Farhan Akhtar is one of the few people in Bollywood who never fail to experiment and win at it. At a young age he took up the daring job of directing his debut venture Dil Chahta hai, when no one was even ready for the progressive tale that he narrated through this brilliant movie. Then came Rock On, which was a super hit in its own accord. Farhan has dabbled the art of direction, production, singing and lately acting, with pure finesse. So it comes as no surprise when we found out that he was secretly shooting for a Marvel project.

    View this post on Instagram
Not much is known about this ‘secret’ project except the fact that the actor is currently busy wrapping up his shoot in Bangkok. As per reports, “Farhan is currently stationed in Bangkok, along with an International cast and crew, for the shoot of a project with Marvel Studios, who are known to be one of the biggest film studios worldwide.''
Marvel is a name which is synonymous with all things grand and magnanimous so it is obvious that Farhan’s association with the studios will also be an exciting one. It won't hurt to play guesses and wonder what he might be working on. Watching him save the planet as a superhero, a big time programmer joining forces to save the world with technology, a cool singer who plays his music in the day and kills enemies in the night, the opportunities and thoughts are plenty.
On the work front, he was last seen in The Sky Is Pink opposite Priyanka Chopra and his next will be a venture with Rakeysh Om Prakash Mehra opposite Mrunal Thakur. Titled Toofan, the movie will see Farhan play a boxer. This one has got us pretty excited now!

Recently, the internet went into a frenzy when it learnt that Kartik Aaryan took delivery of his brand new Lamborghini Urus. It is not every day that we get to see a Bollywood star or anyone for that matter splurge their hard-earned money on something so exotic.
    © Viral Bhayani
While we know everything about the car at this point, starting from its top speed to the fact that Kartik spent Rs 4.5 Crores on it, there are a few things that are quite unbelievable about the entire incident.
    © Instagram/kartik_aaryan_fansclub
Here are a few mind-boggling things that Kartik did to take ownership of his new Lamborghini Urus.

    Went For The Top Model
    View this post on Instagram
While this may not seem to be that bonkers, given that this is India, where roads aren’t always nice to drive on, especially in a city like Mumbai, Kartik went for the top model of the Urus. He could have easily gotten away with the base model, which would have been just as cool, and a lot cheaper.

Took Delivery Right After His Covid Recovery
    © Instagram/kartik_aaryan_fansclub
Kartik booked and took delivery of his Urus right after recovering from Covid. Kartik tested positive, right after walking the ramp for Manish Malhotra at the recently concluded FDCI X Lakme Fashion Week.

    Went For An Unusual Colour
    © Viral Bhayani
On the surface, Kartik’s Urus looks like a regular black SUV. However, the colour that he went for, or rather the shade of black that he went for is a bit unusual. It is the Nero Noctis black, a shade of black that is glossier, and more glowing than the regular metallic black that the standard car comes in. Also, most others Urus owners in India, have opted for the yellow, the orange, the purple or the black metallic colour.

Paid Rs 50 Lakhs To Skip The Waiting Time & Airlift The Car
    View this post on Instagram
A notable automotive news portal has reported that Kartik apparently paid Lamborghini India Rs 50 Lakhs more to skip the customary 3-months waiting period, and get express delivery, by airlifting the car to India, from Italy. This actually makes sense, mathematically. The top-end Urus has an on-road price of Rs 4.03 Crores. Add to that the Rs 50 Lakhs he paid for his car, and the total comes out to be Rs 4.53 Crores.
    Went For Red Interiors
    © Viral Bhayani
Finally, one of the most bonkers things that Kartik has done for his Urus, is to go for an interior that is completely red. A black and red combo looks phenomenally well, especially in a car that looks as aggressive and sporty as the Urus.

    The Bottomline…
Kartik for sure has an awesome taste when it comes to cars. First a tasteful-looking BMW, then a Green-coloured Mini Cooper, and now, a Nero Noctis Lamborghini Urus. It will be really interesting to see how he builds up his garage, and which car he adds to it next.

Superman, the Man of Steel, is considered to be one of the most influential superheroes in the comic book world as well as in cinema, so it is no surprise that the rare copy of the first comic featuring the vigilante got sold for a record $3.2 million or Rs 23.8 Crore.

The news of the record sale was announced by ComicConnect.com, an online auction and consignment company based in New York.
Superman comic sold for $3.25 million https://t.co/9EPh9WX5WS pic.twitter.com/NYicYQKbuO
    — Newsmax (@newsmax) April 8, 2021
"The issue of Action Comics #1 went for $3.25 million in a private sale," said Comic Connect in a statement.
Created by writer Jerry Siegel and artist Joe Shuster, Superman made his first appearance in the Action Comics #1, which was published on April 18, 1938.
The comic book includes the story of Superman's origins and his journey from being the lone survivor of his deceased planet, Krypton, to becoming Earth's greatest superhero.
"(It) really is the beginning of the superhero genre", said ComicConnect.com co-owner, Vincent Zurzolo, who brokered the sale.
Since the publishing of the rare comic back in the 1930s, the much-loved character has been adapted to movies, TV shows, radio serials, novels, and theatre.
As per reports, only around 100 copies of the Superman number 1 issue are in existence all over the world.
    © ComicConnect
Hollywood actor Nicholas Cage also once owned a copy of this rare comic, which, according to Zurzolo, is found in varying conditions with different owners.

However, Zurzolo says that the recently sold copy is amongst the best-kept copies of the original comic.
“There’s no comic book that you could value higher in terms of a comic book than Action Comics #1,” he said.
According to the statement of ComicConnect.com, the comic book had been "buried in a stack of old 1930s movie magazines" and in mint condition.
The seller had bought the comic book back in 2018 for slightly more than $2 million.
"The seller made a $1m profit on the comic after owning it for just three years. The anonymous buyer is relatively new to comic investing," said the ComicConnect.com statement.

With work from home gradually becoming the new normal, everyone seems to be glued to social media these days. With rising cases of COVID-19 in our country, we are heavily dependent on social media for leisure. In a surprising bit of development, actor Amit Sadh has now bid farewell to social media and said that he would be inactive, as mentioned in a long note shared by him.
He said that he won't be posting his pictures and videos as the country is going through a difficult time dealing with the novel coronavirus pandemic. He wrote, "I AM GOING OFFLINE. The recent events have made me reflect on whether I should be posting my pictures and reels. Especially when my city Mumbai and the entire state is under strict COVID restrictions, the whole country is going through a difficult time. I believe my posts and reels of the gym sessions, the silly things that I do will not heal or entertain anyone. This is not a criticism to anyone. I personally feel the best way to be sensitive about the situation is to pray and hope for things to get better (sic)."
The actor added, "Reach out to people who make very few salaries, who have two 0s or three 0s in their salary, help the daily wage earners because they suffer the most. Life must go on even though I feel burdened. I am disheartened when we do not acknowledge the seriousness and do not address it. We cannot behave that everything is okay; this is a pandemic. I will continue to do what is expected of me, wear a mask, maintain a social distance of 6 feet, step out when necessary, follow protocols and rules. I am going to be vigilant, and I urge you all to do the same. I hope things get better to a point where I can start being goofy and silly again (sic)."

After his note started to get traction, people appreciated his empathetic nature and tagged him as a true gentleman.

Since people mentioned that they will be missing his posts, he responded by stating the fact that he wasn’t abandoning them.

He wrote, "A special note for my fans, I am not abandoning you guys; you all know I will never do it. When a need for conversation arises, reach out to me on my dm like you all usually do. I am here but will not be posting quotes, pictures, or reels. I personally feel this is not the time for me to show my privileged life. You guys mean the world to me. My humble request to all who are reading this let's not be careless; listen to the authorities, listen to the science, watch out for each other. Take care of each other. If you have some extra cash stashed in your account, share it with the needy. Pay the salaries on time. Nothing is going to make sense if India continues to stay in despair and collapses. Be well, Be safe (sic)."
He genuinely is a true gentleman.

Joaquin Phoenix was widely praised for his incredible portrayal of Arthur Fleck, who transforms into the Joker in the DC film.  Arthur Fleck's slow and gradual descent into complete madness as he embraces the darkness within him is what Joker is all about. People called it a masterpiece when it hit the theatres in 2019.
For the 44-year-old actor, it wasn't an easy task to lose 23.5kgs for the role. At a press conference, he'd said, “The first thing was the weight loss, that's really what I started with. As it turns out, that impacts your psychology, and you really start to go mad when you lose that much weight in that amount of time."

The character of Joaquin Phoenix became so famous that people started making videos dressed up like him. It’s been two years since the film released but people are still crazy about the movie.
Recently, Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra used an app to digitally stitch his face onto the body of Hollywood star Joaquin Phoenix. Raj took to Instagram to share a new deepfake video, in which he inserted himself into scenes from Joker. Sharing the video, Kundra captioned the post with Joker's popular dialogue, "They laugh at me because I am different. I laugh at them because they are all the same."
    Here’s the video:

We think you would agree with the fact that he does look convincing as Arthur in the clip.
Kundra is not the only one to copy Joaquin Phoenix's Joker. Earlier, actor Ayushmann Khurrana shared a fan art that made him look like Arthur. Sharing the artwork on social media, Khurrana wrote, "Do I really look like a guy with a plan? You know what I am? I’m a dog chasing cars. I wouldn’t know what to do with one if I caught it ... I’m an Agent of Chaos!” - Sinister, menacing, evil, cold, conniving yet brilliant, genius - have always thought of playing a negative character like Joker. Thank you @swapnilmpawar for reading my mind and this incredible artwork!"

In today's edition of ‘Zindagi Ho Toh Aisi’, a San Francisco job posting for a team of nannies is offering a salary of over 74 lakhs to each nanny per annum. The team consists of three caregivers for the family’s two children. Yes, you read that right!

The posting was made on the job platform Indeed by a private staffing firm Louer and according to its website, the caregiver will be eligible to use family offices, residences, yachts, and planes.
The job posting went viral on the internet after people pointed out its Mary Poppins-like job requirements and incredible pay. The posting has now been closed on the job finding portal.

The family for whom the company was seeking nannies remains unknown. It was noted that the family is spending more than $300,000 on private childcare which was a huge amount even for people living in the Bay Area.

The Bold Italic reported saying, “Don’t get us wrong, people who watch and teach children for a living deserve that much money (hello, teachers), but the fact that they are spending upwards of $300,000 on private childcare blew our minds.”
According to the listing, the family was looking for a 'professional, experienced and educated full-time nanny'  for their toddler and little baby. Sounds shocking, right? Yeah, we get it!

The listing read, “Schedule will be split between three full-time nannies to ensure the family has seven days per week coverage.”

Also, the nanny will be living in the residence and so should be comfortable working many days consecutively.
Not only this, but the applicants were also required to sign a confidentiality agreement about their employment.

India is currently the fastest-growing region for mobile games and other kinds of Apps according to a report on the global app economy by Facebook and statistics firm Adjust. The report has ranked countries based on their “growth score,” a type of metric that shows how rapidly a country is growing in terms of games and app downloads relative to the number of smartphone users in the country.
    © Facebook_Adjust
The report has come to this conclusion based on data from 25,000 apps released on the iOS App Store and Play Store in 2019 and 2020. The report ranked nearly 250 countries across various verticals such as education and digital payments amongst others. The growth score is determined by dividing the total app install per month by the number of monthly active users in each country.

    © Facebook_Adjust
In India, educational and banking apps have seen the fastest growth in the country, however when it comes to gaming, India tops the charts as the fastest-growing app market. The country has over 700 million unique mobile phone subscribers which makes it one of the most bullish markets for mobile games' growth. Gaming apps as a whole, continue to be the highest-ranking vertical globally when it comes to growth score. That’s due to various types of games available on each app store with simplistic and satisfying mechanics.

    © MensXP
It’s truly impressive to see India’s Growth Score according to the report even though the Indian mobile gaming industry has seen controversial events such as the banning of PUBG mobile in India. Having said that, India is still a massive market for hypercasual games that make up quite a bit of the market share. “India has jumped from the middle of our growth table in 2019 to take the spot as the fastest-growing region in the world,” the report said.

In an incident that would make Pablo Escobar turn in his grave and facepalm himself unbelievably hard, Jammu & Kashmir police recovered an insane number of bottles of cough syrup, hidden in a tunnel.
    © ANI
A police party in Tulkhan village apprehended two people after stopping and searching them on a routine drive. The reason? Both of them were carrying 15 bottles of prescription-strength cough syrup between the two of them, with no legitimate cause.

Police party at Tulkhan crossing apprehended two persons in possession of 15 Codeine bottles. Interrogation led to the search at a location in Tulkhan Bijbehara (Anantnag district from where 1715 bottles of Codeine were recovered: Jammu and Kashmir Police pic.twitter.com/gNs8zebCuS
    — ANI (@ANI April 7, 2021
For people who have been living under a rock all these years full strengthened cough syrup, also known as codeine, is highly addictive, and highly intoxicating, and is often used as a substitute for drugs and alcohol. Consuming high dosages of codeine concentrate leads to a solid high, that often lasts for hours.

That is the reason why most over the counter cough syrups are diluted by pharmaceutical companies. This is also the reason why pharmaceutical companies warn against driving or operating heavy machinery after having regular dosage of cough syrup.
Upon interrogating the two apprehended men, Jammu & Kashmir Police were led to a rudimentarily made tunnel in Tulkhan Bijbehara, from where they recovered 1715 bottles of prescription-strength bottles.

On one hand, we have a city like Mumbai, which has been dubbed as the drug capital of India by the NCB, and then, on the other, we have the district of Anantnag in Jammu & Kashmir, which has to depend on cough syrup, to get their buzz on. ‘Saste Nashe’ indeed.

All jokes aside, Anantnag has been infamous for being a district where drug trafficking is rampant. Local newspapers often run reports of police seizing unbelievable quantities of narcotics.
Upon reading this people on Twitter, had some hilarious reactions.

Suniel Shetty's son, Ahan Shetty doesn't make a lot of appearances but when he does, he never fails to catch our attention. So much sometimes that he ends up giving his father a run for his money, with his style statement. There was a time when the future star kid, was seen carrying one of the most expensive backpacks from Louis Vuitton which looked quite edgy in our opinion.
    © Viral Bhayani
    © Viral Bhayani
Spotted yet again in an uber-cool outfit, Ahan was seen at Mumbai airport. The look had interesting details though including the same backpack. But, his sneakers were quite something and amplified his overall look instantly, with its modern construction. Take a look.

Before we talk about the sneakers, take a look at his outfit.
    © Viral Bhayani
Ahan made an easy statement with his zippered style plaid shirt. If you are looking for something sartorially advanced, this one is the way to go. The pattern is sitting perfectly with his black pants. We also like the way he has layered the shirt over a white T-shirt. Overall, the ensemble is a go-to for impending summer days.

    © Balenciaga
Coming to the sneakers, these are Balenciaga's Speed Sneakers. These come with a sock-like design, and technical 3D knit. There is a white black contrasted sole and ergonomic sole with no memory technology.

    © Balenciaga
These sneakers are easy to put on, as they steer clear of laces and have a hyper-sleek silhouette. These shoes started as an unusual breed style of shoes, with stretch-knit and breathable fabric, that actually resembled an actual sock but were an answer to many people's footwear woes.

The sneakers no doubt scream fashion but the price will certainly set you back. The pair is worth almost Rs 59,417. This doesn't include the extra customs and import duties levied on these shoes. At a fraction of this price, we would be able to get a pair almost similar to this one from Palika. But to be honest, nothing can beat Balenciaga's original aesthetics.
    © Viral Bhayani
The outfit is easy, minimal and seems to be working well for Ahan. The Louis Vuitton backpack and Balenciaga sneakers added a dash of nonchalance to his look. Seriously, Mr Shetty would be proud. Way to go, Ahan!
