Job Posting Offers Over Rs 74 Lakh For Nanny To Take Care Of 2 Children & Why Are We Even Working

In today's edition of ‘Zindagi Ho Toh Aisi’, a San Francisco job posting for a team of nannies is offering a salary of over 74 lakhs to each nanny per annum. The team consists of three caregivers for the family’s two children. Yes, you read that right!

The posting was made on the job platform Indeed by a private staffing firm Louer and according to its website, the caregiver will be eligible to use family offices, residences, yachts, and planes.

The job posting went viral on the internet after people pointed out its Mary Poppins-like job requirements and incredible pay. The posting has now been closed on the job finding portal.

The family for whom the company was seeking nannies remains unknown. It was noted that the family is spending more than $300,000 on private childcare which was a huge amount even for people living in the Bay Area.

The Bold Italic reported saying, “Don’t get us wrong, people who watch and teach children for a living deserve that much money (hello, teachers), but the fact that they are spending upwards of $300,000 on private childcare blew our minds.”

According to the listing, the family was looking for a 'professional, experienced and educated full-time nanny'  for their toddler and little baby. Sounds shocking, right? Yeah, we get it!

The listing read, “Schedule will be split between three full-time nannies to ensure the family has seven days per week coverage.”

Also, the nanny will be living in the residence and so should be comfortable working many days consecutively.

Not only this, but the applicants were also required to sign a confidentiality agreement about their employment.
