Thalaiva was seen in an Indian-American action-adventure titled Bloodstone (1998). Based on a mythical ruby, it was the only Hollywood film featuring Rajinikanth and was produced by Ashok Amritraj. With his performances in the movie, the South star succeeded in making waves overseas.

The Atrangi Re actor made his Hollywood debut with the 2018 film The Extraordinary Journey Of The Fakir. Directed by Ken Scott, the English-language adventure comedy is based on a novel titled The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir Who Got Trapped in an Ikea Wardrobe, by Romain Puertolas. He will also be seen in the much-awaited movie The Gray Man helmed by Anthony and Joe Russo. It also stars Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans. 

The actor, who did numerous Tamil films since the 1990s, entered Hollywood in 2019 with Christmas Coupon. In the same year, he appeared in Sam Logan Khalegi's Devil's Night: Dawn Of The Nain Rouge. The actor will be seen playing a music producer in the upcoming Hollywood film Trap City. Interestingly, the movie also marks the International debut of another South actor G.V. Prakash.

G.V. Prakash, a popular music composer turned actor, is making his Hollywood debut with the film Trap City. Brandon T Jackson and Dennis LA White play pivotal roles in the film about a drug dealer who becomes a successful rapper. Prakash is reportedly playing the role of a doctor who treats Brandon T Jackson and persuades him to try singing.

Kumar, who was seen in Vishwaroopam alongside Kamal Haasan, has also appeared in Hollywood films such as Bollywood Hero, Man on a Ledge, Anything For You among others.
