people hooked and waiting for the second season to drop as we continue to guess what is Sara’s mysterious history and cause of death. If you were also recently hooked to it and want some more guess work added to life, then here are 7 revenge tales you can stream today:

    1. John Wick The Keanu Reeves starrer movie franchise is an action thriller series which shows the main character seeking vengeance for the damages caused to his life.


    2. Mirzapur One of the best Indian shows out there, this one charts out the trail of cold blooded vengeance between families and political parties.

    3. Aarya Watch Sushmita Sen’s brilliant portrayal of a woman who is out there to avenge the death of her husband and seek justice for the mess created by the people in her life as she is pushed into a drug cartel business after her husband is shot dead.

    4. V for Vendetta The name is self suggestive and in case you missed this wonderfully scripted political thriller that follows a freedom fighter named V who is trying to overthrow the government, then do yourself a favour and watch it today!

    5. House of Cards No spoilers here but simply put, this marvellous series follows a democrat who is appointed as secretary of state and is seeking revenge from all those who have betrayed him as he rose to supremacy.

    6. The Mentalist This story follows Patrick Jane, a con man turned psychic, who is helping the police catch killers after his own family is murdered.

    7. Revenge This American drama series follows a lady named Amanda who is out there to avenge the death of her father, who was caught for a crime he never committed.

    There is nothing more horrific than the current ongoing pandemic that the world is dealing with right now. The ‘new’ normal has enveloped us in some fearful dwelling of our own and our minds haven’t been on rest since last year. While binge-watching is actually something we can all put on our resume, the question is what you binge watch, and what food for the brain are you snacking on? I enjoy a good watch which rattles the brain and if you too want to skip the run-of-the-mill clichéd horror flicks on TV, then here are some intelligently made horror flicks which will force you to understand before getting scared:

    1. Ready Or NotThis American horror-comedy promises to keep you entertained till the end. Grace, a woman who is convinced that her dreams of marrying the love of her life are fulfilled, is in for a weird chase-and–run situation after she must hide from dusk till dawn from her new family who chase her to finish her.

    2. The Hole In The Ground This supernatural thriller tells the story of Sarah’s son, who disappears in the woods behind her house one night. After he returns, something eerie about him convinces her that perhaps it's not her son who returned.

    3. I Trapped The Devil Nothing like mixing the element of Satan with Christmas! This one tells the tale of a couple who visit the man’s brother for Christmas for a family reunion, but are surprised to see a hostage in the basement , who he claims is the devil himself.

    4. The Silence This is based on a dystopian theme where the world is under attack and a family is seeking refuge with their daughter who lost her hearing capacity when she was young. The twist in the tale happens when they meet a cult which is super interested in exploring the depth of the heightened senses and use it.

    5. Tigers Are Not Afraid The ‘horror’ in this movie is basically not a ghost shifting around  in corridors but the humans around us. This dark fairy tale narrates the story of a young girl who is abandoned by her mother and later joins a gang of street children who try to survive the violence of the big bad world around them.

    6. Girl On The Third Floor This might not be a huge commercial success, but for many, this was a great watch. This psychological horror film follows a man who is trying to renovate the mansion for his growing family, only to realise that the house has some plans of its own!

    In a historic achievement, the Indian Railways this week finished work on the arch closure of the world's highest railway bridge, the iconic Chenab Bridge. 
    The unique Arch Bridge, which rests above River Chenab, has been constructed by the Indian Railways as part of the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link (USBRL) project that will link the Kashmir valley to the rest of India.
    Considered an integral step in the completion of the 111km-long stretch from Katra to Banihal towns in the northern Jammu and Kashmir state, the finishing work on the steel arch is said to be one of the most difficult parts of the bridge.
    A moment of pride for 🇮🇳! The arch of Chenab bridge, connecting Kashmir to Kanyakumari has been completed.

    With an arch span of 467m, it is the world’s highest railway bridge.

    Here are some things you should know about the iconic bridge:
    THE BRIDGE IS EVEN HIGHER THAN PARIS' EIFFEL TOWER

    The bridge was constructed using 28,660 million tonnes of steel, with the alloy being specifically chosen to ensure that the railway project remained economical. 

    Other than that, the bridge was built using 10 lakh cubic metre of earthwork, 66,000 cubic metre of concrete, and 26 kilometers of motorable roads.
    The Arch of the bridge, which weighs around 10,619 million tonnes, comprises steel boxes that have been filled with concrete to improve stability. 
    THIS MAKES THE BRIDGE STURDY AS HELL:
    The use of steel and other components makes the bridge capable of withstanding high wind speed of up to 266 km/hour. 
    It has been designed for blast load in consultation with India's premier research agency, Defence Research, and Development Organisation (DRDO).

    When Bollywood celebrities ditch their formal exaggerated 'fits and choose laidback trends instead for their everyday outfits, that's when see how creative they get with their style without any external influence. We've seen that since the coronavirus pandemic has hit us, more celebrities have introduced breezy silhouettes in their everyday outfits. From comfy sneakers, to ripped jeans and graphic T-shirts, Indian celebrities' style has drastically changed in the last year.
    Saif Ali Khan is one such celebrity who has truly embraced the spirit of staying at home and is often seen in rad outfits whenever he steps out of the house. In fact, Saif Ali Khan's personal style is rather unhinged and doesn't usually get influenced by ongoing trends, fads, and weird aesthetics.
    In the pre-pandemic world, most actors were rarely seen repeating the same outfit, Saif Ali Khan does not abide to these unspoken conventions and instead makes his own rules when it comes to his style aesthetic. Case in point, all the times Saif was spotted in quirky pairs of shorts with espadrilles or laidback PJs.

    Abhishek Bachchan is gearing up for his upcoming movie, The Big Bull. The movie is about famous stockbroker Harshad Mehta, and how he planned the biggest scam in the history of India, in the stock market for over 10 years. Abhishek in the trailer is seen in quite a unique avatar, alongside Ileana D'cruz who plays the role of the journalist.

    Interestingly, the web series Scam 1993 is also based on the same story, starring Pratik Gandhi. The series received rave reviews and there's mounting pressure on Abhishek to match the level of expectations the series set for us.

     Aside from The Big Bull, Abhishek also gave some immaculate performances in Breathe, Sons Of Soil and LUDO. But for The Big Bull, the actor called it the biggest hurdle. He also mentioned in one of the interviews that he is now 'OTT Ka Bachchan'. He said "From digital to television to screen, there is going to have to be a variety on how you tell your stories. And there lays the biggest hurdle for Kookie (director Kookie Gulati) as he made this movie for the 70 mm screen and now because of the situation we were in and due to the pandemic, he had to now adapt his storytelling style to make it conducive to a digital streaming platform."

    Abhishek also said "He (Ajay Devgn) called me and said, 'I've heard the script, I'm going to be producing it, and I'd like for you to do it. And it was a 'yes' right there. I got lucky because he gave me such a fantastic film to do, such a great character to play. So thankfully, no auditioning, because I am terrible at auditioning. I'm pretty sure had I auditioned for the film, Kookie would have replaced me,"

    One of the most intriguing bit was when he mentioned as an actor he has to do a balancing act while playing a character and an efficient way to do is, to be honest. He said he 'doesn't want to try to colour the truth through a particular lens'.

    The new age of smartphones and social media applications has certainly helped bridge the gap between celebrities and their fans, especially at the time of the pandemic where people have barely had the chance of attending live shows, concerts, and other events. 

    International artists like Justin Bieber and co. usually do take time out of their schedule to interact with fans using Instagram Live or other social media apps. 
    There is no denying that just like millions of fans all over the world, celebrities do relish the interactions and the outpour of love through IG stories, posts, tweets, and other means. 
    However, while many fans keep getting updates regarding the lives of celebrities via their personal social media accounts, there is one large section of fans that have been restricted from that privilege, the BTS Army.

    K-pop artists, BTS, rank as one of the most popular and biggest boy bands in the world at the moment with millions of fans all across the world, who call themselves the BTS Army (Adorable Representative M.C. for Youth)

    Now, while the popular boy band may be one of the hottest things in the music world, none of the BTS members have any individual social media accounts on any platform. 
    Rather, they choose to operate one account on each social media platforms like Twitter, Instagram, and Weverse. 
    Well, the idea behind the choice was to let their fans find them in one single place, where they could hold interactions with all the band members.

    While we are sure that the fans still would not mind scouring through social media to get glimpses of each members' personal lives, the fact that BTS wanted things to be simple for their loving fans is surely another ‘aww’ moment.

    However, there still lie a few bizarre products in the market, at the sight of which most people across the world unite to have a similar stand. 
    The latest example of such an outlandish entry is the $39,000 (INR 28,61,235) worth airplane-shaped bag, which has been designed by the luxury fashion brand Louis Vuitton.

    The extravagant bag was presented at the beginning of the year during the Fall-Winter 2021 collection by American designer Virgil Abloh. 

    While the collection consisted of a range of clothing that symbolized masculine archetypes, Louis Vuitton's airplane-shaped bag was reported to be one of the most prominent items amongst the featured carrier bags. 
    According to reports, the bag is part of Abloh's new line that has been inspired by the tourist vs. purist archetypes.
    “A tourist is someone who’s eager to learn, who wants to see the Eiffel Tower when they come to Paris. The purist is the person who knows everything about everything.” said Abloh, while speaking to Vogue. 
    While it sure seems like an interesting concept based on which the carrier bag may have been designed, the staggering price of the luxury items surely had viewers in fits.
