If Virat Kohli is deemed the batting maestro, then Ravichandran Ashwin is arguably the spin wizard for the Indian team. What the Indian Test skipper has been doing with the bat, Ashwin seems to be doing with the ball in his hand.

The right-arm offie has witnessed a meteoric rise in the past couple of years with the opposition batsmen facing the heat. His carrom ball, an arm ball just as good, his control over his offbreaks, and a sharp mind has made Ashwin a quintessential spinner for his side.

Following in the footsteps of his captain who etched his name in the history books after his record double hundred against Bangladesh, Ashwin continued to topple records as he became the fastest bowler to reach 250 wickets during the ongoing Test in Hyderabad.

The 30-year-old was once again at his prolific best on Day 4 as he reached the milestone after claiming the wicket of Bangladesh skipper Mushfiqur Rahim. In the process, he pipped Dennis Lillee's record by taking just 45 matches to achieve the feat - three matches quicker than the Australian legend.

Ashwin had a record-breaking last year for India as he picked up 72 wickets in 12 Test matches to finish as the highest wicket-taker in the world for the second consecutive year.
Least balls to take 250 wickets in Tests among spinners:

    15964 S Warne#IndvBan
    — Umang Pabari (@UPStatsman) February 12, 2017
During the first Test against New Zealand in September 2016, Ashwin surpassed the likes of Waqar Younis and Lillee to become the second-fastest bowler to notch up 200 scalps in the longer version of the game. Ashwin achieved the milestone in his 37th Test match, bettering Waqar and Lillee, who both took 38 Tests.
Fastest to 250 Test wickets (in terms of matches)
    45 - Ravichandran Ashwin
    48 - Dennis Lillee
    49 - Dale Steyn
    50 - Allan Donald #IndvBan

An opener with the bat before taking up spin bowling, Ashwin has also proved to be a potent batsman lower-down the order for India. With a sound technique and plenty of shots in his armoury, Ashwin scored 612 runs in 14 innings at an average of 43.71 with two hundreds and four fifties in 2016.

For a man who was left out for the seventh time in nine Tests (at Adelaide Oval in December, 2014), Ashwin didn't just come back strong to cement his position, but he has truly gone on to become India's premier match-winner.

Virat Kohli's sensational form with the bat has been the backbone of Indian batting over the past few years now. Whether it's limited-overs or the longer version of the game, the right-hander has proved his mettle to establish that he can do no wrong with a willow in his hand.

Such has been his genius with the bat that it has led to comparisons with the great Sachin Tendulkar, with many believing Kohli to be better than the Little Master.
    BCCL

After guiding India to an emphatic Test, ODI and T20 series win against England, the Indian batting sensation continued to torment the opposition in the first innings of the ongoing India vs Bangladesh Test match in Hyderabad.

The 28-year-old slammed a scintillating 204 off 246 balls to ensure India posted a mammoth total of 687 runs in the first innings. In the process, he became the first batsman ever in the history of Test cricket to score double hundreds in four consecutive series.

And, while the cricket fraternity came out praising the might of Kohli, Tendulkar, too, didn't waste any time to laud the right-hander for his monumental achievement.

The sweet spot on your bat speaks about the awesome form you are in, don't need scoreboards.May god always keep your bat like that @imVkohli pic.twitter.com/zSgLgTeTYY
    — sachin tendulkar (@sachin_rt) February 11, 2017
Tendulkar was undoubtedly India's most prized possession on the cricket field and even though he has retired now, the Master Blaster continues to be an inspiration for an entire generation of cricketers to keep performing at their best for India, including the explosive Kohli.

There are all kinds of people in the world, and a difference in opinion often leads to problem in relationships. How we overcome these psychological barriers that hinder our relations define who we are. Li Chen, a 58-year old Chinese man had a troubled marriage, and when his wife, a gambling addict, divorced him a few years ago, he found solace in living with *** dolls.
    © Youtube
The father-son duo that lives with seven *** dolls recently became viral after the whole world became fascinated by the story. Li Chen keeps them like his daughters and dresses them every day. He even takes them on vacations. Just like a normal family would.

If you are wondering why his paternal instincts abruptly shot up towards these silicone female figures, it is because of his belief that these *** dolls, unlike humans, would never betray him or leave him.

In an interview, he explained that he didn’t want his son to sexually experiment with random women so the *** dolls serve that purpose as well. However, for Li himself, they are not *** objects but family.

Li Chen is not the only man that went through a divorce but his unique way of coping loneliness has intrigued every one around him.

The much-awaited trailer of ‘Naam Shabana’, the prequel to ‘Baby’, has been released, and it is tight with suspense and drama. Tracing the backstory of Taapsee Pannu’s character in ‘Baby’, this one shows how an ordinary girl came to become a RAW agent.

Written and produced by Neeraj Pandey, who has given films like ‘A Wednesday’, ‘Special 26’, ‘Baby’, this one features Taapsee Pannu in the lead role. If the trailer is anything to go by, and it is, the movie is going to be one action-packed spy thriller. Just like in ‘Baby’, Taapsee Pannu is seen kicking some serious ass in the trailer of ‘Naam Shabana’.
The film releases on 31 March 2017, and we can hardly contain our excitement.

‘Closer’ by The Chainsmokers is probably the most overplayed song of all time and I’m pretty sure you must be completely sick of it (we definitely are) but this song was a big hit and inspired a number of covers as well. Some were good, some not so much. But the worst one so far is by Nasir Khan Jan, a vlogger from Pakistan. Don’t believe us? Listen for yourself!

His ‘singing’ was so horrible that it even got him arrested!

Dr Gregory House – the genius doctor who has absolutely no regard for conventions and whose patients find death more pleasant than his company. You could call him the ‘mad scientist’ but he has little regard for recognition too. Witty, rude to the point that his patients dread life itself, and a sociopath who hates humans albeit not humanity – Dr House is your modern-day anti-hero.
His unrelenting wit makes the show what it is. Much of the show’s humour is derived from his colleagues and interns struggling to put up with his whims and eccentricities. Truth is that although there is no one as crude as him, there’s no one as honest and efficient as him. The man gets the job done, whatever his ways may be. Here are 12 quotes by him that prove life is unfair and you have to keep up to survive. Welcome to the real world, Dr House would say.

There’s something about Jennifer Aniston. Whether it’s her sun-kissed skin or those sparkling eyes that hold more than they speak, there is a magnetic charm about the American actress. She is the kind of beauty you fall in love with at first sight. Hers is the kind of beauty that is unaware of itself.
She made our hearts skip a beat when she appeared on the screen as Rachel Greene from ‘FRIENDS’. If you are a nineties child, she was probably your first crush. There are hundreds of stunning women in the world, but there is something disarming about the unself-conscious beauty of Jennifer Aniston. Even at 48, the woman can make any young man’s heart skip a beat. We look at some of her pictures, old and new, to admire this evergreen beauty once again, because she is only getting better with age.

What does Valentine’s Day really mean to us?
We’ve heard the story; we know the history. We’ve followed up on the trend and we scorn at the gimmicks that celebrate “the day of love.” Only too often have I heard individuals say it’s bullshit and yet others prepare for it like a birthday, or festival. But, what does it really mean to us, in the deepest core of our being?
    © Unsplash
I decided to take the question to the masses and got these individuals to tell me what they really think.
So, what does Valentine’s Day really mean to us?  1. Nivedita Sharma, Journalist, IANS
“To me, it’s basically an off day I spend at home, alone with my partner. It means alone time with the one person I really want to
    be alone with.”
    2. Somak Adhikari, Senior Officer, Indiatimes
“A day just like any other, ‘cause if you’re single it makes no difference and if you’re not, then no one day is needed to remind you of that.”
    3. Faizan Patel, Blogger & Photographer
“It’s a marketing gimmick by Archies and Cadbury’s… and mothers-in-law!”
    4. Varun Pratap, PR & Marketing Professional
    “… And Hallmarks…”
    5. Pallavi Chaturvedi, Blogger
“I got introduced to Valentine's Day through Archies, the comics. And as a tiny 5-year-old I made my Mom a card for it. Since then, the day has always been about love for me. But, all kinds of love. I remember each and every person I love and connect with them, reminding myself about exactly why they matter. Oh, and a day to bake something for my family; no gifts, store-bought cards, dinners or anything commercial though. Now, as a blogger, it's also about curating lists of things you can do without spending a bomb. :)”
    6. Dhatri Bhatt, Head of Communications, H&M
“It’s the day I wear pink, simple.”
    © Unsplash
    7. Chandni Mahajan, PR Professional
“Honestly, it is just another day. If I want to do something special, then I will do it, no matter what, but it need not be Valentine's day. It shouldn't be a forced celebration, is my point. As kids, my brother and I used to go out to check out love birds and make fun of them… hehehe…”
    8. Aakanksha Bhutani, PR & Marketing Head
“Valentine's Day gives me a reason to spread my creative wings and step ahead of the cliché heart and flower game and create something more personalized; maybe a customized illustrated chocolate bar, or a scarf with initials.”
    9. Sakshi Gandhi, Brand Consultant
“For me, every day is a day of love. I feel we should make our partner feel special every day and it should not be confined to just one day. It has now become a festival in Delhi; the restaurants run special promotions, brands launch special collection, etc. So, I like to revel in the celebrations as it feels good to go with the flow.”
    10. Vishal Bhalla, PR Professional
“For me, it’s just a regular day. If you love someone, there is no specific day, or time to express your feelings to your partner; whether it’s valentine, or rose, or chocolate day. It can be celebrated any day and anytime if you really mean it.”
    11. Varun Ravindranath Rana, Editor, Luxpresso
“Valentine's Day to me is a fond childhood memory...exciting because it was a little clandestine, slightly forbidden. It's sad that today everything has taken on a political flavour, robbing the innocent joy out of a harmless idea like a special day to celebrate love (any kind of love, as Valentine's is not restricted to girlfriends and boyfriends). Of course, I know that it's a huge commercial gimmick perpetrated by the Capitalists! But in celebrating St. Valentine's Day, we needn't fall into that trap. Neither do we have to keep proving our nationalism or Hinduism by actively shunning it. For my part, I feel any day can be Valentine's Day. Ascribing a date to it just makes it a little special for people who don't think like I do, which I can respect. And hey, setting aside the commercial angle which everyone should be wary of anyway, what's wrong with celebrating love for a day in a world that seems increasingly fueled by hate?”
That, right there, is literally all my thoughts and emotions rolled into 11 individual viewpoints! And, on that note, wish you all a very Happy Valentine’s Day. I’m going to go buy the street dogs some presents, now.

Seeing all the mainstream Marvel superheroes in one film is every Marvel fan’s wet dream. With ‘Avengers: Infinity War’, that dream is going to come true. Marvel just released the first look of the ‘Infinity War’ with the behind-the-scenes footage from the very first day of the shoot.

There’s also a short sneak-peak into the first concept art for the mega movie that drops hints about what is to come and why ‘Captain America: Civil War’ was important. The movie is more or less the meeting point of all the Avenger movies thus far.
    Here’s the video:

It looks like that the movie revolves around the almighty Infinity Gems that possess the ultimate powers of the universe. The three-minute clip also features a few actors from different phases of Marvel’s Cinematic Universe—Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Chris Pratt (Star-Lord) and Tom Holland (Spider-Man). Kevin Feige, president of Marvel Studios, is also featured in the video and is seen talking about how ‘Infinity War’ will bring together all of the movies. We can’t wait for the movie to come out!

Donald Trump has been shaking the international community by changing a lot of United States’ foreign policy that directly affects many states that have a history of terrorist activities. US authorities have hinted that there will be a possible shift in USA’s policy towards Pakistan too. John Nicholson, Army Chief who leads the US and international forces in Afghanistan, wants to implement a harsher policy towards Pakistan. For many years, US considered Pakistan as a trusted and close ally in its war against terror. However, it seems like their opinion might be changing very soon.
    Source: Reuters
This sudden change in attitude might be catastrophic for the region as it might affect the stability of the area. Afghanistan and its neighbouring regions are considered to be one of the unstable areas in the world and the US needs all the help it requires in order to maintain stability. Nicholson told the Senate Armed Services Committee, “Our complex relationship with Pakistan is best assessed through a holistic review."
    Source: Reuters
In the recent past, the US has reduced the number of soldiers stationed in Afghanistan and in tandem reduced economic aid to Pakistan as well.
Moeed Yusuf, the associate vice president of the Asia Center at the United States Institute of Peace, told Reuters "The tools that will get Pakistan to hurt so badly, that it would want to do what the U.S. is asking, is a very high-risk proposition in terms of what happens within Pakistan."
According to Yusuf, the decision for a harsher policy towards Pakistan will result in “reducing the level of economic and military aid’, which in turn will lead to increasing number of drone strikes along the border of Pakistan and Afghanistan."US policy makers, deep down inside, they realise Pakistan is more important than Afghanistan in the long term," Yusuf said.

The latest offering from Samsung is packing some real punch in this new piece of hardware. The Samsung Gear S3 Frontier is the latest version of their smartwatch line and, after using it for weeks, we can say all but one thing—the competition needs to step up its game.
The Frontier line of the smartwatch, which is meant for outdoor activities, is the one we’ve been testing out. Priced at Rs 28,500, Samsung’s latest offering feels like the ultimate smartwatch to own. It runs the company’s own Native Tizen operating system that works in synergy with the native app. The rotating bezel makes a return, which makes navigation on the smartwatch a much better experience than ever before.
The smartwatch pairs over Bluetooth with most Android phones and now it even works with iPhones. It has built-in GPS for people who like to run outdoors and can also make calls, thanks to a speaker and microphone on board. Visually, the smartwatch is bigger than the predecessor. How does it fare against the Gear S2, you might ask; let’s find out.
Design At first glance, there is no doubt that the smartwatch is big and will put any smartwatch to shame, thanks to its 46mm frame. Being a bigger and heavier watch, it is undeniably more masculine than any other smartwatch we have tested in the past year.
The Gear S3 Frontier has a rugged look that appeals to outdoor watch enthusiasts, which might not be everyone’s cup of tea as some prefer the classier look.
    © MensXP
The Gear S3 Frontier is as durable as many other wearables since it is IP68 certified water-resistant. You can submerge it in water, provided you don’t submerge it beyond 1.5 meters or for more than 30 minutes. That being said, make sure you do not go swimming with this watch because it will falter. You can take a shower while wearing the smartwatch, however, you might face some difficulty operating the touchscreen until it has dried up. It is a little disappointing that Samsung did not opt to make it fully waterproof, as Apple did not fail to seize the opportunity.

You can even swap out the straps to add some personality and also change multiple switch watchfaces, which might just add that extra appeal you are looking for. The band, which comes with the Frontier, is made of silicone, which is perfect for outdoor use or at the gym.

On the left side of the body, a speaker has been tucked away, which allows you to make phone calls and even listen to music. At the back of the watch, you will find the heart rate sensor, which is similar to any other fitness tracker. However, what makes it stand out from the rest is that it can track your steps and heart rate continuously while you exercise.
    Screen © MensXP
Much like Samsung’s phones, the Frontier’s screen is stunning and amazing to look at. The fact that the watch is bigger, it is a given that the screen has gotten bigger as well. It sports a 1.3-inch screen, which also happens to be AMOLED touchscreen display. The colours are bright and vibrant maintaining sharpness that cannot be matched elsewhere. We faced no trouble viewing the screen in bright sunlight or at night, which is a great feat as those are some of the more common struggles we face with wearables today. Samsung also implemented Corning’s Gorilla Glass, which means it is scratch- and damage-resistant.
Battery Life  The smartwatch is packed with some fancy new features and a display that nobody can rival. However, in order to support these new features, Samsung has installed a 380mAh battery which can make the Frontier last 2 to 2.5 days of regular use. Even though the battery size has been increased, we feel this is where Samsung has room to improve.

The extra battery life also enables the Frontier to have an altimeter and a speedometer on board which makes it one of the compelling fitness wearables out there. The ability to make phone calls straight from the smartwatch also demands a bigger battery since making long calls can cost you a lot of drainage of battery. You can even stream music to your watch over Wi-Fi, which is a neat feature I did not expect from Samsung.
Functionality  Like any other smartwatch, the Gear S3 Frontier functions like your companion where you can manage notifications that appear on your phone straight on your wrist. You can manage apps like Facebook, WhatsApp, Twitter amongst many others. It can even track the weather where you can set your current location and get regular updates. You can even use voice to text functionality in case you do not want to type out the reply from your phone.
One can navigate the menus by rotating the bezels and can select a function by clicking on one of the two buttons or by tapping on the screen. It was the most attractive and useful feature on the Gear S3 frontier and is probably going to be the real reason why I love playing around with this smartwatch.

The Gear S3 also has an elaborate focus on the fitness quotient, which might be the feature most smartwatch users are interested in. Samsung S Health works like a charm with the ecosystem and you can track various fitness activities like gym, cycling, running, weight training, treadmill runs etc. It will also track your steps, sleep data and heart rate, which is expected from any smartwatch today.
The Final Say  The Samsung Gear S3 is packed with a lot of features, apps, and functionality and it is hard to ignore this device. Even though the battery life is average if compared to other smartwatches, it makes up for it with ease of use and functionality. In order to accommodate so many features, the sleek design from the previous iteration has been sacrificed but it still looks stylish and appealing nonetheless. If you were looking to upgrade your current Android smartwatch or looking to buy a new one, we would strongly recommend the Gear S3 Frontier as your next buy. However, if you are an iPhone user, the experience might be a bit buggy and not up to the mark.

They gave us hits like ‘Sun & Moon’, ‘Thing Called Love’ and very lately, ‘We’re All We Need’ and they are heading to India this March and it’s going to be lit. Not because they’re just another international dance music group who are renowned and have worked to create some of the best trance music that we have today. But, because their music is as good as a feeling and it demands to be felt.
I don’t remember when I started listening to Above & Beyond, for the very first time. But, I do remember the group being a very important part of my musical maturity; especially when it comes to house music. The general word around the block has always been that dance music is for amateur music lovers who don’t really know what’s beyond the bassline. The general consensus is that dance music belies the acoustics of music.
    © Above & Beyond
That’s where Above & Beyond has proven the theory wrong. The English progressive trance group, consisting of members Jono Grant, Tony McGuinness, and Paavo Siljamäki, has taken your regular house music track, crafted and customized it in such a way that it is music to your ears… with, or without the music. After creating some of the most iconic dance music tracks that had us writing them down as our contemporary living legends, they took that music, turned it around and into acoustic orchestrated symphony that was as addictive as Beethoven’s Sonata.
    © YouTube
Having formed in 2000, the turn of the century, the trio founded London-based electronic dance music labels Anjunabeats, which went on to become one of the most popular labels. Their weekly radio show titled ‘Group Therapy Radio’ became a cult in no time.
The reason is simple. Because they didn’t restrict their musical prowess to one genre, or property. They knew that music needs to be diversified in order to touch more than one mind and more than one soul. They understand the essence of melody and that music has a soul. Somehow, they manage to find just the right balance between soulful music, heartfelt lyrics and mind-numbing rhythm to let you lose yourself in the music. They invested their efforts, passions and arts into music in every form. That’s why they’re Above & Beyond. And that’s why watching them perform in India next month is worth every penny, second and ounce of energy spent.

A unique take on everything is a must these days and this rather huge one completely stands out. A businessman transformed an actual airplane that once flew for Air India into a fancy restaurant called ‘Hawai Adda’ in Ludhiana. According to the National Restaurant Association of India, the plane has been permanently parked at the Verka Milk Bar premises on Ferozpur Road.
A photo posted by Hawai Adda (@hawaiaddaldh) on Dec 16, 2016 at 11:56am PST
The huge restaurant has it all – a dining area, a bakery, a kitty hall and a cafe.
A photo posted by Hawai Adda (@hawaiaddaldh) on Jan 8, 2017 at 5:52am PST
Even though the project ran into some trouble last year and its opening was delayed, this brainchild of a local businessman is now up and running. Earlier, the plane was intended to be used for ornamental purposes but it was later converted into a restaurant.

With this really cool and unique concept, ‘Hawai Adda’ is definitely worth checking out. And it will probably be the first plane that actually serves good food!

Detroit Car Company Ford has made the biggest investment in self-driving technology by any car manufacturer ever. Ford acquired a majority stake in an artificial intelligence startup ‘Argo AI’ by investing $1 billion to fund the development of a self-driving brain.
    © Youtube
Ex-engineers from Uber and Google, who both graduated from Carnegie Mellon’s robotics institute founded Argo AI. The start-up specialises in developing AI software for self-driving cars. “From an accounting standpoint, [Argo AI] is a subsidiary,” said Ford CEO Mark Fields at an event in San Francisco. “But in terms of how they’re operating and how we’re structuring the board, this gives them a lot of independence.”
    © Tesla
Ford and Argo AI will work hand in hand to develop an autonomous system for a self-driving car and they hope to put this technology on the road by 2021. The two companies are also exploring the idea of licensing out the self-driving software to other car manufacturers.

With Google and Apple in the self-driving car race, Ford hopes to make a significant contribution towards developing their own self-driving mechanism and is in line with their recent strategy to invest in autonomous hardware and software. With other companies like Uber, Tesla and now Ford joining in the race, it is good to know that self-driving cars might step out of the research phase and into the market sooner than expected.

Adventure junkies don’t abide to limits. Coupled with the potential of their adventure tale going viral, they overlook the possibility of losing their life. Olav is a Norwegian adventure enthusiast and an avid explorer. His latest trip, deep into an abandoned cold war bunker, almost cost him his life but he pulled it off anyway, unscathed. The footage he brought from the hellish bunker is stuff right out of nightmares.

Going by the name of Olav XO on YouTube, it looks like he has a thing for exploring abandoned World War and Cold War facilities all across Norway. And nonetheless, the videos are intriguing and very captivating. Here, this is the video we are talking about in this article.
To make things even more nightmarish, Olav took the trip in the dark of night. Apart from the natural beauty, Norway is almost a no man’s land, considering the scarce population it houses. The climate is also extreme. Put a nuclear bunker in the middle of such a setting and you have scare stuff ready.

If you liked the video, you can check out his channel and show the guy some love because he really is doing some cool stuff.

We have come to expect so much from Virat Kohli that now even his centuries and double centuries seem mundane. Apart from those gravity-defying strokes that he plays in his incredible innings now-a-days, there’s not much we look forward to because the guy himself doesn’t like to emote much upon reaching key milestones.
    © Twitter
But guess what? For all of you die-hard fans of Kohli, we have a litmus test ready. Do you remember how many sixes Virat has hit in his four double centuries?
Is it 10? Or 6, or is it just 3?
If your answer is anything more than 1, you’re wrong. Virat Kohli has just hit one six in his four double-century innings and,
that six too came in the 235-run knock against England at Wankhede.
    © Twitter
Virat Kohli is a calculated risk-taker and that is one of the major strengths of the right-handed batsman. He seldom goes for the biggies and that serves him well in longer innings because he is able to control the situation much better with his ground strokes. And it is also a skill that the Indian captain has developed over time.
Sixes or not, we are just happy with him scoring those big doubles every series. After double against West Indies, New Zealand, England and Bangladesh, all we can say is – Dear Australia, please come soon.

Priyanka Chopra has been making news with her long list of appearances on different talk shows in the whole world, but this time she was on the other side and co-hosted the American talk show ‘The View’ and even ended up interviewing Dev Patel, who recently made us all proud with his Oscar nomination for his work in the movie ‘Lion’ and for becoming the first Indian actor to be nominated in over 13 years!
    © YouTube
Priyanka asked Dev about his connection with India and his experience of shooting in the country. Dev explained how growing up in England, he spent most of his life suppressing his Indian heritage, but how visiting India for the first time at the age of seventeen to shoot for ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ changed his perspective completely and made him fall in love with the place he visited i.e. Mumbai.
    Well, watch for yourself!
