Raj Kundra Turns Himself Into Joaquin Phoenix's Joker In Deepfake Video & He Looks Convincing

Joaquin Phoenix was widely praised for his incredible portrayal of Arthur Fleck, who transforms into the Joker in the DC film.Β  Arthur Fleck's slow and gradual descent into complete madness as he embraces the darkness within him is what Joker is all about. People called it a masterpiece when it hit the theatres in 2019.

For the 44-year-old actor, it wasn't an easy task to lose 23.5kgs for the role. At a press conference, he'd said, β€œThe first thing was the weight loss, that's really what I started with. As it turns out, that impacts your psychology, and you really start to go mad when you lose that much weight in that amount of time."Β

The character of Joaquin Phoenix became so famous that people started making videos dressed up like him. It’s been two years since the film released but people are still crazy about the movie.

Recently, Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra used an app to digitally stitch his face onto the body of Hollywood star Joaquin Phoenix. Raj took to Instagram to share a new deepfake video, in which he inserted himself into scenes from Joker. Sharing the video, Kundra captioned the post with Joker's popular dialogue, "They laugh at me because I am different. I laugh at them because they are all the same."Β

Here’s the video:

We think you would agree with the fact that he does look convincing as Arthur in the clip.

Kundra is not the only one to copy Joaquin Phoenix's Joker. Earlier, actor Ayushmann Khurrana shared a fan art that made him look like Arthur. Sharing the artwork on social media, Khurrana wrote, "Do I really look like a guy with a plan? You know what I am? I’m a dog chasing cars. I wouldn’t know what to do with one if I caught it ... I’m an Agent of Chaos!” - Sinister, menacing, evil, cold, conniving yet brilliant, genius - have always thought of playing a negative character like Joker. Thank you @swapnilmpawar for reading my mind and this incredible artwork!"
