COVID-19. Delta. Omicron. IHU. Wherever you are in the world, over the past couple of years, these words have brought negativity to you. Directly or through a closed one.
Between fighting for a hospital bed while a parent was gasping for breath and standing in queues for the COVID-19 vaccine, this pandemic has proven that safety and health are not a choice.
So we cannot give up our masks just yet. What we can do is wear masks with more ease and comfort. Here are some common face mask problems people face and their solutions.
If Your Glasses Get Foggy

The combination of masks and glasses has become risky for people. You can’t drive, walk or read properly with a sheet of fog on your numbered glasses. Here are a few things you can do to de-fog your glasses.
You can use an anti-fog solution. It’s dependable and provides a long-lasting clear vision for masks that can last for up to 6 hours. The efficiency of a De-Fog solution can vary with the humidity in the environment but it can help block moisture from reaching your glasses.
2. Soapy WaterDoctors recommend washing your glasses with soapy water. Shake off the excess and let them air dry before putting them on. Unlike tap water, soapy water leaves behind a thin layer that after drying helps condensation to spread evenly into a transparent layer and prevent misting.

How To Clean Your Face MaskReusable MasksConsider your face to be as sensitive and important as your genitals. Much like you wouldn’t consider repeating dirty underwear, do not wear a reusable mask without washing it after every use.
Do not touch your face while taking off your mask. Make sure you don’t mix it with your other clothes. You can hand wash or machine wash your mask depending on the fabric but hot water and detergent are the keys here.
N95 MasksIdeally, you should throw away surgical or N95 masks after a single use and not try to clean and reuse them. The disinfection of the N95 mask isn’t something you should try to do by yourself as it requires proper equipment and facilities.
But if the need to sterilize a phone, earphones and other regular use items, go for a UV steriliser.
