As the Indian version of the famous reality show - Shark Tank came along, several of us got hooked to the likes of this business and investment related show where people like you and I would go to pitch their dreams and come back with a solid investor on board.

With seven entrepreneurs on board, all of whom impressive and successful in their own right, the show was a raging success right before it became one more thing - controversial. And the credit for that goes to one of those many entrepreneurs - Ashneer Grover.
As of this morning, #ArrestAshneerGrover is trending on Twitter and people ruthlessly call out the BharatPe co-founder for allegedly threatening and abusing a bank employee. More so because they are rather unimpressed with the entrepreneur as well as Sony, for continuing his appearance on the reality show - Shark Tank India.

The fintech maestro is reportedly on a voluntary leave till March-end, as per the company’s statements, and this has followed after an audio clip went viral where he allegedly can be heard screaming, threatening and abusing an employee from the Kotak Mahindra Bank.
“Fake audio by some scamster trying to extort funds,” was Ashneer Grover’s stance on it when the audio clip went viral. However, he soon deleted his tweet making room for wild speculation. And as it turns out, now Kotak Mahindra Bank is taking legal action against him over using “inappropriate language” for their employee.

Acknowledging that the bank did indeed receive a legal notice on October 30 from a couple alleging that the bank had failed to secure the finance and allotment of shares in the Nykaa IPO, furthermore seeking Rs 500 crores in damages. On January 9, the bank confirmed that the couple was indeed Ashneer Grover and his wife Madhuri, who also made an unpleasant call and hurled abuses at the relationship manager of the bank.
As more and more details of this case and all the previous controversies involving the BharatPe co-founder and MD come to the surface, people have issued a hashtag against him on Twitter, urging for his arrest.

Riled up with the fact that someone who is being accused of dishing out threats is still being celebrated on a TV show, people are calling out for his arrest as soon as possible and dissing Sony for standing in support of ‘such a criminal’.
