You may recognise him as the massively popular Imaandar Sharma from his stint at TVF. But if you’ve followed his career closely, you’ll know that it was with Alpha Pandey that he truly came into his own. His journey has seen many milestones and many characters being added to his portfolio along the way ever since. The next, perhaps a major milestone, comes in the form of his show Pandeyji Zara Sambhalke.
    View this post on Instagram
The show is a love quadrangle consisting of Manish Pandey, his live-in girlfriend Deboshi, her childhood friend Ishita and fourth character Naresh. This love quadrangle leads to a funny turn of events, thanks to Pandeyji’s discomfort. We caught up with Satish recently, and he gave us five reasons to watch the show.

    1. Desi, Low-Hanging HumourSatish tells us the humour in the show is very massy and something that won’t require you to wrack your brains to understand. It is very clean and simple and straightforward, something you can watch with the family too.

    2. Prakash Jais, Veteran Bhojpuri Comedian“I had already seen his work in Bhojpuri cinema and had a fair idea of the talent he brought to the table,” says Ray when recollecting his experience of working with Prakash Jais. “His comic timing, his knack of improvisation and his acting prowess make it a must-watch for people who are unfamiliar with his brand of humour,” he adds.
View this post on Instagram3. Binge-worthyExplaining the pacing and the binge-worthiness of the show, Satish says, “There are certain shows that you take your own sweet time to watch.” He adds, “And then there are those that you just can’t stop watching, the kind that you can finish watching in a go in a day. This most definitely is the latter.” Given our packed routines, this certainly makes it one of the top reasons to watch the show.
View this post on Instagram4. It Has Satish Ray“A lot of people had this recurring question ‘When would they see me in a web series?’ Well, now they can,” says Satish. He goes on to add, “In sketches, people have only seen me unidimensionally, always being savage, in a funny avatar, but with the show, they get to see multiple facets to me. At times I’m confused, sometimes I’m angry, there’s of course humour as well, but it’s more than just that,” he adds.
View this post on Instagram5. It’s Free To StreamThe cherry on the cake is the fact that the show is now streaming on MX Player and is completely free to stream. I don’t know about you guys, but our weekend plans are sorted.

Ever since Bigg Boss 14, Aly Goni has dazzled us with his style superpowers. Just look at how he wore his Superdry neon chappals and then his Gucci tennis shoes and you would notice how flamboyant his sense of style is.
One thing that is certain after seeing his appearances is that he is into wearing exuberant outfits and knows how to make a statement in them. We are now used to seeing him consistently knocking it out of the park with his whimsical, kitschy clothing.

This time too, as he was seen with Jasmin Bhasin at Mumbai airport, he yet again pulled off yet another zany outfit with utmost panache. But what caught our attention was the bum bag that he coupled with his look. Check it out.

    © Burberry
Aly can be seen in Burberry's Bum Bag. It's a 1990's streetwear staple and comes with logo-tagged ECONYL, which is a sustainable nylon yarn made from regenerated fishing nets, fabric scraps and industrial plastic. Furthermore, it has leather accents and zip pockets for essentials.

The bag can be used as a crossbody bag by the strap or around the waist.
    © Burberry
It costs almost Rs 48,288. Considering that this is a bum bag, we think it's ridiculously expensive and not affordable for us.

    © Balenciaga
Coming to his sneakers, he is wearing Balenciaga's Speed Sneaker. These sneakers come in a sock-like design and eliminate the pressure of laces. This is made with a technical knit and ultra-flexible moulded sole unit. This is no-memory sole technology and the pair is extra-light. Furthermore, it has embossed Balenciaga on the back of the sole.

As for the price, these speed sneakers are worth almost Rs 70,624. These are Balenciaga's best selling shoes, as we have seen many celebrities wearing these sneakers.
    © Viral Bhayani
As for the other details of his outfit, we like how he has opted for a monochrome look here. The Gucci jacket is layered over a black T-shirt and he has coupled it with black pants. The bum bag and the sneakers here give the whole look a new edge.

In all, we think this is a really cool outfit and it's clear that even Aly has quite an expensive taste. Hats off!

Apple has finally opened up its walled garden to third-party companies as users will now be able to track lost items via the Find My tracking network. Now, any hardware company can add software support for Apple’s local network ability to find lost items. These third-party products need to follow Apple’s Made for iPhone (MFi) accessory rules.
    © Apple
Apple announced three third-party products can now be tracked starting today including X3 e-bikes, Belkin’s SoundForm Freedom TWS earbuds and the Chipolo One Spot tracking tag. These products can now use Apple’s Bluetooth network which included millions of iPhones, iPad and Mac devices to be discoverable in the Find My app.

“The Find My app on iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Mac makes it easy to locate missing Apple devices, as well as keep up with friends and family, all while protecting user privacy. If a user ever loses their Apple device, the Find My app allows them to locate it on a map, play a sound to pinpoint its location, put it in Lost Mode to lock it immediately, and display a message with a contact number; it also lets them remotely erase the device in case it has fallen into the wrong hands” Apple said in a press release.
Users will now be able to track these products from the Find My app starting today and can track these items much like how users would track any missing Apple product. Future products that want to be discoverable in the Find My app will have to go through the company’s MFi program for authorised accessories and “adhere to all the privacy protections of the Find My network that Apple customers rely on.”
    © Apple
Apple will also be offering a chipset specification to third-party companies who can embed these chips into their products. These chips will enable items to integrate with the iPhone’s Ultra-Wideband system for more precise tracking in the future. Apple has also been long rumoured to be working on its own tracking device called the AirTags that would work on the Ultra-Wideband.

As India suffers a second wave of the coronavirus pandemic with a mutated version of the original virus with a significantly higher rate of spreading, the plan prepared by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to hold the Indian Premier League on home soil, becomes more and more difficult to execute.
Mumbai, which is one of the six major locations for the 2021 edition of the Indian T20 league, remains one of the worst-hit cities in the country to be affected by the new strain and has become a big cause of worry for those who live around the iconic Wankhede cricket stadium, especially as the tournament begins in a couple of days.
Some residents near the Wankhede Stadium request CM Uddhav Thackeray to shift IPL matches from the iconic venue.

Remains to be seen whether there would be any response from the state government on this.#IPL2021 https://t.co/0VuglfhGpa
    — Subhayan Chakraborty (@CricSubhayan) April 5, 2021
While the rules established by the BCCI do not allow any spectators inside the stadium when the matches are taking place, there is no rule stopping the fans from crowding in front of the stadium, just to steal a glimpse of some of the most favourite cricketers as they make their way to the matches.
The potential of hundreds of people getting together in one such small location, therefore, becomes a major reason of concern for the residents around the stadium. According to media reports, residents have also written mails to Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray to consider moving the IPL matches away from Mumbai and asking the BCCI to use one of their backup facilities for the same.
Excerpts from new Covid-19 restrictions by Government of Maharashtra @OfficeofUT @AUThackeray. While we know Mr. Jay Shah / @IPL is above all, atleast come up with corrigendum declaring Wankhede/Brabourne not to be treated as Sports Complex. Junta deserves optical "transparency" pic.twitter.com/kzmJOjbcVk
    — Nikhil Somani (@NIKHILSO) April 8, 2021
On April 2, a resident of D Road which is right next to the Wankhede stadium wrote to the CM: “The state government is compelled to restrict religious and other social activities like marriages, deaths etc. and contrary to this, in these difficult times, IPL cricket matches of such magnitude lasting over several days is permitted.”
“Every year during the matches, there are parking restrictions, which make it difficult for the senior residents and is unacceptable in these times of Covid,” wrote another resident.

Ironically, the inaugural match of the season is scheduled to take place at Wankhede between Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings and Rishabh Pant’s Delhi Capitals. The two franchises have been at the venue for about a week and have been visiting the stadium for practice, rather regularly.

Ever wondered what a hair transplant procedure looks like? How much it would cost? More importantly, do celebrities get it?

You've come to the right place. We're here to answer all your questions in order to demystify hair transplants.
    © iStock
    1. What is the right age to start looking out for hair transplant treatments? The person should be an adult and preferably over 20 years of age. Even if he is of this young age, he should be counselled thoroughly, especially if he has a family history of baldness. Every individual has limited donor area grafts that can be used. Besides, as age progresses, the bald patches might increase, despite medicines, and one should be aware and prepared for what the future may hold for them. Ideally, any person above 25 years of age is a more preferred candidate.

    3. What are the pre-requisites to be eligible for a hair transplant surgery? As mentioned earlier, the person should be of sound physical and mental health. If suffering from any chronic ailment, he should obtain a no-objection certificate from his treating doctor to undergo a procedure under local anaesthesia. The most important aspect, of course, is that he should have a good donor required to cover the recipient area.

People love Anushka Sharma and she is one of the most admired celebrities in the industry. She is loved for being herself and also for her opinions. However, in 2014 her pout that was noticed by the audience put her under tremendous scrutiny.
Fans first noticed her lip job when she appeared on filmmaker Karan Johar’s chat show, Koffee With Karan. She was trolled badly for her enhanced lip. In 2016, in an interview with Vogue magazine, she accepted that she had gotten a lip job done.

She said, "I have nothing to hide. So when I spoke about my lip job, a lot of people called me brave for coming out. But I did what I had to for my role in Bombay Velvet. I’m not going to lie and say I didn’t; I had to take ownership. I wanted fans to know that I’m human and not perfect.”

However, in the year 2014, she had said that she was using a temporary lip enhancing tool.

If you are a fan of the Indian cricket team from the era of Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly, you know that you didn’t like Ricky Ponting. You must have had a lot of respect for the guy for everything he had achieved as the captain of the Australian side but you didn’t like him.
But ever since the Launceston-born transitioned into the role of a coach, especially with the Delhi Capitals, the parameters for disliking him are quickly fading away too.
    View this post on Instagram
With just a couple of days left for the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League to start, Ponting’s badass speech to motivate his squad for the season was shared by the official Twitter handle of Star Sports and what the former Aussie skipper said in the 4:20 video has left the fans in goosebumps.
    Attitude, Effort, Commitment. Care.

If you're looking for some motivation and inspiration - we HIGHLY recommend @RickyPonting's first speech of the season to his @DelhiCapitals side! #VIVOIPL #IndiaKaApnaMantrapic.twitter.com/6YR13pagZm
    — Star Sports (@StarSportsIndia) April 8, 2021
“Some things about me, right, that some of you guys, don’t know about me, right? 46 years of age, married, three kids from Melbourne. I have been in Delhi for three years. First year I was here, we finished last. Two years ago we finished third. Last year we finished second. This is a different Delhi than it was years ago,” he says at the beginning of his speech. Ponting then goes on to list out three major reasons why a player won’t play for a team he coaches.
    1. Lack Of Right Attitude:
“I can see it, right? I sit back and watch and I observe. I can see who has got the right attitude and who hasn’t. If you haven’t got the right attitude, you don’t play… simple as that.”
    2. Lack Of Effort:
“If the effort’s not there… you turn up any day to train and there’s not a 100% effort there, same thing. You don’t play.”
    3. Lack Of Commitment To The Team:
“If you don’t commit to what we’re committing as a group, and commit to what you are trying to get out of every session, I can see it. You don’t play.”
“There have been good seasons, yes. There haven’t been great seasons because we haven’t won it yet, right? We are all about winning,” says the DC coach.
Here’s how some of the fans reacted to Ponting’s speech:
Goosebumps. This is the right attitude of a coach. Winning every match and forgetting what happened in the past and looking forward to the next matches. @BCCI needs someone like @RickyPonting as a next coach.
    — Pranav (@bhosalepranav21) April 8, 2021Not a huge fan pointing BCS of his past behaviour .but ohh boy this man is a bad ass knows how to win ..His relentless desire to succeed is really infectious..Bring pointing and virat together, either they will broke the team or they will make a unbearable team ...

The GPU market has seen shortages like never before and it extends to almost every kind of semiconductor that we know today. Shortages have caused problems for customers and businesses all over the world which prompted a smuggler to transport 300 GPUs to Hong Kong. The Chinese smugglers were not caught by the Hong Kong Customs and Excise Department after a high-speed boat chase.
    © TVB News Channel
The smugglers were transportinging up to 300 Nvidia CMP 30HX graphics cards used for cryptocurrency mining. The Hong Kong authorities chased the group of smugglers although the smugglers got away. However, the boat that was carrying the goods did not and was found transporting other goods such as exotic foods, skincare products, and smartphones.

The CMP 30HX is the lowest range of GPUs that have an advertised Ethereum hash rate of 26 MH/s. The GPU costs about $723 which puts the entire shipment’s worth at $219,600. However, it is worth pointing out that the GTX 980 and GTX 1660 both offer a higher hash rate for Ethereum and cost about the same. The cards in question should actually not cost as much but due to chip shortages, it is selling well above its retail price.
    © TVB News Channel
This particular model was being smuggled for one purpose, potentially cryptocurrency mining in Hong Kong, as the GPU isn’t really ideal for gamers. Since the GPU does not have any video output, it is meant for the miners. With the chip shortages and GPU demand at an all-time high, it isn’t surprising to see smugglers trying to make an extra buck with cryptocurrency-centric GPUs.

GPUs weren’t the only thing being smuggled from the world of technology. Hong Kong officials also seized several kits of system RAM, since chip shortages will also cause DRAM prices to increase very soon.

In an incredible episode of bravery, a Sikh commando who took a bullet while fighting Naxals in last week’s encounter in Chhattisgarh used his own turban to stop the bleeding of his fellow soldier in the battle.

In South Asian culture, the turban was adopted by Sikh Gurus in order to remind Sikhs that all humans were royal, sovereign and equal.
It is considered extremely important to the Sikh identity, with both men and women wearing it as part of religious observance.
However, that did not stop Constable Balraj Singh of CRPF’s elite Commando Battalion for resolute Action (CoBRA), from taking it off to tie it around the injured leg of his fellow soldier Sub Inspector Abhishek Pandey.
Saturday’s (April 3) encounter between Naxals and security personnel along the Sukma-Bijapur border in Chhattisgarh claimed the lives of at least 22 soldiers, with injuries to around 31.
With medics already attending to so many wounded, Singh said he was left with no choice but to stop Pandey’s bleeding by use of some other means.
"Our first-aid man was busy, he was attending to the Special Task Force personnel. At that time our sub-inspector sir (Abhishek Pandey) was wounded from the splinters of a grenade. He was bleeding profusely; I took off my turban and tied it around his wound.” Singh told NDTV.
His timely action saved Pandey’s life and made sure that both soldiers are now recovering from injuries in the hospital.
Soon after the incident, Singh was honoured with a special turban by Special DGP Rajinder Kumar Vij for his bravery on the battlefield.
“I felt honoured to present this turban to Cobra commando Balraj Singh who untied his own to save his fellow soldier’s life. He was so delighted to receive this and immediately asked his attender to take a snap. A few happy moments in tough times.”
“My salute to the spirit of the Sikh jawan,” wrote Vij on Twitter.

A recent study conducted by Harvard University which was shared by the Uttar Pradesh government said that the Yogi Adityanath government handled the migrant crisis cleverly. It also said that even when the global pandemic took a significant toll on people globally, the Yoginath government handled it with grace.

According to Times Now, an official spokesman said that a study conducted by Harvard University highlighted the humanitarian crisis of migrant laborers that shed light on how effectively and efficiently the state government handled the migrant crisis.
    © BCCL
The Harvard report elaborated on how the Yogi government ‘model’ took care of migrants through a combined mechanism of prevention from a pandemic, sustenance of their families, employment arrangements along skill mapping and other logistics.

Here’s what people on the internet have to say about this-
Nothing happens without a quid pro quo when ‘big’ names like Harvard are involved..
    — Oceanic! (@OshoGopi) April 8, 2021Lmao. They’re praising him because he unknowingly allowed them to steal personal data from millions of people. Which would give them a chance to analyse, study and attack India even more effectively.
    — Millennial Baba (@BabaMillennial) April 8, 2021As if we care what Harvard says. Country has stopped running on some else’s approval or so called research long time ago we do what’s good for everyone and by law, as simple as that
    — Vikram (@vikramrai_10) April 8, 2021Great acknowledgement by @Harvard for @myogiadityanath ji for his commitment for the Humanity. — Silicon Raja (@siliconraja) April 7, 2021If it's a Harvard study then China likes yogiji too
    — OmShantiOm11🇮🇳 (@OmShantiSanghi) April 8, 2021The state government had formulated a plan to ensure the proper and safe return of migrants and also focused on creating employment opportunities for them.
The study said, “The state government, in consonance with the Central government, took a holistic approach towards addressing the crisis.”
Also, apart from providing buses and train services for stranded migrants, the state government also provided facilities for state travel.
The state government collaborated with the Indian railways and arranged over 1604 trains and brought back over 21 lakh migrants through shramik trains.
This was almost 80 percent of the total migrants who returned to the state.
What do you think of this feat? Let us know in the comments below.
