Poonam had earlier, in September 2020, lodged a complaint against Sam for assaulting and molesting her. The complaint was filed in Goa where the couple had gone for their honeymoon after tying the knot earlier that month.
Sam Bombay was booked under Sections 353 (causing hurt), 353 (insult) 506 (criminal intimidation), and 354 (outraging modesty) of the Indian Penal Code.

Because he is just crying in front of me and I really don’t know what to do? Every time he just beat me up and later starts crying saying sorry. This time also he did the same and promised it will not happen again and I will treat you well. But this is something he keeps doing always. Because of him, I got a brain hemorrhage," she told the portal.
We wonder what’s keeping her stuck in this relationship despite a series of unfortunate incidents.
