Nora Fatehi is a professional belly dancer and her moves have been compared to Colombian pop star Shakira many times who is well-known for the dance art. 

However, this time, the 'Dilbar' fame is being called desi Shakira not just for her dance but also for her look in the latest music video

Guru Randhawa’s ‘Dance Meri Rani’, a sequel video to hit song ‘Naach Meri Rani’ (also featuring Nora) dropped today and fans can’t help but notice the striking similarity between Shakira and Nora’s get-up in the video.

Nora has long, blonde curls just like the ‘Waka Waka’ star and even the costume in the video reminded fans of Shakira’s look. 

Was it on purpose or just a fluke? We can’t say for sure but did pull off a Shakira-inspired look to the T in the video.

However, a few of the fans aren’t quite impressed with her copying the look. While some criticised the look saying it’s a bad attempt at copying the Hollywood singer, others questioned the need to play the desi Shakira.

A user wrote, “Arey hair style copy kiya Shakira ka.. to kam se kam dress to copy na karte yaar... Gajab bejjati hai.. (You copied Shakira's hairstyle, you shouldn't have copied her dress at least… what an insult).” Another commented Nora, “Palika Bazaar copy of Shakira.”

Some were okay with the look and found it amusing, but said the song didn't match its prequel and wasted a talent like Nora. They even praised her dance but said the song failed at impressing.  

A user wrote, “Nora looks amazing as always but the song is a total fail! Nora is wasted on it!” Someone also commented on Nora’s Instagram post, “You killed it but the song is trash.”

It’s definitely not easy to impress the fans and seems like ‘Dance Meri Rani’ gained a few dislikes for the look and the music. However, the chemistry between Guru Randhawa and Nora and his voice and her moves are being loved by fans.
