Preity Zinta and hubby Gene Goodenough are on cloud nine as they are now parents to twin babies. Yes, you read that right! The much-in-love couple opted for surrogacy to welcome their little munchkins. Taking to social media, the Kal Ho Naa Ho star shared the good news with her fans today (18 November) and announced the names of her son and daughter.

Sharing a picture with her husband on Instagram along with a heartfelt note, the 46-year-old actress revealed that the couple has named the twins Jai Zinta Goodenough and Gia Zinta Goodenough. In her post, she also thanked doctors and the surrogate for being a part of this unforgettable and incredible journey. 

She wrote, "Hi everyone, I wanted to share our amazing news with all of you today. Gene & I are overjoyed & our hearts are filled with so much gratitude & with so much love as we welcome our twins Jai Zinta Goodenough & Gia Zinta Goodenough into our family. We are very excited about this new phase in our lives".

For the unversed, Zinta exchanged wedding vows with Goodenough in February 2016 and moved to Los Angeles, US. While the actress is away from the big screen since a long-time, she is very active on Instagram and often shares cute pictures with her husband. Here are a few images:

On the Bollywood front, Preity made her acting debut with Mani Ratnam's 1998 film Dil Se and featured in many successful films like Soldier, Kya Kehna, Dil Chahta Hai, Koi Mil Gaya, Salaam Namaste among others. She was last seen in Bhaiaji Superhit co-starring Sunny Deol, Arshad Warsi, Ameesha Patel, and Shreyas Talpade. The film was released in 2018 and failed to make a mark at the box office.
